Had an awesome experience at this McDonald’s in Manchester! The service was impressively fast, and the staff were super friendly and upbeat — it really made the visit feel welcoming. My meal was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I tried the Big Arch, a sandwich you can’t get in the US or Brazil, and it did not disappoint — smoky sauce, juicy beef, melty cheese… seriously, it’s a must-try if you’re visiting the UK. The location was clean, with accessible entry and a well-kept restroom, which made everything even better. If I lived in Manchester, I’d definitely be a regular here. A great stop for a tasty and quick bite in the city center!

The food is as good as you would expect. But there’s no way to do your order except on the screen, which is very tedious and slow. There is virtually no service. Don’t think you’re gonna come here and have a quick meal which is what you expect from McDonald’s.

Potentially the greatest McDonalds of all time. This is where we truly experienced what a chicken select is. Service was adequate for the time of night we went there. Food was always piping hot and delicious. I'll look back on this place fondly

My friend and I had some vouchers from my student accomodation and we were looking forward to using them after a long day in town. We head to the McDonald's and we try to order on the self checkouts, this did not work so we went up to the till instead. First of all, the staff member on the till clearly did not know what he was doing, so the manager kindly stepped in. I ordered my meal, and then my friend (vegeterian) ordered theirs. When ordering their meal, they asked for a McPlant as it was listed as part of the meal on the voucher, they were then told that they don't serve McPlants on weekends and the only other non-meat alternative was the fillet-o-fish. This is clearly not fair to the vegeterians/vegans that want to use this voucher or eat at McDonald's. When our meal arrived, it was luke warm and pretty much cold by the time we ate it. Furthermore, I ordered a banana milkshake and when I received our meal I was given a vanilla milkshake instead. When I went up to the till to exchange it, the same clueless staff member was persistent that I had ordered a vanilla milkshake and told me that he will get his manager once again. He then goes to retreive my banana milkshake and when he returned he rudely slammed the milkshake down and walked away. Not to mention, the milkshake hadn't been made properly as it was runny unlike the vanilla milkshake I had been given previously. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I hope that that McDonald's Oxford Road sorts it out. 1/10 experience. VERY disappointing... I repeat, my friend and I were really looking forward to a nice hot McDonald's meal after a long day... Do better.

Paid £0.90 for one slither of bacon; I don’t like complaining but approached and they said this was regular. I used to order regularly and this was not a regular portion for an extra and is really taking the piss. Not happy at all.

This snack bar is full of rats and cockroaches, we pay for a snack and the order number doesn't come out, I got a snack and they didn't want to give me a soda, WORST MC DONALD'S IN THE WORLD, the meat is still rotten 🤮

Mcdonald's have totally lost me lately. I had the double big tasty. There was nothing tasty about it. The burger patties tasted cheap and the burger slid apart while eating. I chucked half of it away. Too messy and it tasted rank. The fries were as you would expect. Could have been hotter. After they took away the breakfast roll and the triple cheeseburger from the menu I cannot forgive them. It's a travesty. I'm not loving it.

The food chefs kiss. I love there fries mostly and one day someone threw something and it made a pop and the girl who worked there yelled at everyone and was supper rude!

McDonald's has a fair number of locations in the city centre, this location on Oxford Street, is a short walk away from Oxford Road Railway Station and Central Library, so it is in a good location within Manchester's city centre. It's pretty much a bog-standard McDonald's, with a large seating area. The food quality isn't the best, even by McDonald's standards, I also find it disappointing that they use cardboard salad boxes to serve their customised burgers without a bun, compared to the white tray they use at other stores, I find the cardboard box makes the burger squashed and more difficult to eat with a knife and fork. The staff seemed friendly enough and the service was quick, they do appear to have table service at this location but I haven't used the table service here, I picked up my order at the counter and took it to my table myself. It is open 24-7 which is handy. 3* - Average McDonald's, not the best, but if you're looking for quick cheap eats in the city centre, this location and 24-7 opening is ideal.

It's so rare these days for me to go to a McDonalds, I really can't stand the place. Back in my student days any kind of hangover whatsoever was seemingly a good excuse to go to McDonalds and get some kind of awful sausage and egg McMuffin or other. Thankfully now I live in the Northern Quarter there are far better local options along the lines of the Koffee Pot that can provide with he hangover cure grease I crave without sending me anywhere near those awful golden arches. Unfortunately, last weekend I ended up at my mate's flat in Whitworth Street and on my early morning stumble home my drink-addled brain took me into this McDonalds. It was as bad as I remembered, and after making me feel better for about 5 minutes, then just made me feel a whole lot worse.

