Outdoor Dining In Culver City, Palms, And Mar Vista - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"French bistro Meet In Paris took one more step toward going full Parisian when they opened their sidewalk patio, where you can drink wine and order one of the 12(!) different kinds of moules frites on the menu." - brett keating

16 Brunch Spots You Can Walk Into - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Yes, this Culver City spot has a terrible name. But it’s also a place where we can get steak frites and/or crepes for brunch, so it’s the kind of thing we’re willing to move past. They also do an $16 bottomless brunch deal that might make you forget a few more things. This is one of the least corporate-feeling restaurants in downtown Culver, but somehow you can roll in on a Saturday and sit right down." - brant cox, brett keating

The Best Bottomless Brunch Deals In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"We hate the name of this place as much as you do, but once you get past that, you realize this informal cafe in downtown Culver is actually pretty great. The food is solid, the people are nice, and the sidewalk patio at least makes you want to meet in Culver City. Deal: $22 bottomless mimosas. 2-hour limit. Weekends 9am-3pm." - brant cox, nikko duren

It’s been absolute years since I’ve been here, so I was glad to see that they were still open. We came here just for the dessert this time around and it was okay. I liked the chocolate soufflé more than the apple pie which was too sweet. They have a huge patio space now although the tables itself felt a bit cramped compared to how large the size was.

Google
Updating because came on a busy Friday night and had Better service and crab cakes & tuna tartare was great as was the rosé and freshly baked sourdough and butter. Seems servers might be hit or miss but last nights was a hit Nice place but Wine is overpriced and overrated. Thursday option is good byob. Mussels are good as is the ratatouille. Calamari nothing exciting but not bad. Jazz outside is a nice touch. Service is hit or miss - it’s friendly but once they’re even slightly busy you feel neglected with no wine or water refills and had to ask multiple times for a check. Overall 3.5

Google
Not sure if their chef changed but it was so much worse than the last time I came here. Possibility the worst French food I’ve had. The escargot was overcooked, tasteless, and too oily. Steak tartare was drowned in mustard sauce and diced unevenly, all the bread was burnt. And the seafood paella was too salty and watery. Was going to talk to the owner about this but hope it gets better soon…

Google
This is a nice spot in Culver for some French style food. $26 for the bento was a good deal. Seafood risotto, soup, fruits and dessert. 👍 $32 for steak and fries was decent. Most notable is the Happy Hour at 3-6:30pm. Lots of great offerings. There was one gentleman serving everyone at 4pm. He tried his best to accommodate, I just helped myself a few times to get my service.

Google
Meet in Paris. Stay for the food. Literally, one of the best happy hours in downtown Culver (3-6:30 PM). I have been coming here for 12 years, and it never disappoints. We ordered almost everything off the happy hour menu, out of pure joy. My favorite was the steak tartare!

Samantha S.

Google
We were excited to try this place, but not a fan. The duck was juicy but had way too much sauce. Steak dishes were overrun with fries. Steak tartare was pretty good but also had too much sauce.

Google
I've always enjoyed the wide array of how mussels are served here. Its uncommon to see them at all in LA. This restaurant also has a great chocolate dessert that isn't too sweet. The tables are pretty tiny, so try to space out your food orders so you actually have room. The outdoor sitting area along the street is very pleasant, and there are often street musicians playing. The service is also good.

Alright! Been here enough times now to write a review. I will start this off with. The staff is awesome. VERY helpful, professional and always tentative. Plenty of outdoor and in door seating. This place is such a gem. And I'm so glad it's here. I've had many things on the menu here. But I will write about my favorites. French onion soup. The broth isn't overly salty like some places. The onions are perfectly caramelized. The bread and cheese is perfectly placed and melted. If you like French onion soup. I HIGHLY recommend theirs. It's absolutely delicious! Lobster ravioli. Although this dish is rather small. It only includes 3 "larger" ravioli's but it is an excellent dish. The pink sauce is made right. Topped with cheese and grilled asparagus cut into smaller pieces. You can't go wrong with this one. Escargot. Perfectly made with herbs and lots butter. What's not to like about this? If you want food escargot they do it right here. Mussels with lobster sauce. The sauce is rich. Mussels are fresh tasting. Display is excellent. The ambiance of this place depends on the time of day you go. Weekdays are usually my go to for dinner. As these days are a little more calm and relaxed. Atmosphere is great. No loud noise perfect setting to actually have a clear conversation. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. If you love French onion soup get it. You will not be disappointed. And their selections on sauces for their mussels is amazing. Thank you to the staff for always taking care of me and my groups. Looking forward to the next visit Decor: New modern clean. Staff: no issues they always make it right. Food: above average Bathrooms: N/A haven't used them yet. Will update when that time comes.

