I can't judge the food, service or atmosphere because this McDonalds is not open 24 hours or even until midnight. It's 11:50 and it's a ghost town around here. Post accurate hours. Not wasting my time here anymore.

Nice Outside dining space. The store is decorated with the M sign flag outside the structure. However, the toy of the happy meal is sold super fast as they might not get refills anymore of those popular toys.

Food was good. I only got 2 cheese burger meals. When food was ready, they forgot the drinks. I went to ask for them and it took them a while to even acknowledge that I was there along with 2 other costumers. It's not crazy busy as I'm seeing the drive thru almost empty. Look I'm just saying that if you getting payed about $23 an hour, I would expect more.

The last two times we have gone through the drive thru using the app the French fries have been cold. Today, before opening the package I asked the gentleman handing us the food if the fries were hot and he said, "Yes, we just made them." I opened the package and the fries were lukewarm to cold. It is very frustrating paying as much as we do for fast food only to get it substandard. Needless to say we won't be going back to this McDonald's.

Service was great. I had issues with my McD app but the person at the counter was quick to take care of the issue. Food came as expected. This location is extremely busy during lunch time so, make your order with plenty of time to spare. Nice staff. Good food. Parking can be an issue during lunch.

Order was completely wrong. Gave me a strawberry smoothie when I ordered a strawberry shake. Hot chocolate was not chocolate at all it was just hot 1% milk

One of the worst McDonalds ever and that's pretty bad. Lunch time they will send you to the waiting area because they never get the food made fast enough. I went to the drive in at 9:30 tonight, no one in line. I ordered a shake, very simple. I sat in the drive through and watched the lady look at me then sweep the entire food prep area and slowly go and dump the waste in the can all the way across the store. She comes back into the drive thru area and looks at me kind of annoyed that I am there waiting for her. She grabs a cup, puts her fingers in the inside of the cup then makes the shake for me. She then handas me the shake with a fake smile and says nothing. Needless to say I tossed it immediately. The people who work at this store are terrible. I understand these are pretty much the starter jobs for college kids and such but if this is how the business runs then maybe an entire re-staff is in order. There was a time this location had no ice cream machine for weeks and was also closed randomly for days on end. May want to cut your losses McDonalds and close this one!

I usually don't bother reviewing fast food places since the experience is pretty standard unless something really bad happens that needs to be changed. But I wanted to give credit to this McDonald's because they actually made my mobile order pickup super easy. Sometimes my family orders for me and just gives me the code. Other locations gave me issues like insisting the phone that placed the order needs to be physically there, or simply claiming they can't find it in the system despite me showing a screenshot with confirmation of payment, etc. This location didn't give me any hassle at all. I gave them the code, they grabbed my order, made sure everything was right, and I drove off. It was late at night, hardly anyone was in the drive-thru, and the lane was super clean. I also liked that they had a real person taking my order instead of that AI voice some locations use now, it just felt more efficient and less awkward. It's a small thing, but when you've had enough frustrating experiences elsewhere, you appreciate when a place just makes it simple. Not exactly a 5-star experience, but definitely a solid one with no complaints. Typically I would rate fast food restaurants 3 Star if it was just standard service, but I'll give them a 4 Star for just making it easy.

Conveniently located right off the freeway and near my hotel, this McD is nice. It is one of the larger ones. The decor is modern. The place is clean. I placed an order through the app. The food wasn't ready when I arrived. Service was very good though. I made another order through the app for the 6.50 big Mac combo and it was ready within minutes. The only thing is, my teens did not like the chicken nuggets nor the fries. I will say that they were right.

I'm a sucker for the adult happy meals that they started to re-release. I love this particular location because it's not busy, there's a lot of parking stalls, and they have an outdoor eating area. I'm not sure why the ratings are very low here. All my experiences have been positive so far.

Beware: UNEXPECTED CLOSURES. Mobile App - You can place orders completely fine only to be met at the store with: Drive Thru - Closed. Front Doors - Closed. Came at peak lunch time 12 PM on a weekday with loads of cars parked in Mobile Order trying to figure out what in the world is going on. Yeah, I wouldn't trust coming here during your lunch hour. Go somewhere else unless you want to sit in your car and figure out where to eat and starve.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich-I can't even MAKE THIS STUFF UP. The photo speaks a million words.

An AI voice will ask you a question and then no one will answer at 4am even though they are open. Really inconvenient at 4 am when trying to find somewhere to eat. Drove up to the window and there was one employee with no headset on

Literally not open 24/hours whatsoever. N the fucking automated message still on even after no one's in the restaurant so we were talking to the robot for literally ten mins cuz people don't wanna do they job. CHANGE THE HOURS STOP FALSE ADVERTISING. Do better.

