This is a very uncomfortable experience in this store. We ordered red bean soup. The soup looks like it was something collected back from leftover from previous customers. In addition, the bowl looks like it was not well cleaned. There are spots of previous food materials on the bowl. And the food tasted bad, seems have been cooked for some time and they just keep getting it from the large pot instead of cooking something new. Considering the price, I would not come again and would suggest anyone planning to go here find somewhere else.

Google
I really love the dessert bowl. I’ve been craving this since a long time. My bowl contains grass jelly, boba, taro balls, vanilla ice cream, taro paste and shaved ice. I love it so much though I find the taro paste a bit weird with the mix. I would love it more if they have matcha ice cream option instead of vanilla. However the place looks a bit sad (the vibes). It’s clean but I feels sad. Overall a very tasty dessert to enjoy during summer

Google
Taiwanese shaved ICE and Desert shop Overall: They serve a variety of Taiwan deserts that include Shaved Ice, Tofu pudding, egg waffles with ice cream, Mochi pudding, red bean and grass jelly soups, even hot read bean soups. I have tried the shaved ice, and various grace jelly soups and I feel the shaved iced is not as good as the korean ones in K Town. I prefer the Signature items, like the soups and grass jelly deserts. I got the Double Taro Signature and that one is very good, and also tried the Taro Paste Volcano Shaved Ice and didn't like that as much. The large sizes of the shaved ices are really for 3 - 4 ppl, so be careful to order the medium if you have 2 people.

Google
Absence of a wait, this place is pretty good. This trendy desert shop is from Taiwan. They have hot and cold desserts. The base is generally shaved ice with herbal jelly or tofu pudding base. The toppings that come on top of it range from red bean, mung bean, milk, syrup, taro ball, etc. The drinks are pretty interesting as well. Recommend anything with the small taro ball (it tastes amazing)!

Google
The dessert was good. Not too sweet. Their dessert was good. I enjoyed the Hot almond drinks with Taro. The place is a bit run down with very limited seatings inside. The outdoor benches is very very limited. It is a great place to People watch outside. If you like dessert, it’s a good place to grab some sweets!

Google
The egg waffle was very yummy, and nice on a hot day. Spots of chocolate were a nice burst of sweetness 😋. I also enjoyed the catchy mandopop they played. (Benches were good for people watching)

Google
Meet Fresh is my top three dessert places. If I go to east village with friends or by myself, I probably will stop by and order a bowl. The glass jelly and brown sugar shaved ice is so classic and fresh. My favorite item is taro and almond pudding. How can they make taro so tasty and yummy!! What is the secret! Besides, chewy and sweet taro ball is also a very nice choice!

Google
My son wanted milk tea so we figured this would be a safe bet since it is a chain from Taiwan. Very good, way better than random shops around the city, however at 50% sugar level it was still sweet. We were going for more like, slightly sweet. Delicious anyway and the price was 5.75 for a good size cup of oolong milk tea. Plenty of seating at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Will definitely go back if I’m in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Main thing is that this place doesn't feel very clean. There were a lot of flies, which were annoyingly flying around our food, and one even drowned in it. There tray return area was also overflowing, despite them not being busy in the front / no one in line. Hot almond soup A ($12) - this was a large portion, but it was mostly soup and not many toppings. It tastes like if you made an almond croissant into a soup form. The taro balls were quite small and not as chewy as I'd hope they be. Same with the boba balls.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything tasted very fresh! My go to is the signature icy grass jelly which includes shaved ice, grass jelly, and taro balls. Anything with taro here is my favorite. The mochi items are also very good as is the ice cream. Limited seating here. Order at register.
google avatar

Yelp
Service wise the place makes your order pretty fast after ordering. Can't say much about ambience since it is near a few campuses so you see mostly students coming in and it is a mixed bag. We went during the Thai tea event and I can't say it was very good. It was very sweet which was expected with Thai tea which uses condensed milk but I got it with boba and the boba felt like it has been made a long time ago like very little chew before it breaks apart.