Yelp
"Bonjour...bienvenue..." What could be better than meeting up with a friend for lunch at a cozy French Bistro?...Sitting outside along the sidewalk enjoying the company, warm weather and good food...Feeling like you're in Paris if only for an afternoon...Can you picture this? Sebastian welcomed me and set up a nice table for us. The outdoor patio was hopping. Then Tiffany, our server, stopped by to introduce herself, brought us water and gave us time to look at the menu. The menu offers salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta, fish and a kids menu. They also have a Full Service Bar. We ordered: ~Chicken Pesto Panini w/fries ~ 5/5 (Huge - can share or take hone) ~Breakfast Quesadilla ~ zuchini, avocado, feta cheese, scrambled eggs also huge and shareable. *Reservations available/Welcome Walk-Ins *Breakfast served until 3:00pm every day *Cashless Restaurant *Street parking can get tricky during the weekends *Try parking in Trader Joe's (a few blocks east of the restaurant)

Yelp
I had dinner here on Friday evening, and the experience was honestly disappointing. Our waitress spoke entirely in French with my friend throughout the whole ordering process -- even though I don't speak French. When she repeated my order, she did it in French again, after I had already told her I don't understand the language. It felt incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional to be excluded from the conversation at my own table. Even if she and my friend share a language, it's basic courtesy in hospitality to make sure all guests are included and understand what's being said, especially when discussing their food. I hope the management reminds staff to be more mindful and respectful next time -- no guest should feel invisible at their own table.

Yelp
TL;DR Dirty, false advertised menu, and not worth your time Unfortunately, this is a where do I begin situation. After looking at the happy hour menu advertising oysters for $1.50, I decided to head over to try them. First, the menu is completely falsely advertised as everything on the menu in person is more expensive than the online menu. They have to know this is a problem as I just read a review saying the same thing from a MONTH AG Second, every piece of dish ware was dirty and there was a 'weird' substance floating in my partners beer. Everyone, it was so bad that I literally had to leave and didn't get a chance to eat. Wait staff was so unapologetic. Wouldn't come here if it was the last restaurant on earth.

Yelp
This is a small restaurant in downtown Culver that is charming and does have a European feel with the outdoor seating. However, the seating area is a bit small, so it is a tight squeeze to get into some of the chairs. My friends and I visited during Dine LA week, and I ordered from the lunch menu. I selected the duck tacos and a berry cobbler for dessert. The duck tacos were okay. The meat was a little bit tough, and it was a creative choice to use a crepe as the "tortilla" for the taco. However, the crepe didn't have much flavor and made the taco extra floppy, so the meal was a bit messy. However, the berry cobbler was delicious. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and each spoonful felt like I was getting a hug from the inside. I paired the cobbler with a cappuccino, and it was a perfect combination. The service was good, but a bit delayed at times. It would not have been an issue, but my friends and I did have to return to work soon. I am curious to try other menu options in the future.

Yelp
So I chose this restaurant cause it was near the Kirk Douglas Theater (I was attending a show after dinner). Since I love French food, this restaurant seemed like a good choice cause of location but also food and atmosphere. The location is excellent since it's in the heart of downtown Culver City but if you choose to eat outside, you should be aware it's sandwiched in between the sidewalk and street do it gets loud. That being said, the outside seating gives off a "French bistro" vibe. Very cool. The inside is small and hot but it was a bit quieter. Now, the food was a hit and miss. I really feel whether or not you have a good meal depends on what you order. For example, I ordered the filet and frites but the steak didn't come with the Béarnaise sauce I ordered and was undercooked. The frites were excellent though. In addition, I also ordered the crab cakes which were disappointing. They tasted frozen or not hand made which explains how fast they came out. My GF ordered the Duck confit and was way better than my dinner. While the service is friendly, I'm not sure I'd ask for recommendations. You're better off going with your gut instinct. All in all, it is an ok restaurant but I will go back someday to try other dishes.