I come here occasionally to order takeout since this McDonald's is on my way home. I used the McDonald's app to order so that I can get deals, such as free fries and buy one get one free. Also I don't need to leave my car and can just wait at the curbside for my order. With the heavy foot traffic at this location, I am surprised that it is always very clean when I go in and pick up orders sometimes. This location is busy during breakfast and lunch time whenever I visit. My order was always assembled quickly and double checked. The staff is always courteous. Really don't understand why there are so many negative reviews when the restaurant looks to have good business. By the way, they are currently short staffed and encouraging patrons to use the automated order machines. I recommend to use the McDonald's App.

Burger was thrown together. I had to take it apart but could not fix it correctly due to sauce only on a small part of the burger. Fries were ok, sprite ok.

Ordered a McMuffin and the biscuit was hard. Orange juice was watered down to save money and frappe had hair in it. Very slow service and even when my orange juice was replaced it was still a little watered down. Bad location.

I got the 2 for 6 sausage mcmuffins and 2 hashbrowns. Tell me why they charged me $7 for 2 hashbrowns and yet I only received 1? The 1 I did get was horrible and cold. I was in little of hurry for work but this was disgusting and ridiculous

Never a problem with the correct order. Food is always fresh and hot. Usually I do carry out, or order drive through via the app, but the interior is always clean and orderly. Team members are always in motion and engaged, including managers. The only downside can be other guests, coming up to me to complain about their orders never being correct (as if that will help) or leaning against the counter in front of soda fountains texting so that others are blocked. Fast food is what it is. These guys are solid, and I am thankful they are nearby when I need them.

We always enjoy their breakfast sandwiches for a quick meal when we are in a hurry. The only drawback these days are that the food isn't cheap in price like it used to be back in the day.

No McPlant burger as advertised on the Internet at this location. No vegan food, no heart healthy meals, only artery clogging animal based food disappointing, left hungry.

The posted hours here are WRONG, please update. Also the posted written hours on the doors are WRONG! Drive through was closed off and the sign says use drive through because inside is closed due to being short staffed?!? Maybe this location needs to be shut down or change the hours to account for being short staffed, possibly opening at 7am instead of posting that they are open at 5am but really aren't.

Terrible service at McDonald's. The staff was unprofessional and slow, and the order was incorrect. Really disappointing experience! Food was cold ...

First chance with this store, shame on you. Second chance, shame on me hoping the franchise owner would try to improve after the last several years of seriously bad reviews. To the franchise owner, you either don't care or sorely lack experience in managing your store and your employees.

Clean restaurant and kind and responsive employees. I go here often and have pretty much never gotten my order wrong. Service is fast and any mistakes are quickly corrected. One of the best McDonald's I've been to :)

This is a modern adult-oriented McDonald's location (no playground) that's right off the I-805 and in an area dense with office buildings. At lunch on work days it can get pretty busy, but at most other times you can have the dining room mostly to yourself (but not the drive thru). There has been turnover here in the staff like with many small businesses as of late. Still a nice McDonald's to visit. Recommend using mobile order or the kiosks in the store because most McDonald's ignore the cash register these days, and this location is no different.

My order was 2 McChicken sandwiches. Both were cold. I live 5 minutes away. I asked for 4 Sweet Teas with 4 creamers in each of them. They put no creamers inside so they mix. Then they only give me 12 creamers? 4*4 is 16 not 12. Absolute worst service. Went in at 6:30ish on Friday night. You should go to the McDonalds near Westonhill. Dont go to this one.

Very understaffed and they definitely show it with their attitude towards customers unfortunately. They walk right passed you even if you need something

We were there this am. The person taking our order didnt give us a chance to add additional items and kept cutting us off everytime an item was selected asking "is that all?". Then we were asked to pull over and wait about 5 minutes. Got home, and we are missing a breakfast sandwich and there were no utencils or condiments for our son's pancakes. This McDonalds is usually understaffed and slow and not to mention service is not good.

A typical McD's, with one exception....in drive-through, wife ordered a kids cheeseburger meal, which was excellent. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich meal...good fries, but sandwich was a slab of chicken between two pieces of bread. ZERO sauce, ZERO pickles. Nicely done.

There was a hair in the fries. The shake machine was broken and food was cold. Will not be returning.

