"Jamal Ansari, father of Baba’s Hummus sibling duo Rana Kamal and Khalid Ansari, perfected his signature hummus at Mediterranean Cruise Cafe, a circa 1979 landmark known for its food, grandeur, and lively entertainment. Influenced by Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian, and Egyptian cuisines, the menu celebrates an array of Arab culinary traditions. The arayes — a toasted pita stuffed with spiced ground beef and served with irresistible garlic sauce — is a standout appetizer. For a feast, try Jamal’s Favorite Kabobs, a platter of chicken and shrimp kabobs, a rack of lamb, grilled vegetables, and fries. The large, ornate space features shimmering chandeliers, pointed arches, weekend belly dancing shows, and even Salsa Saturdays with live music and dance lessons." - Matthew Awad, Stacy Brooks

A good friend recommended this place, so my wife and I met up with him and his wife for dinner and drinks. The parking lot was full, but I appreciated that the restaurant offers a free parking ramp. If it hadn't been raining, the walk would have been even more enjoyable. When we arrived, we let the host know we had a reservation, and we were seated right away. Our server was new and made a few mistakes, but that's understandable. The food was fantastic, the appetizers were great, and the restaurant's décor was nicely done. The menu is a bit busy, but it offers a lot of great options to choose from. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his son, both of whom were very friendly and welcoming. The belly dancer and live performances were a fun touch--she even invited guests, both kids and adults, to join her on stage and learn a few moves, which was really cool to see. We'll definitely be back! So glad we finally got to try this hidden gem.

This authentic Mediterranean restaurant was an EXPERIENCE!! It's rare to come upon a bright & CLEAN restaurant with food this amazing, superb service by such pleasant staff, and an old-world AUTHENTIC Mediterranean atmosphere like no other in MN!! While we waited for the rest of our party outside we watched everyone walking into the restaurant smiling & laughing- all looking like this wasn't their first visit & excited to be back. The mood of the patrons inside was the same- everyone was having a great time! We were one of two very large groups & the staff made taking care of all of us look like they do this every day of the week. The long buffet of lunch food is offered DAILY! We already can't wait to drive the hour again to dine here! We will recommend this restaurant experience to everyone we know! Thank you for providing us with an amazing & FUN family event!! We'll be back!!

Over many years of coming here, the food has changed dramatically to the point that they start serving leftover foods. Poor customer service. Plus I invited my coworkers and they vomited all that they ate. The bathroom didn’t have toilet paper or paper towels. The man and the owner’s family female person was outside with the smokers(hookah )and the door was wide open, my guest had to ask them to close the door. 5 people spent over $300. never coming back again. The meat and the shrimp was very dry. The rice was definitely left over probably from the day before.

Google
If you are looking for a good Mediterranean food, this is one of the best in the TC. Menu is extensive and plenty to choose from. Our orders are bountiful in size (combo platter and Lamb shank). The lamb is very tasty and soft, the meat peels peel from the bone. Service is great and the price is very decent considering the amount of food served.

Google
AMAZING food - incredibly delicious and great portion sizes. They have all the usual suspects, but some fun other things too - try the Mujadara and hummus platter with the sriracha hummus. The blue Hawaiian drink was great and if you go a Friday or Saturday night - they have live belly dancing.

One word : delicious. I’m so glad that my husband and I chose those place. The service was perfect, the food was incredible. The ambiance is great for a date or a belly dancing show on the weekends. Salsa nights on Saturday!

Google
In a way I feel bad about this review because the food was good. The bartender was phenomenal. He was so sweet + made us feel right at home. If the only service we had was him we would have had five star experience. However, once we moved to the patio, things went decidedly downhill. I had to eventually go get our own menus because the server didn't bring them. We waited forever and got to order and then waited for our food forever. The entire meal was an hour longer than necessary. Week would have understood had they been packed out but there was hardly anyone there. That was disappointing. But the food was really good

Google
My opinion is this is the #1 Restaurant in the Twin Cities. I have said it over and over, and I will continue saying it. When somebody asks me “What’s your favorite restaurant”? I send them here. I’ve had both the lunch buffet and dinner here. If you are an eat it plain no seasonings type of person, it’s probably not for you, but they will still have something for you. If you’re the type of person who loves all those interesting flavors dancing happily across your taste buds, this is the place for you. I’ve had many of the items on the menu here, have seen allot of the items on the menu here, and loved em all.