Yelp
We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and it was relatively empty. There are a decent amount of tables and lots of natural lighting in the store. You order at the counter, find your own seat, and clean up after yourself when you are finished. The bowls are expensive for a snack but they were filling. If you come after a meal 2 people could share 1 bowl. The taro balls had a good chew to them and the grass jelly and shaved ice were flavorful and refreshing. My friend said theirs tasted bitter and the peanuts were only okay.

Yelp
I recently visited Meet Fresh, an Asian dessert place, and I must say my experience was less than satisfactory. The place seems overrated based on the hype I've seen. I tried their grass jelly with shaved ice, and it was just average. The portion was huge, but unfortunately, the taste didn't match the size. It was bland and not enjoyable at all. The service was another disappointment. The waiter who assisted me was incredibly rude. As someone who checks in on Yelp for offers or discounts at new places, I showed him a Yelp offer for Meet Fresh. Without even looking, he curtly said it wasn't available. When I asked if there was any replacement for the unavailable item, he bluntly said no. Overall, my experience  was quite bad. The mediocre dessert combined with the poor service left me with no desire to return. I can't recommend this place based on my visit.

Yelp
Great shaved ices on a hot day. Haven't had this in a long time n perfect on summer day. Share with a loved one

Yelp
There is some seating - a mix of high tables, booth/(uncomfortable) boxy chairs, and a high counter by the window. For our party of 5, we were really squishing in by pulling 3 small tables together by the booths. It's definitely the type of food you'd want to eat there rather than takeout, especially since all of us got the shaved ice dishes. But in general it gives a vibe of dirtiness; the area where you put the done trays is close to the back of the shop where also a ton of cleaning supplies and other unused junk seems to be sitting. And the bathroom was really dirty, smelly, no toilet paper, almost-done soap - gross vibes. As for the food, it was good. My friends and I shared the Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice, Large size. The ingredients were pretty good and what you'd expect, but we were left with a good chunk of ice with not much flavor just because there is a big block of it. Sharing it amongst 3 people makes it pretty affordable though, which is nice. I went to a Meet Fresh in Atlanta. And I understand the real estate there is a lot more generous and plentiful there than in NYC, but still. It would do Meet Fresh well to have a nicer environment for people to enjoy the dessert. Oh also, this location does not follow the Yelp check-in coupon (of a free tea can, whatever that is) anymore.

Yelp
I freaking love Meet Fresh and this location is no different. Came here in a sweltering hot day and this was such a great break from that. Was lucky enough to snag the last seats on a weekend afternoon. - Icy Grass Jelly Signature - Soft grass jelly with grass jelly flavored shaved ice all in a delicious creamer, what is there not to like? Eating this transports me back to Taiwan's hot summers. Every ingredient here is made to perfection and the quality is as good here as in anywhere else. - Icy Grass Jelly Combo A - Is there a difference between this and the first one? Not really but there is peanuts in here which I would watch out for, because it's not really made clear on the menu. I think instead of putting it as the description, this information should be said on the title of the menu item just so people who are allergic to nuts are made aware. I love Meet Fresh and this place is no different. I will say that their grass jelly dishes are becoming more and more expensive overtime, but you can definitely share a dish with someone else due to their big portion sizes.

Yelp
It's a Meet Fresh, so you know what you're gonna get as far as food is concerned, just like with any other chain. The cold grass jelly dessert is always my go to with taro balls and sweet potato balls. They were cooked well with the right anoint of chew and bite. Meet Fresh is something I'm always craving when I'm back in a city with lots of Asian food for some reason Although I don't usually go for them, the hot desserts are good as well. Warming, not too sweet, and not too decadent. It's nice to have dessert without feeling too guilty. The venue is well lit but is a little small, so seating is a bit hit or miss depending on when you go. Service is what you'd expect. Order, pick up your order, and bus your tray when you're done.
google avatar

Yelp
Their ice grass jelly are the best! Their herbal tea are a thirst quencher during the hot summer nights. The servers were friendly and took our order. There are several places to sit. Would recommend here for eating desserts!