Worst ever. Christian or Kristian at drive-thru. I'm placing my order, he can't hear me so he asks me to speak up. I speak up and now he's claiming I'm yelling at him. While trying to place my order, I asked him what's in the Big Mac, he rudely replies "everything everything is in there". He then proceeds to show me the Happy Meal toy. Im so confused at this point. He got so upset he punched the plastic screen in between us like he was trying to hit me. He then threatens to fight me outside. The manager is just as useless. All she says is to call corporate office. I plan on writing to corporate office.

Its McDonald's. I automatically check if they got the order correct at every McDonald's that I ever go to. It's not In and Out, it's not The Habit, it's not Red Robbin, it's not any other burger place. It's McDonald's. Expect the same food taste and expect to treated like you're eating at McDonald's.

Tried to order the grimace shake by itself and some stupid girl at drive thru said it's not allowed to be ordered by itself, has to be with a meal. Never heard of this in my life

Date of visit: January 3, 2018 - and first review of my 2018 Yelp 100 Challenge! So, my first review of 2018, and you're probably wondering why it's for a McDonald's location. Well, not only is it cleaner than most other locales (no doubt due to the biotech clientele that's in the area), as of this writing, they still had the McRib! Plus, their Dollar Menu had finally gone live... My order of the McRib combo along with a $2 two-piece Buttermilk Chicken Tenders filled me up quite nicely; the McRib patty was pretty tender and not too messy with the barbecue sauce, and McD's has a winner with those crispy Buttermilk Chicken Tenders (especially with the new Signature Sauce). I almost hate to admit it, but the venerable Chicken McNugget now has a new contender! What makes this McD's location memorable is that it recently went through an remodel and upgrade... and by that, not only were there digital touchscreens on a couple of the booths where one can play games, there's also digital kiosks where one can place their order. While nice and flashy, it also means no ordering at the counter any more - meaning that the restaurant can get very quiet during off-peak hours. And with no music or TV on for ambiance, the silence can be disquieting (especially as this location is a bit out of the way). Out of the two McDonald's locations in Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley, this one is my favorite. Make sure to do those customer surveys on your receipt, as they're good for a FREE McDouble!

Went through the drive-through today. Opened my sandwich on the highway and this is what I saw. Not to mention they screwed up the order.

Bad customer service manager was very rude to several customers including myself... just because you're busy doesn't mean you have to be rude to people coming in to grab food... Bad Look for someone who's supposed to set the example

Says it's open until 11:30pm on Friday. Got here at 11pm after a very long drive to the hotel and it was most definitely closed.

People are friendly but there food is horrible! I will admit I am picky but I always am polite and wait for my food... I figured the first time in ordering egg whites and me getting a regular egg was just a mess up...NOPE! I ordered a Mc Muffin w egg whites and cheese ONLY and got a regular Mc Muffin w bacon and WHOLE egg! Not only did this cost me MORE money but time away from work to wall back down to Mc Donald's to show them the pictures and tell them what happened. The "manager" on duty Jac said he was sorry and that's all he can do!!! Don't think I will be going back!

Been to this McDonald's too many times due to its location and it has really gotten bad. 15min to get food. Staff hate their jobs. Food constantly wrong. I am done. Will see if reviews/management gets better, until then... Jack in the box next door is amazing in comparison

We ordered $30 worth of food. One item was a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle, which is already overpriced at $6.19, but then they give me a chicken filet on the McGriddle bun... WTF is that? I genuinely do not understand how that even happens. McDonald's messes up once again. Phone number also doesn't work to be able to call and let them know.

ordered on 10/18 @ 4:40PM. by far the worst mcdonald's i've been to. as i requested ketchup & mayonaise (mayonaise in a box, so i can have something to mix my sauces in), i heard an employee say "there's packets... complicated ass". however, i didn't even receive my ketchup with my mayonaise as requested. i had to wait for "fresh french fries" in the pick up parking spot since i requested it "fresh", yet it wasn't; fries were dry and tasted like they've been sitting there for a while. i confronted the lady that brought me my food and informed her that they should keep their voices down because people can hear from the drive-thru window and that they should work on their service; all she responded was "alright" and walks away. service is not the best at this location. they need more respectful employees.. no matter how small or big the complication is.

THE FRIES AND NUGGETS ARE WARM AND FRESH !! What more can a girl ask for?! We came here on a Sunday and there was only one other customer inside the restaurant. We ordered immediately and got our food a few minutes later. McDonald's has an app now that has rotating deals. There is a limit to one coupon per transaction but that's okay! There's a drive through for those who would prefer to stay in the car or plenty of parking outside the lot.

