The Best Restaurants At Westfield Century City, Ranked

"You can find pretty much anything inside this 1,300,000-sq. ft. shopping mall, including some of the best peking duck outside the SGV. Meizhou Dongpo is a Beijing-based restaurant that serves a plump, glossy $89 duck that comes neatly sliced on a cute duck-shaped platter. It also serves as a beautiful centerpiece for all of the spicy, lip-tingling things you can surround it with, like poached sliced beef swimming in bright red chili oil and fried chicken coated in a mountain of Sichuan peppercorns. It’s an outrageous (and incredible) meal to have next door to an AMC, but it’s what we need after untangling ourselves from the H&M sales rack. " - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren

The 6 Best Restaurants For Peking Duck In LA

"Eating an entire peking duck at the mall sounds equal parts outrageous and incredible (because it is). Meizhou Dongpo is a place to partake in such luxuries. Located inside the Westfield Century Mall, this Beijing-based restaurant serves a whole duck for $89, which comes neatly sliced on a cute duck-shaped platter. The meat is plump, and the glossy, deeply browned skin crackles in your mouth. It’s an indulgent meal that easily beats any food court option, so consider splurging on a whole duck before a night at AMC." - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren

Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant Review - Century City - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"In a very Century City turn of events, one of the best places to eat in this particularly soulless part of Los Angeles is a restaurant in the mall. Meizhou Dongpo is a Chinese place that’s a big deal in Beijing, and also has a couple of other locations in California. The Peking Duck, sliced up by a chef tableside, is the best you’ll find without having to drive out to Arcadia, and the dan dan noodles are pretty excellent too. " - Jess Basser Sanders

The Best Restaurants In Century City - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Spend enough time tangled in sweaters at the H&M sales rack and you'll need to decompress with a good meal at Westfield Century City before navigating that maze of a parking structure. Go to Meizhou Dongpo, a Beijing-based chain that makes some of the best Peking duck outside the SGV. It gets carved up by a chef tableside. We usually throw in some dan dan noodles and spicy chili chicken covered in Sichuan peppercorns and call it a day. " - Sylvio Martins, Brant Cox, Nikko Duren

16 Tongue-Numbing Sichuan Restaurants to Try in Los Angeles - Eater LA

"With locations in Irvine, Arcadia, Century City, and Universal City Walk, Meizhou Dongpo is a restaurant empire in China. In California, however, the restaurant is mostly known as a higher-end Chinese restaurant that is almost exclusively located in big shopping malls or tourist locations. Because its signature Beijing-style roast duck is so good (Meizhou Dongpo was chosen as the official food sponsor for the 2008 China Olympic Games), people tend to forget that the former mom-and-pop shop is actually a Sichuan restaurant. Meizhou Dongpo’s braised pork belly dong po rou, dan dan noodles, and bang bang poached chicken are solid takes on the traditional dishes." - Kristie Hang

One of the best Beijing Peking ducks in the states. The presentation was good and the taste with some cucumbers and sauce is a must try. Their special two dollar soup with leftover duck bones were extremely good and tasty! Their Mapo tofu is also very authentic and flavorful. High recommended and their services are unmatched. Loved my experience and will definitely go again for anniversary and celebrations!

This is one of 2 fine dining Chinese food restaurant inside Century City Mall. They are well known for Chinese haute cuisine dishes like Peking Duck, though I have only come here for lighter mid afternoon meals. Today I had the tantan noodles. The serving size was on the small size. It was $10 and more suitable for a light meal. It was not overly spicy. The soup did taste good. The XLB was not too bad, although it will not be the best one I had as it was not as soupy inside. The sauce it came with is not the traditional black vinegar, but instead it was a reddish one that had a slight sweetness to it. It was great!

We had our lunch here today. The overall experience is okay. It is just an okay Chinese restaurant. As you can see the pictures, we ordered “COUNTRY STYLE SLICED PORK WITH CHILI” had way TOO much oil. It’s soaked in oil. “STIR-FRIED PEA TIPS” had little “tips”. The majority had thick stems which were hard to chew. “WOK-FRIED BAMBOO SHOOTS”was supposed to be savory but ended with very strong sesame oil taste. Instead of some Chinese music they played modern western BGM including Adele’ song at a borderline annoying volume. There were obviously dusty footprints on the black tiles. BTW, the plastic rice bowls and spoons were mixed with ceramic tableware. It feels cheap compared with the prices.