Yelp
Food was decent but the vibes were good at this place. The mussels were the best thing on the menu

Yelp
Yes it was Mothers Day and yes we had a reservation and arrived 20 minutes early to it Yes were seated quickly but everything else went downhill from there The food although looked good lacked flavor The service was non existent, we had our order taken but things came out sooooooo slowly "Maybe we get pepper for the salad ? , sure" 10 minutes later nothing Refill of waters, I actually had to get up and refill our own waters !!! Oh and a television in the bathroom SURE why not! Not sure what this was but it wasn't pretty Last time we're eating there

Yelp
Came here for brunch, and it's honestly a cute little spot. The vibe is cozy, the atmosphere is charming, and the service was great -- super attentive and friendly. We ordered two dishes: the Lobster Omelet and what I believe was the Healthy Quinoa Breakfast Bowl (I might be butchering the name, but you'll know it when you see it). Starting with the Lobster Omelet -- it came with some nicely seasoned potatoes and fresh fruit on the side. The potatoes were really good, crispy and flavorful. The omelet itself, though, was just okay. The lobster tasted like it had been scooped straight from a lobster bisque and folded into eggs. The sauce also reminded me of lobster bisque -- not bad, but nothing special. It wasn't terrible, just not something I'd order again or recommend. Now, the Quinoa Bowl completely surprised me. It came with a bed of quinoa, roasted Brussels sprouts, asparagus, and a poached egg on top. Simple dish -- but so good. The quinoa was insanely flavorful (I swear there had to be a ton of butter or something magical in there), and the Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection -- crisp, caramelized, and full of flavor. The asparagus was great too, though there wasn't much of it. My only critique: they should give you two poached eggs instead of one. That would make it a perfect 10/10 dish. Overall, Meet in Paris is a cute brunch spot with friendly service and a few standout items. The lobster omelet was a miss, but that quinoa bowl alone made the visit worth it. I'd definitely come back to try their happy hour next time.

Yelp
Food here is good, generous portions on the Croque Monsier! I have also had the mussels here in the past which were also tasty.

Yelp
Went here for the lunch Dine LA special avail til 3pm. French onion soup was delicious!! And the Croque monsieur was really tasty too. Duck tacos were a little bland and the crepe was soggy, not very crispy but still good. Service was decent too! We sat on the patio and it was nice weather overall. Would be good at night for a date spot with the fires

Yelp
Came here to try out their happy hour and very unimpressed. The portion size for the calamari was insanely small, especially if you take a look next door and see their portion size for a HH calamari order. The steak tartare had so much mustard it overtook the whole thing. Crab cakes were ok. Maybe the best thing was a salad we ordered that wasn't on the HH menu. Not feeling compelled to come back

Yelp
I was transported to one of the outdoor seating restaurants in Paris while dining here. Small tables, tight seating quarters, and a busy, lively atmosphere create a fun and vibrant dining experience. The combination of food, drinks, and music makes this restaurant a great casual place to meet with friends, enjoy the happy hour menu, and indulge in classic French dishes. Our server, Cindy, and the owner were both very accommodating and friendly. We arrived right at the transition between happy hour and regular-priced meals. We were able to order a decent happy hour house blend red wine and a very delicious duck taco, which was probably the best item we ordered. Additionally, we ordered a hot, crispy baguette with butter, escargot, and a truffle pizza with mushrooms, prosciutto, goat cheese, and 'truffle'. The escargot was average in taste and properly prepared. Our least favorite was the pizza, as it was dry and lacked the depth of flavor we anticipated in the listed ingredients. For our main dishes, we ordered the hanger steak, filet mignon, and prime rib. All of our steaks were cooked as ordered and were decent cuts. The truffle fries, regular fries, and mashed potatoes--served alongside a small salad--were the best sides to accompany our steaks. The French fries were perfectly cut, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The truffle fries had a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, but the truffle flavor was barely noticeable (as it was also in the pizza). The mashed potatoes were creamy and paired well with the steaks, especially since the fries were slightly on the salty side. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée, which was good. However, we were unable to finish the soufflé because it was sour. We informed our server, and she happily relayed our feedback to the kitchen. Although I had made a reservation for a party of five, our table was not available upon arrival, as most of their tables seat only four. We had to move twice before the owner was able to create a comfortable space for us to enjoy our celebration.

