Me and my family has been walking in NYC for over 9 hours, and we were all getting hungry for dinner and couldn't make up our minds where we wanted to eat for dinner. We were thaink about going to eat inside a restaurant. But we all didn't feel like going to a fancy restaurant after walking all day so we all decided to come here the service was great everyone was nice and helpful. The seating inside was clean and not too crowded its was so cool and pretty where I was sitting. I could see everything. The food was just like every food u could buy at any McDonald's nothing special. It was good if I ever go back to NYC definitely coming back here.

Consistently a great dining experience! The employee's are friendly . Clean environment right in the heart of Time Square !!!

I was in NYC for the International Auto Show with a friend and stopped by this McDonald's because, well, I needed to pee like a racehorse! Turns out, the bathrooms are on the second and third floors, but you can’t get up there unless you show a receipt to security. No problem—I figured I’d grab some ice cream and handle business. Ordered a single cone at one of the kiosks (which is the only way to order at this location) and waited. And waited... After about 10 minutes, I noticed a lot of people getting their food before me, even though ice cream literally takes seconds to make. Finally, after 20 minutes of standing around, I asked the guy at the counter about my order. He was super busy but quickly got me my cone after asking the kitchen. I think my order got lost in the chaos, but hey, it happens. After that, I raced upstairs, just barely made it in time, and had to wait in another line for the bathroom. Not the smoothest experience, especially compared to my hometown McDonald's where you can literally just walk in and use the restroom without needing to buy anything. Honestly, I was ready to give this place 1 star for making me wait forever to use the bathroom, but considering how slammed they were, the guy at the counter was holding it down. I’ll give them 3 stars and might give them another shot next time I’m in NYC. Just hoping for a quicker ice cream cone and fewer bathroom hurdles!

Great location with the perfect view. Prices like every other McDonald around the state not priced gouged like other big cities. Fast service, clean and family friendly. In order to sit second and third floor you need to buy something at first might sound weird but later makes sense with the amount if people in and out.

There are no gloves being used when handling the food i watch one guy bag fries with his bare hands touch each fry he bagged- no consistent handwashing being done. But they are very polite and the food is good. Just wear gloves please!!!!!

Yes who goes to NY for Mc Donald’s? LOL well we did. The weather got bad before our flight back so we grabbed some nuggets and watched the naked cowboy in action. Kiosks take your orders. Multiple floors to sit and great views of all the lovely’s in Time Square.

I was meeting my friend, my friend ordered at this McDonald’s and I brought outside fast food. But we were denied to sit in here by security because we brought outside food on a freezing winter night even though we PAID for their food! That’s just pure ridiculous

Pros: The McDonald‘s had enough Easy-Order-Terminals to quickly place an order without standing in line. Cons: - itself created a crowd infront of the counter - there was no screen to monitor the order number therefore the employees were shouting through the room which was incomprehensible because of the surrounding crowd. - our patties were missing on the burger - we didn‘t get ketchup to the barely warm fries - the setup felt uncomfortable as there was left-overs next to our table, and everything looked unclean, the trashcan was crammed with disgusting trash A disappointing McDonald‘s experience :(

I'd give this location zero stars if I could. Two security guards. One blocking the elevator and one blocking the staircase. You cannot go upstairs to sit down or use the bathroom without a receipt. There are no seats or bathrooms downstairs only kiosks. You order at a kiosk and are given a number. The whole system is reminiscent of the DMV. I order a sprite and a bottle of water and the wait was over 45 minutes.

Next time I order from here I'll make sure to do a positive because I have great positive experiences in the morning from some but when you're asking for extra ice.. and you ask a literal worker and they look at you with a rude attitude and say yes there's extra ice but it's literally a thin single layer of ice.. it's not extra ice. Next time I'll call out their name. I'm tired of this. I'm not saying extra ice for my health dude. I'm asking for extra ice because it melts quickly and waters it down.

