The three first times I went was great but recently tried to get a prime rib for Christmas and had to decline $30 a pound is outrageous. A 7 pound cut came up to $219. I love y'all meat but it out pricing me the customer. Also always excellent customer service recommend but review the prices first.

Purchased beef tenderloin and New York Strip Steak. All fantastic cuts of meat. Melt in your mouth good. Well worth the price. And the staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

It feels unnecessarily harsh — and if I could say this privately, I would. Meatopia doesn’t deserve a one-star review over pricing. Red meat prices across the U.S. are up about 4.7% over the past year, and that impacts every quality butcher. This isn’t a grocery store — it’s a premium shop with excellent sourcing, skilled butchers, and top-tier cuts. Yes, you’ll pay more for a few steaks — and that’s the point. The quality is there. If price is the priority, there are cheaper options. If quality matters, Meatopia is absolutely worth it.

The best meat around! Meatopia has everything you want in a butchershop. They have the best quality of meat selection in the whole greater Phoenix area. They are all natural and hormone free. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are great for the quantity of meat you get. Inside is very clean and organized. The pricing is exceptionally high. Regardless of the sourcing, whether from a farm or another premium supplier, you can anticipate a substantial expenditure for merely two or three cuts of steak.

Excellent butcher shop! The team is welcoming, the meat is consistently fresh, and the selection is unmatched on this side of town. I’ve visited several others in the area, and this one truly stands out.

I went in the day before Thanksgiving looking for a brisket. They picked one out for me and gave me some tips on preparing it for the smoker. It was the best I’ve ever had!!

This butcher shop reminds me of the ones I used to visit with my Dad when I was a kid. Family-owned, family-run -- everyone is kind, helpful, willing to assist and answer any questions you might have. It was our first visit and we wanted to buy the "Grill It Up" package. We also purchased some bourbon brown sugar bacon, which was phenomenal on the flat-top, and breakfast sausages -- let me just say, these ain't no Jimmy Deans -- they're plump and tasty, similar to what our favorite breakfast spot serves. While they were preparing our package, we asked questions, they are very knowledgeable about the family business. Meatopia has a great selection of meats, seasonings, and other add-on items like veggies, drinks and all kinds of sauces. We walked out very impressed by both the ambiance of the shop and the people who work there -- they are the backbone of this business and do a fantastic job!

Great cuts of meat. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Always friendly and clean. They go above and beyond to meet your needs. Ribeyes are nice and flavorful.

It's in the old "Nothing Bundt Cake" space. When I walked in I was quickly greeted by the son of the owner. The meat I purchased was fresh and delicious. I had them slice my top round thin for beef jerky. They are friendly and the meat and sides are all fresh and top quality. I will be back later this week.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their food is top notch, and as fresh as you can get, and the woman that owns it is so great,woman power! What great shop. Service was excellent, food was superb,and the prices were extremely fair.

When my husband and I heard there was going to be a butcher shop around the corner, we were ecstatic to say the least. Meatopia more than exceeded our expectations with not only the meat selections (which are high quality and amazing), but the impeccable service and the clean, well organized storefront. Now we are there at least once or twice a week to pick something up for dinner, or some raw food for our fur babies! There's an array of seasonings, sauces, herbs, and even a diversity of flavors from a local lemonade business! With the amount of small businesses diminishing all around the country, I'm glad to have the chance to support this one as much as we can. Looking forward to many more stops in Meatopia!

I seen they just opened so I decided to stop by. First impressions that place is very clean and presentable. So much to chose from. I first bought a Tomahawk steak and wow it was amazing. I tried the seasoning they recommended and I'm not trying anything else but that. I stopped again and got a couple New York Steaks. They where so delicious I'm going back. They had great service and answered any questions I had. If you are going to bbq or have a party and want to impress your guest toy definitely need to stop by and pick up some great cuts from here. I'll stop again soon and stock up.

It's 5:30 pm I came by to pick up a few things and the store is CLOSED! Sign says open til 6:00, business must be bad cuz you're closing the doors early? I'm so sorry! I failed to see the store is closed on Monday! I'm just disappointed I can't get my dog food tonight because it's great my dog loves it!

I really love the location and the service is outstanding. Always something different to see and I love the Frozen section. The vibe is awesome when you walk through the door.

GOOD LAWD!!! I bought a hangar steak from here and it was so good, we grilled it and it came out perfect. Restaurant quality for sure! Also, I got the blue cheese butter and the rosemary butter for the steak it was all very delicious. We will be back! I

This place was a little smaller than the other meat shops around so I didn't know what to expect. Bought fillets and skirt steak to try it out. It may be smaller but the meat was top of the line! I will definitely be back for meat again.

Was recommended this place for fresh protein. Came in about a month ago to get some beef and chicken. I purchased the Meats package got extra hamburger and extra chicken in exchange for the pork because we had just found out that my mother has cancer and can no longer eat pork. The hamburger and tri tip were frozen everything else was fresh and good. We were not able to eat the hamburger or the tri tip all The frozen meats were oxidized and smelled sour. The 4 lbs of ground beef and the 2 lb tri tip all went to the trash. Don't know if I'll ever go back.

This wonderful, friendly shop simply has the best quality meats that I have ever found, and at very fair prices. The owners (family-owned) have consistently shown their passion for what they do, and have displayed great competence in how they do it. As a carnivore, I'm so grateful to have found this place and I will keep buying my meat here for many many years to come. Viva Meatopia!

We bought 3 different kinds of steak here and the bourbon maple bacon. And they were all fantastic. Juicy and great flavor. We will be trying the bacon tomorrow. I'm sure that will be great also. They just gained a new customer.
