The Best Miami Spice Brunch Menus 2022 - Eater Miami

"Sunday brunch at Meet Dalia in the Celino South Beach hotel can be experienced in the restaurant’s pastel and jewel-toned indoor dining room or in the outdoor patio, which overlooks the hotel’s pool. The Mediterranean feast starts out with choice of pastries and fruits; a bowl of acai yogurt made with orange, shaved dark chocolate, mint, honey, pistachio; or muesli, topped with coconut, pineapple, toasted pumpkin seeds, apple, and berries. The restaurant’s Spice menu second course options are Greek omelette made with spinach, feta, and roasted tomatoes; a special Breakfast Burger packed with lettuce, tomato, onion, hollandaise sauce, sunny-side egg, fries, or, for a $15 supplement, a dish of buttermilk fried chicken bathed in oregano, maple syrup, honey butter, and merigolds. A dessert of Greek yogurt and attiki honey and walnut makes for a refreshing sweet ending." - Juliana Accioly

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing breakfast experience this morning! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. Katya was absolutely lovely, kind, attentive, and made me feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you want to return to, not just for the food, but for the people. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed dining at Meet Dalia. I stayed at the Gabriel Miami South Beach, which is attached to the restaurant. The hostesses were friendly and offered me my choice of seating. I sat right by the sidewalk on one occasion and on the raised landing another time. I found being on the sidewalk too distracting. People walking along Ocean Drive occasionally bump your table as they pass along. The food was pretty good. I ordered the grilled chicken. The chicken breast was very thin and dried out a bit. However, it was well seasoned and flavorful. I also enjoyed the sides as well. On my second visit, I ordered the Ribeye. The steak was delicious, and so were the mashed potatoes and asparagus. This was a great meal. My only minor complaint is finding your waiter to checkout was a pain both visits. My meal was over, and the table cleared, and I still had to wait 15 minutes before I could get a waiter to bring the check.

Google
Ambience: This place offers three distinct vibes. Inside, it’s classy and elegant; by the poolside, it feels like a serene escape to Bali; and outside, you get a lovely contrast lush greenery on one side and the beach on the other, with people strolling by. We chose to sit outside, and the atmosphere was fantastic, relaxing and vibrant all at once. Food: The food was good and enjoyable. We tried the oysters, burrata, and spicy shrimp linguine. Each dish was well-prepared and tasty, making for a satisfying meal overall.

Katya was so awesome! Very sweet, kind young lady full on attention to my table. Julian made sure I was taken care of before during and after my meal. Even took some pics! Definitely above and beyond. Thanks!

We came for brunch and honestly regret it. The whole experience was frustrating. First, the server took away our brunch menus and claimed they didn’t have brunch — even though they very clearly do. The menu was already a mess to navigate, so that made things worse. Every time we had a question, the manager had to come over, and she acted like we were bothering her just by trying to get clarification. Not a good look. As for the food — yikes. The “pita” served with the dips was more like dried-out crackers, and they didn’t bother to refill it. The shrimp cocktail came out gritty and still had the vein in it. Absolutely unappetizing. The egg was supposed to be poached but showed up overcooked. The waffle was burnt. The fried egg? Also burnt. How do you mess up three separate items like that? We wanted a chill brunch, and this was the opposite — unwelcoming, disorganized, and poorly executed. Not coming back.

Google
Good vibes and Great music!! Gustavo is the man! He was attentive and made sure that my beer or glass was never empty! Definitely recommend coming here for happy hour! Get one get the other FREE!! One of the best services that I have received!!

Google
First and foremost, the dining room is absolutely beautiful and our server was fantastic. However, the food was pretty mediocre at most. I had an undercooked appetizer, the menu was slightly deceiving in portion sizing. For example if you tell me I'm getting an entire branzino, I'm expecting that head to be attached and not just a fillet. Again the service was good but food was very mediocre

Google
Plenty of seating outside in the morning. Fans going keep you cool without being a sweaty mess. Service could have been a little more attentive but wasn't horrible. Food was cooked well and delicious. Would def stop by again if I catch myself in the South Miami Beach area.