Upon entering. There's NO-ONE to greet you besides automated kiosk machines and the security guard in the back near the pickup stations guarding the stairway to prevent people from going upstairs to sit down. Almost every McDonald's item has been price gouged. Instead of sandwiches being 2 for $4 to which every McDonald's has on their menu. Here the items are 2 for $6 which is an almost 50% markup compared to other locations. Even other locations in Times Square and NY in general have the discounted 2 for $4 pricing but this one is price gouging customers with very high markups. The ventilation is not bad. There is air circulating but it was starting to become a tad bit humid due to the lack of AC. There's sanitizer stations available but most of them were out of sanitizer gel despite taking less then a minute to refill. True sign of sheer laziness.... The employees are NOWHERE near friendly since when asking for a replacement HOT FRESHLY MADE sandwich. I was notified I had to request a refund from corporate via a check. , Unsure if they were being sarcastic or serious but at that point I just decided it was a "total loss" and will never support this location going forward. The food was NOWHERE near fresh and lukewarm as well. The bread was also not fresh and just ate most of the chicken patties. I decided to throw the bread to the birds outside. **SEE PICS** The patties I could easily tell were "heat lamp" sandwiches since they tasted nowhere near fresh and almost hard as well. **SEE PICS**. Sadly. This is one of a few locations which DOES NOT HAVE SEATING AVAILABLE. They have an upstairs with seats and everything but according to the security guard who was guarding the stairway that's being phased out. ?????? Currently there is only standing tables downstairs near the exit with nowhere to sit and socialize plus relax for a few minutes. This location is equivalent to "get your food and leave". The overall noise level is quiet since sadly there's no one socializing nor enjoying their food since they have to stand near the exit at the standing tables just to eat. This location has suddenly became worse over the years. First with the customer service then with the numerous kiosks and finally with the lack of seating makes this location A TOTAL DUMP now.... Overall. SKIP THIS LOCATION.....

For NYC, this McDonald's is a good size -- the downstairs is mainly filled with self-order machines (plus a few standing tables), but there is a whole upstairs area for dining. The food is served fast, and there weren't any issues with my order. Even though it's located in Times Square, the decor and menu seems to be exactly the same as other McDonald's locations. And even though McD's isn't my a favorite of mine, it serves its purpose well from time to time for me -- fast food that's consistent across all of its restaurants.

Busy on a weekday night. Was easy enough to order from the kiosk and less than 2023 #96

Tons of kiosks, service approach like the DMV (number on a screen, person reiterating numbers on a microphone). Seating upstairs requires a receipt, security onsite. They're obviously a busy spot. Our order of 3 drinks and small fries took 30 minutes. NY law now requires customers to request straws, so not asking could set you back another 10 minutes to part the sea to get back to the front of counter.

I thought this was a good McDonald's. Stopped here twice for iced teas before Broadway shows. Each time it took a few minutes. It is a cool location and the bathrooms were clean. Once we split fries and they were hot and good. Security seemed pretty good. It was reasonably clean. A cheap place to sit and kill time.

Security on every floor. Clean well stocked restrooms. Prices not jacked up for location. I'm happy with this location.

The burger I had was actually just the way I ordered it, which is kind of a compliment to mcdonalds. The Ambiance is very good on the 2nd floor but the Ambiance on the 3rd and 1st floor is bad, And the Service was Fine, but the lady kept on asking everyone if there number was "707" or "535" and that was pretty annoying. Overall this mcdonalds is mediocre

First time going to a Mcdonald's with only Kiosks and a pick up window. This made for efficient distribution; however, the interior was crammed. This also made it nearly impossible to get condiments, napkins, or other necessities without going back through the front kiosk area. Workers were yelling at guests to move closer together. To be seated you had to pass a rude security officer. It was not the greatest experience; however, it was quick food, a nice escape from the streets, and clean inside.

Thanks to Yelp Headquarters another one of my reviews disappeared, I must be missing 100 by now. What's the use of writing a review only for Yelp to take it down without notice or giving a reason why ? BTW: this is my favorite McDo to pick up my breakfast, order on the App at the PABT and by the time I get here the wait is only a minute or so.

This is a two floors McD. It is also one of the super busy McD that I have ever seen. It is so packed full of people. Even going upstairs to the second floor was chaotic. When I was upstairs, I had a hard time finding a table. Yes this McD is located in Times Square. It is also very noisy in here. If you are thinking of using the washroom here than expect a wait. The washroom is located upstairs so you do need to make some sort of purchase before you can use it. There is a security guard at the bottom of the stairs checking receipts.

Ordered food at the kiosk and went to a table to have it delivered. It look a while, but table delivery is a nice touch.

