Nice service but something needs to be done about the iced coffees. Any time I’ve ordered an iced coffee in the past few months, the flavor syrup sits at the bottom with the rest being bitter. I end up having to mix it myself. This didn’t use to be a problem but it happens every time I order one. Very inconvenient and doesn’t taste right.

First, their AM staff is unmatched - superb customer service and when I reported a missing item they called and made it right. I placed a pickup order on Thanksgiving evening for my family and used a lot of my McDonald’s points. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was turned away and told they were only fulfilling DoorDash and Uber Eats orders, and that my order would be automatically refunded. I left and went to another location, but about five minutes later I received a notification that my order was “ready” and that they hoped I enjoyed the food “as much as they enjoyed making it.” I immediately called because I didn’t want it to look like I simply didn’t pick up my order. The employee on the phone said, “If I knew that was you, I would’ve let you get it,” which was confusing since I had already told them I was there for a pickup order and they never asked for any additional information—even after I insisted multiple times that my order was placed. It’s now been two weeks, I’m no longer in town, and despite multiple attempts to contact the store, I still have no resolution and have not received my refund.

Ordered on the mobile app, they were really fast at the Drive Thru and the food was very hot and tasted great! Will be coming back to this location for sure. I’m not sure how it got a 3.3 overall rating, deserves a 5/5 for sure.

Top notch was at the drive-thru and they said that their system was down for about 10 to 20 minutes and that they could not take orders. I decided to go in with the kids and wait and the manager literally started making the employees right orders down and take cash only with no tax charge rounding everything out to a even dollar. They were pumping the food out making the people happy still. Food was hot and great this McDonald's is always top notch

Did a huge pickup order and my 20 pc nuggets were missing. The food is also not fresh but more on the burnt side and the bbq sauces weren’t even sealed . A couple of them were open so when I went to grab my fries out of the bag the sauces spilled onto my rather pricey rug. I had to send my mother to get the nuggets with the receipt. This is not ok . If it was that busy, taking time to get things properly is better than rushing

Although it is a seasonal item, I enjoyed the McRib sandwich!! I wish it will be a permanent part of the menu! The complaints are on the fries. They were overcooked as it was too hard, and overly salted. Although I do not mind the salt, but it way overly too salted!

Shout out HUGE shout out to miss Liz... made sure my order was fixed and threw in an apple pie just because. Her customer service was amazing timing impeccable and with a smile on her face. My snack wraps ( extra ranch extra lettuce) were delicious ❤️❤️❤️

I would give this 0 stars but I can't, I pulled up and the guy was so lazy he made reach all the way into the drive thru to pay, then I received my order with no sauce for my nuggets. They had me pull into the delivery line and when my food was brought out the guy had me reach all the way out of my car with zero effort on his part. The laziness was unreal. McDonald's we need you to do better, train these young people on customer service like like Chik-Fil-A

I have noticed the last few visits this location getting slow but today was the worst. Ordered food and drove for mobile pickup. After 30 minutes I walked inside. Appears the drive through and the inside counter were a mess. I was told they were short staff. When my food did come to the car I got no straw and drink was little flat. The person bringing the food to the car was not pleasant at all. Guess it's good as time as any to stop visiting a fast food restaurant. The word fast is a lie.

My order was a steak, egg & cheese bagel meal 2/ an orange juice. Somehow i received my orange juice, my hash brown and a bagel with egg & cheese (NO STEAK). It's to no wonder why this business is slowly becoming the place people do not want to eat at. The manager should train his employees a lot better to pay attention to detail.

Worst McDonald's for Door Dashers. DO NOT ACCEPT ORDERS FOR THIS ONE. You WILL wait 20 minutes plus to pick up, affecting your deliveries. If you're a customer in this area waiting for a DoorDash order from here, please be patient with your driver. It's probably not their fault it's taking so long.

This is my third time at this McDonald's and by far the worse McDonald's I have ever been to. Don't get me wrong the workers are friendly and polite but the service is just awful. The first time I went there the system was down and we couldn't even order at the cashier, second time I went I was missing an item which was my fault for not checking and third time it I waited 30mins just to get my food at the drive thru. The sad thing is that I bet the owners or managers don't care because this place gets busy often and is the only McDonald in the Western Branch area!