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant a 6 I 100% would. The service, atmosphere, and food was delicious! Our server Korey was on it! He made sure our water was filled and we were happy customers. I absolutely love Mediterranean food and Meet Dalia lived up to the expectation. We started out with the trio dip platter, out of the 3 the Tzatziki was the table favorite. It was unlike any tzatziki I've ever tasted, it was super thick. The pita which was served with the dish was fresh baked to order. Moving on, our two entree dishes, grilled and lemon chicken, were extraordinary! The lemon has the perfect amount of zest and the vegetables with the grilled chicken were seasoned to perfection. The inside was very clean and lovely, would eat here again!

Yelp
Had dinner at Meet Dalia on Ocean Drive and really enjoyed the evening. The ambiance was perfect--stylish, relaxed, and right on the beach. We had a Bloody Mary, Old Fashioned, and Margarita, all crafted nicely. Mehmet, our server, was fantastic--friendly and attentive, which made a big difference. We made a reservation just a few hours ahead and were seated easily. Food was a mixed bag. The seafood pasta was a bit meh--around 6/10 because the seafood didn't taste very fresh. But the special branzino was really good. We also got a kids cheeseburger (well done) and truffle fries, which I'd give a 7/10. One downside: street vendors kept approaching us selling flowers, cigars, and pictures while we were trying to enjoy dinner and the beautiful South Beach views. It was a little annoying and took away from the experience. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and solid service. Would return to try more but maybe skip the seafood pasta next time.

Yelp
Food 7/10 Ambiance 9/10 Service 7/10 Nice restaurant with average food in south beach that's across from the beach. Prices were reasonable but 20% gratuity fee is included and when we asked the waiter, he said it wasn't. For the meals posted we spent about $200 not including the gratuity and tax.

Yelp
*Consider this review to be more of a 3.5* With lots of choices on the ocean dr strip it can be overwhelming trying to pick a place for dinner. This restaurant is located as part of The Gabriel hotel. Prices are average (higher end but not crazy). Like the rest of the restaurants here they're eager to gain your patronage. You can literally negotiate deals for drinks / dinner before sitting down if you feel up to it! Since we were staying at the Gabriel we simply went there for convenience. It was our last night in Miami and thought it would be fun to watch the crowds of people streaming along the sidewalk. I'm not sure what kind of atmosphere this restaurant is going for. Music selection was all over the place. But it looked nice and the servers were energetic and friendly. We ordered sparkling water and I had an old fashioned. I'm not sure which bourbon they used, but it wasn't very good. It tasted pretty cheap but I was worried if I sent it back or asked for a different bourbon of choice I'd get hit w a steep up-charge so I decided not to say anything. For food we had the trio of dips w pita bread. It was good! The baba ghanoush was our least fav tho. For dinner my wife ordered the half lemon chicken and she enjoyed it. I had the spicy shrimp linguini (house made pasta) and was actually surprised by how much I liked it - and it was a nice large portion. Prices for the meals we ordered were fair - they did have some options that were priced extremely high for a restaurant hotel - I wouldn't get them here personally. Overall, a super solid experience. We were never rushed, had good food, and enjoyed people watching as they explored the night life. If you're staying at the Gabriel or a nearby hotel and don't feel like taking an uber out I'd say it's worth stopping here.

Yelp
Located inside the Gabriel Hotel, it is the restaurant on the property. The food was ok, prices were a bit high. We ordered a Greek omelette and an avocado toast. I thought the avocado toast was just average. The hard boiled egg looked over cooked. The omelette was way better. Toast was bit browner than expected but tasted good. My biggest issue with the place is the cleanliness. The planter had jelly on it. Service was a bit slow in the beginning but I think they only had one server on site.

Yelp
Service was 10/10 Bartender Tespi was very nice always made sure we were okay . Overall great Miami Experience

Yelp
Will return. This Mediterranean restaurant is on the main drag in South Beach's Ocean Dr. Great location, service and food. Fake flowers. Apparently, it's the Gabriel Miami South Beach, (Curio Collection), one of many Hilton properties in South Beach. Our server said the hotel doesn't have a kitchen - I'm wondering if this kind of marriage is common on Ocean Dr., or I misunderstood him. We chose to sit by the front row on the sidewalk, for a change: getting close to the pedestrians may not be everyone's cup of tea. We've a few small plates: they're all good.  Bathrooms are inside the hotel.

Yelp
Service was fine, food is far below average. In a town with amazing dining options I would find another option. Pictured is their "half chicken" which is a butterflied chicken breast with unseasoned box rice.

Angel N.