This place is pretty great for not being a spectacular restaurant. Their vinegar stands out and it’s really important for XLBs or soup dumplings to be the best they can be. The vinegar is pink and sweet. It’s also homemade. I think it may have plum in it. We ordered soup dumplings. These are not the best but they are still pretty good. The dough is awesome but the filling could be better. They know about XLBs because they give you a spoon with them. There’s a special way to eat soup dumplings with vinegar and you use the spoon. The orange chicken is ok. The chow mein is pretty good. The pickled cucumbers are good but spicy. Not very spicy but tonight I wasn’t in the mood for it. The win tin soup is ok. Service was very good. Friendly and on point. Plus the water kept on coming. The restaurant is cute without being too wow. They were playing some cool Chinese pop. Park in the structure underneath the mall.

This place is so underrated!! The food was fire and portions were great. Love the scallops and glass noodles and the pea shoots were amazing.

Good restaurant Coming back for the fried rice and the beef (I don’t remember it’s name)

Google
Delicious Chinese food with reasonable price. Four of us ordered 5 dishes and it’s only ~180 dollars w/ the tip. Honestly speaking, this could cost me 50-70 more dollars for same dishes in New York. Really great food, authentic and in large plates. The pork feet is a must try. I’m gonna say I have dined in around 50 Chinese restaurants in the Great New York area and haven’t ever tried any like this one. Fascinating! And it took only 35 dollars, which could be 50 in the New York. Other dishes were also at excellent level. I went to the very restaurant in China several years ago and this one is no less bad. We sat in the yard outside the restaurant, but the service was still great, with our cups always full and tissue paper available all the time. Took one star off because we were been pushed to check out but apart from that everything was good. Will definitely come back next time travel in LA

Google
Chinese cuisine which really resembles more of a authentic mainland Chinese flavour, instead of Americanized taste. So if you are looking for American Chinese food, this is probably a bit risky. But if you want to try something authentic, this is the place. I don't think American Chinese taste is bad, in fact, I think it is great. But sometimes you wonder what authentic dishes really taste like. It is located in the mall, so it is spacious, kid friendly, and easily accessible.

Yelp
Upscale Chinese restaurant with a great ambiance. Food and service are both excellent. The establishment is pretty big and seats a fair number of tables. Menu is extensive and the interior furnishing is pretty fancy. Great for a business meal or celebratory occasion. Definitely order the Peking duck. That's my favorite dish on the menu ;)

Yelp
Review update may be forthcoming as I want to come back and try more from the menu, but as of right now I find Meizhou Dongpo just okay. I've gone twice now and just not been impressed with the flavors or dryness of the duck. Let me start by saying, I love the location of this Meizhou Donpo within Century City Mall. They have outdoor seating for fun people watching on the top floor of the mall and it's a fun, sexy evening vibe. Great service as this location, as well! Every time I've been thus far, the half duck was quite dry. Like I had one piece and couldn't do anymore due to it not being rich and juicy. The flavor of the orange chicken just isn't very strong and my palate is used to a sweet & sugary taste to the orange chicken. So if you are looking for a less sweet, more muted orange chicken you might love this. I did not enjoy the flavors though. As mentioned, I'll def be back and want to try more from the menu. It's just so convenient to dine here when you see a movie at the AMC. But, I won't be getting the half duck or orange chicken again.

Yelp
Sunday dinner (9/29/2024) My family and I were late for our Din-Tai-Fung reservation. So we settled for this place. And turned out, this was really nice! This is a fine-dining Chinese restaurant (serving Szechuan). Nice decor and courteous staff. And a shout-out to our dedicated and low-keyed server, Will (Wilfredo). He did a great job. (5 Stars!) We were also happy with the food. (5 Stars) For our group of three, we ordered the following: Chicken Pot Stickers (6 pieces) - $13 Sauteed Short Ribs $40 - very delicious, including the dipping sauce Garlic-wok-fried Broccoli - $18 Meizhou Special Fried Rice - $ 15 They have outdoor and indoor seating. Decor was nice. (5 Stars) Restroom (3 Stars) They only have one restroom for both men and women. But it was clean.