Yelp
3.5/5 stars Ah. Love hate with meet fresh. Most times it's the only thing around that offers taro balls and Taiwanese dessert. But it just doesn't pack the same punch. I lived in Taiwan for a year and I miss it and the food all the time. Meet fresh is enough to satisfy the temporary craving but it just makes me miss the real thing even more. Tofu pudding needs more flavor and is a bit too coarse. Taro balls are tad too starchy.
google avatar

Diane J.

Yelp
Not sure why there's so much hate for this location. My friend and I enjoyed our shared dessert and had a great time catching up. We ordered the Double Taro Signature, which came with a scoop of coconut ice cream and a scoop of taro, along with chewy rice cakes, red bean shaved ice, and grass jelly.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Took wayyyy too long to get a boba tea. There were quite literally no other customers. Took 15 and it was mediocre

Yelp
Been CRAVING this for months and finally made it out. Small location, but found seating easily. Sizeable portion, two of us shared an ice grass jelly with potaro balls and taro balls and were pretty full. Love that the ice has grass jelly flavor, taro balls super chewy and yummy. Dish dropoff is in the hallway behind the ordering counter.
google avatar

CHRISTINE Z.

Yelp
Great place and has outlets for people to work which is always handy. Good selection and extensive menu. The boba is really good too and they've got tons of great desserts that are hard to come by.
google avatar

Sophia W.

Yelp
Perfect for not-too-sweet desserts! The grass jelly is so refreshing and yummy, and the rice balls are super chewy. You can add lots of different toppings depending on what you like, and I love adding the creamer on top too. It's a perfect summer dessert. Staff are friendly and fast, and there are plenty of tables inside to sit and enjoy the desserts in the pleasant atmosphere.

Yelp
My wife and I planned on trying this place while in Flushing but we happened to walk past the one in NYC. We decided to go in and try it out. I didn't have high expectations but my wife really wanted to try it. We got one of their specials/recommended shaved ice. It had all sorts of taro mochi and boba in it. It was so freaking good and refreshing. We had already walked around NYC that day for over 10 miles and when we sat down at their little counter to eat our dessert we felt so refreshed. Such a light, yet delicious treat. We wish they had more locations near us. Definitely give this place a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Been hearing all this hype about Meet Fresh from some West Coast friends, so was excited to try this location in New York. My order was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Staff was polite. I enjoyed the taro shaved ice dessert, not bad if you're in the neighborhood. It's definitely shareable with two or three people.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
My absolute favorite dessert spot! The signature icy grass jelly (+vanilla ice cream) always hits the spot! Expect chewy mochi along with a guilt free ice+grass jelly mix. The creamer on top is the perfect way to blend everything together. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Meet Fresh is pretty popular in TaiWan. I've been here one other time. The first experience was a meh. That was a couple of years ago. Then when I was walking past by it the other day, I thought to myself, "Could today's dessert be different?" It's not. The red bean dessert doesn't look appetizing. It looks far different than the images on the menu. Though the staff are super nice and friendly. The space is always filled with young folks, chit-chatting their nights away. I find the place's ambiance nice but the food itself lacks quality.
google avatar

Victoria K.

Yelp
I finished this dessert and came out the other side just feeling unfulfilled. We got the signature almond soup-- they had ran out of red bean so instead we got grass jelly substituted. So in all we had the mini q balls, boba, and grass jelly in the almond soup base. I'm a fan of the flavor of the almond soup and would recommend it if you're trying to decide between the bases! BUT. This was supposed to be a hot one, but it was lukewarm, veering toward cold when we got it, which was already unappetizing. It felt like the soup had been sitting out in the open for hours instead of freshly made for us. While I'm aware it isn't made fresh, it could at least be a hotter temperature when given to us. Our order came out quickly, and I wouldn't have minded waiting the extra few minutes for them to heat it up. The different components were fine alone (the mini q balls, grass jelly, and boba), it was just underwhelming, I'm not sure how else to say it.
google avatar

Charmaine T.

