I want to hate this place, it’s just in such a convenient location to grab a coffee on the go in the morning. Don’t go in, it’s super slow. Drive through is hit or miss. When you get the A squad, the line moves. Sometimes you’re inexplicably stuck there for 15 minutes not moving. If you do drive through, it’s not a question of if, but of how many pan handlers you will encounter. Sometimes they will be up to worse things as well. Hope for a fast moving line

I went through drive thru and they gave me cold old fries. I had to pull back in and go inside to get some fresh fries. Once I got inside, it took them 5 minutes to get to me so I been return the come fries for new fresh ones. Everytime I go there, it's always a problem. That's the reason for the low rating.

Ordered on kiosk and sat down, then my coworker ordered. He got his food in 3 minutes and we waited another 15 minutes for ours and never came out. So we went to the counter and they acted pissed and almost didn’t make my food and acted like they already handed out even though I had the receipt and the table number thing still. Made me feel like they didn’t want me here as a customer. Dissatisfied

Friendly staff. Nice and clean restaurant. Ordering was easy on one of their self serve kiosks. Ordered to table however they didn’t deliver to my table. Picked up my order at the counter when it was called out. Reasonable wait time for food. Food tasted wine. I was their only customer as they for some reason locked their doors so nobody else could come in. Wi-Fi worked well.

I actually came in to pick up my mobile order and I was heading to work at another location that, I didn't check the bag, I should but I never do but today I ordered two sausage McMuffins there was a special and then I ordered a large vanilla iced coffee. The girl gave me the wrong order and realized until I was at my work location. Aside of what the I was unlikely to eat it since it was not appetizing with a blue Powerade drink. Early morning come on. I don't know where to go to get my refund.

Usual McDonald's food, but service was bark and command, no good morning welcome, Nothing except pull up to the window where the food was shoved out the window to you. If this had happened only once, I can forgive; but it is a pattern here. The food is good, but the drinks are watered dow, again, a pattern here.

Tonight's service was great. From the time I started my order to the time I got my food everyone was professional first time in a long time.

McDonald's is ridiculous. The patties are so thin It seems as if they sliced the old burgers in half but kept the same buns. So instead of getting two all beef patties you're getting one patty sliced in half to make 2.

Finally a McDonalds that is clean, has excellent service, and the food looks good. There was an employee constantly cleaning up all tables and counters, WoW!!! As for the staff, extremely friendly and on point. Parking is also a plus, the have two parking lots, front and back. Employees Mari was Awesome! She went above and beyond to help, very friendly and helpful employee. Give her a Raise!!!!

Never go to the lane that's rarely open! That one alwaysssss takes forever to get assistance on, I tried it like three times and always get stuck there while 3-4+ cars goes by from the other lane. It's aggravating. The workers are a hit and miss. Sometimes the Spanish ladies are nice and some don't understand English, some are just like "yeah,yeah". The person at the intercom is always saying "anything else" after every item or word I say. Can I get a cheeseburger, "anything else" , no pickles "anything else", 20 PCs nuggets, "anything else" with sweet and sour sauce "anything else" and an iced coffee "anything else " no flavor "anything else " two Splenda "anything else" @___@ Make sure you check your order, sometimes they forget to hand your items. Beggars sometimes stand around and ask you at the intercom for a drink or food.

Extra charges on beverages when I asked what beverages are available. Really scummy they up charge on beverages all the time.

The food here is nothing special. Quarter Pounders are known for their freshness and I can tell that it's been sitting out for quite some time... Additionally, the service quality here is atrocious! Often times the drive thru is as slow as humanly possible. In my latest experience, I tried paying for my order with my McDonalds app--the cashier was visibly frustrated (as she rolled her eyes) and said, "You told me you were paying with a coupon." What? I told her no such thing. She was obviously confusing me with somebody else and, even so, would that really have been a big deal if I decided to change my payment method of choice?! Good grief. My order gets messed up all the time...sometimes I ask for no pickles, and instead I will get an unwelcome omission, like missing cheese or something. It's bizarre! I cant really speak to the ambiance because who really wants to dine-in in Oakland these days.