Yelp
We came Sunday at 11:30 for the buffet. It was outstanding. So many options to choose from and it all was very tasty. Easy to get to with Google maps.

Yelp
My two recent dinners have more than met expectations about flavor, value and choice. Service has been exemplary. Belly dancers have been a bonus.

Yelp
What a cool spot! I was driving through Burnsville and decided to look for somewhere new to try. This place popped up and I wasn't disappointed to have Greek for lunch! I'm looking over the menu I was immediately drawn to the garlic spicy gyro. No surprises there - I love my gyros and anytime something says spicy or includes jalapeños I'm pretty much locked in. Let's just say this right away - the sandwich was delish. I made that thing disappear really quickly and enjoyed every bite. The gyro meat was tender and flavorful, and I also loved the addition of the grilled onions and mushrooms. It wasn't overpowering from a garlic lens and the spice level was pretty modest. All in all - I loved it and would visit repeatedly if I were a south sider! Only thing I wish would have been a bit more kick, but that's pretty typical for me!

Yelp
Great service & exceptional food. So many great choices! Started with the hummus sampler and saganski. Gyro Shawarma dinner and finished with crème brûlée cheesecake Belly dancers on Friday and Saturday Highly recommend!

Yelp
Let me start off by saying the decor was a Hit! Mediterranean vibes all the way. From the chandelier to the details on the wall. I loved it. The food was a hit on all my favorite flavors. We had the Palestinian chicken called Msakhan and a salmon rice bowl. To start off we did the Dolmas along with a No-jito (Virgin mojito) the No-Jito was nothing to beach about. the mint leaves didn't let off much flavor. So it tastes like a sprite. Our Server (Aiyana) was very delightful and attentive. Thank you! we will be returning back

Yelp
Med Cruise Cafe has been a long time favorite for my family and friends because they've always been there to help us celebrate special moments. Whether it be the surprise birthday party we hosted for my mom or the bachelorette dinner we enjoyed for my friend at their beautiful restaurant while belly dancers performed, they always deliver wonderful food and service! We've had Med Cruise Cafe cater a number of events from graduation parties to weddings, and they get it right every time. The staff has great catering recommendations, and they'll even deliver and help set up the food. So whether you're going just for lunch or to celebrate a special occasion, you can trust Med Cruise Cafe to provide delicious food and superb service.

Yelp
I have been here several times and am mostly posting this review based on a cumulative experience--which is to say that, this family run establishment is a staple in the south metro that should absolutely be frequented if you like Mediterranean food...even more so if you are there during the lunch buffet (sample more stuff) or on a night when dancers are there (entertaining). On the most recent visit we had a basic salad with a hummus sampler and some drinks. The ambience is inviting, servers are friendly, prices are reasonable and the entertainment is unique in the Midwest. Can't think of anything I'd change...so 5 stars.

Yelp
After years of on again, off again, visits, today's visit was amazing. The food has always been tops but service has left a lot to be desired. Today was different. Julie was our waitperson and she made up for all past disappointments. For me, a dedicated foody, 1/3 of my dining experience is the level of service, 2/3 menu and flavor. I had the lamb chops and my partner enjoyed the noontime buffet. The only suggestion I can make is, considering the aging of America, more dedicated handicapped parking spaces. Did I mention the ambiance. Superb. We'll be back soon for the amazing menu and a hopes that Julie will be there to serve us.