This McDonald's location is a joke. They're always 30 minutes late opening, even though the app and Google Maps say they're open. When I asked why, I was told "the cook isn't ready." Seriously? Then why are you advertising false hours? On top of that, I never get ice in my drinks--like they're just doing the bare minimum to get by. This place clearly doesn't care about customer experience at all.

This has got to be the WORST McDonalds on Gods earth. I don't expect much from any McDonalds anywhere......but these people......take dilligaf to a whole new level. Double drive thru lane is worthless when staff takes 20mins to do orders and then the damn food is cold to boot. The owner of this location should be embarrassed is a polite word. Better yet, get out of the restaurant industry. Your location and staff are an utter failure

Went in here at 9pm and they said there only dealing with people in drive threw. Full staffed , people on there cell phones so don't give me that BS that there understaff. Hours said I'm good to go in door unlocked ect. They also had this sign up. Wtf fire everyone

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered two big breakfasts with hot cakes, a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin & two caramel fraps. They bring out my food and make me park for the fraps. I look through the bag and there are no hot cakes in my breakfast so I inform the lady she says "oh okay" I'm thinking she is going to bring my hot cakes, after 10 mins still nothing so I go back through the drive thru & they tell me they didn't ring it up because I didn't say hot cakes. So I didn't tell you what I wanted correctly? They finally bring my hot cakes after the manager says that I didn't ask for hot cakes & of course when I get home they didn't even put egg or cheese on my sausage EGG & CHEESE MCMUFFIN. I guess I didn't ask for that right either. I'll starve before I ever spend another dime here.

Poor customer service......I would give ZERO stars. I literally sat at the drive through for 20 min (5 in line and 15 at the drive though speaker) waiting for someone take our order. I didn't think the speaker was working so we drove up to the window to place our order. When I got to the window the girl working proceeded to chide me for coming to the window. I tried to explain that I didn't think the speaker was working and she said, "I told you I would be right with you." I then said, "15 minutes ago." She then proceeded to try to argue with me. I asked her if she was going to take my order or argue with me. We just went for ice cream. She then proceeded to tell me they didn't have ice cream. So I drove off. My first job when I was 16 was at Burger King. We were trained to tell customers if they were waiting longer than 2 minutes that we were with another customer but would be right with them. Not here! I would have been fired on the spot for arguing with a customer like she did. What happened to customer service? This McDonalds isn't very good anyway. So we went to Dairy Queen.

For every good experience at this location there's 5 bad ones. The morning is the only time I'll ever go here. I love the morning employees. The afternoon/dinner/evening service is awful .. hit or miss. You never know how much they are going to care that day about food. They slap food together and it looks absolutely ghastly. It's almost like they're in a race to see who can make the worst looking food. They also never fail to over salt and over cook/mushy up and brown the fries somehow.. It's killing my taste buds with all that salt though. The ice cream is always melted fully like soup which I have a photo of. Again. I spend time calling them to tell them how amazing they are when they are amazing. But when they aren't I have no idea what to do. This ain't acceptable. It ain't right. If you don't like your job then don't do work at it. Put your energy into it and stop acting like everyone is out to get you or like you don't get paid enough to do it. At least you have a job. But McDonald's employees especially at night..... please stop messing with peoples food. It's not right and not okay.

I hadn't been to a McDonald's in a long while but my car was being serviced and I was hungry. So I took a chance and I am so glad I did! The staff was very friendly and my food was hot and delicious. My table was clean and so was the surrounding area. The woman that took my order was warm and friendly like a family member. Great start to my morning. Thank you Ms Kesha... I know customer service can be hard but u rocked it!!! I'll be back!

Ordered 4 biscuits and 2 hash browns at 10:52. Originally came to order lunch, was informed they were still on breakfast. Ok, obviously you still have breakfast food to serve out. I would say fast forward, but there was absolutely nothing fast about the service being provided, so 20 minutes later and I now have lukewarm food in hand. Clearly asking a "fast food" company to provide food fast is too much for this location and it's employees to handle.

Overall it has been a pleasant visit! Not sure why no employee is walking around making sure the tables and eating area stay clean. It's not busy at all. But I think I'm amongst regulars. I tried the oatmeal for the first time and I love it! For 2.22 I found a healthy brkfst I can eat on the go.