Yelp
While showing at the mall my husband and I decided to have dinner here. We have never dined here before so we wanted to try. The ambiance is great, beautiful restaurant with great service. The food was ok. Not the best but also not bad at all. I loved the Mongolian beef and the sweet and sour soup but not the chow mein or the kung pao chicken. The chicken had a weird texture. The chow mein noodles were very thin and dry. I noticed a lot of people were ordering the duck I guess it's their popular dish. I can never eat that so I skipped. They have many options for dishes so maybe next time I'll try something else. Like I said it's a beautiful place to dine at.

Yelp
This place a good, I go here a couple times a month with people that love it here. Food is very tasty, a little pricy but it makes sense when a plate can feed multiple people! I love their garlic shrimp noodles and the garlic broccoli/ string beans. Very tasty! I tried their dessert that was a sesame "dumpling" (sorry if that's the wrong term for it) in a sweet rice liquid. Very interesting, I'd say it's fun to try, sweet and very savory.

Yelp
Best Chinese food west of DTLA. Located on second floor of Century City mall, Meizhou Dongpo will be in my heavy rotation. It's a premium experience.

Yelp
Food: 3/10 Only good items we had/had any flavoring were the pea sprouts and Dan Dan noodles. The roasted duck and pork hock had no flavor whatsoever. The roasted duck came with some dipping sauces, but it did not help. It mostly tasted like water down Chinese food. For a place where the total for three items was $150, it was really disappointing. Service:4/10 Average at best. I can get why some people are saying they felt real rushed when ordering, but I think it's just because of the tone of voice of the waitresses. Other than that, they were pretty attentive and quick to respond when we called. Ambience: 4/10 Stereotypical decorated Chinese restaurant. Nothing too fancy or overly eye-catching. we did like the fact that we got to sit outside and it was good weather that day. Overall: Would we come and dine at this place again? No. I've been eating authentic Chinese food for all of my life and this place unfortunately did not hit the mark.

Yelp
Came here for the first time. Tried the wonton soup, Mongolian beef, duck sliders, and shrimp fried rice. Everything was just ok. The wonton broth was very bland, almost just tasted like hot water. Duck slides were decent, skin wasn't crispy, buns were cold. Fried rice was ok...tasted more like soy sauce than anything else. Beef was also just ok, my wife tried one piece and didn't want to eat it anymore. Unfortunately we probably won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Although I saw the three stars average, I wanted to give extra hope because of the location and how long this place has been here. Unfortunately or fortunately, Yelp is right in this case. We got the chow mein, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken. The Mongolian beef was not crispy, had very minimal flavor, and was a pool of oil. Obviously, to some degree, you expect a pool of oil going for Chinese food, but this was too much. Let's say I'm happy to finish any plate of food when we go out, but I was happy to leave some behind here. The noodles were very salty, with minimal pan frying or flavor. The orange chicken, was pretty good though I have to say. It was very crispy and had good flavor. Is that this place is open on Christmas, which I applaud them for and helps out many people in this way, so, having somewhere to eat out with some degree ambience is very helpful although it may have been difficult on the staff.

Yelp
This is a review for their half duck. It was okay - hit the spot when you have a craving but definitely not spectacular, like I would have expected for the reputation and the price.
google avatar

Lyn H.

Yelp
Nice upscale restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Wish I could say that the food justified the prices, but the portion sizes were smaller than we expected, and the flavors didn't taste as authentic as some people said. It just overall felt kind of meh for what we were paying. The service was not bad though; we constantly had waiters coming up to check in on us which was nice. Overall, not sure I would come back again unless I had the funds to try their more popular dishes LOL

Yelp
You know! Here already is my home, I with my family love here! Especially when I met Wendy I felt so warm, she is really kind and nice, like met my family. We love her and we love Meizhou Dongpo. This is real authentic Chinese food