Yelp
I met up one afternoon with my family for a late lunch. It wasn't super busy at the time and we had a reservation and they called to confirm but still took a little bit to get a table. And throughout the meal the service was good and friendly but seemed to move at a slow pace. The food makes up for the speed though!! We all thoroughly enjoyed what we had! The hummus is a must!!! I tried babas hummus at the mn state fair in their adorable airstream. It's so perfectly smooth and creamy!! The truffle flavor was delicious too and good prices to buy at the restaurant! The gyro meats were nice and the pitas warm and soft. I also enjoyed the falafel and salad. Would def go back! Just make sure you have a bit more time or a group you don't mind the extra socializing with:D

Yelp
A large group of us ate at Mediterranean Cruise Cafe on a Friday night in December. We had a wonderful waitress who was able to keep on top of all our orders and miscellaneous requests. Our drinks came out quickly, and we didn't wait long for our food to arrive either. My partner and I shared a twin gyro plate which came with two servings of your choice of gyro meat (we went with chicken and lamb/beef). It was a lot of meat but very tasty. The rest of our family enjoyed their meals as well. Some notable mentions include the chicken wing appetizer and the gyro wraps. What was a little interesting about our experience was that our waitress offered our table jello shots after we paid the bill. The explanation was a little hazy and hard to understand, and out of all the tables, we were curious why they had offered them to us. We were given roughly 10 jello shots but only a few were eaten; they were pretty strong and we're not fans of jello. Also to note: They use to have belly dancers on Fridays and possibly weekends, but it sounds like that has stopped (as of Dec. 23, 2022 when we were there).

Yelp
First of all, I just want to say the inside is stunning! The decor really gives off the Mediterranean feeling! We came here with a group of 8 for a birthday dinner. We ordered the small super appetizer (subbed hummus with baba ganouje), hummus bi lahme, and two of the mock tails (the cruise one & mojito). The hummus bi lahme and baba ganouje were pretty good--they use baba's hummus for all the dips in the restaurant. The mock tails weren't really worth it tho, they just tasted like airplane juice lol (mojito was alright). From the super appetizer, we liked the falafel, gyro, and spanakopita. Everything else wasn't as memorable, and the saganaki/flaming cheese was just normal mozzarella lol (it was fun to see them light it up though). My parents got the Mediterranean for Two: I really liked the chicken & shrimp kabobs (they were perfectly seasoned & tender), but the lentil soup was a bit bland. We all loved the seasoned pita puffs, which went perfect with everything and had free refills! The service was alright. Staff kindly answered questions and gave recommendations, but they seemed a bit uncoordinated. Food took a while to come out, but we were also a large party. They forgot to sub our hummus with baba ganouje and never gave us the tabouli (both things were fixed before leaving though). They also accidentally gave us someone else's order, and another server was yelling at the server who messed up in front of us, which was a bit awkward. When they noticed we didn't finish the saganaki, a server got very upset and ended up giving us extra pita puffs and hummus (which we didn't really want). They are accommodating but can come off as pushy. The belly dancing was nice--not entirely authentic but the outfits were very pretty--wish the crowd was more enthusiastic, though! Overall the food was mediocre. I don't think I'd come back, but I want to check out their sister company Baba's!