Yelp
Great spot in downtown Culver City to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. The menu is quite expansive - some French, some American, some Asian focused dishes. It's always fun to order different types of dishes to share with your table mates. At the top of my list are the liver pate, escargot, charcuterie boards. But my all time favorite is the hot fudge sundae Great service.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I love Dine LA and the opportunity it gives us to experience new restaurants. Many people are first time customers because of Dine LA so I'd think restaurants would aim for repeat visitors. I was hopeful with this menu and I'm sad to say I was a bit let down. It all sounded delicious.... My friend and I ordered separate items so we could try everything between us. The appetizers started off strong. We dug into a lovely cheeseboard with camembert, figs and honey and escargot which we just did for the plot. Cheese was great. Snails were snails. Not really commenting on those, they were edible but just tasted kind of like pesto which made sense since they were covered in garlic and parsley butter (and yes pesto is basil but that's the only comparison that makes sense in my head). All in all it was fine. Here's the let down..... for the main course we've got roasted duck in an orange sauce and beef stew (I'm oversimplifying). The duck was incredibly dry and the sauce couldn't save it (there was hardly any on the plate). When it came to the beef bourguignon...the only thing with any flavor was the mashed potatoes. I didn't come for an experience where the star was going to be the potatoes. I can make those myself. Just very disappointed in how bland the beef was. On the bright side, the meal was saved by the dessert. Very good apple tarte tatin and profiteroles ...but if you don't like the taste of dark chocolate, stay away...the chocolate sauce was definitely on the bitter side which made me think of dark chocolate. Now that I think about it... that could've been the almonds but hey... I'm no gordon ramsey. It did balance well with Ice cream though so that's nice. So even though the bookends were strong, the middle was just so underwhelming for me that I couldn't go above 3 stars. Drinks were fine. We had red wine and a white wine sangria...a bit pricey for what I feel like may have been less expensive wine but letting it go. Setting was lovely, plenty of heat to chase away the cold and the service was good. A bit tightly packed outside for my liking but that's me being picky. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try snails but don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Yelp
Five Pawprints for Meet in Paris Hello from Mozzarella! I'm a pink toy poodle with very refined taste, and Meet in Paris is one of my absolute favorite places in all of Culver City. This small, family-owned French restaurant makes everyone feel welcome -- two-legged or four-legged. They have a pet-friendly patio where I can lounge comfortably while my mom enjoys a late breakfast (yes, they serve breakfast until late!). Her favorite is the Paris Omelette, and I must say, it smells divine. When happy hour rolls around, the duck tacos are a must. My mom orders them, and I always get a little taste of the duck -- tender, flavorful, and my idea of gourmet heaven. And although it's a French restaurant, they make the best spicy margaritas my mom has ever had. The owner is so kind, the staff is warm and attentive, and no one has ever had a problem with me sipping water from my own little bowl. It's rare to find a place that serves amazing food, has great drinks, and treats every guest -- human or pup -- like family. Five stars from me and my mom. We'll be back again and again. Merci, Meet in Paris!

Yelp
While the service was great, and the ambiance was very chill, the food was very underwhelming. The drinks, although costly, was very watered down. Water and Alcohol made for a terrible mojito. We ordered the mussels, again unfortunately was very watered and weak, the onion soup, very weak, the duck taco, extremely oily. The crab cakes were great. The group I was with all agreed 5/10. I hope they rework their recipes to concentrate the flavors more.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years. I've had brunches, lunches and dinners here. I've had the steak frites, the mussels, the salads, crepes and the delectable profiteroles to name a few of the items, and listened to jazz on their musical nights. Every time they hit it out of the park for me. Though the inside or the adjacent patio is a tight squeeze, I prefer it to the sidewalk patio. It feels very European. Eating at Meet in Paris is like eating at a hidden gem in France. Lots of choices on the menu. I live in Hollywood so my only wish is that it was closer. (Yes I remember when they were in Larchmont but unfortunately they weren't there terribly long). I'm on their email list which nudges me to make the drive to Culver City! This is my go-to when I have to meet someone from the West Side. I've introduced many people to it who also felt they got a little bit of Paris each time.

