The 17 Best Asian Dessert Spots In NYC

"When we walked into this tiny Bensonhurst dessert shop and smelled durian, we immediately knew we were in for a good time. For fellow enthusiasts of the fragrant king of fruits, we recommend the creamy, blended Durian Supreme, a tong sui loaded with tiny tapioca pearls. The taro balls are housemade, and Me-Do’s refreshing ice jellies are their bestsellers in the summer heat, but our favorite menu item here might be the snow white base—a lightly coconutty ice cream-like pudding—topped with fresh mango and purple glutinous rice." - molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim, will hartman, willa moore, neha talreja

Where To Eat in Bensonhurst's Chinatown

"There are a lot of Asian dessert shops in Bensonhurst. Me-Do is located directly across the street from one of the most popular—the often-crowded Mango Mango—and it's just as good. There’s only one table inside and two on the sidewalk, but all of Me-Do’s menu items are easily available to-go. Get the Durian Supreme, a tapioca and purple rice dessert packed with fresh, fragrant durian. You can add ice cream, but there’s enough going on without it. To satisfy your stranger cravings, they also have startlingly detailed sleeping bear mousse cakes in flavors like lychee, strawberry, and mango. " - carina finn koeppicus, neha talreja

Google
I’ve never been to the store in person, but I’ve ordered delivery many times. This was my first time trying the mango flat noodles dessert. The noodles were soft and thin, and the mango paste was thick and very rich. I’ll definitely order it again!

Vicky C.

Google
Very small store front and only 2 seats in store and 2 seats outside, but it is too cold to sit outdoor. I got the mango coconut ice jelly to-go. The dessert is loaded with Taro ball, red bean, coconut jelly, ice jelly, sago, mango, coconut milk ice. The taro ball is the dense and chewy type which is good. Coconut milk ice at the bottom. Ice jelly on its own is bland and very light, but I like the texture and it goes well with coconut milk. The mango is sweet and slightly tart. Sago is cooked well, has nice chew. There is a note in store stating the price is a bit higher (~.5 to a dollar) than the listed price on the flyer.

Google
Wow, are the reviews buggin or what? I came here with my best friend late at night hoping for a nice little indulgence. However, every single thing we bought was a complete letdown. And we spent over $50 in total... The red bean soup wasn't viscous enough (too watery). The bubble tea was straight up milk with boba and brown sugar. The waffle just wasn't good.

Google
I ordered combo B, which states $23 but I ended up paying >$27. Understand they put a notice about price raise; however, since the delta is >10%, they should update their prices on the menu, in my opinion. The durian desserts ended up just so-so and the amount of durian is incomparable to the price I paid. I’d also recommend the owner to add more details about the dessert as more than half of the durian dessert I got is shaved ice, which I don’t really expect. The chicken wing tastes ok though. In nutshell, $27 for 3 items are not too bad. But as I say, the amount of durian could be more when it comes to a durian themed dessert. There’s only 1 table & 2 chairs setting in the store; non-kids friendly. Customers usually order take out. Do see the promotion of online first order discount (could be an incentive for first time customers)

Google
This is our second time getting this and it’s so good! Normally we would go to mango mango for dessert but I’m honestly not a big fan of mangoes so it was nice that this spot was across the street and had a lot of varieties of shaved ice/cold desserts that didn’t contain mango. Would highly recommend this spot!

Google
Got mango sago with coconut milk tonight - it was so refreshing & delicious! I’ll definitely be back for more — great summer treat!

Google
This dessert place is cheap and affordable! It is cheaper than mango mango (next-door). I had the glutinous rice with Snow White and mango and mango mochi! It is a much try when you go to 20 AVE.

Andy Qiu

Google
Genuinely impressed by their Taro Bubble Tea. I had to write the review as soon as I got home. The perfect amount of sweetness in the drink (no alterations) and the tapioca pearls. I usually don't like tapioca pearls but I couldn't stop chewing these. I also got a Mango Sago and it is very fresh and flavorful!

Yelp
Solid Chinese dessert stall, no sit in take out only. Prices are fair, have cash on hand because they charge a 3% fee with card. Must tries are the waffle and their puddings. The waffle is a mochi like textured waffle with a sugar crystal coating, absolutely delicious! Their puddings, which are usually premade in a small cup are creamy and flavorful, the Earl grey is my favorite. If you're feeling spontaneous try their dessert milk noodle, sounds strange but it's strangely addicting.