Yelp
It was a dark and cold night and we wanted food. I have seen this place multiple times online and when attending events in the area. The location is very beautiful when you walk in you feel as if you have entered an old palace on Egypt. It had every high ceiling and this place has a very impressive bar. We were seated right away. The service was spectacular and on top of everything. The food however some of the items were not up to what I have had in my travels of the middle east. The pickles was a strange one the menu said pickles and we asked right away if all that was in it was pickles or if it was pickled veggies. We were told it was a bunch if veggies like beans and beats and other things. Behold the pickles most of our plate was just pickles and we did get some colflower and olives. To be fair it had lots more pickles ans olives I was just late at taking the photo. The pickles were very very salt like If I was eating the sands of Egypt or sipping water from the dead sea itself. It had toooo much salt. The meat the khufta was salty also so if you have issues and need to watch your salt intake then this is not the place for you since almost everything we had was loaded with salt. The peta bread was fabulous! The flavour and the texture and just the taste was absolutely divine as if it was sent from the heavens. The garlic well was very lacking in garlic it's like someone didn't stir or mix it well and gave us the top. It had lots of salt too but not as much as the other items but the flavor was good the consistency was a bit off. It was like garlic that you would use as salad dressing and not to smother onto your meats or peta. The rice was cooked well and fluffy but was lacking those amazing flavors of the middle east. Lots of the dishes came already with lots of the "pickles" in them so pro tip if you want the pickles skip them you get plenty of them with other items. The wine menu was good as well as the drink menu so you could wash the salt down with plenty of options. I was very optimistic about this place but once I arrived I was disappointed. The service however was second to none. I may give this place another chance and review it again because the chefs may have had an off night. I'm not the type to complain about the food and have the staff do it over and sound like the crazy Hispanic so i just device to leave a review. If on my next visit its good or things change then i will update the review. Our server gave us a baklava on the house to take with us. I gave it 3 stars bases on the service provided and how nice and friendly the people were. It was a very warm and welcoming place.

Yelp
I came here with my husband before seeing a comedy show across the street at the Ames Theater. It was obvious that this is a go-to spot for patrons of the theater, and I appreciated that our waitress got us out in time for the show! Now onto the food - my husband and I did the Mediterranean for Two meal and started with the most delicious bowl of tomato basil soup I've ever had. I slurped it up and couldn't get enough! From there we ordered the spanikopita and hummus. Both were good but nothing to write home about. For our entrees, we had the gyro stir fry and shwarma dinner. They give you a lot of food so expect leftovers or come hungry. We both enjoyed our food and ended with dessert, crème brûlée. We were so stuffed that could barely eat the dessert! The restaurant is very big and was hosting a large private party. The bar area looks fun so I'd definitely come back for a cocktail or two!

Carmen J.

Yelp
Great food ! the gyros are so good and also their hummus plates fantastic. You can buy there amazing hummus to go. Lots of good flavors

Tony C.

Yelp
Takeout was great.. ample portions for 3-5... To Go packs were fantastic.. just right mix and very juicy chicken kabobs and lamb/beef gyro fixings.. And it looks fun to join them for a dine in experience.. definitely going back at some point

Betsy W.

Yelp
Beautiful place , large clean spacious . We came around 5pm on a Friday night the place was empty , no events or belly dancing which is fine since we were early and didn't check schedules . Food was good but nothing really wowed us . Kinda sad Cause it's such a beautiful place . Service was fine no issues . But just was kinda underwhelmed .

Michael N.

Yelp
SALTY!!! We hadn't been here for a while and thought it would be fun to go. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating. Very friendly service! However most of the food was so salty it was hard to eat. Most meals were barely touched. The Chicken wings (kids ordered) and my wife's gyro stir fry were over powered with salt. The feta pasta shrimp was just over seasoned. It's too bad...we had good memories of this restaurant but we won't be back. I should mention that the waitress apologized and offered a small comp. For 1 of our entrees.

Lynn O.

Yelp
The food is very good, but it is too noisy - at least it was 3/31/24. The brunch buffet, that day, offered many delicious options.

Akshay R.

Yelp
This is my go to Mediterranean restaurant for some good food. They used to have huge buffet menu before inflation. Now they cut down by half of the items they put on the table. There food is really amazing. There alacarte menu also have lot of items in there and it's all worth trying out. They have a really good bar. I would recommend this restaurant. There place is large and maintained well. Tip- Yelp check in have a 10% off on the bill.

Michele H.

Yelp
This may be my favorite restaurant in Minnesota. Their happy hour is phenomenal. Large portions, great prices, and the food is so good and fresh. Like, I can't believe they check all the boxes. Hard to find restaurants like that these days. 5 star experience tonight. Have been many times and always suggest to friends that we go here. Will be back.