I went through the drive through, and the couldn't understand the voice on the speaker. I ordered a sausage McMuffin with egg sandwich. I paid and got the receipt, which had the correct order printed on it. When I got the order, I looked in the bag and saw McChicken written on the bag. So I opened the wrapper and saw it was not a McChicken, but didn't pull apart the sandwich in the car to make sure it was the sandwich I ordered. I got home to see an egg McMuffin! There goes 6 bucks and a waste of a week's worth of salt! Get it together, McDonald's!

I really can't wait to see the day where robots replace these workers. They act like they don't want to be there anyway. Maybe the robots would actually get the ice cream machine to work, since it's broken all the time. Yall tried plugging it in?

I got food poisoning. I threw up, and passed out. I really do not recommend. Please do not eat McDonald's

I live out of town. I stopped McDonald's for a small diet coke. I'm a senior citizen. The Mexican girl cashier tried to charge me $17.85 for a drink. And she and the manager thought it was funny. So she rung it up again and gave me the receipt where she overcharged me $1.00. I said just give me my money back I'll stop somewhere else. She replied sarcasticly "Why". I said because I'm uncomfortable here. If they are supposed to pay them over$20 hr. to treat customers like this I would rather deal with ROBOTS. This store has too many bad reviews. I'm making a complaint to the corporate office.

Stale buns. Why do other McD's taste so much better than this one? I swear this location is the worst. Always stale buns. Always a squooshed down burger like someone smushed it down with their hand. Our office stopped ordering lunch from this location. Its bad.. BEWARE!

I went in through drive thru and ordered a Carmel frappe and they said the machine is broken... it's been months that the machine has been broken and they don't do nothing about it...

This McDonald's is such a bummer. They constantly forget items, mishandle food and have such terrible attitudes. Doesn't matter if I order from third party service or from drive-thru, there's ALWAYS an issue. So much lack of work ethic or quality or service. I hate that this is the closest McDonald's to my house. Oddly, the one on San Pablo is not as problematic.

Poor placement of the cheese. Had they missed my sandwich any more than they did, the cheese wouldn't have made it into the box.

Soggy cold fries, messy burgers, bad service. And no girl, when you copped that attitude and said "yes there's bbq in there I put it in there myself". You didn't boo boo - you gave me ranch. So how about try not to have such a crap attitude. Tried to call and of course the number is out of service.

The workers are very rude. Especially the heavy set ladies. It's like 3 of them that work the evening shift. I paid for my order. I asked for a refill and the first heavy set lady, said that they don't do free refills. Which was a lie because I have gotten free refills from this location several times. Then they argued me up and down that the refills on the outside area are the same as the ones behind the counter. I was trying to explain that they were not. The ones that we can use to refill tasted bitter. So they just stood there like they were slow and didn't understand English. It's so annoying and frustrating because it's so simple to just give me the FREE REFILL! I don't recommend anyone to come here.

Only came here cause of location convenience. But they are slow and food is never fully cooked well. They tried to scam us from our full items ordered. They take long.

terrible in every way, customer service was terrible, food was trash, dirty store, all the employees had attitude, they keep cutting the food down more and more. paying almost double for what I usually get at another store. charging me unnecessary fees for drinks. half filled sundae cup. awful place to eat. if you want quick food in oakland, take the extra 10 seconds to drive across the intersection to jack in the box. you'll probably enjoy it a lot more.