Yelp
I must say, Meizhou Dongpo is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Located in the Westfield Century City Mall, I came here blindly after a couple of hours of shopping. Not knowing what to expect, I had a great feeling that this place was going to have delicious food and it did not disappoint. My party and I were greeted by the sweetest lady and we opted to sit in the patio area since it was a beautiful and sunny day. The inside looked very elegant but we couldn't miss the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the warm and sunny weather. Food was phenomenal! Their chicken fried rice, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, and their garlic green beans reminded me of the food I tried in Las Vegas, which was tastefully delicious. Not to knock the other place down but in my opinion, Meizhou Dongpo is a notch better than the other place in Nevada. The service was great. The food was brought out fresh from the wok. You know the food is freshly cooked when they say "be careful, the dish is very hot." The server was very friendly and had a very positive attitude which personally, makes my day. To see a worker shine their light while working is one of the most admirable things for me to witness. Pricing is moderate but worth it for the amount of delicious food being served. They also have a happy hour from 11am-2pm and selected entrees and drinks are discounted. I did a Yelp check-in and they offered a free ice cream jelly that tastes like tiramisu. It was very satisfying after a hearty meal. A wonderful way to end a meal. Great food, great service. Definitely making this one of my go-to Chinese restaurants. 5/5 stars for me! :)

Scott L.

Yelp
We had a blast here enjoying dishes with our friends and whole family. Food are exceptionally good, which probably match the price tag ;). We also like the location since it's in the middle of busy mall. Service could be little bit slow, since there were many customers. We had lots of food, but Crispy sweet duck, angus beef and sweet & sour fish are my top three favorite picks.

Jasmine T.

Yelp
Food is alright; nothing too special. Can def find better authentic food in the 626. The duck is cool to get if you want a nice show.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
One of the best mapo tofus I've ever had and also delicious peking duck! Along with Din Tai Fung one of my favorite spots after a movie at AMC, huge restaurant and patio too. I think it's a big chain overseas as well and the food quality and service shows.
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
Outdoor, easy, breezy ambience on a weeknight dinner. Plenty of delicious offerings on the menu including classic Chinese dishes ranging from roasted duck to Sichuan cold noodles and hot chili poached sole fillet. Food is overall decent though I will say the high price point for some of the dishes will have me coming back sparingly. If you're in the mood for duck, there's a special on weekdays that with duck bone soup, which could be worth a try. Located near AMC by the food court. Outdoor seating for people-watching is nice!
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic kongpao chicken! The duck is also their signature dish. Must try! Service is good and pretty quick. Prob the best choice before or after movie.

Yelp
"The horror! The horror!" ― Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness This restaurant is obviously for naive suckers like me who didn't want to wait for a table at Din Tai Fung but still wanted to eat Chinese food. We wanted to play it safe by ordering the most generic items on the menu: mapo tofu, kung pao chicken, chow mein, and shrimp fried rice. I don't even want to call it shrimp fried rice. It was cold. It was rubbery. It was obvious that they steamed it separately long before the rice was even made. The rice was still clumpy. The worst part might be how it was $20. The mapo tofu was oily beyond any point of redemption, my mom begged me not to pack it in a to go container even though it was barely eaten. The service was fine and warrants the single star. We were seated immediately and the waiter was polite enough. I also want to mention that while the large serving spoons and chopsticks were reusable, all of the other utensils were plastic. Not even the fancy-ish plastic utensils that try to look like they're made out of metal. Black plastic utensils that matched the cheap black linoleum surfaces of the tables. Black as my heart now that I've eaten the worst shrimp fried rice of my life.
google avatar

Stacy H.

Yelp
The spicy and sour fish dish was not that strong in flavor but was still good. Our favorite was the duck dish and spicy chicken. Enjoyed our meal here and would come back to try other items ! The mung bean noodles were also really good! Service was quick and friendly.
google avatar

Mico S.