Yelp
We visited Meet in Paris on Saturday night. We made the reservation in the morning and were seated at our table upon arrival. We had a table outside, which was delightful and relaxing. I really liked the red umbrellas and black outdoor furnishings; they created a very French atmosphere. The food was great! The Mussels Mariniere ($13) were excellent, and the Calamari Frits ($12) were delicious. The Seared Salmon ($35) was outstanding--must order this! The Hanger Steak Frites ($37) was good, but the Duck Confit Casserole ($29) was a bit too dry for my taste. The Half Dozen Escargots ($19) were good, and the Chocolate Soufflé ($14) was amazing! The Vanilla Crème Brûlée ($13) was also good. The service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and friendly. Overall, we had a fabulous time at Meet in Paris in Culver City and will definitely visit again in the future.

Yelp
Meet in Paris is a fun upscale bistro in rather pedestrian Culver City that does remind me of my Paris visits. The service was outstanding by Elena who answered all my questions about the food and drinks It was $1.50 oyster day(Tuesdays). The oysters were small but tasty and high quality so I had 14 of them. I also love crab cakes so had a few of those and had to try the thick potato chips, as well as a Cosmopolitan. It costs me over $50 even though it was happy hour and since Elena did a fine job, I gave her a $20 tip. I subtract a star for high prices, below avg value and not taking cash, only cards. Recommended.

Yelp
Enrique, our waiter was so kinfmd and helpful. We ordered a bunch of things. Some were great, some less so. Here's what we ordered and what we would do next time. Ordered : fries, grilled artichoke, mussels and calamari. The fries were generous and the presentation adorable, and they were good. When the mussels were polished off, we asked foe bread to soak up the juice. Oh my was that bread crusty, fresh yeast and amazing. We ordered extra bread twice! The artichoke was amazing as well. The calamari was ok, fine, tasted great but was not outstanding. Next time I'd get an artichoke for each person, the mussels and a gigantic mountain of that amazing, heavenly bread!

Yelp
great improvements since my last visit here july 2025, mostly due to different waitress and system changes. food was also better, mostly because i know which pitfalls to avoid (looking at you, inedible duck confit!). waitress Ana and bus staff successfully handled our table of 9, and hugely improved ordering/payment system now allows for splitting a group order into individual payments. in july i said i'd never go back (??why can't i find that review, has it been deleted??), but i'm glad i changed my mind.

Yelp
It's been years since we last ate here. A Sunday Happy Hour and mussels were the perfect reason to return this past weekend. We took a table on the outdoor patio under one of their red umbrellas, and we felt like we were in Paris. Our server was great. We enjoyed Manhattans (5/5 $10 HH), which were generous pours, Mussels Mariniere (4/5 $13 HH), and Duck Tacos (5/5 $11 HH). The Mussels Mariniere was 20 or so steamed black mussels in a delightful sauce of shallots and garlic in white wine. Sadly, it was not served with bread to soak up the sauce. Each Duck Taco had a good amount of flavorful duck meat on cole slaw topped with a spicy aioli. They were fantastic! I'm glad we had Happy Hour here. We'll be back.

Yelp
Charming little bistro with a cozy, authentic Parisian vibe. I had the Coq Au Vin, Escargot, and a classic Baguette. The Coq Au Vin was hearty and flavorful, with tender chicken and a rich, wine-forward sauce--comforting and well executed. The escargot came bubbling hot in garlic butter, just as it should, and the baguette was fresh and perfect for soaking it all up. Service was friendly and relaxed. Overall, a great spot for French comfort food with solid execution and ambiance. Would definitely return when in Culver City.