The food was great. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger, Fries, and Nuggets. Service was incredible! Waiting time was 3 mins. The ambiance was amazing, there was quiet. Overall rating: 5.0 Stars

Excellent! From the first bite to the melancholy last... stupendous! My child wanted us to go here, but I was reluctant - how silly I was. The decor, the cuisine - the CULTURE! We meet so many interesting characters there like Henry the heroin man. What stories he had to tell! And the wait time! So short, just like my expectations of this place. Actual poop- do not go here

My McDouble had a flea in the cheese. I love Mcdonald's but that was disappointing. Be careful when ordering from this location!

I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese and midway through I realized the meat was undercooked, boarder line rare.

The best McD's ever. you gotta compare this to other McD's. Clean. New. Tons of ordering kiosks. Security guards galore. Get a number and staff will find you. Free WiFi. Free charging. Why diss the $1 minimum view? Instructions for the air charger so you won't look dumb. In case you don't have wireless charging, there's a vertical component that has a central disc. From the disc is a charging cable with 3 different charging interfaces. Push the disc down for it to interact with the wireless charging, make sure it turns green, and then plug in your device!

First time going to a McDonald's where the layout is just kiosks and a pickup window - seems very fitting for this location in the heart of Times Square. Dropped by late at night for a $1 soda; was pretty crowded (Halloween night), but ordering and pickup were quick. Kind of fun to see everyone in costume out after a night of partying.

Rag on it all you want. You used your own two feet to get into the place. For what they do they do it well AND in the war zone of Times Square (for the most part). We needed some kind of food in us, knew we'd chosen McDonald's and got exactly what we wanted (minus the sauce we ordered for some nuggets). I was surprised that the priced was not far off from the units out in bridge and tunnel land. Thanks for the fuel in short order.

This place is ridiculous. I ordered my food 20 minutes ago prior to my lunch break. All I get is a 30 minute break when I got to the McDonald's , which is literally 10 feet away right next-door from my job they tell me that they never received my order after waiting 10 minutes for them to call out my order, so then they have to re-order it for me and had to wait an additional 15 more minutes for them to make my order and have it ready which I had less than 5 minutes to enjoy my lunch break not to include the time to head back to work. The point of ordering online is to be able to get your food on time

Residing in the structure of what was once Toys 'R' Us Times Square, this McDonalds looks like a great concept from the outside. It's modern looking, glitzy in its own way and seemingly made to live among all the LCD screens that saturate the area. Look inside before it opens for the day (as I did one day) and the self serve kiosks, modern looking decor and spacious open area promise an interesting McDonalds experience. Sadly, the reality does not live up to the initial promise. I went to this McDonalds with a couple friends to get some quick dessert after a meal. Initially I thought this would be great. The kiosks were big and the interface was better than the ones I had used near me in New Jersey. There were a couple stations set up with (what I thought) were guys to help with the kiosks and there was a cashier station with some interesting looking desserts in a display case (including muffins I don't recall seeing at other McDonalds locations). We ordered via the kiosk and it printed out our receipt. We went to the pick up counter and waited. Very quickly we realized that the screen showing upcoming orders did not include ours. We asked an employee two times what was up and he brushed us off each time. When we finally got him to take our receipt, he took it, went to another employee, said something, didn't tell us what was going on and then threw our receipt away. So we just stood there wondering what was about to happen and all our efforts to get his attention were in vain. Finally someone popped out from another part of the counter, looking confused as we were but he had our desserts so we took them and headed upstairs via a narrow staircase (seriously, if there's ever a fire emergency here, it will be ugly). The upstairs seating area is neat in that the long counter seating has charging stations for phones with various attachment ends already built in. Kudos for being modern. However, the tables were dirty, there were some flies hovering about and for some reason the temperature went up like 15-20 degrees between the first floor and the second. It was terribly uncomfortable. Compared to the other "glitzy" McDonalds experience in the area (the one on 42 street between 7th and 8th) this was a bit of a nightmare. Bad design, bad customer service and uncomfortable atmosphere all make this a nope for me.