Yelp
We stopped here after hanging out in Coney Island and having dinner, with a desire for a little something sweet. Me-Do was the closest open place, with tasty looking desserts and it did nit disappoint. We arrived close to closing time, but we were welcomed and answered questions about any of the lovely confections in the case. We were so torn, we stood there, babbling through the rationalization of choices. We decided on Thai tea and Ube crepe cake slices, to sample both flavors between us. Both were airy, fresh, flavorful and lightly sweetened. I would definitely have them again.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spot for a cake. I would come and get a matcha crepe for my family birthdays. The price is good compared to other places. The service is good.

Yelp
Went here with some others after a dinner a good while ago. We sat down though there wasn't much room and they were still some takeout and delivery orders. I got the Durian Supreme ($9.95) which was pricey but pretty tasty. I would say that the durian flavor wasn't as strong as the one at Mango Mango and there wasn't as many pieces and there was also similarly a pretty big clump of black sticky rice though I found the rice here better as the one at Mango Mango had a bit of an off-putting texture. The Mixed Fruit Sago ($6.25) whose mix consisted of mango, watermelon, and cantaloupe is available either with mango juice, coconut juice, or snow white juice for a buck more. I think was a better deal and a bit tastier. There was also a Passion Fruit Mille Crepe Cake which was alright. The fruit topping was good but I found the crepe cake texture a bit off. Dessert here was alright. The menu is similar to Mango Mango but I found their quality a bit higher whether it was the durian quality or the amount of mango and especially with the crepe cake. Alright spot though the woman in front was very friendly.

Yelp
My review is based on the milk puddings pictured on the top, my friend bought a bunch for a party. Firstly, I think this is awesome for parties since they're all individually packaged, easy to share and eat on your own, it came with disposable mini plastic spoons. My fav flavors were the earl grey and sesame, the matcha was good too. The earl grey tastes like milk tea, the sesame flavor was bold and the matcha wasn't too sweet. The Thai milk tea tasted a bit bitter for me and the pandan tasted artificial. I would buy the earl grey and sesame again!

Yelp
Great place to go if you're craving dessert! Also an alternative to mango mango right across the street when they're closed or super busy. Got their mango sago with taro balls.

Yelp
Love this little desserts place! Whenever I'm craving for something sweet, (but not too sweet, because I do not have a sweet tooth), I'd think of this place. Just like last night, we had an early dinner at home, and then I was craving for desserts. Husband and I drove 5 miles down to Me-Do, and ordered the following: 1) Kamquat Lemon Tea with Aloe - Drank this on the ride home, super refreshing, it's sooo good! 2) Durian Supreme - if you're a durian lover, help yourself and order this! 3) Mango Pomelo - there's nothing not to like about this dessert. 4) Glutinous Rice w/ Snow White and Mango - YUMMIE! Highly recommended! Do yourself a favor and come here after any meals, it'll make your day! I promise! Tips: Call to order first. P.S. They have changed their cold drinks cups since my last review. Now they have the cover sealed cups where you'd need to poke your straws onto them in order to drink, if you know what I mean. Happy Me-Do, everyone!

Yelp
I'm genuinely surprised by all the rave reviews because I had a terrible first (and last) experience with Me-Do Desserts. My boyfriend surprised me with a Me-Do Desserts delivery, and I was so excited to dig in because everything looked great. I started with the waffles and ice cream. I don't usually care for waffles, but this was decent. I liked how they packaged the fruits and ice cream separately. He also got me three milles crepe cakes- matcha, Oreo, and strawberry. They tasted really bad and powdery. Something was off about them flavor-wise, but the strawberry was probably the better of the three. I don't think I'll be giving this place another chance. However, delivery was very quick.

Yelp
For dessert, decided to order crepe cake with my colleagues while looking for desserts. I was excited to find out that they had black sesame crepe cake as it is not easy to find one nearby. Wish the cream was little softer though (because it was frozen before). Anyways, I enjoyed the cake, and will try other flavors in the future.

