"After signing a sponsorship with the Toronto Raptors to give away medium fries in Ontario whenever the team hits twelve 3-pointers in a game, the promotion has been triggered far more often than expected following the offseason acquisitions of Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green and midseason addition Marc Gasol. The giveaway was redeemed 44 times in the regular season and 10 times in the playoffs, totaling more than two million medium orders and roughly $5.8 million CAD (about $4.37M USD) in free fries. Franchisees have voiced operational concerns—redemptions have ballooned to about three times original projections and some stores add an extra fry cook on “free fry days”—but the company is betting the cost will be offset by driving app downloads and repeat visits, since the fries are redeemable only via its app the day after a Raptors game." - Jenny G. McDonald’s on 4748 Ontario St, Beamsville, Ontario is an absolutely excellent McDonald’s location to visit. The location is extremely clean inside and out, the bathrooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly staffed with mostly Canadian high school students. The service was very friendly and they prepared my order very quickly. Nice family atmosphere and environment. I highly recommend.

We went through the drive through today and the girl that took our order was incredibly rude to us through the speaker. Her tone of voice was incredibly insulting, and she seemed dumbfounded that we wanted ice cream. We decided not to make anything of it. While waiting for our turn at the pick up window, there were two people out of their cars, trying to fix the errors on their drive through orders. While at the window, the McDonald’s employee seemed frazzled when another person informed her that his fries were missing. She apologized and said I’m sorry I’m having a night. Shaking her head, she handed our ice cream creams to us and said I just can’t wrap my head around people who would want ice cream right now. Insinuating it is our problem that his fries were missing even though we hadn’t ordered the ice creams yet. I was very disappointed when driving away to realize that my caramel sundae had two drops Of caramel on it. Complete waste of time and money. Thanks .

Stopped by for dinner here on a weeknight, after visiting Niagara Falls on the way back home. It’s a good location, right off the QEW. We dined in. The service was prompt, they weren’t too busy. Shani was great. The espresso machine wasn’t working so he upsized the original medium regular latte order to an XL coffee. One of our party was vegetarian so he was very accommodating and let us order a custom veggie sandwich with burger buns. We ordered double double coffees and they tasted great. We also ordered the new McCrispy Spicy Chicken Burger and it was good, not too spicy though. We had a big order and it was prepared in a timely manner. Shani even gave us donuts at a discount. Even though they close at 11 they didn’t rush us as we cut it quite close to closing. The washrooms were clean and so was the restaurant. They have a great sitting space with lots of tables. Keep up the good work!

Very slow drive through even when there’s nobody in line and orders are never right. Ordered a simple double double and muffin but received a plain black coffee and a muffin that was so hard it sounded like a rock when it hit the bottom of the garbage can. Waste of my money and time

I ordered a cranberry orange muffin and a fruit and fiber muffin. I received a fruit and fiber muffin and a chocolate. I mean there's quite a difference between a chocolate and a cranberry and orange. Not too happy. I was looking forward to the cranberry and orange and that's what I wanted.

Order #170 Earl Grey tea 2xmilk 3xsugar. What I received Green Tea What I received after my tea was exchanged? A huge attitude from Mr. Happy who was running the orders. The rudeness shown, along with no apology and NO eye contact! If you don't like people or if you're having a bad day call into work or, do us a favour and don't work in customer service! The bidy language said, " you are an inconvenience to me" Be happy you have a job! Instead you are a reminder of why I don't go in to order! In a world filled with turmoil this person decided to let my tea be the end of his day.

This restaurant is very warm. The moment you enter, you may want to take off your jacket. There are umpteen senior citizens occupying many tables and yet the restaurant is not full. This is in fact quite a big restaurant. There is only one cash and one counter on the opposite side to deliver the food and drink. I have not seen this layout in any other McDonald's restaurants. My order comes out fast and I enjoy my meal relaxedly.

The order taker doesn't like his job and can't take an order to save his life. They kept me at the window for 5 mind then parked me . Then the order was wrong.

First time I've ever done a Yelp review but this McDonalds has gone downhill. Took my 9 year old grandaughter there today for bacon egg mcmuffin. She is and expert and couldn't eat it. The bun was dry as a fart and it was covered in some kind of oil??? Told the person behind the counter about it and threw it in the garbage. No response from the staff. Ron Wild, Grimsby, Ontario

Today (2022-12-17), I paid for an order of 3 items plus 2 apple pies ($1.79+tax) at a self-order kiosk. After a little while, a female staff member politely told me they ran out of all pies. So I asked for fries with the willingness to work out the difference in cost. But she told me she cannot give me fries but can give me cookies. What! I kept quiet because I also like cookies. I could have easily canceled the entire order, got a refund, and reordered with fries. But I didn't want to cause "a fuss". I asked how many cookies they had because their display case was empty. She went into the back and said they only had 2 chocolate cookies left. So I told her 2 cookies cost $1.49+tax and so is she going to give me $0.30+tax back. She said "no"! What?! I explained to her that I already paid $1.79+tax and "you" are giving me something of lesser value without compensating me. She said that's what she can do and she is not giving me any money back. I tried to explain it to her again but she won't change her mind. At this point, she probably won't give me a full refund either. I said I wanted to speak to the manager. She moved away and said she didn't want to deal with me any longer. What?! So I yelled out I want to speak to the manager. She pointed to a man and said he is the manager. The manager finished an order in 15 secs and came over to me. I calmly explained everything to him and he asked her if there were more cookies (probably he wanted to give me a third cookie). She said they only had 2 left. Then I asked the manager to explain money transactions to her. She said I was harsh and stomp off into the back. The manager calmly said he could give me fries if I still wanted it. I said yes but what size? He said he can give me medium fries ($3.99) as a substitute for 2 pies ($1.79). I accepted. By the time he gave me the fries and the order 3 items, he said he will give me a refund for the 2 fries for the delay in fulfilling my order and then gave me $2.00 cash! I thanked him very much. I asked him again to please explain things to her and he said he will Review 2022-135

This Restaurant has 2 cash registers but only uses 1. Why? Because the owner spent several hundred thousand dollars on 4 kiosks and decided to become a Social Engineer and wants customers to use the kiosks. So he decided to have only one cash register open. On a holiday where the line up goes to the exit. Brilliant.

I'm an employee at this restaurant. The managers and such seem to just make up rules as they go. and just so you all know please don't tip the staff because they have just recently decided to not let us keep our tips.

Staff is very disorganized or overwhelmed with the number of orders in the drive thru specifically. Every time my family orders food we have to wait in the parking lot for the food for over 20 mins. Then we get the wrong order and we wait another 10 mins. Only to arrive home and also have the wrong beverages. ‍ it's just annoying for the high prices we pay for fast food and it's far from fast.