Yelp
We love Meet in Paris and have been here many times over the past six years. They always have a wonderful dineLA menu, as well as all their standard menu items. When any of our foodie and wine lover friends are visiting from out of town, this is one of our first stops. TIP: Parking is tough in this area. Limited on street available in the nearby neighborhoods. No parking directly on Culver Blvd. If you're close enough, I would suggest using Lyft or Uber. SERVICE: As usual, the service is always fantastic! Cassie assisted us Friday night and she, as well as the other wait staff, were friendly, efficient, and really take care of their customers, making the most out of our experience. Molly, and the other young lady at the hostess stand, are wonderful as they greet you and seat you when you arrive, but they also hustle and assist the wait staff with whatever is necessary. A real "team" service experience. Sebastien, the owner, also stopped by our table and chatted with us and took a real interest in us and our experiences with his establishment. DRINKS: Since our early visits, they have now been licensed for a full bar, so all of the usual cocktails are available (Paris "Old" Fashioned, Manhattan, Negroni, etc.). There's a decent selection of wines by the bottle, as well as by the glass, and I feel that the prices are reasonable. As of our last visit, the corkage fee is $30/bottle. FOOD: The menu is mostly tapas and small bite plates with a few entrees. We took advantage of the dineLA menu ($45/person), which is always a deal. On this visit, we started with a couple orders of the Crab Cakes, and the Escargot (which were served out of their shells in a garlic butter sauce). We also ordered a half baguette and butter ($5) to soak up the garlic butter and parsley sauce that accompanies the Escargot. For our entrées, we had the 8 oz. Prime Hanger Steak and the Coq Au Vin. Everything is well seasoned, and very flavorful. We've also tried the Jumbo Scallops with Saffron Risotto ($37), the Duck Confit Tacos ($18), and the Blackened Shrimp Tacos ($18), and all were wonderful. We finished off the evening with the Profiteroles and the Crème Brûlée, adding a couple orders of Baileys and coffee ($14 ea.), an Espresso Martini ($17), and a glass of Tawny Port ($16). We really enjoy coming here and if it wasn't so far from home, I'm sure we'd be regulars. If you love French cuisine like we do, I highly recommend you give Meet in Paris a try!

Yelp
My friend picked this place for a brunch hang out. Everything was so pleasant from the menu, ambiance, service and food! They have great outdoor patio seating with a huge tv that had the Olympics on. It's like a little bit of Paris in Culver City. The menu is filled with all the French favorites so next time I need to come back to try their French onion soup and mussels! We both ordered the salmon Benedict which was delicious!

Yelp
Had such a good time with some girl friends for the bottomless brunch here! They do have a 2 hour limit which is more than enough time since they make it count. All the food was delicious and our server was kind and attentive .

Yelp
Food was good. Service was normal, (they brought our food and drinks, that's about it. what threw me off was the digital pay/tip and they had a scale of 20,25 and 30% for lunch tip!!! that they only bring us one foor and a coffee and that's it. nd asking for over 20% tip seems ridiculous. if it was 15,18 and 20 i get it or if it was dinner which they served me couple of drinks and food... it was lunch. one plate and a drink. it's not like they have a parking or validate for culver parking either. pretty shocked

Yelp
Have been several times and always a delight. Service, atmosphere, and food are all constantly great. Vibes are always high here. They have a superb happy hour and a Wednesday mussel special. Jazz on Thursdays. But anytime is a good time to go!

Yelp
We went to Meet in Paris for their happy hour. The HH menu is fairly extensive both for food and drinks. My Manhattan was well mixed without an excess of sweet vermouth. My wife's margarita was delicious -- and potent. We ordered the charred artichoke, fried calamari, and the mussels. That was more food than we could finish but it was all good. The mussels in particular were steamed in a white wine sauce that was delicious. The mussels themselves were juicy and tender. The restaurant also had live music by a 5 piece band. As we were finishing up, the restaurant owner, Sebastien, came by to check on us and make sure we enjoyed our meal. Our server, Alice, was great -- charming, friendly, and willing to offer recommendations. All in all a delightful experience.

Yelp
I was refused service. They would not let me to step a foot into the restaurant. What kind of restaurant are they??????????????? That was on September 18, 2025. How dare they do that? Who the hell are they to do that?????????? I mean they serve to a guy that was wearing a t-shirt and jean and so was I. So was the different between him and me. I wish I could rated them a ZERO FOR SERVICE AND ATTITUDES???????