Yelp
Delicious desserts and sweet workers too! My friend and I wanted to get mango mango but it was closed so we saw me-do right across the street and decided to try it. Best decision ever!! We both got the mango sago with rice balls and were blown away. You can tell the fruit was super fresh and the dessert itself wasn't super sweet. It's a small shop with only one table inside and two tables outside but for the quality of dessert you get here -- totally worth the visit. Highly recommend and will definitely come back here!! Prices are also very affordable :)
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite desserts of all time! I'm visiting NY right now and I made it a mission to come here to order the glutinous rice with Snow White and mango. It is so good. The texture of the rice is perfection. Flavor, sweetness is all perfectly balanced and I just can't get this level of quality anywhere else. I definitely like this glutinous rice with Snow White and mango over mango mango's version of it as well. I also remember that months ago, I would order this literally every week!

Yelp
I like this place but I think they charge slightly more than at similar places in the area. This can add up. The desserts are the same recipes as in the other Asian dessert places but to me it always feels like they are missing an ingredient or two. The portions, especially to-go ones, might be smaller than expected based on pictures. A plus is this place is open late, a minus is it is often closed in the afternoon.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
This is usually my go to spot if I am around bay parkway. The snow durian with taro ball and durian supreme is my all time favorite. I was around the area on a Saturday night and was craving for some sweets so we picked up the snow durian with taro ball, coconut glutinous rice with taro ball, and Oreo Mille crepe cake. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to use the 10% check-in offer and was told that it doesn't work anymore and should've been removed on Yelp. However, I was still satisfy with the dessert in the end.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Oh my, the mango juice with Snow White is so addicting. I don't even know what's in it but who cares? It's absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend it. The rose mills crepe cake was tasty but nothing special. It is priced lower than the average crepe cake so definitely worth a try!

Yelp
bad service and sometimes there is kids interrupting the order and the food is a bit overpriced

Yelp
Just out of convenience we decided to just drop in for a late night dessert run. It gets really quiet at during close to their closing hrs as we were the only ones in the place. Small but neat seating area. We dine in and ordered the following to eat in: Mango and pomelo sago soup- was ok. Too little mango and the sago were clumped together as it gave me a feeling of nit being fresh. Durian Supreme- i think this was the most expensive desert on the menu at $9.95. Was only ok for the price. Not enough durian for the price and a scoop of black stick rice could've replaced for more durian. We bought two other items to go for our friends: -passion fruit crepe cake- he says was good for $5 comparable to lady m. -durian pudding- came in a cute little plastic milk jar. Wish it was glass though $3. She said it was more of the milk taste and less of the durian taste. All in all. A better location for a late night desert run but why not go the extra mile for better quality and less expensive desert at Let's Desert on Bath Ave? Their durian soup is so tasty and half the price of this place even their mango sago soup was filled with fresh mangos! Everyone go to Let's Desert instead!
google avatar

Rosalia X.

Yelp
Their Rose Mille crepe cake is delicious ! I recommend it. If you are a fan of coconut you should try their coconut pudding. I didn't expect it to be in a legit coconut it's a lot of pudding. Their spoons are the cutest things ever
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
This is my go to dessert spot, I love their mango juice with aloe it's like a smoothie slush texture and aloe jelly in the bottom of the drink. The mango sago, mango sago with rice balls, mango pomelo, mango with grass jelly are all good. The fresh mango chunks they use is always ripe and sweet. I just wish they would open a little earlier!
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly one of the best Asian dessert spots around the BB/Bensonhurst area. If you're looking for quality tasting desserts, come here and go across the street to its competitor some other time. The workers here also so genuinely kind and warm. They remembered my face even after months of not coming during the pandemic but perhaps that's because I went multiple times a week before the pandemic. The mango pomelo is so good here. The durian is also pretty good but not worth IMO. I've tried their hot foods too like their curry fishballs which were affordable and very yummy. All of my friends rave about this place. Parking in the area, especially at night is a hassle due to the area. Before the pandemic, sitting inside was fun as well. They had seating similar to that of an elementary school and inside the desks, you were able to draw and color while you waited for your desserts. They also have a very Instagrammable wall.
google avatar

Mary C.