Brian R.

Yelp
I have been here many times and I actually had my first date with the love of my life here. I can not recommend this restaurant enough! The food and service are always amazing!

Buu N.

Yelp
Went here twice in one week for their lunch buffet! Everything was delicious and they offered a wide variety of items! The salad and veggies were super fresh and their meats were perfectly seasoned! Next time I plan to try their brunch!

Brent F.

Yelp
Careful they tack on a mandatory 15% tip if you come with a large group. And that is even if you pay separately from the group. We ordered the buffet so there was no actual service provided. They hide this from you, and when you ask about it workers get offended. They were nasty about it. My wife and I tipped extra not knowing they were going to do this. Food was good. Belly dancers while I am trying to eat is a beer inappropriate imo. So maybe not kid friendly.

When D.

Yelp
Food was not great, except for the Toom. We were there just at the start of brunch and everything on the steam tables was already cold. The building and decor are unique. The service was good. I would be curious to get something made to order before I would dismiss them completely. The location is great if you're doing anything at the Ames, but it's kind of out of the way for anyone else.

Vickie C.

Yelp
Service is good, food is tasty and the drinks are great! We usually order off of the happy hour menu when we go.

Mariam R.

Yelp
Dining during COVID times is always nerve wracking, especially at a place that's new-to-you. I called in advance to verify that the restaurant was at 50% capacity and that they were enforcing distancing and they stated they were. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was very empty and at the 40% full mark - granted, it was a Sunday night. All the employees and many patrons were wearing masks when not eating. Reassuring! The service was great and the food was also impeccable. Not super oily compared to other mediterranean places, which was great. I loved every single thing on our Cruise platter. The chicken was tender and had a lot of flavor. The shawarma meat was juicy. Hummus was delicious. And lastly, I loved the veggies , rice and the dips included. I actually wish there were more veggies on this plate - it was that good! Servings are huge here. I split this plate with my husband and we had enough for both of us. Probably would have had leftovers too if we weren't so starving! I have a feeling this restaurant will be a staple for us. Definitely a gem in the south suburbs.

Jess H.

Yelp
We had an AMAZING experience here a few weeks ago and I cannot stress how great it was and how we cannot wait to come back! My fiance and I's anniversary lands on Restaurant Week every year so we always try to pick one place we've been meaning to try and make a night out of it! This year we picked MCC and went a little earlier than normal to beat the crowd. When we arrived we were promptly sat and congratulated on our anniversary! We ordered a bottle of wine to split and put our order in from the Restaurant Week menu and we were on our way within a few minutes of being sat. It was a great atmosphere, our server knocked it out of the park! It was clear she was handling a ton of tables at the time, with much bigger parties than our party of two and yet she never made us feel like we were an inconvenience or not a top priority as we were a smaller group. She was incredible and I cannot say enough about her! The wine was a Riesling, can't remember the name but it was delicious and stayed cold all throughout dinner! We weren't expecting the salad and bread prior to the Restaurant Week menu so that was a nice surprise, only wish I had a little more room as I felt like there was so much food that we got! Literally everything that Dan and I ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Towards the end of our meal the belly dancer came out and that was a nice treat as we weren't expecting it! MCC also hooked us up for our anniversary (something we weren't expecting at all with it being Restaurant Week) so for that we are SO thankful and appreciative! We were happy just to be there and celebrate during Restaurant Week so that was a nice surprise! The whole evening was exactly what we were hoping for and more, we cannot wait to come back and visit again!

Summer G.