Yelp
I love Meet Fresh with my whole heart BUT -1 star because during my latest visit, they were about to close. And I wish they would have said something about running out of tofu pudding instead or just serving me the scraps Also the potaro balls tasted very off that day - almost like it's sour/spoilt, might have been because it's the end of the day already and it's been sitting there the entire day. But still, should've been careful. Am not giving them less stars because this is usually my favorite Chinese dessert spot in NYC. Just thought I'll provide some feedback here for visibility.

Ww H.

Yelp
Food still good. Place is gross. Ice and drinks are good as they have always been. The place itself is disgusting though. Baseboards all darkened, walls stained with dripping drinks, floors sticky and gross, door handles all wonky. Place just needs a day off to get repainted and touched up - otherwise patrons continue to feel gross just sitting in here.

Yelp
I was here with a big party of 8 at around 9pm. There was a long line and yet the wait was not so bad. I had a bias of not going to a chain dessert place as a dessert lover especially when the chain is outside the original country... Trust me this place is pretty much my go to place when I visited my hometown and God I wish the items are the same. Wait time is painful. We ordered online, and when it says "ready" on the app. Nope, they haven't yet started. Then we waited in the site for another 15 min before the foods were settled. I saw a long waiting line and so I'm wondering who they are prioritizing. Doesn't look to be either the in store customers nor the online orders...
google avatar

Elaine T.

Yelp
My friend and I came here got the icy taro ball signature and it was a very satisfying treat to cool us down on a hot Saturday afternoon. It came with sweet potato balls, pearls, taro paste, and two types of taro balls on a bed of ice. The balls had a satisfying mochi texture, but of the two taro balls, only the dark purple ones had noticeable taro flavor. We also thought that it would have been much better had the ice been shaved ice like in bingsoo rather than crushed ice, especially since at the end we encountered large ice clumps that we couldn't break apart. Our total was just under $11, relatively affordable as the portion size was more than comfortable for splitting.
google avatar

Tracy F.

Yelp
Two stars taken away mainly because of the lady who was working there on Saturday who had a terrible attitude and looked like she hated the job and just wants to leave. She did not greet us, did not make eye contact and did not hear my order - all of which are top customer service skills. Aside from that terrible in person experience, the dessert itself was pretty good. Grass jelly, red beans, tapioca & all that good stuff - I would recommend.
google avatar

Yessenia F.

Yelp
This place is right next to St. Marks! I met up with a friend here during a hot day, so it was super refreshing to order bingsu. We definitely planned to have some shaved ice, but it seemed like everyone in the area had the same idea! A lot of items on the menu were sold out that day. Luckily for us, the staff was really nice and able to accommodate us with our orders. We got the Mangoberry Milk Shaved Ice, which was sweet and flavorful. It also had so much fresh fruit! Instead of ice cream (since they had run out), we ordered almond pudding, which was an unexpectedly delicious treat. We also had taro pudding - which was okay but not what we anticipated. It tasted very bland - even after adding in sweetener. I think next time, we'll try the Icy Taro Ball series, which has more toppings!
google avatar

Elizabeth X.

Yelp
I love coming here for Asian dessert on a sweltering day. It's almost always pretty busy in here. Staff could be warmer. It's almost hard to find a seat but we've managed to, each time we've come. Desserts aren't cheap, but it's New York :/ The large shave ice are nearly $20 after tax. But the toppings are delicious. Sometimes, there could be more condensed/evaporated milk on the ice to provide flavor after toppings are gone. It just depends on who you got that day to make your dish, I suppose. Overall, it's great and I'd return as it's the only one in my area.