McDonald's biggest New York City location is in no other than Times Square, right under the lights and over three floors with lift access. It does get pretty busy, but considering that service was quite quick - they do try to push the ordering machines on you though with the staff lacking knowledge on gluten-free (for example they couldn't tell me if one of their all-day breakfast meals would be gluten-free without a bun. Shame) The store was pretty dirty, there were flies around the store and some food on the floor and around tables which didn't seem like they were cleaned other than by customers as they sit there which isn't too appetising. I just ordered a medium fries - I noticed the portion was slightly larger than what I'd get in the UK but the standard was pretty much what I was used to. The glitz and glamour of Times Square just doesn't reach this McDonald's, I think it's trying to hard to have a modern, central location and that's putting the cleanliness of the store and quality of service to second priority as they know this golden location will pretty much see them through due to the flocks of tourists which pass this store every minute. 2* - The extra star is only for location and speed of service.

Cool location and pretty fast in the food. Love the in house seating over Times Square. The same McDonald quality in a unique location.

Terrible customer service, why in the hell if you're alone and not causing trouble can't you eat at one of the standing tables surrounding the front of the entrance if the dining area is closed. Mind you no one warned customers of this before they ordered. What you have is an aggressive security guard who YELLS at you to leave. I just spent money here and I can't quickly eat my fucking nuggets. Mind you it was FREEZING COLD outside. Why they thought to close the one on 42nd street and open this up is beyond me.

They deserve no stars. Don't advertise as 24 hours if you're not open 24 hours this is the second time I walked all the way over there because the other one on 46th and 6th also advertised as 24 hours and is not open either. Now let's talk about when they are open. The food is either undercooked or burned, on the weekends' trash cans are overflowing, and the food wait time is ridiculous! They need to do better. There are limited food choices for people that work the graveyard shift and we are spending our hard-earned money the less the workers can do is prepare it properly and fast! I mean it is called FAST FOOD!!!! The only upside is the music but if we need to substitute something for good food then take the music away! McDonald's is not making me smile follow your slogan!!!

I didn't actually order anything, but I popped in to check it out. New Times Square location and the most kiosks I've ever seen in a single McDonald's . It actually looks kind of freaky but cool at the same time. It was VERY crowded and I will try them the next time I'm in the area to see if the convenience matches up with the speed of delivery. Overall, pretty cool. One neat side note about this location, is that on the roof of the building (which you can't visit) there is one of the largest electronic billboards in all of Times Square. Go across the street and sit in the plaza and check out some of the displays that pop across the screen. It's pretty wild.

Halfway through my McFlurry I see this. It's funny too because I saw the worker that handled my McFlurry not wearing any gloves, but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt...

by far the WORST McDonald's ever and I've been all over the US the service is trash the food was I've cold and the buns were hard enough to knock on the Pattie's on the Big Mac were half patties they didn't even know what was going on with anyone's order. Trash would give -10 stars if I could

That McDonald at 1528 is the worst McDonald's in times square the worker are very unorganized and have not idea what they doing I ask for a special burger and got me a swimsuit burger filled with extra sauce and suggy bun I asked for fresh I guess the two girl who was making the burger thought they was slick gave me back the same burger and that it will help me my confusing me.

Maybe if you aren't going to let people eat inside your massive 2 story building, you should put up better signs before I order food, with my kids and it's 30 degrees outside. I would have gone to any other restaurant that still allows inside seating, which is pretty much everywhere. Oh and you took forever and still screwed up my order.

SKIP! This is the new Flagship in times square with floor to ceiling glass and 3 levels of seating along with ordering kiosks up front. The concept is good BUT the actual execution is just inherently flawed. You order either at a kiosk or at the counter on the right towards the back and then proceed to the very back to pick up. They have 2 display screens that SHOULD show your order number and whether it is in process or ready. Unfortunately my order did not even show up after 30 min. I was NOT the only customer with this issue. The staff were not helpful at all and quite rude and disrespectful. There were literally about 25 of them at the pick up counter with 5 at any given moment standing idle YET they refused to even acknowledge a question about my order. They just ignored me along with the other customers who had been standing there for well over 30 min trying to figure out what happened to our food orders. Whatever happened to FAST food? I understand that there are opening day growing pains but this was absolutely absurd and the fact that the staff literally told me to stand aside and just wait - one of them even proceeded to push me to the side is just unacceptable at ANY venue - even a McDonald's. Avoid at all costs if you want to get your food.