Yelp
Overall, a decent experience. The staff were very friendly, but the food we ordered came out in batches and was barely warm when it arrived. We ordered the chicken fried rice and chow mein, chicken dumplings, orange chicken, and pepper beef. The rice, noodles, and dumplings were your average fare. I felt satisfied with what I had ate, but it was nothing exceptional. The pepper beef was very good, and had a complex taste. I expected it to be a one-note dish, but the bean sprouts and broth brought in a new level for the beef. The orange chicken was very fresh tasting. It was very orange-forward, which I thought was both delicious and interesting. The atmosphere here was chill and laidback but I believe that it's meant to be more of a formal dining experience.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
Wanted to love this place but sadly I wasn't blown away. As a huge fan of duck, I was super excited to try the roasted duck. We got the half special which comes with paper thin wraps and sauce plus toppings like cucumber and scallions. The duck is cut up tableside and we loved the presentation. It also looked very crispy and delicious but after tasting it, it was overly oily and had little salt or flavor. The oil was dripping out from it. It wish it came with the pillowy buns instead. We did have a dish we really enjoyed which was the spicy eggplant with some rice. I have a feeling their other Chinese dishes are good too like the kung pao shrimp. The service was good but since they're known for duck I had to only give 3 stars.
google avatar

Grace C.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Loved the bang bang chicken but warning, it is very spicy. I asked for mild spice and maybe it's because the chicken was soaked inside the chili oil, it was still spicy but the taste was really delicious. Also ordered the dongpo pork to share. It's per person but we didn't want to eat so much so the pork was cut into four squares. Last but not least also ordered the roasted duck sliders. Service was attentive and quick. Would come again.
google avatar

Kelly H.

Yelp
The food was excellent, the restaurant is known for their duck and pork belly pot. we ordered a lot for the table such as string, green beans, pork, belly, and pot, duck, fish fillet in a large pot, zong zi which is sticky rice with red bean in a banana leaf wrap, diced beef with garlic and onions plate and sautéed shrimp with scallions. I enjoyed every single dish we ordered and I will come back again with my family. The service was excellent and prompt. The ambience was beautifully decorated and spacious. I highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends for delicious Chinese food and duck

Yelp
Oof. I really wish I didn't have to write this one. First of all let me preface by saying I am Chinese, I know good Chinese food. If there's any cuisine you can trust me on it is Chinese. When I saw this place pop up as a recommendation at Century City I told my friend to meet me so we could try it. If that's you right now - this is your sign to just say no. Food: Bao - small, pillowy, but very little filling. It felt almost as though they'd forgotten to fill them. Very disappointing. Also the menu makes them look huge, IRL is a whole different story. Green beans - these were simply just ok. They didn't have the traditional minced pork and garlic you come to expect from these. BAO Dim Sum House makes these perfectly. That is my LA comparison. Sautéed Beef w/ Garlic - the beef was fine, but barely any flavor. Also the portion was tiny. You can compare in the image the size of the (one) broccoli provided. Pricing for portions and flavor were insane. Too expensive to be lacking flavor and bringing out tiny portions. Service: Abysmal. We had to get up twice to ask for our check. We waited, waited, and waited. Two other tables actually complained to the waitstaff about this. We didn't as we were very ready to be done here. TLDR; no.

Richard H.

Yelp
I thought the food was great. We started with the chicken dumplings. They were good. For our main courses, we got the filet of sole and kung pao shrimp. Both were great! This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant.
google avatar

Lauren J.

Yelp
Kung pao chicken and cucumbers were amazing. It was a good place to go for a last min meal at the mall
google avatar

Leo H.

Yelp
Meizhou Dongpo isn't quite what it used to be when it first opened years ago in terms of the quality of the dishes. It's still a very nice place to sit and take a break from strolling through the mall, but it's now best to stick to a few of their most popular dishes while steering clear of the rest. For many dishes, prices have gone up quite a lot while not preserving the quality of the dishes. The serrano pepper beef and crispy roast duck are still quite good and worth a visit. Other items that used to be amazing are no longer so, like the fried rice, which now amounts to very little other than small amounts of egg and cabbage in a large serving of oily rice.
google avatar

Adriana R.

Yelp
Stopped in at Meizhou Dongpo for the first time today. We were seated right away for lunch and service was prompt and friendly. My husband and I ordered the peeking duck sliders, the Mongolian beef, orange chicken and fried rice. We also had the crispy pork. Everything comes out as it's ready which is normally fine, except for the fact that our fried rice came out very last and we like to enjoy rice alongside the rest of the dishes. Once we did receive it, the fried rice was flavorful and delicious. We also really enjoyed the orange chicken. The Mongolian beef was just okay- had a bit too much of a ginger flavor for me. Overall a pretty decent place to eat lunch and we would probably come again and try a few new things.
google avatar

Lucia L.