Yelp
Staff is super friendly! I love the taro mochi balls, they are so chewy and yummy! The coconut pudding was really good and not too sweet! I love coconut meat and I'm so happy they put the pudding inside of a real coconut. The curry is super good, the texture is a bit soupy and not as creamy as usually curry but it's soooo good. You could just drink the curry sauce. I personally didn't like the fishballs but my friend loves it.
google avatar

Suki C.

Yelp
Came here on CNY shortly after the store opened because my sister wanted dessert. The location is not too hard to find if you intend to look for it, otherwise you might just walk right by it! The shop itself is pretty small compared to the other dessert shops in the area- seats less than 20 I think! The tables are desks similar to what you'd use in schools which I think is super cute- the decor inside is very cutesy! As for the desserts, we tried their dessert with taro balls, grass jelly mixed fruit combos, mango pomelo combos- I checked in with yelp for a 10% discount which was great and they also offered me a free pudding because I spent over $30 (yay). I tried tried mango pomelo and one of the taro dough ball dessert (cant recall what it was) but both were great. Very similar to the ones I've had from other spots. So overall, this is a great asian dessert spot and if I ever crave for any, this would be one of the places I'd consider going to. The only thing that bothered me a little was the wait time. I ordered 8 things and I guess they had just opened the shop not too long before I arrived but from the time I ordered to me walking out, took nearly 25 minutes. Cant tell if I was impatient or that is normal.
google avatar

Yelp
The cake are fresh and delicious. Other Chinese desserts are great as well. Prices are fair as well. Recommend to friends and family.

Yelp
Me-Do Desserts is a cute little dessert place off 86th street. It's really small inside, but it's definitely worth a visit. You can fit up to 15 people inside, 10-12 comfortably. Their decor is also beautiful. Their tables are school desks - how creative! Inside those desks you can find paper and crayons to color with, as well as a small set of Connect Four to play with your friends. The staff was nice and went out of their way to move stuff toget an extra seat for us to accommodate an extra person at our table. I got the mango pomelo with taro balls. It was delicious! The mango was fresh and the taro balls had a great chew to it. It was a refreshing meal with the cool mango pomelo. I would get this again. Minimum $15 for credit card. Free pudding when you spend $30+. You can get a loyalty rewards card - buy 10 desserts and get 1 free. Currently has a 10% off check-in offer through Yelp!
google avatar

Yelp
Love the whimsical design in this tiny dessert shop! The school desks transported me back to simpler, carefree days, they provide "busy work - of coloring sheets and crayons - in the desks to occupy your time while you wait for your sweets, and I wish I could keep their spoons because of how cute they are. Getting to the desserts, I got a slice of Earl Grey crepe cake, a mango coconut aloe drink, and mango milk noodle, which was new to me. The mango milk noodle does not contain actual noodles but what feels like strands of tasteless white jelly. They provide good texture in the bowl of mango chunks and puree, but that's about it for its purpose. I wasn't too thrilled with it and would not order it again. But I should add that, even though it's not mango season right now, the mango's ripe, sweet, and doesn't feel like there's added sugar. The same goes for the mango in our drink. I got chunks of aloe as I drank it, but I totally forgot about the coconut component because I just didn't taste it. I thought the dollop of white cream in the drink was snow white instead. Overall, still a refreshing drink for summertime. And finally the dessert I was looking forward to the most as an Earl Grey fan: its crepe cake version. What a big load of disappointment! It's probably a bad batch because other reviewers said only good things. I expected light and airy cream between the layers but had what I would describe as thick gunk; I felt like I ate some opened box of store-bought cake that has been on the shelf wayyy past the date. The layers easily separated as I cut into it with the spoon. It was difficult to finish, and the server didn't even question why half of the cake was left unfinished as she cleared the table. Would I go back again? Maybe for a drink. I really wanted to like this place, but the items I tried today are making me hesitant :(
google avatar

Yelp
I live super close but I never ordered until recently. I was at home, "dying from covid" and I had a craving for something sweet. I went on Yelp and decided to see what dessert places were nearby (besides prince tea house and mango mango). I decided to order from me-do because it was literally blocks away. I got the earl gray pudding cup, mango pomelo with sago and matcha crepe. Everything was super delicious and affordable. I have no complaints. I will definitely be ordering again after I lose some of this covid weight!
google avatar

Catherine P.