Yelp
We had a really fabulous lunch here. The ham and cheese quiche and salad were delicious. The French onion soup was good. The lunch box special of the day was very worth it for $22. It included a starter (red pepper soup), main course (shrimp carbonara), side (garlic bread), and dessert (flan). The salmon and Brie panini was also enjoyed. The presentation of all the dishes was very attractive and well-executed. Enrique was outstanding. He was very personable, friendly, attentive, and patient. We ate outside but the inside of the restaurant looks just like a French cafe/bistro. I'd like to return to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
I've been for brunch and might be convinced to come back for that if someone REALLY wanted to, but dinner is a hard no for me moving forward. My steak "medium rare" came out nearly blue, and when I told the server, she was like "oh is it not done enough for YOU?" Photo attached -- it was no where near medium rare. EVERY course needed a little basic salt and pepper. The cherry on the weird sundae however were the "profiteroles." They were basically two scoops of ice cream between motzah crackers. When I told the server they were NOT profiteroles, she asked if "there was something wrong with the puff pastry." A French restaurant cannot serve puff pastry as profiteroles. That's embarrassing.

Yelp
I have eaten my weight in French onion soup while visiting France and can genuinely say this restaurant nails it. It's pretty magical that this restaurant is able to serve authentic French dishes AND serve delicious American fare brunches. Whether you're stopping by on a Sunday for eggs Benedict or a Wednesday night for all you can eat muscles , you can always meet in Paris for the great ambiance and cuisine.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday to enjoy the live jazz and had one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in 25 years in LA.

Yelp
Very good Happy Hour and at a time when prices are rising everywhere and other places are cutting back or have ridiculous hours (like mid-afternoon). It's currently 7 days a week (not holidays) and 5 - 6:30. Plus the house red is excellent, better than some by-the-glass regular offers elsewhere for 60% - 100%. more. Our server, Baren, was on top of everything, very professional. We don't eat as much anymore so HH is perfect for us. Regular menu looks fab also. We love the ambience, not too loud for conversation, toasty fire pits and heaters, little white lights. We feel lucky to have this place so close. Bon appetite!

Yelp
Most of the food wasn't good. Three mussels closed after cooking, croissant was flat, matcha latte tasted watery, French fries too hard to chew, and the crab salad had strong fishy taste. The service is okay but you need to wait for a long time for someone to come, ambiance good, burger was good.

Yelp
Food selection here is great. The vibe is what sets this place apart from the others. Usually some type of band playing, and if not, light music in the background and happy hour specials. I got the clam chowder and it's definitely way small that expected, but tasted great. Good choices of drinks.....pretty sure you'll love it. After you're done, if it's dinner and you're looking for other things to do, plenty to do around this place (bars next door, across the street, etc.). Everyone in this area is super chill and cool.

Yelp
I will say I liked the vibe at atmosphere of the outdoor dining as it felt a little like Europe. However, I've come here twice and honestly I regret not remembering the first trip so I could have avoided the second. I'm sad to say the food was disappointing. The French onion soup felt like more than half the bowl was cheese, and the broth somehow lacked flavor. We were there for a special dining event and somehow I assumed the moules frites came with the traditional mariniere sauce but instead came in a bisque. The fries were great, and the mussels weren't 't bad, but I think I was disappointed because it made the meal very heavy. Lastly... the crème brûlée. One of my guests actually laughed out loud when they set it in front of us. The custard was not set so it was more like spooning cream, and there wasn't enough sugar on top to caramelize when they torched it. I'd honestly only come back for vibes, wine, and fries.

Yelp
If you're looking for an excellent salad and a quiet lunch, this is the place!! Great service, never rushed, really good salads...go for the large size for better value!

Yelp
How can you not go to a place called "Meet in Paris" - just the cutest! Stopped by after a work event mid day. It wasn't busy at all and had indoor (small) and outdoor seating available. We sat outside and it was perfect. They do have fire pits and heaters if you need them. It was happy hour (3-630pm daily) so I decided to get the Kir Royal off that menu. It was good but I thought there would be actual strawberries in it or something to glam it up. There aren't many vegetarian options (& don't think I saw anything vegan besides veggies). I tried the sharp cheddar mac & cheese truffle. It was tasty and filling! Ended up being enough for two meals. The service was nice but just reaaaally slow. And it wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure why. Also so fun - they had a live 4 piece 1940s band come out around sunset that played on the outside patio. Absolutely my fave part!

