MEATliquor Restaurant Queensway - Hyde Park

So I shall start with the food. The burgers are honestly some of the best burgers I've had. So juice and as sad as it sounds, the buns are wonderful. They soak up all the good juices from the burgers while staying soft spongy and also hold together. The monkey fingers are also a delight with a super crispy outer coat without being dry chicken. We played a good number of games including bowling, darts and pool. The darts are all teck and have a number of different ways to play. All the games had a QR code on the tables next to them so you could order food and drinks to you no matter where you were. The drinks choices where really good with a good couple of nice craft beers I've never heard of before but wish I had because they are so good. The cocktails where made with no issues at all and all tasted really good All the staff where incredibly friendly and where happy to help with any requests we had.

I have been to other Meat Liquor and had great good. This was the complete opposite. We booked bowling and a meal. When I turned up, they said there was no booking (the place was pretty empty). I then showed a screenshot of the booking, and then they managed to find the booking. Table service was very disorganised. We had three or four different staff approach us to ask if we wanted to order, after we had already ordered. The place was pretty empty, but the first round of drinks took a long time to arrive. My milkshake tasted like a cheap Nesquik powder mix rather than actual ice cream based milkshake. My friend also ordered the same milkshake and said a similar thing. Once the food turned up, three of the four meals were completely cold. The one warm dish was the person in our group who only ordered a starter. We honestly weren't going to say anything, but a staff member approached and asked if the food was OK. We mentioned that three of the orders were completely cold. A manager came over and offered to take the food back and to bring out warm food but we honestly did not want to send food back to the kitchen as we did not want it to come back with a surprise in it. We said we would just eat the food as is. One friend was trying to be nice and said they'd make it work. The manager then offered to take off two mains from the bill. We ordered a second round of drinks, and one did not turn up. One of the group mentioned it to someone who approached the table, but nothing happened. They eventually stood up and asked someone else, and the drink appeared. Staff were all generally very friendly (just disorganised). I am currently regretting eating the cold food as my stomach is doing back flips. I personally would not go back to this place. My friends said they would return for the bowling but not the food.

Me and my brother have tried their food challenge, and we got ourselves a free meal 😋 . We will definitely go back again for a free meal 😅😅

Great food and amazing sides. Went for a burger and chicken bbq wings and couldn’t be better. Lovely staff and fast service.

I had a quick visit here for a chicken burger with fries. I was seated promptly and I figured out that online ordering was the way forward which all worked fine. Service was ok, and I waited just over 20 minutes for my food. My food was decent, nothing special but good value. Music was too loud and looking around other diners were struggling to talk with their friends and family, although it made no difference to me while eating alone it would put me off visiting with family.

I have been dining at meatliqour for almost 10 years. It has always been a favourite. However the portion sizes are significantly reduced from what they once were and the removal of the melted cheddar cheese and diced onion from them menu is a huge disappointment. That being said the buffalo wings are very tasty. The staff were efficient and friendly. Not sure I will be returning sadly.

I used to love their Dirty Chicken Burger, used to come with an amazing Cheddar Cheese Sauce, now it's just mayonnaise. So the best thing about the burger was removed, and also the chicken is very weird. I used to love this Burgers but now I don't know if I would chose them again.

I went there for a lunch i loved it , the food was perfect and the atmosphere was great. Also the waitress recommended me to get the New Blue burger and the fries both were delicious and tasty. Big thanks