Yelp
This spot is the best Greek restaurant south of the twin cities in my opinion. Every time I visit here I always get the Twin Gyros, which comes with gyro and chicken meat, grilled veggies (usually zucchini, bell peppers, and mushrooms) and rice. There's an extra charge for a side salad ($3.00) but it's definitely worth it because it's a good size salad and is served with warm pita bread. The only alcoholic drink I've tried here is their Mediterranean Kool Aid, and it's very good! If you're a light weight, you'll certainly feel it's effects quickly. Service is always great, even when it's really busy. There's belly dancing on select nights (check website for schedule) and theirs usually a buffet for weekend brunch. We visited last evening and sat outdoors on the patio. It was relaxing and the staff took necessary precautions on keeping staff and employees safe during this time of COVID-19. Overall, I'm always impressed with the food, service and cleanliness and is a regular eatery I visit whenever I'm craving authentic Greek good!

Cam M.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on my birthday with 13 people. Rhamy served us and did an excellent job. He was busy with 10+ other tables but took great care of us. Plus there was another group of 30 people. They have a great lunch buffet at a reasonable price. With all the people there they kept the buffet full too.

Heidi G.

Yelp
Got here just before 2 for lunch. Three tables including us. Nice young waiter greeted us. We were seated at a very sticky table. Apparently they all are that way by the response of our comment to the waiter. While waiting to order we enjoyed the speaker-phone conversations of the bartender, sitting at the bar. As the bartender sat with a table of friends that entered, a diner was waiting fir him to acknowledge she was waiting at the bar. When he didn't, she came to the table and asked if someone was there that she knew. He said he didn't know and would ask. As the bartender casually took his friends order she waited. And waited. The waiter was unsure if the spanakopita app was more than one piece, I had to repeat my salad order twice because, no green pepper really threw him. He might be new. They ran out of avocado so I had to change my salad order entirely as it was an avocado Mediterranean salad. Got the Greek instead. Spanakopita was tasty and warm. Soup was also just warm but my companion liked it that way. Gyro was tasty, salad was large and very fresh. So food good, attitude and ability of staff, meh.

KD M.

Yelp
First fine dining here. The food is absolutely delicious, although a bit pricey. But I deducted 2 stars for the very poor service. From the time we were seated, till the check was signed, the staff was inattentive. We will give the another chance. But if it is not measurably better, we will just do take out.

Elgin B.

Yelp
This was such an amazing experience. Food was Delicate and refreshing way more than anyone who actually needs. Atmosphere was relaxing. I can't wait to see this space lit up outside of covid. We loved the entire experience. Wait staff was Magnificent. Wonderful spot for a date. I am still dreaming of leftovers.

ARi W.

Yelp
Excellent food very generous portions! And the belly dancing Show was awesome and our server was friendly!

Rukia A.

Yelp
Food was good without a doubt but what upset me and my husband was the fact that they didn't tell us that we would be an Auto tip which bought our bill to $80. Big mistake and will not be returning. I can find good Mediterranean food else where.

Monique H.

Yelp
We had a great experience at this restaurant! First, our server was welcoming and had hospitality down to a tee. She gave great drink recommendations to get us started. We were lucky enough to arrive during the weekend happy hour, so we ordered a few dishes to share. There were falafel tacos, gyro tacos, Mediterranean flatbread, Saganaki (mozzarella that is set on fire at your table), a schwarma appetizer, and chicken kabob munchies. The food was a winner! I also ordered the Mediterranean Beach drink which is rum, peach, mango, and cranberry. We were stuffed and satisfied by our choices. It's spacious inside, with a belly dancing stage in the middle, and a separate party room. There is a nice patio as well. Parking is a bit tricky in the lot, but there is a free parking garage near by.

Rida S.

Yelp
I've been to mediterranean cruise cafe twice once for eat in and once for takeout and it does not disappoint. I love how huge the restaurant is provides for great social distancing and also is great for parties (after covid is over). The place is very beautiful inside reminds me of a castle type. I got once the cruise platter and it was delicious a great variety of kebabs, gyro, veggies, hummus etc. The meat is always cooked to perfection and this time around before the covid lockdown I got the gyro platter and it was delicious, tender meat and so much flavor as well as so much food what you pay! I cannot wait to try more things from here, it's perfect for takeout as well. Also if you eat halal meat it is halal meat except the steak. Just a fyi.