11/10/21 My warning to you: if you are here for the drive-thru, I'd go elsewhere. Theirs is one of the toughest to navigate, and is built more like the Disneyland Autopia ride than a nice in and out thing. I mean, yeah, you will make it out, but if you rush it probably with some rim rash, or worse a dent in your door. Firstly, there are 2 entrances, but they will merge, so hope you're not the nice type cause you're gonna starve. Thankfully I am not. Secondly, the path is very tight, and many of the turns are blind and you won't be able to see how close you are to the curbs. No, I didn't hit one, but... enough times I'm pretty sure I will. Then lastly, exiting, it's the STUPIDEST THING... but they have actual stone pillars in the asphalt that again you have to navigate to turn onto the road. When making your turn, they may become blind depending on your car height and window orientation. I warned you. As for the food, I got a McRib, and................ I THINK they f'd it up. They put all the toppings on the bottom, under the meat. That's a sin against burgeranity, and illegal. Man (or lady) you got only one job....... Used the McDonalds's app for the 1st time and decided to come here. I stayed easy and chose the frozen coke and 20 piece chicken nuggets. The app was easy to use and had some good deals you don't get in-person. just remember that you can only use one deal at a time per order (or each order has to have 15 minute intervals). I ordered at home and drove to pick-up. When I arrived, I used my phone to check-in. You have 2 options to pick-up your order - go through the drive through or have them bring it out to you. I chose bring it out, but this particular McDonald's did not have any numbered parking spots, so I put in zero and decided to wait outside my car. This is when I realized that the lobby was closed, but there was a sign over the door that said pick-up here and I noticed someone was at the door. So, I went over. The person who worked there asked if I was the person with this order (she said the order), I said yes, and she said she would be back soon. In a little while she came back with my order and I was on my way. The order was exactly what I ordered and I even received a few extra sauces. And yes, it was cooked. I was glad she didn't ask me to go through the drive through which was rather busy. While I waited, a few people drove up without mobile orders, and had to go through the drive through. I don't know if the lobby was closed only this particular day or has been for awhile. But, everyone I talked to and assisted me were wonderful. I don't usually go to McDonald's, but this community one is good.

Security guard harassed a customer who was waiting me to order online for pickup The website to order was so confusing and the guard kept talking smack I said walk to Jack in the Box. Ordered extra there because they're nice

First thing I wanted to do is grab some breakfast, and the inside didn't open until 7:00 am, which they opened by 7:30 am. Totally unexceptionable and I been waiting patiently to go inside, no sign of workers having a sense of urgency to open the doors but took care of the drive thru lines instead. Also called the main office and been waiting for 20 mins to talk to a rep which is uncalled for too as well. Lots of adjustments needs to be done at this branch. Be sure to go in at 8:00 am.

This place is a hit or miss. I ordered this morning an egg mcmuffin with no meat - they cashier asks if I want ham or bacon on it. I was like no meat... how can I be more specific???? Mind you I am starving - no dinner last night. I am also running late so I take the meal and leave. I get to work and look at my sandwich and what is on it??? HAM - Why I was very specific I asked for no meat and told them no meat- both workers nodded their heads like they understood. I get it - its early no one wants to be at work but.... Here we are and you are not just getting up y'all have been there for a while. I called the number on the receipt and guess what - It is a non-working number. With a non-working number then I suppose I should not patronize a business that has no phone. I gave two stars because they were nice while they messed up my order. I will have to find another McD's to go to because this is not the first time they have either messed up my order or just been very unorganized (another story).

Very unpleasant service had used my code from the phone app on a deal free 5 piece mc nuggets or double cheeseburger if you buy ether or they didn't honor it and try to get me on my way with the management was being very rude and also mask and vaccinated or non vaccinated has been been lifted already throughout Alameda County and California why are they still making us walk in front of cars at the drive-through!

Every time I come here they are out of stuff. Like the frappes. It's annoying and they need to figure out how to make stuff work and makes me not want to come here anymore. 1 star for the friendly workers though.

It's just a McDonalds. No biggie. I did the order through the app and they have an area where you park your car and they come out to deliver the food to you. Pretty fast and convenient.

Mcdonalds is the only thing I eat, it is amazing I went there the other night had great customer service. People were really nice to me and my family. Great service

BLUF: Solid McDonalds location and very quick drive-through. Food: C I don't want to sound too critical, but it's Mcdonalds. If you have not tried Mcdonalds breakfast or their normal menu, you're not missing too much from this chain. However, there will be times after you try it that you get a little tingling feeling of wanting some more at random times like after social drinking or at 2am. Whatever the case, it should be on everyone's bucket list to try Mcdonalds, but not the wisest choice to frequent these establishments. Parking: A- I can say with certainty that I have never been to a Mcdonalds that didn't have stellar parking. Unfortunately, due to COVID, can't really eat inside right now so makes it an easy choice to use the drive-through. Price: A- Depending on what you get from the menu, Mcdonalds can add up in price. But if you stick to the Dollar Menu or smaller items, you can get a large meal for under $10 and possibly under $5. Drive-Through: A- This location had one of the quickest drive-through I have experienced. Despite a line of 6-7 cars, I was in the entire line from start to finish for about 5 minutes (including payment). Can't beat that. Overall: C+ If you're going for quality of food, Mcdonalds isn't the spot for you. If you're looking for cheap, quick and easy to-go option, then this location is your best bet for Mcdonalds.

