Medici Coffee

The coffee is good, better choice than Starbucks but the food sucks. I bought a bacon and cheese sandwich but the bacon looks almost raw. Super disappointed and a waste of $8.99

I specifically paid for the extra butter and they gave me a teaspoon of extra butter when I asked for more they declined and didn’t want to even bother giving me another teaspoon. Stingy big guy. Two sides of a bagel. You expect for me to be able to put a thin layer on butter, the size of a piece of paper?

Maybe I am not clear on what a Macchiato is, but paying $6.24 on 1/3 filled of this small cup is a joke. The pastries were dry and almost inedible. The service was not friendly. Next time I would take the line at Starbucks.

If you need a quick breakfast at the airport, Medici Coffee delivers. I was impressed with their speed. My breakfast bagel sandwich was simple, but the egg, ham, and cheese made it enjoyable.

They don't actually make a coffee latte. They put the syrups in a coffee cup, then they call your name. Then, you have to pore the coffee in your own water bottle. Definitely not worth $7. I was definitely disappointed and do not recommend this place.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but sometimes disappointment just takes over. We ordered a croissant, a breakfast sandwich and two waters. The croissant was not fresh and when warmed up the inside was still cold, the breakfast sandwich was just egg and cheese and although I asked for no meat I expected something like lettuce tomatoes etc. The service was fine but the food was just alright if not bad, and all could be excused but the price was insane 25$ for 2 waters, an egg bagel and a croissant. The waters were 5$ each and of course they don’t show the price on the menu or screen. So you only realize once you get your receipt I get the airport food is expensive but they take advantage sometimes and I don’t appreciate it.

Today I had the privilege of being barked at by an employee named Sam for daring to walk near a sugar spill (God forbid). Rather than a simple “Hey, careful, there’s a spill,” I got barked at like a misbehaving toddler: “DON’T WALK THROUGH HERE.” Then, in front of customers, she referred to another guest as a “douche bag” and said she hoped he got diarrhea for a week. Classy. As a cherry on top, the person who made my coffee looked like she’d just come from a funeral and couldn’t be bothered to say thank you or crack a single expression beyond deep existential dread. Not sure why I tipped—maybe out of pity, maybe out of habit—but lesson learned. If your goal is to start your travel day feeling insulted and invisible, this is your place. Otherwise, steer clear and find a vending machine. It’ll be friendlier.

Best quality franchise coffee in Austin. Definitely should be higher rated than all the other franchises in the area. People are just pissed and leave bad reviews because there’s so many people trying to order from them while making their flights.