The parking lot for this place was kind of tucked up on a hill, so it's not quite visible from Mira Mesa Blvd. I'm not sure what was going on, but that parking lot was practically empty even though that lot was shared with other restaurants and businesses. There were a few customers inside, but it was pretty quiet. There were no cashiers at the counter with signs suggesting that customers use one of the kiosks to place an order. I had no problems since I placed my order on the mobile app. They appeared to be shorthanded as I only saw 2 employees and they were scrambling around the entire time trying to fulfill each order.

Best McDonalds on a repetitive basis. It's amazing how fresh our orders have been. The food looks like the picture! Great job to the evening team at this location. I'm lovin it - thanks

I went through drive-through ordered a quarter pounder with cheese in a 10 piece nugget asked for barbecue sauce and a small fry. I told the lady four times I wanted a small fry. I go through the drive-through get my food what do you know no fry and no barbecue sauce. I had to go in and get my barbecue sauce. They do not even put my fry on the order. I'm done with this circus. If you don't understand English find another job

Never really left a review for fast food restaurants, but based on my one off visit to this place, it really deserves a better rating. Probably one of the cleanest McDonald's I have seen. Food and service were the usual. Two decent tasting burgers for only $3 definitely calls for more than a 3/5.

After an evening of nearly no sleep in preparation for a day trip to Disneyland, my mind and body needed a pick me up in the form of a McCafe coffee from McDonald's. The one nearest was next to the highway so we decided to stop by for some coffee and grub to get ourselves going on the day. There was a special on sausage McMuffins with egg so we got a pair of those with our coffee. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with the sandwiches and try really hit the spot. However, both of our coffees were terrible. My friend's cappuccino was horribly watery and my hazelnut iced coffee was so under filled that there was nearly an inch of lip on the untouched cup. I found it too much of a hassle to complain about it there since we were on a very tight time table, so we took off and headed toward happier places. In fact, it would be toward the "happiest place on Earth". My only other experience with this McDonald's was having to sue them over an accident where a ceiling tile fell on me and dumped a half gallon of water on my laptop, essentially destroying it. While the staff was helpful back then, this particular visit was less than satisfactory. Fool me twice, shame on me. I definitely won't be back. Food: 5/10 Service: 4/10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 5/10

Not a consumer of McDonald's fast food. Not for me. Just a health choice. Love their coffee though and the really fast service. Not sure if they're trying to get rid of me or not (lol). More often then not my coffee is waiting for me at the drive-thru window. Keep up the speedy service.

My first time writing a review for any McDonald's but this one was by far the best drive thru experience I've ever received. On some mornings, I don't have time to make breakfast before work so I would come here to get a sausage egg mcmuffin, from ordering to receiving the food, it took about literally 3 minutes. My food was still hot and fresh! I was fairly impressed with how quick they are. Also if you have the McDonald's app, it's BOGO breakfast sandwhich and other good deals!

Came by yesterday afternoon for 2 for 5 bucks, but it was over last week. Ended up, I ordered a fish sandwich, and a mango pineapple smoothies. McDonald's fish sandwich is 1 of our favorite one. It tasted good as usual. The mango pineapple smoothies was just OK. cashier: quick. price: around 10 bucks for 2.

Service was okay. Food was good though. Seemed a little lonely in there. Not a great place to eat in. The building looks nice.

This McDonald's does not except EBT cards in support that. Secondly, it is very very small and the wait time inside and in the drive-through is three times longer than normal. The staff is nice but that is the best part

I really don't like writing Yelp reviews on fast food restaurants. I'm not dining there for the perfect steak, or service, etc. It's fast food. I get that. But about 75% of the time I go to this location, something is wrong. Yesterday, my wife and I went into drive-thru around 9 p.m. We ordered two large shakes, and a soda. We found out the shake machine, and none of the ice cream was working. Well, a few months ago, their ice cream wasn't working. A few months before that when I was inside, the soda machine wasn't working or something. So, I merely order my large soda, wait in a long line at drive thru (not sure why it was so long at 9 p.m.), and when I get to the window, I'm sitting there. For about one minute. Nobody at the window. Then a person shows up and starts pouring my drink. How is this procedure the way to do things? "fast" food should be fast!! This is ridiculous. And, I hadn't even cared that they gave me the wrong soda the last time I was there, but that happens at this location a lot, too. There's a Chik Fil-A across the street. If another mistake happens, I'll never return to this McDonald's again. Get it together, guys.