Yelp
This place has a large heated patio out front. Inside the restaurant is somewhat cramped with less than 6 tables perhaps. I went yesterday for the first time. They honor their Happy Hour menu all day Monday so when we departed at 8:30 it was very busy. You can see their menus on their website. Service is good although they messed up my friend's burger which was to come bunless as she has celiac. So back it went and arrived again 15 minutes later. In the meantime I had chowed down my French Onion soup which was very good. It takes a lot of onions to carmalize just a cup of onions. Presented with the traditional cheese and croutons it was splendid. My friend's burger was good but again the order messed up. She found it juicy and the side salad was generous. I had also ordered the steak tartarte which was a HUGE disappointment. It's presentation was not to my desire. All the capers with way too much juice had been mixed in. Heaven knows if there was any eggs added. I prefer the tartare to be separate with the sides of red onions, capers, and eggs to be added by the diner. My friend said it looked like cat food and I couldn't disagree. Kudos to this place for having decaf coffee. As such we then shared a huge Salte Caramel Sundae which was fantastic. Other options on the menu make it a place I would consider trying again.

Yelp
The service & food dropped recently. The table was wobbly & the coffee's spilt so we used our napkins to wipe up the rest & they never gave us new napkins. When the plates arrived they looked rushed. I found a hair in my eggs Benedict & my friend found one in her waffles. Was pretty gross I ended up not eating the rest.

Yelp
‼AMAZING FRENCH FOOD‼ Went here on a thursday night during Dine LA (definitely get a reservation). The vibes IMMACULATE! Live band singing classic songs, sitting outside during sunset on a temperate LA night ‍ yes sir. Drinks not pictured but I got a passion fruit martinis and it was spectacular! Escargot: SHELLED ! Easy to eat and smothered in garlic/parsley butter. Just wish they served bread to go with it so we could get the extra sauce! (No problem for us through we just used the fries ) Steak Frites: Cooked to PERFECTION and fries were crispy on the outside soft on the inside!!! Like a really really good McDonalds fry (if you know you know). Lobster Moules Frites: This is where my life changed. I don't know what they put in the lobster sauce but omg. I could drink it. There was no sauce left we were dipping our fries in it all night long. Crème Brûlée & Apple Tart Tatin: Very yummy but not as life changing as the other dishes!

Yelp
We came out on a Friday night without a reservation. our party were accommodated near the restaurant. Service was great with wine, but our plates came 1o minutes apart, my friend started his steak before my plate arrived, my steak tartare was way too " full of mustard" . I had steak tartare before at Meet in Paris and this time it was different.... I asked my order with mayo, it never arrived..... We usually love this place, way to loud this time with the music and poor service.....

Yelp
Meet in Paris in Culver City is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. The food is delicious; the ambiance is cute; and the staff is so friendly. My favorite time to visit is on Thursday nights during Happy Hour. They have a wonderful live jazz band playing retro tunes with a gorgeous female singer; Happy Hour specials from 3:30-6:30; and free corkage for one bottle of wine. My friend and I always arrive at 5:30 to get our favorite table on the patio near the band, adjacent to a cozy fire pit. By 8 pm, every table inside and outside the restaurant was taken. Our waiter, Baren, took good care of us all night, graciously refilling our wine glasses with our own bottle of Chardonnay, and providing us with great service as we ate our way through the menu. We had the Happy Hour Charcuterie board; Mussels with classic broth and a small loaf of crusty French bread on the side; and the Grilled Artichoke Plate. For dessert, we split the Apple Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream and each had a decaf Espresso Martini in a snifter glass. We were so full at the end of the night! Entire tab came to around $88.00, and we ate and drank like queens! This great little bistro is even better than the bistros in Paris! Save us a seat, because we will be back soon!

Yelp
I come here because it's nearby, but would I drive here if I lived in another neighborhood? Probably not. I feel that way about most restaurants in downtown Culver unfortunately and have yet to find one I am truly blown away by. It's nice to sit outside, though don't expect it to be romantic or intimate because it's usually very noisy with sports games on at the nearby restaurants. Wine choices are good, appetizers are hit or miss, some better than others, but overall the crab cakes, sourdough and tuna tartare are good, calamari not great. Service is also hit or miss, we have gone and felt forgotten and other nights felt attentive. Maybe we'll sit inside next time and see if it's quieter and a bit less hectic near the bar.