I am an ex-employee of this location. I have a few biting words Incredibly inefficient system that would lead to a packed store full of angry guests who have been waiting for anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours for their food and would take out their frustrations on us while our abusive and power-tripping management would sit idly by and let it all happen, all the while they would insult us, degrade us and otherwise make our work lives a living hell, leading to HORRIBLE turn-over rates and constantly understaffed shifts (which lead to our overworking and high levels of stress, therefore continuing to push most people to seek employment elsewhere). The last straw was when I watched one of the GMs drive a teenage girl to the point of an emotional breakdown. a 16 year old girl on the first day of her first job. She was so excited to finally work, too. Yet Sue decided to berate and degrade her to the point that she broke down crying and got sent home. I couldn't bear to work there anymore. The stress and abuse you endure there is never worth any amount of money, much less minimum wage. Don't eat there. Don't work there. Let this business sink.

When I entered in McDonald's at 8a the cashier did not greet me once I got to the counter. She smiled and took my order and didn't greet once I left the counter. Got my check and went to the other counter to get my coffee once the manger with hair she called my number and handed me my coffee there was no eye contact. She didn't even greet me as well.

The cashier works her ass off and to be the only one ? That is beyond messed up! She was more than polite and she was quick and fast with everything. The fries were barley salted which i wasn't happy about and my cheeseburgers were cold but overall the experience was ok.

Not bad at all NYC McDonald's. We came alittle after dinner time rush and it's clean, there's security, and the staff is nice! Not what I expected at all. It's got three floors of space and tables, they deliver your food to the table. Simple and easy fast food dining. Our fries came out cold but they fixed it asap and gave us new ones, no problem. Thank you for the experience!

This place absolutely disgusts me on a personal level I went in to this McDonald's looking for a place to use the restroom. Their employees (burger bouncer) were the only thing that was good. But the rules are outrageous. They told us to buy something if we want to use the bathroom. In desperate need of the restroom, we bought apple slices. We waited for nearly 15 minutes and we still didn't get our apples. McDoNaLdS wHeReS OuR aPpLe sLiCes!!!!! I want a refund of $1.06.

I was so dehydrated and wanted to get a quick iced tea from here, BIG MISTAKE! As soon as you walk in, there are tons of self ordering kiosks. I'm ok with the kiosk concept but I don't think this is a good idea for a touristy area such as Times Square. The lines for each kiosk was so long bc no one knew what they were doing. After you finally reach a kiosk, you place your order and pay. You have to grab your receipt fast bc it just shoots out the machine like a canon. And once it hits the floor, you have to risk your fingers from getting trampled on to grab it. After that, there is more utter confusion. A group of people backed up by this hostess stand flashing their receipts around. I felt like I was at JFK waiting to go through TSA. The employees then say go to the back and wait for your number. Past the hostess stand, there was an actual counter with 2 registers with actual cashiers. The lines there were a lot shorter than the kiosk. My drinks didn't take long to come out so that was the only positive since I already wasted 20 minutes in there.

This is the most terrible McDonald I have ever been! There are too many people and the staff is so rude...the ice cream was melt and they said it was the way they made it....while.. It looks like I went to the fake McDonald and had fake ice cream before...ohh and we ordered a croissant but look like they made the croissant the way it won't be seen in the bag...a shit hole!

Worst Mc donald expirience ever, Manager was so Rude ,I use the mens bathroom,(i am a female)to change my one year old ,boy, womens bathroom line was very long. She was talking very bad words to me,Not going there ever again!

Horrible experience. My family was ordering food while I had to use the restroom . The security expected a receipt before he would allow me to enter . Need I say more , we left mid ordering a kiosk .we went to juniors, the attendants there directed me to the restroom while my family waited to be seated. Of course two different types of food services . Bottom line customer services was bottom of the tier.

I would leave 0 stars. I was insulted by an employee by saying I was dumb for going up the stairs when there was no blocks in the path other than caution signs. Terrible place disgusting

I feel sorry for tourists whose first experience with McDonald's is this place. One of the worst McDonald's experiences I've ever had. I had to tell them three times to get the drink I ordered. And the food was dry and overcooked and bland.

This location had been open about 2 weeks when we went. Filled with sketchy people at 11pm, which is not a late hour for Times Square. Police were called due to fights breaking out in the restaurant. Took almost 30 minutes to get our order, and that only happened because we complained after 20 minutes - yet the food was all cold when it got to us. We were not the only people complaining about wait times and cold food. Whatever system they're using is inefficient and doesn't work, and management doesn't seem to care. With a few smaller McD's available within a couple blocks, there's no reason to visit this one.