Yelp
CATFISH LEVEL: 4/5: Looks good, tastes okay, finished but wouldn't get again Came here to try a new tong sui place, especially since they are pretty scarce on 86 street! We ordered the ube crepe cake, milk pudding, rose bubble milk tea, durian pancake, and mango pomelo. After we ordered, the worker told us the ube crepe cake was frozen, and asked if we wanted another flavor instead. We chose earl grey, but this also told us their crepe cakes are not made in store and are probable pre-bought ):  The earl grey crepe cake was okay, the crepe tasted more like an egg waffle than a crepe. The cream itself had very little flavor of earl grey. The rose bubble tea was very very sweet, and had a very strong rose flavor, but not overbearing where it tasted like perfume. If it was a little less sweet it would have been perfect! The durian pancake was very good, the durian was pretty fresh as compared to other places that serve this. However, there was a lot of pancake and not a lot of cream and durian. I removed the excess pancake, and it resulted in about half of it gone. The mango delight was alright, the mangoes were fresh but that's about it. The milk pudding, although definitely store bought, was the best thing we got. It was super light and fresh, and definitely worth the money. Overall, this place was okay. We could have gotten the wrong things, but probably would not come back.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the Combo C which includes -Mango Milk Noodle -Any One drink (Mango juice with Aloe) -Any crepe cake (Passionfruit) I think the setup is super cute and clean. The decor is something different yet simple. I had the Mango Milk Noodle. Surprisingly I got more mangos than what the picture had provide. I enjoyed the mango juice part and the noodles was something different that I was excited to try. I was not disappointed. My boyfriend had the passionfruit mille crepe and he couldn't stop eating it (that means he enjoyed it ). They gave us two of these floral spoons which is SUPER cute and I think it made the cut of the crepe easier to eat than with a fork. (or maybe i'm just overthinking it) For the mango juice with aloe, they put it in a to go HOT cup with this cute heart accessory (it stops the drink from spilling through the mouth hole). I really enjoyed my dishes. But I know the mango dishes will not be sweet after the season is over. I will try the taro stuff next time .

Yelp
Service is very good and this dessert place looks clean. It is tucked away on a side street. They sell asian desserts and they also have a section for snacks-japanese chips and pocky. Check in you get 10% off. They also sell wings, curry fishballs and takoyaki. I tried the earl grey Millie cake for $6, passionfruit tea $3, and mix fruit with grass jelly and taro balls for $8. The cake was ok. It did not have enough tea flavor and the texture of the cake was not as delicate as the ones I had before. I would pass on the cake as it was disappointing. The passionfruit tea was good and the mix fruit dessert was also good, it was swimming in coconut milk and it was not too sweet. I hope me-do improve on the millie cake.

Yelp
This place is a true hidden gem. Normally I go to the Mango Mango across the street but I am very glad that I stopped here instead. The classroom aesthetic is super cute and complete with school desks with coloring sheets inside for something to do while you wait for your food. Another great point is that the combos are highly affordable to sample a few items while still being much cheaper than the nearby Mango Mango and Prince Tea House. I ordered Combo C which comes with your choice of crepe cake, a drink and mango milk noodles. The crepe cakes are on the smaller side but the passion fruit cake I ordered delicious. The tartness of the passion fruit was perfectly offset by the sweet cream. I also ordered the honeydew bubble tea which was pretty standard but the bubbles were delightfully chewy without being soggy. Finally, the milk noodles were the most interesting dish. The mango juice was refreshing and the milk noodles don't have much flavor but they're very refreshing. It's topped off with fresh mango chunks that finish it off perfectly.

Yelp
Very refreshing desserts. Highly recommend the waffles & the red bean matcha Snow White.

Yelp
This place in school style and really clean. LOVE THE DESIGN!! It makes me think about High School when I was young. It looks brand new which I believe it is relatively new as you get a 10% discount for their grand opening when you check in and write a review on Yelp. The price is very fair. I went there with my friends and ordered almost $50 desserts and get $5 off. I strongly suggest you to take this discount, don't forget to do that! It's a really nice hang out spot and overall the place is extremely appealing. The employees seem to be attentive and friendly. I love the desserts here. I ordered the coconut pudding in Shell with Taro Ball. It is very delicious. The taro ball is very fresh and taste better than MeetFresh!! As a Taro ball lover, I feel so happy to have this place in Brooklyn. My friends love this place too. the food and the environment and perfect for us. We will definitely come back again.