To start things off, this McDonalds has terrible customer service! I kid you not, 30% of the time I go here, my order is messed up. Generally, I do not have a problem with that, but last Wednesday was different. First they gave me the wrong order, and since I noticed it in the drive through, I pointed it out. So reasonably, they corrected the order. Good on them. Reviewing the receipt, I realized I paid for both the wrong order and mine. To be fair, I should have asked for a refund for the wrong order so I take some responsibility, but I feel they should have also done that on their own. And guess what happened when I returned home with my food? Not all the items I ordered were in there. I rate this one 2 stars because when they get your order right, it's always good.

I would rate this zero stars if I had to. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! The manager told us we had to walk and order through the drive thru because we can't go inside. This has horrible staff and unacceptable wait time. Don't spend your time going to this location unless you want to wait 10-20 minutes waiting for your order.

Food was acceptable - they eventually got the order right even with a couple of special items (no pickles) and it was reasonably warm. The issue I had was with the drive through: I must have repeated every item in my order at least four or five times, and after that the attendant still didn't seem to understand what I was asking for... A manager or other attendant finally came on and completed the order. But this shouldn't be so hard.

This is probably the worst Mcdonald's thus far. Their hours posted online aren't correct and I know they have been informed of this because I have let them know personally. I have rode up to their drive thru multiple times at about 5:15am and it's looks open, lights on, yet i have sat at the drive thru speaker and they say nothing. They are extremely rude to say nothing, and it's false advertisement to keep having 24hrs for hours of operation and that's not true. To many time have I had issues regarding the quality of food and service and I'm done! Whomever owns this particular place gives McDonalds a very bad name.

Pls check your order when using drive thru, I I order Spicy crispy chicken sandwich meal, I got chicken nuggets and fries with drink,only, where is my sandwich, I don't think the staffs can read well.

Very bad experience. Loooooong wait then I got my order - I did not look in the bag and did not get the Large CarmeL FRAPPE . . For which I paid . .. I spent more than 45 min at home on phone trying to get help from MCDONALDS . . . The actual store phone number is disconnected.. just got a time consuming disrespectful run around . . . and am cheated out of the frappe I paid for... AVOID MCDONALDS.. they do NOT respect their customers...... Cheated in McDonalds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went at 11:30pm Sunday got a filo a Fish I guess at this hr doesn't come with lettuce and pickle and whole slice of cheese got also a sausage egg McMuffin so hard I just ate sausage cheese and egg didn't even bother with the fries or bread but at this location can u blame them didn't receive my 1.47 in change but that What I get in Oakland customer service

This is a recently remodeled location, and it's fairly nice for a McDonald's. It's interesting to watch the gentrification process, even the McDonald's are getting nicer! I happened to be in the neighborhood, and needed to use the bathroom, and of course, McDonald's came through. Since I used their bathroom, I felt obligated to get something, so I got an Egg McMuffin value meal. I'm not quite sure what happened, but I swear Egg McMuffins were a lot tastier 20 years ago. Although it was OK, the English muffin was a bit stale. The hash browns were OK, but they'd be a million times better (and healthier!) if they were fried in beef tallow like God intended. Hey McDonald's, bring back the beef tallow! The Fries were the best when they were fried in glorious beef fat! And don't even get me started about the fried apple pies. No wonder the brand has gone downhill. Ah but I digress. This is a recently remodeled McDonald's in a gentrifying part of town. It's fine for what it is, but it could be GREAT if they fried everything in beef fat.

Please note: The drive-through on the weekends is often down to one lane and it's gets pretty backed up. So go early...

