"Occupying an old restored farmhouse, this large, spacious and attractive restaurant is run by a couple who offer their guests Mediterranean cuisine which is full of flavour. The focus here is on the traditions of Calabria, but the chef’s native region of Campania is also evident in many of the dishes." - Michelin Inspector

Dinner. Located along one of the most beautiful coasts of the Vibo area near the characteristic town of Pizzo Calabro. Housed inside an ancient stone farmhouse completely renovated, just a few steps from the local beach. The restaurant has a large outdoor garden where, in good weather, you can dine on the terrace. The menu for the evening was a six course tasting. Consisting top quality local fresh ingredients, all prepared by Chef Giuseppe Romano. We had pre-drink of a very large Negroni. This is followed by some very tasty Arancini. Once seated at the table, the chef brought out a selection of snacks that completely filled the table. King prawn with bergamot cream cheese. Seaweed wrap with feta and poached mussel. Tempura stuffed courgette flowers prawn with njuda. Alice and courgette bergamot dressing. Sea urchin breaded. Home-made breads. Octopus with smoked mozzarella & cumin sauces. Calamari with Nduja and creamed pumpkin. Black ink pasta with tomatoes & clams. Pan fried fish (similar to parrot fish) sparago with creamed potatoes and spinach. Dessert. Bignet with lemon and fruits of the forest. Everything was cooked to perfection and all served by Chef Giuseppe. It was just like having your own personal chef, which made for an excellent evening dining out in the open air.

First of all, this place looks and feels amazing, me and my daughter came in at 16:30, the place was empty and the chef himself took care of us. And then the food, unbelievably taste and beautifully served. Also an important thing , they actually speak English ! So overall out of 5 Starz I give it a 10. On top of the perfect experience at the restaurant the surrounding area is one of the most beautiful places I've been in Italy, and I have been all over. Must have experience.

Absolute disgrace. The place obviously used to be good as it’s on the Michelin guide but it’s clearly gone down hill. If you are thinking of coming for this reason, don’t bother. It was an utterly bizarre experience from start to finish and we came away feeling conned. We were told it was a tasting menu but we weren’t allowed to see what the dishes were or what the prices were - how very odd. Then the waiter delivered the food to our table without telling us what we were being served which was very strange and rude. We literally had no idea what we were eating, but whatever it was was bang average. We had to ask for olive oil with the bread and ask twice for an ice bucket for the wine. The waiter was slow and unfriendly. He didn’t once ask us if we liked the food. Also a very strange location for a restaurant, behind some apartments. Overall it was terrible and not even worthy of one star. If we could give it zero we would. Avoid avoid avoid!!

High end dinner place near Pizzo downtown. I visited here a few times over the past years, and I always had a great experience. Staff is very professional and well trained and the Chef and food are just spectacular. I have been here recently with a few guests from San Francisco, who have a very high bar where it comes to food, and they were blown away by the quality of the presentation and the taste of the dishes. Highly recommended if you want to impress your date or guests!

Amazing food! Got to try lots of new Italian food courses. As a vegetarian they created me 2 different menus for different evenings, they bent over backwards to cater for my children and my husband said it was the most amazing flavours he's tasted! Would highly recommend. Thank you for 2 wonderful evenings.
