I had such a lovely meal at Med Salleh Kopitiam. The food, drink, and dessert were all genuinely delicious, each in their own way.
The Char Kway Teow was the highlight of the meal. The noodles were smoky and flavorful with that unmistakable wok hei aroma, perfectly mixed with bean sprouts, eggs, and tender pieces of meat. Every bite was satisfying, and the sambal added a wonderful depth and spicy kick that made the dish even better.
The iced lime tea was also surprisingly good. It was refreshing and balanced, with a bright citrus flavor that paired perfectly with the richness of the noodles. It wasn’t too sweet and had a clean, cooling finish.
For dessert, I tried the shaved ice mountain, and it was not only visually striking but also delicious. The combination of syrup, toppings, and crushed ice created a refreshing and nostalgic sweetness. It was a fun dessert with great flavor and texture — the kind that makes you smile without even realizing it.
Overall, the food, the drink, and the dessert were all genuinely enjoyable. The flavors felt authentic, comforting, and made with care. I left feeling full, happy, and definitely ready to come back again.