Yelp
Cue the Q Mochi and Caramel Pudding from Meet Fresh in East Village, Manhattan, NYC with me... My friend recommended this spot and since I was in the area at the time, I picked some treats up to-go to bring back to his place. When I arrived, their sign was completely blocking one door and partially blocking the other one. As someone who's worked multiple jobs in the food industry before, I get not wanting customers to come in last minute. Or to be the customer who comes in last minute. But it was still an hour before closing, so it seemed a bit early to me. Especially since it's just a dessert and drink spot. Even when I came in, the two employees working at the counter looked at me with a bewildered look. I kindly stated I had an order for pick-up and I gave my friend's name and because it was a men's name they didn't seem to believe me, and asked for a copy of the receipt/order. He grabbed the order and silently handed it to me, and I was on my way. As for the food itself, the Q Mochi & Caramel pudding was decent. I liked the flan-like texture of the pudding, it just wasn't that flavorful unfortunately. I did like the boba that was included. I will say the Q Mochi was more flavorful and I enjoyed it. I didn't get a video, but my friend ordered a Black Sugar Milky Boba shaved ice. Even after transporting it for about 25 minutes and letting it sit out for 30 minutes, my friend's ice for his shaved ice was still hard as a brick. It's good that they make the ice so it won't melt right away, but it was almost too frozen. And didn't have that shaved consistency. He said he liked the flavor tho. So it would probably be a dessert best served when you opt to dine-in. I would consider giving them another chance, as they do look to have a variety of delicious offerings on their menu. Here's to second times the charm!
google avatar

Richard T.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed to my visit to Meet Fresh. Came in 30 minutes before closing, ordered a coco sago signature , but ended up getting a "dessert" clearly made in a rush. Felt like it was just a whole bunch of ingredients slopped together and it also tasted like very mediocre as well.
google avatar

Caro J.

Yelp
I love Taiwanese desserts and was so glad to find this dessert place here. I've been here two times now, and can't recommend their dessert soup enough! Some of the menu items are seasonal and rotate depending on if it's winter or summer. The portion size is good, there's plenty of seating (at least in the afternoon) for customers to eat with a small group of friends. The best thing about ordering the warm dessert soup is that the mochi and the glutinous rice balls/ tang yuan are super chewy and delicious. Great for a short stop after lunch.
google avatar

Shirley H.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the Cold Coco Sago #B which has mini sweet potato & taro balls, red bean, sago, and two big balls of taro paste in coconut milk(?). The dessert was WAYYYY too sweet! Especially that taro paste ball which I didn't like and just a nibble makes me cringe from the sweetness. Everything else is fine if only the sugar level could be toned down. After halfway through, my friend asked the worker for a cup of shaved ice which definitely helped. That is what they need to add to this dessert: A LOT OF ICE! The music playing was quite loud inside the store but still bearable to have a conversation. There are customer restrooms in the back past the cashier though you have to ask for the passcode.
google avatar

Sandy Y.

Yelp
Never really much of a wait for seats and for the desserts. Perfect asian style dessert that is savory, somewhat sweet, and filling. Both the double taro signature and cold purple rice signature was good.
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
Huge huge selection of desserts in Saint marks place. Lots of great East Asian desserts here - from hot mochi balls to shave iced. Affordable and delicious - great hang with friends after dinner!
google avatar

Kim X.

Yelp
I haven't had shaved ice in so long. At first I thought 15 dollars for shaved ice was too expensive but after seeing how huge it was, I could understand the price. The shaved ice was very good! I would come back again to try the other options. The herbal thing didn't quite meet expectations. We barely made a dent in it. I would definitely come back again for the shaved ice. I may even try the strawberry one next time!
google avatar

Riki J.

Yelp
I didn't know there was a Meet Fresh in NYC. I'm originally from LA and love going to MeetFresh there. They have more traditional desserts with ingredients like red bean, actual tarp paste, mochi, boba, sesame balls, etc. If you like dessert on the sweeter side, you can't go wrong with the egg waffle pancake with icecream. The waffles are warm with crispy edges and the icecream is cool and rich. It's an amazing combo.
google avatar

Wesley K.