Yelp
I came to eat here for the high reviews I was extremely let down. I ordered the red fish snapper it was extremely dry and unseasoned. My partner order the lemon half chicken, the rice was dry along with beans. Not worth the hype and the price. Avoid. The only thing was the 40$ drink.

Yelp
Got green goddess and steak and eggs breakfast. Both were very good! They accommodated my no pork and no sugar requests. Atmosphere in front of the ocean drive was also great. Very beach vibe

Yelp
First time dining here. Location is prime right on ocean drive and is a take on Mediterranean. I came here with a party of two others. They have a good variety on their drink menu with multiple different sizes of drinks. They were well made with a good amount of alcohol. The calamari had good sizes of squid and was well seasoned. I had the spicy shrimp linguine. Overall it was well seasoned with shrimp that was cooked properly. The spicy part was a bit of a misnomer but nonetheless was enjoyable. I tried my other party members food as well. I thought the smoked salmon sandwich was the best thing the three of us got. The smoked flavor was amazing but not overpowering. Overall the food and ambiance was great. Special shout out to our server, Gustavo, who was attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable.
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
Good Mediterranean food with all day (you need to ask) happy hour drinks only--no food--noting you must order at min a medium cocktail and the 2nd one is free. This can be the same flavor or different--again noting the med cocktail is $29 for one and you get the other free). Connected to the Hilton Curio Gabriel hotel/Park.
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
Very cool spot obviously. The server Melissa recommended the white fish, Blanquillo? Might be misspelling but it was awesome! Had the Smoke Show cocktail. If you like Mezcal it's great. Melissa was A+. Listen to your server and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I spent our 5 year anniversary here and had the best time! The hotel is centrally located not only near the beach but also many good restaurants! The rooms are modern and cozy and there are two pools, one being on a rooftop. We had the best bartender Servet! He was personable and made a delicious espresso martini. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Tried this place after reading some good reviews . Any restaurant with a placard outside showing photos of food in my opinion is already a questionable choice - we sat down anyway to give it a try . Lobster bisque was overly thick and tasted like warm milk , salmon and steak were edible but the pasta with tomato sauce tasted like spaghettio's from a can. We were pretty disappointed in our meal overall, especially when other guests were smoking hookah pipes at nearby tables - also waitress did not get our order correct . South beach restaurants along that strip seemed similar so maybe our expectations were too high for this experience- our memories from several years ago visiting south beach was that it was a cool hip place to get a meal, now however, it's seedy and touristy.
google avatar

Yelp
Typical Ocean Blvd eatery, with outdoor dining and great people watching. Prices are definitely elevated but they do have happy hour drinks (no good though!), which is a nice 2-for-1. Wait staff is nice and appropriate attentive. Nice for a drink after some sunbathing
google avatar

Joan T.

Yelp
Shrimp linguine was so delicious. Drinks were also very yummy; I got the strawberry mango mojito. Service from Richard was excellent, always checking in with us and giving us the best recommendations for Miami! The restaurant itself is cool; just off the beach and the lights make the vibe so cool! Definitely recommend!!!
google avatar

Hokie F.

Yelp
Fun place to watch peeps and listen to music. Food is typical American/Mediterranean. I wish I could find my steak inside my sandwich.

Rae E.

Yelp
Maria was an awesome nice server! The spaghetti was tasty, the calamari was fresh and the hookah was on point. we will come back!
google avatar

Yelp
We flew in for a night, and locals recommended this place... so we came and were highly disappointed. The service sucked, the food was mediocre at best. The ambiance was nice, but that was it. I got the snapper and a drink and spent $88.00; that's unbelievable. We asked for water but never got it. We asked for ranch and waited FOREVER FOR IT. Our waitress checked us out before we were done because her shift was over. I've been a waitress before, and you don't do that. You wait til your table is done.I think it's incredibly OVERPRICED and not worth it at all. I didn't even get the French fries to accompany my meal. Save your money, go somewhere else.
google avatar

Kenny T.

Yelp
Me and partner where in Miami at South Beach for the first time on his birthday and Dalia was the first stop as we waited to check-in to our stay. We enjoyed a great brunch at Dalia! I had a classic steak and eggs as well as my partner and mimosas and phew what a kick off. The ambience was excellent listening to the ocean with light tunes and the service was even better. Our server was Mateo and while he was new he was superb! He was tentative, efficient, and pleasant! This will be our opener every year we stop in South Beach!
google avatar

Soraia B.