Before the pandemic this location was an easy 4 star. Since the shutdown service is so slow. I wonder if they have a severe labor shortage after the management screwed over the employees by handing out dog diapers instead of real facemasks which lead to the longest strike in McD history.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I clog my arteries with their food and their attitude. This kid taking my order asked me what I wanted, gave me complete silence then, asked me to hold on when figured maybe he was just waiting for me to finish, I continued with the rest of my order, then he gave me a total amount that was way too low. I asked him if he got the whole order. He said no, then had me hold on again. He's not new, because I've seen him here before, so it's not like he doesn't know how to work the register. When he gave me the go-ahead, I started to complete my order, and he was like "we're starting over" I was like "I've already tried to give you this order twice". To which he laughed. Then he was like "we're starting over", and when I tried to give him my order a third time, he kept cutting me off saying "can we proceed?" over and over. With the amount of attitude he had, you'd think he was paying for my meal. I finally said forget this, drove to the window, gave him a piece of my mind, and left without ordering. It's not worth it.

employee Jordan is trash doesn't know how to take orders doesn't know how to talk to customers children or women deserves to be fired immediately gets frustrated because he doesn't know how to do his own job trying to say what he can't do when he the one take orders what an lame excuse for a worker he also couldn't even take the lady order the was next in line because he didn't even know how gtfoh why is he employed at this place when can't use basic skills management will be firing him shortly

I just left this location on my lunch break just wanted to get a large Sprite didn't think I need a receipt for just a Sprite, well I did of course when I get about 2 blocks away I take my first Sip and it's nothing but carbonated water no Sprite syrup whatsoever,  I don't know why no one's monitoring that or even checking it you  in the morning or when the lunch rush starts just to make sure this doesn't occur,  I am so annoyed and of course I don't have time to go back and ask for a refund or a new drink because then I will be late returning from my lunch break, I want to know do they depend on customers to tell them when the soda syrup is gone and their carbonated beverages or do they actually have someone on staff monitoring this?

Sometimes you have that McDonalds crave. My wife and i pulled up to the drive through and placed the order. Eric helped us who was very nice. We ordered some twenty piece nuggets, burgers and stuff. I requested Eric if they could make the entire order fresh and that I would pay first. Pull around and park and then enter and announce myself about my order. The store manager (latina, around 5'2" tall, 220 pounds, black hair) screamed to me (not tell me in a nice way) that "WE DON'T DO THAT!" I want someone from Corporate to call me to discuss things further. Because that is the service your stores do and treat to your clients. Andrew 4157.760.0565 You ask if I should post a photo...? I can go back and take her photo. The only reason to do this is because NONE of the employees wear a name tag. Not even the manager of the store. That is pretty sad.

Drive through for a Filet'O Fish combo. Missing fries. Back in line and I'm told it was not their fault. Sh*t, it ain't my fault!

I. Love. McDonalds. Yes I know McDonalds is bad and I have watched Supersized Me...but I don't care!! I haven't had any bad experiences at any McDonalds yet but there was a couple times when they forgot to give me napkins and/or straws....but it's okay. I'm not tripping. Depending how I feel...if I'm feeling guilty, I'll order a #1 (Big Mac MEAL) with medium fries and a coke. The coke definitely hits the spot after you're done with your burger. Lol. I think I'm going to go get a Big Mac after work now...lol.

I went to this McDonald's today ordered a quarter pounder with cheese. The sandwich look fine on the outside but I bit into tge sandwich there was a entire piece of crumble paper with cheese on top of it. I believe it was purposely done. How do you miss such a thing making a sandwich? I did receive a refund but it is the principle of the situation.

This McDonald's has had so many disturbing issues surrounding COVID-19. I wish the site could be scraped and some developer start from scratch with a brand new mixed use high density development. Look up the issues before coming here unless you want to risk getting covid. Two major outbreaks of COVID here.

This McDonalds is the worst EVER. This location has 2 drive through order machines. I arrived at one as another person was already ordering at the other. The employee ask me to hold on. After about a minute they say," Ok go ahead." I give them the full order and then they say hold on again. I could hear them playing with their co-workers in the background. Another car drives up and orders before me at the other machine so I explain this to the employee over the order machine and they say go ahead. I finished my order and after paying and waiting behind the car that was served before me, the person filing the order left out my sundae. I am at home with no sundae and can't believe this just happened. In addition, I received a large soda and no straw. After tasting the soda, the syrup mix is off so it tasted like soda water. Horrible SERVICE, don't waste your time.