Yelp
To be honest this place has probably contributed to a fair amount of my covid weight gain. However only because I've been ordering delivery from them so frequently due to their wide selection of bubble teas and cakes. By this point I've tried a fair amount of their mille crepe cakes, and can say they are quite good with a wide assortment of flavors. My favorites are probably the matcha and durian.
google avatar

Anthony L.

Yelp
This dessert place is very cozy with seats that allow you to people-watch as they stroll along from 86th Street. The place is a bit small but I think that's what makes it feel cozy and clean. They used school desks to make up the seating areas here which is a bit different. The grass jelly with coconut juice is what I order every time. They are very fast and it tastes delicious. The grass jelly is a little bit bitter but that's what makes it fun. The staff is very nice and quick with service. They are well-mannered and always smiling. The service here is 5-stars all the way. What I will say is that the menu is on the pricier side of things. Their stamp card requires at least $5 for one stamp, but the grass jelly or drinks are usually under that. Overall it is a very nice dessert place. If I have a few extra dollars, I wouldn't mind coming here again.

Yelp
Been here twice last month and I had a decent experience each time. It was a small hidden dessert spot on the side street of the busier 86th street. There were probably 8-10 seats, they also had extra stools for larger groups to use at the tables. The decor was cute and portrayed a classroom - the tables were legitimately classroom tables and they had coloring papers and crayons in it for kids. My first time here, I had a mango pomelo - it was fresh and they definitely didn't skimp out on the ingredients. My second time here, I had the mixed fruit with jelly grass - the girl let me choose my fruits from what they had (super nice!!). The fruit was definitely fresh and yummy - they were also very generous with the servings. My friend got the coconut glutinous rice with taro ball - she really liked it and also it was pretty to take pictures of. Unfortunately, they were unable to cut the coconut in half for them so that it would be easier to eat. Both times, the staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Some people are complaining about the price but I think this is only a little bit more expensive than the average dessert price in Brooklyn (BUT you get a larger portion + better quality here). Hopefully, they'll keep the quality over time.

Yelp
Me-Do is a recent family-owned dessert shop addition to the Bath Beach/Bensonhurst area serving Asian puddings, sago, crepe cakes, and more. Desserts are priced between $3-11, which is reasonable in comparison to other shops in the area. Their variety ensures that there's something new to try every time you come here. It's a small shop that seats about 11 people in a mix of bar and desk seating. Decor is school-inspired with six elementary classroom desks and there are coloring pages and crayons for guests to use. I would avoid coming here with more than 2-3 people during peak hours if you want to sit and chat. All in all, a cute shop serving good desserts. Not my favorite but a welcome addition to 86th Street nonetheless.
google avatar

Belle L.

Yelp
Pretty solid dessert place. I've gotten desserts here a few times when they first opened and it tasted a bit off in terms of the chalkiness of the crepe cakes. However, I ordered delivery from them again and it's gotten a lot of better.

Yelp
Cute cafe - the tables are school desks, which is a very interesting concept. We ordered a purple yam crepe cake and rose milk tea. Both were very tasty!

Yelp
Ordered for delivery at around 8pm and it was estimated to be delivered around 8:30-8:40. Called them at 9 to inquire about my order and they said it was coming. Waited til literally midnight and my order never showed up. I'm so disappointed /: My order was over $30 too

Yelp
I have been here many times and my go to would always be coconut pudding with taro ball. I like it so much I would get it to go... well this time they violated me. The hole on the coconut was cut too small so the plastic spoon could not fit. I had to scrape all my pudding out and throw the whole coconut away. I paid $10 for this dessert and I couldn't even eat the coconut meat.

Yelp
Got some sweets for delivery via ubereats. The mango pomelo sago is pretty solid, large chunks of mango, tangy pomelo and sago with the right texture. The rose Mille crepe cake was OK, have had better but I did finish it because it was thankfully not very sweet. Overall a very solid spot even for delivery.