Yelp
We had a reservations here based on online reviews and images, nothing at the actual restaurant matched the online description. After sitting down restaurant staff called me to ask if I was coming to my reservation, despite already being at a table. Very overpriced, frozen food, service seemed very disorganized and not very restaurant-like. Bad ambiance with traffic and loud noises occurring constantly. Hookahs located at each table and the waitstaff was seen smoking hookahs in between going to tables. Waiters were very pushy to try and upsell/sell more drinks in overt and rude manner. Images and menu descriptions were false/misleading - don't go here!
google avatar

Keemy U.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with sidewalk seating. The avocado toast was nice to try but the potatoes were really good. The mimosas were very good! The service was decent. The workers gave us time to think about what we wanted and they were friendly.
google avatar

Jose P.

Yelp
Richard provided the best customer service. Gave great recommendations for food and drinks. Very attentive and charming. Check this place out. Well worth it!

Yelp
Enrique is a STAR. Made our bachelorette trip that much better. Drinks were perfect. Pool is great. BUR ENRIQUE IS AN ANGEL. I cannot give a better review I would stay here/hang here/drink here just if he was here. He made this whole vacation and hay much better WE LOVE HIM.

Sara S.

Yelp
Fresh meals, juice, and drinks. Everything we tried was amazing. Lobby setting overlooking the pool and pizza ovens, is sectioned off into to smaller areas to give a cozy feel.

Jonathan T.

Yelp
Great service and very attentive. She took care of us and others at the pool didn't miss a beat
google avatar

Rebekah Z.

Yelp
This place is a total ripoff. I don't know how they got so many 5 star reviews. We ordered the octopus to start and it had one piece, not the pile of octopus like in the photos. And the vegetable sides were previously frozen and mushy. Our drinks tasted like they had almost zero alcohol. It was over $300 for 4 people, including only 2 "alcoholic" beverages. I wouldn't go back there for half that price. Plus, once they brought our food we didn't see the waiter again. And when we paid the waiter didn't want to tell us about the 20% surcharge...he was expecting us to tip on top of that!
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
This place does an illegal bait and switch. They have a happy hour on their website advertised which is completely different when you get there. None of the food items on the website are offered and hardly any of the drinks are discounted. This is completely a bait and switch scam. Avoid this place at all costs.

Gina L.

Yelp
Atmosphere and service were phenomenal. The breakfast was "just ok". The potatoes were deep fried cubes and the ham & cheese omelette was 'meh'. If I closed my eyes I would have thought I was at Denny's - not this otherwise fabulous spot in Miami.
google avatar

Ivana L.

Yelp
how did this place have a 4.5 rating .... the people who have eaten here and rated it must be from a state that the sun don't shine. the food was HORRENDOUS, drinks were good, service was okay. I'm sorry but don't waste your money here. $16 for calamari that was so fried and hard to eat, steak sandwich was black and un edible. My chicken Cesar wrap which i thought wouldn't be messed up... overwhelming with dressing and chicken was so dried and burnt. 20% gratuity is added on all checks.

Chad O.

Yelp
Food hit the spot after a day of walking g the beach Ege made the night very entertaining
google avatar

Shawn A.

Yelp
Ate and drank here a couple times while staying at The Gabriel hotel in South Beach. We really enjoyed eating outside on the sidewalk and people watching on Ocean ave. The staff here, especially the hosts/managers are excellent. Always super friendly and attentive, they always went out of their way to make our 4 year old daughter feel special, even buying her dessert one night. Food here was pretty decent. We started off with a pepperoni pizza which was pretty good. Next I ordered a ribeye steak and added King crab legs. The steak was exactly to my liking and was very flavorful. Quality of the steak was okay, I found the steak to be a little grisly, but I still really enjoyed it. Crab legs weren't great quality either, so I'd probably pass on those next time. My girlfriend had the snapper which she enjoyed. Another thing of note is that This place does offer really big cocktails. They are a little on the weak side which is probably a good thing. We ordered 2 large margaritas and I was worried my gf would be wasted after drinking hers, but fortunately she was not. Definitely buzzed but not wasted. Overall I would say this place is great for a hotel restaurant. Great staff, decent food and drinks. Will def eat here again next time I stay at the Gabriel.
google avatar

Elora R.