Yelp
Reading all the reviews and just seriously smiling to myself. I know about Meet Fresh because I am from California. You literally come here to get Taiwanese desserts and not the milk tea/drinks. It's like an item they have to earn more money, but doesn't mean they specialize in it. A similar analogy is like ordering the food of a similar culture that isn't what they make: ordering Thai food at a Singaporean place. Usually unless one's taste buds are attuned and can sense the difference, one will feel disappointment. I ordered the Ice Grass Jelly Signature ($9.75 + tax). It tasted relaxing and made me feel so ease and at home. Also, I noticed that people order take-out for their desserts and it's honestly not the same. Eating it fresh at the store vs carrying it degrades the item. I definitely would come back as it's basically comfort food for me.
google avatar

Chaehee L.

Yelp
I got the Brown Sugar milk shaved ice and it tasted okay. The ice cream was my favorite part but it was alright overall. I do wish there were more places that sell shaved ice.. They also dont have a lot of seating tho, so we had to stand to eat which was less than ideal.
google avatar

Koya Q.

Yelp
This place is cute and the servers were friendly, but I was a little disappointed. This drink wasn't very flavorful. Milk tea is my go-to, but maybe something else would have been better. If we're talking chains, I'd rather get Gong Cha.
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
I love Meet Fresh but I am guilty of getting the same thing here - Icy Grass Jelly with taro balls, ice cream, taro paste and creamer. I've tried their other items and it was only okay, hence the 1 star dock. Price: They are bit on the pricey side but I don't get it often so it's okay. Service: 4/5 - I feel indifferent about their service. They don't really go above and beyond. They take your order, buzz you when your order is done and you clean up after yourself. Food: 4/5 - As I mentioned before, I usually get the same thing every time I come here because the other items were only okay. I've tried their Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, Tofu pudding with taro balls, a few of their drinks, and the Icy Grass Jelly Signature (my fav). Icy Grass Jelly Signature - As if you didn't catch on, this is my favorite haha. This dessert is perfect for a hot summer day! This dish based with half grass jelly ice and half grass jelly topped with taro balls, taro paste, creamer and ice cream. The taro balls have such a great chewy texture. Meet Fresh's taro balls are probably my favorite taro balls. Next time, I would probably order it without the taro paste. I was not a fan of the texture. It was too paste-y. I ended up taking it out. If they used condensed milk instead of creamer, it would make this dessert even better! Q Moshi Milk Shaved Ice - I recommend you share this. It's pretty big. I liked the toppings but the ice part lacked flavor. Maybe if they had less ice, you can taste the flavoring of the ice more. Tofu Pudding - I think this was only okay and overpriced. I can get a more authentic tofu pudding in Chinatown for a cheaper price. Drinks - Their drinks weren't memorable. It tasted like drinks I can get elsewhere.

Yelp
I'm so screwed. Echoing from my friend who's a fellow Yelper: this place is 100% responsible for my obesity. The boba here is next level. Red bean + grass jelly milk tea mhmmmm ($5). Big giant cups, tea brewed to perfection. Also pretty cute designs. Great Covid precautions. Heard great things about their shaved ice so would try that next time. Goodbye new year's resolution...
google avatar

Yan Xiu C.

Yelp
Was great for a hot summer day!! So delicious and ample seating. Service was quick, self serve. It was a lot even to share for two, so great price for what you're getting! Would definitely recommend. The shaved ice was not watery and tasted like brown sugar boba. Will be back soon to try other menu options!
google avatar

Paula W.

Yelp
Taiwanese shaved ice is so good here and the portions are worth it for the price. Usually we would get the mango shaved Ice but I know it's seasonal so during fall and winter (yes we love shaved ice even when it's freezing out), we get one of their regular menu item.

