Be on the lookout for “surprise throwback specials” during 4 to 6 p.m. happy hours, with $6 Old Fashioneds and mystery punch deals announced on their social media the day of. Tonight, Slane Irish Whiskey slings $10 hot toddies and Old Fashioneds all night and founder Alex Conyngham will be meeting patrons at the Kalorama bar from 6 to 8 p.m. On Thursday, November 14, Maestro Dobel Tequila fuels $10 margaritas and hot ciders. Signature Pepperbox and The Belmont cocktails will be $10 on Sunday during a book signing with Travis Mitchell, the author of D.C. Cocktails: A Collection of Over 100 Recipes Inspired by the Capital City, which includes two McClellan’s Retreat cocktails in his book.