Yelp
It's never a good thing when there is a cockroach next to your table. It's also not a good thing when the manager acts like it's perfectly fine for there to be a roach by the table and doesn't feel the need to compensate for our ruined dining experience. Idk, is the health department ok with roaches at dinner service? It's also never a good thing when the restaurant is refusing to give your car back when your friend has the bill in her hand (as she is trying to get the restaurant to do the right thing) and you are trying to leave.
google avatar

Adriana P.

Yelp
Told us we couldn't use the happy hour deal during happy hour ? Weird . Charged us 2 extra drinks as well. #Crazy
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
Microwave food... and extremely slow service. They have like four bosses watching two servers. Got our water at the same time we got food. The food is straight from the freezer but has been microwaved. The bar drinks are good though!
google avatar

Anthony P.

Yelp
Beautiful bar and excellent cocktails expertly crafted by the in-house mixologist Lau inside the Gabriel hotel. Amazing vibe and delicious Gimlet and Daquiris! Highly recommend if you're in South Beach!
google avatar

Rayeann L.

Yelp
Enrique is our KING! Best service in Miami EVER!!! He had so much energy and was so so sweet we wanted to take him home with us. Love this hotel and this staff!

Jessica R.

Yelp
The Huervos Rancheros was very disappointing. It was basically scrambled eggs on top of colored nacho chips and salsa with some cilantro on it. I had to add salt and hot sauce to give it enough flavor to get down. The pancakes were very thick and dry. The eggs Benedict w/ smoked salmon was very good which is why I rated it at a 3. Waiter was very friendly but I had to wait around for the check so long that the rest of my party left. The place itself was nice, but definitely not worth a trip back.

Angela H.

Yelp
Food and service were great -- we had such a fun night! Gustavo was super fun and made sure we had everything we needed

Shiela Y.

Yelp
The ambiance is nice. The prices, however, and portions are a rip off. A half-chicken I ordered came out as a single chicken breast. (When I brought this to the attention of the server, he said that the fact that the chicken was organic resulted in the smaller portion. Considering the entree was listed as a half chicken, I dont know how it being organic resulted in the leg and thigh disappearing!) The salmon is a 3" square. The pasta dishes are heavy on the amount of pasta but light on the add in's (seafood, etc.). They charge a mandatory 20% service charge and are then angry if you don't pay another 20% on top of that. Might be nice for cocktails, but go elsewhere for dinner.

Sharon D.

Yelp
Fabulous service by Richard! Wonderful food great location! Fantastic mojitos! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Luanna R.

Yelp
The food, the service from Olyn, and the Ambience were perfect. We ordered breakfast options even though it was passed breakfast time - it was nice of them to do that!

Lawrence C.

Yelp
Julieta was absolutely amazing talking about first class service. She was quick to answer any questions that we had and made sure we had everything we needed.
google avatar

Lynette B.

Yelp
Dalia is a lovely Mediterranean restaurant in the Art Deco District so it is great for people-watching if you sit outside but not in the thick of the chaos further up Ocean Drive. We arrived for dinner a bit early, around 5:30, and they sat us and let us order drinks while we waited for the kitchen to open at 6:00. Their cocktail menu was good but we decided on a bottle of wine. They have a limited selection but with some good options. We started with the calamari and baba ganoush. Really enjoyed the dipping sauce that accompanied the calamari. We then split the surf n turf, basmati rice and lemon potatoes. My step-mother ordered the snapper. Everything looked delicious. The surf n turf was tasty. I did not try the snapper. We ended with the greek custard pie - not too sweet but with their apple ice cream it is perfect. Wish it came with a bigger scoop of ice cream, though. Service was good. The quality was is notch above many of the restaurants in this area. I would return and hopefully they will have their moussaka back on the menu, which was the main reason I wanted to come here.
google avatar

Prasen S.

Yelp
I ordered calamari, shrimp cocktail, oysters & chicken wings. But seems dreadful. Calamari was not hot.. poor service. Nobody came to check on us. We ordered from hostess. They don't care as they have mandatory 20% gratuity. So they put shitty service. Other tables next to us also were complaining about the service

Vy H.

Yelp
Richard was super amazing! 10/10 recommend him as a host. The shrimp linguine was very good. The drinks were also great. Happy hour is nice along the beach'.
google avatar

Kevin J.

Yelp
Servet poured great drinks and I love the atmosphere of this establishment. The Bossa nova music was the icing on the cake.

Yelp
Comida deliciosa, buen servicio Olyn nuestro mesero muy amable y servicial. Nos encanta este lugar. El ambiente y la vista son increibles. Súper recomendado
