Which Chains Are Providing Paid Sick Leave for COVID-19? | Eater

"The company announced 14 days of paid leave for employees who require quarantine, but that benefit applies only to corporate-owned restaurants; because over 90% of its locations worldwide are franchise-operated, most workers remain dependent on franchisee decisions and state/local sick-leave laws." - Jaya Saxena

McDonald’s to Provide Paid Time Off During Coronavirus Pandemic | Eater

"Under pressure from worker advocates demanding paid sick leave for anyone who wears the company uniform—including coverage during quarantine, payment for COVID-19 testing, and time off for parents with virus-related child emergencies—the corporation said employee and customer health is its highest priority and that it is continuously evaluating policies to provide flexibility and accommodations. It announced up to 14 days of paid sick leave for quarantined employees at corporate-owned stores, while noting that franchised locations operate as independent businesses and may set their own benefits, a distinction advocates say leaves many workers without blanket protections." - Jaya Saxena

Don’t allow customers to place orders online when you can’t provide the food. I understand that I went at 3am, but that is my lunch time. And if all you’re going to serve is hot cakes. Maybe add that in the app before I waste my time driving to your location that can’t/won’t serve what I ordered. Also maybe your employees need to be a little more knowledgeable about the app. I have never had this issue so I asked if I already paid or how I get a refund because on the app it said paid, the young lady had no idea she said figure it out on the app. When asked what’s their store number was I was asked to move it along by another employee. This happened early Sunday morning around 3 am, maybe your employees need better training it was a simple question that was met with disrespect.

Caitlin is the most WONDERFUL employee. I have a swath of allergies & she offered great guidance and I now make a point to stop through and at least get a drink & support them! Kindest employee in the city! Plus the decor is pretty cute & they keep it all nice and clean!

I waited twenty minutes (i know for a fact because of my life360) for a delivery order due to staff incompetence and managers excuses. If you have time to stand and gossip and play around you have time to get the order ready. My time is just as precious. I to am doing my job. 4x I had to repeat myself and it's not like they were busy, there was 5 orders when I arrived and two more while I waited. Get it together! Do better! Employees don't want to be lectured or hear any noise from customers well it's simple do YOUR JOB RIGHT it's what you get paid for and it's what you signed up for when you got the job.

My food took longer because they made drive thru the priority instead of customers who ordered food first in lobby. And my food took 20 minutes. I will take my business elsewhere please AVOID this location. Also they didn’t let me use my rewards app.

This is probably the most mismanaged McDonald's I have ever had the misfortune of expecting a reasonable minimum amount of competent service. My wife and I stop on the way to work for two frappuccinos. We pulled into the drive thru confident our wait would be minimal. I provided the mobile order number and was told to pull forward. At the pick up window a crew member motioned to move forward without a greeting. After 20 minutes first my wife went inside to check on our order but got no response from anyone at the counter. Upon seeing the lack of communication by the staff I immediately left my car and went in and retrieve my order after requesting my order or my refund. It seemed besides being late for work all was well. Later on that morning I called my wife to asked if she had experienced any digestive issues I was already on bout number two. That morning we competed to see who had the most trips to the restroom. So if terrible service and diarrhea is what your looking for this your place.

I had a really frustrating experience picking up a mobile order at this location. My cousin placed the order through the app, and I went to pick it up as a favor. From the very beginning, I gave the employee the exact pick-up code the app provided me. She told me where to go, but when I got to that area and gave the code again to a different employee, she said she couldn’t give me the order unless I told her what it was which makes no sense. Isn’t the whole point of the pick-up code to avoid issues like this? Then they asked me if I had paid. Like… seriously?? Obviously it was paid it was a mobile order. That’s the whole point! You order online, pay online, then pick it up and leave. Why ask something that should already be confirmed in their system? They also asked if I was with DoorDash even after I clearly said I wasn’t. I ended up waiting way too long (30 minutes!) for something that should’ve taken two. And to make things worse, the last employee who handed me the food had a rude attitude and disrespectful body language. This whole experience was disorganized, frustrating, and unprofessional. If I had known I’d be treated this way, I would’ve just placed the order in person and saved myself the trouble. Do better!!!!

I've really had it with this place in the morning. 10+ minutes in the drive thru for a single breakfast sandwich, and there's no one else in line, its 5:45 am. And then tell me to pull around to wait. I finally had to leave without my order so I wouldn't be late to work. Definitely seeking other options now.