Tatiana M.

Yelp
This review needs to be read by the YELP staff. We came late from my cousins' graduation ceremony and we were told that we had to wait 40 minutes, which is understandable. So since I've done it before, I tried to make a reservation immediately on Yelp, and it WAS CONFIRMED. Then when it was time, I was told that "I wasn't confirmed, that I was in waiting list". But the app showed it was confirmed. Then, I'm told that was for 7 pm, but I showed them the app again, it was for 9 pm, for 5 people. So then I'm finally told that I "can't go around the system". I'm waiting here cause my family likes it. My question is: Who is going around the system when the app shows a table that has been confirmed? Very disappointed of this lack of respect for the reservation made on line. Warning: don't make reservations on Yelp.

Chris O.

Yelp
Wife and two friends waited for 30 mins for waiter/waitress to get served and never did. A server was asked to inquire about a waiter and no one ever came. Several large parties there, so they returned menus to hostess and left for subway since they didn't have time before their show at theater. Menu was also the show menu, so only a third of regular menu. Won't be returning if they are only concerned about large parties.

Susan S.

Yelp
I didnt think it was very inviting. It is very large and open. No charm and just messy. I dont recall the food but must not have been spectacular as I wouldn't return

Marco S.

Yelp
The venture was simply amazing! The hostess greeted us with a smile and her happiness was contagious. The food was amazing and i if you haven't tried there old fashion then you haven't treated yourself.

Nefer W.

Yelp
Omg this place is amazing!!! I visited some really nice Mediterranean restaurants in NYC (and I'm pretty picky too), but this one did give me a surprise. This food we ordered today for lunch are freshly prepared and super delicious, the front desk and the waitress greeted us warmly, and the interior decoration is beautiful. It's a unique place in Minneapolis to go and we definitely will come back for the belly dancing.

Tom S.

Yelp
Not overly impressed with the quality here. Lamb was tasteless and no seasoning. Gyro stir fry was very over seasoned but tasted good otherwise.

Lisa H.

Yelp
It was busy when we arrived. There was a wait for the buffet. I felt good loading my plate with salad, roasted veggies, and lean meats. It is delicious food and good for vegetarians. I got a diet coke and needed to ask for a refill. By the way, a customer is allowed one refill on the pop. Several employees walked by and didn't ask to take our dirty plates or offer a refill. I am hoping it was because they were busy at the time. All in all it was a tasty lunch and by far healthier than a burger and fries. Update: Our server was much more attentive. When we left the table I returned to a refill and my plate had been taken. Very good. And we did get more than one refill! Con-there was a hair in the salad, but hey it happens.

Yelp
No I honestly think they microwave the food service is sub par and the food would be good if they were not lazy.

Yelp
This is a happening place on a Saturday night. Our party of 3 was quickly seated, thankfully. Then we watched as several large parties arrived & waited a long time for a table to open. Service was attentive. There are plenty of menu choices from small plates to share, salads, & large platters with a selection of entree items. I chose the Cruise platter. The chicken kebab had good grilled flavor but the chicken was overcooked. The gyro was the winner. Their hummus was smooth & blah...no flavor. The belly dancer performs every half hour & that was fun to watch. But, when she took a break I yearned for quieter music. Why does nearly every restaurant think that really loud piped-in music is preferred? I'm here to say it isn't.

Yelp
An institution in Burnsville. Great food, good prices, and nice ambiance. We often carry out as well.

Yelp
Love the lunch buffet here! So many options for a great price. The salads, hummus, tabouli, gyro, wings, and kabobs are all to die for. The baklava is sooo delicious! The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful, and clean. Great service as well. I have been here a couple of times now, and we haven't left disappointed.

Yelp
Pretty good place with lots of good buffet choices. Good services even I could see a hint of short staff. Did not disappoint, we will definitely be back. Notes: We haven't tried the menu because we fall in love with their buffet.