McDonalds. Pretty standard. There is plenty of seating in this busy city centre McDonald's. The staff were quick but rather dull and robotic. The new Christmas menu will be released on Nov 25th, with a few new festive be things to try.

This McDonald's is ever so familiar to me, even if just popping in to the loo on the way down to Oxford Road. Yes, I've done this in Chorlton too - I have a habit of using these restaurants as my own personal pit-stops. But hark! What's this? Rarely, I eat from them too. And sometimes you can't beat a good Maccy D's. There's a particular food that holds sentimental value for me, and that's the humble Filet O' Fish. It was my weekly treat when I was little, too little to eat a whole one so my mum would bring along her own cutlery to cut it in half for me. Many moons passed, and this dinky fish sandwich still takes me back. It's my ultimate comfort food, in fact the last time I consumed one might have been when I broke my leg. And now I know the secrets of the yellow arches, for my dearest took a McJob when he was a teenager. The steamed bun is what makes the O' Fish so awesome. Nom. What has changed over the years is that the food tastes far less artificial... but I can't quite figure out whether this is a good or bad thing, as we certainly don't come here for a health kick! However the fries are deliciously salty, the bun is decadently soft, the fish tastes a bit less processed now and the tartare sauce is as ever one that I wish I could buy in jars. Adding apple pies for 50p to our meals? Seemed rude not to, and the detox doesn't start until '12. Plus, the coffee's pretty darn good. All cheap and cheerful. If they had a less Rock FM style soundtrack (and by that I don't mean rock, but the worst of the charts these days) I'd be much happier here. It's not a bad branch as Mac's go, and when it's quiet it's delightfully peaceful. Guilty pleasure of 2011, done!

McD's is what it is. There's a definite context for it. If I want a burger I don't come here but I do if I fancy a Mcdonald's...it has its own niche. Now I'm a big believer in 2 McD's traditions... 1. The Cheeky Cheeseburger: Achieved as a snack whilst en route to somewhere else/better. Too little to fill but big enough to cure an itch. It has been known that I drunkenly purchase bags of these whilst trotting home after a few IPAs.. 2. Pimping your McD's: Are you aware of the McD's secret menu? If so... you know the fun/thrill. If not then things won't ever be the same again. The thrill is asking for the secret item.... This has a roughly 30% success rate and when achieved makes everything instantly better. The usual option is to make the items yourself. I won't spoil anything but 'The Mc Gang Bang' and the holy '10:35' burger are beautiful. Hopefully your next trip may be a little more silly....

It's very a rare for me to go McDonalds these days. It is a good excuse to go to McDonalds when you are hungover or after a night out with your friends. If do end up here during the day my brain is so fried that I can't think of anything else to eat in the city centre.

first off, the woman who was taking my order did not compliment me or make conversation, she gave me one too many chicken nuggets in my 20 mcchicken share box so now I had 21. also there was a chip underneath my table how unclean and non child friendly of a place. no offence to them but the people in there smelt of beer and weed. it was a terrible experience I advise you to stay away and I will not be going back there as I personally think it is discraceful how it smelt looked and tasted. lastly the girls in there all had caked up faces and I'm pretty sure the men in the back were inspecting each others genital parts while deep fat frying things. eww.

Much as I resent fast food chains (and McD's in particular) I still eat there sometimes, as most people do. When there's a queue here, there are often 4+ servers, who deal with people in an orderly way. The food is usually hot, and freshly cooked, but readily available. I've never waited more than a few minutes. There are cleaners buzzing around; it's clean, nicely decorated, fresh...I really can't complain about anything at all. It's only because I've just been complaining about the appalling Burger King in Picc Gardens (an awful franchise from a chain I much prefer) that makes me appreciate that this place is extremely functional and convenient.

Very popular McDonalds branch. Quite a bit of seating inside, along with one or two tables outside. Quick service mostly unless you buy something which the staff can't get to hand off the freshly made burger shelf; then you're usually waiting for a while. Clean, modern interior. This is right near uni and right at the heart of Oxford Road making it very busy at peak times with queues sometimes out the door at times.
