Stylish coffee spot featuring globally roasted beans, espresso, pastries

"When we’re dealing with an early morning departure, we like to start with a coffee (and maybe a breakfast sandwich) from Medici to kickstart our brains. It’s fast, reliable, and significantly more local than a certain other popular chain coffee shop with long lines just a few gates away. Located near Gate 7 " - nicolai mccrary
"Another coffee roaster with a roster of cafes all around Austin, including this one in Govalle, serving all the iced coffee classics. Takeout orders can be placed in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Eric Webb
"The lunch service joins a number of other restaurants in the development. Other tenants include a cafe and roastery from local coffee shop Caffe Medici." - Erin Russell
"I read that the Austin coffee-shop mini-chain opened a new cafe and roastery in East Austin's Springdale General creative complex at 1023 Springdale Road in Govalle; it's the chain's sixth location. The spot offers the usual coffee menu—espresso-based drinks, drip, and cold-brew—along with seasonal takes and tea, and plans to offer doughnuts from gourmet spot Bougie’s, including gluten-free options. There is table and bar seating, and what’s special about this location is that it contains Medici’s first-ever roasting facility and serves as its headquarters, housing the company's offices and a training lab. For now hours are limited to 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. this week before expanding to full hours (6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily) starting Monday, August 19. Co-owners Michael and Allison Vaclav opened the first Caffe Medici in Clarksville in 2006, later adding locations on the Drag, downtown, and South Lamar." - Nadia Chaudhury
"The building itself also includes the Front Page restaurant, as well as the forthcoming French bakery Julie Myrtille and Caffe Medici’s cafe and roastery." - Nadia Chaudhury