Yelp
My sister and I passed by this Meet Fresh location a few weeks prior on our way to dinner, and since the two of us love Meet Fresh, we decided to stop by afterward and grab a little something. Unfortunately, our visit left much to be desired and we walked out feeling altogether quite unfulfilled. When we arrived, we ordered the Q Mochi which is advertised to come with 8 pieces of mochi (4 original flavored and 4 brown sugar-flavored), caramel sauce, and toasted coconut flakes. The process of placing our order was pretty smooth asides from the fact that the cashier seemed to struggle with scanning our barcode on the Meet Fresh app. After placing our order, we looked for a table (there were plenty since the establishment was completely empty) before hearing our order being called at the counter. When my sister went to retrieve our order at the counter, she noticed that it didn't look quite right--she knew since it was different from what was pictured on their menu and we had also ordered it previously at another Meet Fresh location--and asked the staff, "Isn't there supposed to be some kind of sauce on this?" Only then did the staff member say, "We're out of sauce." The end. No "We're sorry, but we're all out of caramel sauce," but just "We're out of sauce." I mean, do the staff not do inventory? Had we been told earlier, perhaps we just might have ordered something else. Not to make a big deal out of it, but without the sauce, and the toasted coconut flakes, the mochi wasn't all that good. The texture was there, and the brown sugar mochi tasted slightly better than the original flavored mochi since there was a subtle sweetness from the brown sugar, but again, it was pretty underwhelming. TL;DR: Definitely not a location I'd recommend to others.

Yelp
I was a fan of Meet Fresh when I was in Taiwan and California. We even detoured to their location in Montreal since we would like to show our support to the brand that originated from Taiwan. We were super disappointed with our recent visit. The environment was disgusting and no staff tried to maintain it; the service was horrible, rude and reluctant. We ordered a shaved ice bowl and the staff told us to wait for about 20 minutes which was kind of bad. After 15 minutes, we asked the staff about our order and it was already ready. We felt appreciated that they had our order prepared earlier until we unpacked the container. The shaved ice was melted completely already so we brought back and requested a new one. The staff was unhappy and told us the ice underneath was fine but actually not. We totally understood that the timing for ice was difficult to control so we suggested the owner should have a better way to communicate with customers to know about their orders. The environment of outdoor dining was really bad. There is a public trash can by the stores and it was piled up at noon. The staff even brought their own trash from the store and stacked it on top of the trash mountain. There are better options for Taiwanese desserts or boba tea in NYC so we definitely won't visit again.

Yelp
Got the brown sugar shaved ice. I was surprised of how hot the syrup boba was. Everything went well together. The underwhelming part is people dont know how to clean after themselves. There is only 2 staff and no one wipes down the tables. Overall good dessert spot.

Yelp
My roommate and I have been on a mission to find the best boba in EV. So far Meet Fresh is a top competitor just because of their quality consistency. Their milk teas are always well made and boba is always dependably mediocre. They also had a good boba to tea ratio which is v important. Overall I will definitely return here and hopefully try more of their desserts the next time!!

Yelp
This is the Icy Grass Jelly Signature i just ordered and delivered to my office, totally different than what I'd ordered before. Inside there are very tiny taro ball, none of the big and chewy one. The grass jelly all melting.. Totally not worth for $11 each. So disappointed.

Yelp
Yay to traditional Asian and not-obscenely-sweet desserts! Also yay to incredibly helpful waitstaff who walked me through the menu and helped me customize a non-dairy bowl! Opted for an Icy Taro Ball Signature (their most popular, I believe) but swapped out the taro ball for brown sugar boba balls, and some purple and orange nuggets whose names I forgot. Overall a solid dessert mix that def should be shared. The shaved ice is lightly sweet and herbal-ly , super refreshing. This paired well w our toppings, which were glutinous/chewy, but the two of us managed to off it in one go. Somewhat limited indoor seating.