Yelp
I ordered the rose crepe, strawberry crepe and a taro bubble tea. Service was quick. I didn't like the rose crepe too much. Had a bitter flavor. Everything else was great! Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Ordered a mix fruit sago with coconut milk, but received mix fruit with grass jelly. I asked the waitress nicely about the order and she agreed it was incorrect and asked the kitchen to 'remake' it. All the kitchen did was scoop out all the grass jelly and dump some sago on it, there was still small bits of grass jelly you could see on it. It came back out drier than the Sahara desert and still missing the coconut juice, so I had to ask again and it went back in. The second time it came back with a little bit of coconut juice. The order definitely did not look like it was supposed to or the previous time I ordered it. I did not finish the dessert and left it half full. Stars for the waitress for being nice and understanding. 0 for the kitchen staff for being lazy and getting the order wrong twice. What if I was allergic to grass jelly?

Yelp
Another dessert place that serves mango sago and old school tong yuen! I got the rose mille crepe cake and it was delish. The mango sago was good too, will definitely come back! The place is small with elementary school desks... $15 credit card minimum!

Yelp
My favorite dessert spot! I would always come here if I'm around the area. They have a stamp card and when you get 10 stamps you can redeem it for a free dessert. The quality of the dessert is definitely better than Kulu and Mango Mango. The decoration of the place is cute and the tables are like school tables. When you spend $30 or more you'll get a free pudding. My favorite dessert is the durian sago and mango pomelo with grass jelly. I recommended this spot to my friends & family and they absolutely loved it.

Yelp
I used to go to Meet Fresh to get my grass jelly/taro mochi/red bean ice dessert but i live on Dyker Heights and its an hour of train to get there. Found this place the last year of 2018 while i was looking for dessert to bring to my in laws and i am super pleased. I bought them 4 different kinds of crepe cake ($6-$6.50 each) and they told me i could get a free pudding if i buy more than $30 worth of goodies so i decided to order a random item i saw on the menu from a picture. Took it home and was pleasantly surprised that it was an item very similar that I order from Meet Fresh but better. The green tea ice cream was a bonus plus too and more bitter than the grocery store green tea i buy. I love that. Came back to the store again today and had it the second time. Would come back again and again to try the other desserts. I also got a stamp card: order 10 deserts and get 1 dessert free. They said not including cake, pudding or drinks. I'm good with that. On a side note: Anyone know where i could buy green tea ice cream just like that in a pint? Most grocery store green tea (even the one from Chinatown's ice cream factory) are sweeter and lighter green.

Yelp
I try two dessert today with my husband, this is the best desserts store around 86th street. Mature mango, that's my favorite. Very good service. I like the table, school style, very clean and comfort interior.

Yelp
EHHHHHHH, really 2.5 stars. I was craving dessert at 11pm (I know, terrible) and found this place is still open - hooray! They have a variety of mille crepes that Lady M made very popular, as well as, juices and bubble teas. I ordered the Purple Yam crepe and Rose crepe on Eat24 to pickup. I went in to pick up and it was super easy. The location is right off 86th and easy to find. There are 6 total school type desks, 4 are in a cluster together - like in elementary school - and 2 are together. There were 4 people sitting at the desks finishing up. Other than that, there's really not much space in the store. It was cramped with 4 + 2 employees + me. They also have a variety of crepes on display. The crepes were about $7.50-8, which I think is overpriced - the Lady M slice is $8.50 and famously delicious. Me-Do is in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, so lower rent, and definitely not as good. I'd say $6-6.50 would be a more reasonable amount. That being said, they are a small family owned business and Lady M is a large corporation. They included napkins and forks - thank you! Anyway, onto the crepes. Both were very beautiful - rose was a pretty pink with some rose bits on top; the purple yam had a beautiful purple "dust" for lack of a better word. The rose was delicious, tasted rose like, definitely not overwhelming, just a bit sweet. The texture on both was dense, but not too dense, I thought it was perfect. Unfortunately, the purple yam, which I was very excited about, was utterly tasteless. It tasted frozen or if it had sat there for a while, kind of stale and didn't taste like anything. 2.5, but rounding up to 3: .5 star for ability to order online w/o speaking to anyone (we know that's the real reason Seamless/Eat24/Grubhub are around ;) ) 1 star for packaging, easy to find location 1 star for the Rose crepe Minimum for credit card is $15 FYI. EDIT: AND I just realized their pricing is $6 - they are $8 on Eat24. Awesome, not. Rounding down to 2.