Worst customer service. Not any kind of fast by any means. I asked for light ice and the don't even have ice which fine whatever but tell your customers that. They lounge around and aren't there to serve you but have to. Never go here if you don't have to. It's Sunday otherwise I'd be at chuck fil a!!!!

Live less than a mile from this location for over 20 years and bypass because it sucks. They recently remodeled it and I was hoping it was due to new ownership. Unfortunately same owner, same sloooow service, bad attitude, cold food and can'tf ill a simple order correctly. Ray Kroc must be rolling in his grave. Wish corporate would step in and take over this location. Guess the old adage is correct. You can polish a turd, but its still a turd.

I am an app based food delivery person. This is a review based on my experience picking up and delivering your food. Its a McDonalds... That being said, they get the food out and are polite. They take care of me here and I appreciate it. From the older woman with the ponytail working the register during the day. To the Women in the back that helped carry the food to my car. This one is a little different Delivering in covid has been a great insight into restaurant operations and priorities. For many, staff has been cut to protect margins I have 40+ years experience in food. I am a link in the food chain.

Just sat through this drive through for 20+min this has to be the slowest McDonald's in the 757. The manager in the red shirt was on her cellphone talking. There was co workers yelling to each other through the drive through WHILE IM GETTING MY ORDER TALKING TO THE EMPLOYEE. There was guys and girls that didn't have a hair net or have a beard net. Lastly the FRIES WERE BURNT ‍ this location has to do better

By far the worst McDonald's we've ever stepped foot in. Stopped here real "quick" for a restroom break and coke. The dining area was disgusting as we approached the even more disgusting restroom. Once back at the service counter 2 employees argued over whose job it wasn't to take our order. After ordering 2 Dr Peppers she proceeds to make 2 Dt Dr Peppers and we quickly corrected it to her annoyance. Still took 5 mins to get 2 sodas with no line. The back of the counter area was equally disgusting with food littering the floor. I will never go back here again.

Trust me I would give 0 if I could. 1st off I wait in the drive threw for 15 mins then get up there and they lady tells me too pull up they are still making my steak egg and cheese bagel. She comes out brings it too me and I ask can I have ketchup. She looks at me and rolls her eyes and goes back and comes back with an attitude. To the real part I take a bite out of my steak egg and cheese bagel there is a balled up piece of paper in it.

I went to get a steak bagel and sausage biscuits. I stood there for 18 minutes. There was only two other people in line one of which was already waiting for his order. I stood there and watched the discombobulated mess. I hope it was training day cause they had no organization whatsoever. Not to mention all the infighting they doing. I will say it was somewhat entertaining for me and the other customers while we waited.

I ran my daughter here to get a kids meal, asked for a girl toy she ended up with a boys toy. What really turned me away and I will not return is the actual drive thru service we got...the 1st window was average BUT the 2nd window was horrible, the lady did not speak at all, no hi how are you, not even a simple thanks. Thank you for making my choice easy by never returning.

This used to be a really nice McDonald's...In the 80's. It was not too bad for a couple decades beyond but now it is horrible. It is dirty, poorly managed and workers are lackadaisical and even plain rude. I do not believe this place is owned by them same franchise owner because I used to work there back in the late 80's and it was managed like a tight ship. There have also been many, many complaints about this location on the facebook group everything western branch. There is another McDonalds a couple miles away that is better and recently renovated in the Churchland area that is well worth the drive.

Honestly I never expect 5 star service from fast food but I do expect my food to be fast. I go to this McDonald's often because it is right by my house. They are consistently slow as heck. I can be the only person there and I have to wait 10 minutes to get my order. This morning it has taken me 17 minutes. This is not fast food.

I don't normally eat at McDonald's but I had a car full of kids so I stopped in at the McDonald's on Portsmouth Boulevard near the Chesapeake Square mall. Of course you know that McDonald's menu is always the same at any McDonald's you go, but the customer service from a employee by the name of Alicia was impeccable. I think because of Alicia I would have spent $100 in McDonald's this day. I hope that this company knows the value of her service. Kudos to Alicia I think you deserve a raise.
