This restaurant is a true gem, standing as a testament to family tradition. It's been around for decades and is lovingly run by a grandmother, her daughter, grandson, and granddaughter. I had one of the most uniquely memorable dining experiences of my life here.
The restaurant operates in an omakase style, meaning they serve dish by dish, They begin with sashimi-style raw beef. If you're unfamiliar with or hesitant about raw meat, this might not be the best choice. However, we thoroughly enjoyed it; the quality of the meat and the preparation process were pure art and dedication. To truly appreciate the experience, familiarity with Japanese culture and language is definitely recommended, as it's the whole experience, not just the food, that makes this place so unique. We lived in Japan before, so it was not an issue for us but it might not be as straightforward for everyone if you do not speak Japanese.
I noticed that most of the customers are regulars, and the staff treats them like family. Even though it was our first time, they were super friendly. They came over to talk to us and kindly answered any questions we had.
We visited in the afternoon and then returned before 6 PM, and they were kind enough to accommodate us for dinner that same day. We truly appreciated the experience, the food, and their friendship; it was a highlight of our trip. I highly highly recommend this restaurant, they deserve it. I look forward to visiting again.