Yelp
As someone of Taiwanese descent, I often crave Chinese food when I'm homesick, but sadly, there seems to be a dearth of quality authentic Chinese food in West LA. I finally tried out Meizhou Dongpo in Westfield Century City, and I was pleasantly surprised at how authentic and tasty the dishes we tried were. Their menu offers speciality dishes such as Peking Duck (which is really hard to get on this side of LA), sweet and sour fried fish, and braised abalone rice, as well as popular traditional dishes such as Mapo tofu, chow mein and Dan Dan Mian. I would say that their dishes are more expensive than your run of the mill Chinese restaurant, but this is definitely a spot that offers attentive Chinese-speaking service and uses authentic, high quality ingredients to curate well-prepared dishes. I'll definitely have to be back to try more of their menu in the future, and I would recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice and authentic Chinese restaurant to take a date or family! Featured here: Mapo tofu Spicy hot pot

Yelp
One of my favorite Chinese Restaurants on the west side. The food is always top notch. The Peking Duck and Serrano Pepper Beef are phenomenal here! Service is always great; ambiance is classy and nice.

Yelp
Great food, as always. Some dishes that especially stuck out: the spicy cucumber, the soup dumplings, and the Peking duck. The Peking Duck is a must everytime we visit and it never disappoints.

Yelp
Everything is good ! The foods that the waiter recommend are so good. Environment is clean , the distance between each table is wonderful. Every group may able have private spaces.

Yelp
Told us 20 minutes wait so we join the waitlist. Waited over 30 minutes and went back to check, told us to wait for another 20 minutes. Pure unprofessional period

Nscamera W.

Yelp
We had to walk out actually. Had a reservation for 6, and it said indoor seating only. Great - because it's 55 degrees outside. We show and are told nope- outdoors only. Staff were unable to find a solution.

Yelp
Delicious, unique, and satisfying- if you know what to get!! There were several things on this menu that were basic and overpriced such as: soups, dumplings, vegetables, pork buns. Get these elsewhere for better value. 1 star off for this reason. If you look past that, there are other dishes stood out! Particularly the sliced beef in chili sauce and the rattan pepper chicken - both were so good I would come back here to order these two things again and again! The sliced beef was tender and the flavors incredible. Rattan pepper chicken was unlike anything Ive had before - served cold but with a spicy numbing flavor that was irresistible. Cant atop raving about these two dishes! Oh and this place is known for their duck, which I regrettably did not order because it looked delicious. Fantastic service, no reservation needed for us on a weekend night.

Yelp
Ordered: 1. Serrano Pepper Beef 2. Orange chicken 3. Shrimp Fried Rice 4. Veggie Chow Mein 5. Half Roasted Duck 6. Mapo Tofu 7. Sole Filet 8. Wonton Soup And everything was a hit. A++++, highly recommended, will be returning. Well done,
google avatar

Jess G.

Yelp
We had the pea sprouts, the orange chicken and the duck sliders. The pea sprouts were phenomenal! Seasoned to perfection! The orange chicken was also amazing! Duck sliders were average. Not enough duck or sauce. Kris, our server was amazing! He was diligent, attentive and very kind. The outside patio was quiet, clean and nice!

Yelp
I'm honestly shocked this place only has 3 stars!! The food and ambiance is AMAZING!!!!! This Michelin Star restaurant is nothing to bat an eye at! A star well deserved and I literally just ordered their orange chicken, vegetable fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, and chow mein combo. Everything was made with such love, care, and passion! The orange chicken was fried to perfection and tossed in this wonderful sticky aroma of goodness!! The perfect crunch in each bite. The vegetable fried rice was packed with so much flavor. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside and soft and succulent on the inside. The chow mein was light airy, and full of flavor! The portion sizes are family style and was enough to feed 4 people. My husband and I had more than enough to take home. I'm truly speechless! If you're looking for bold deep flavors, please stop by Century City and give them a try!!! This place deserves more YELP STARS!!!! Keep up the amazing job Meizhou Dongpo!

Yelp
Reliable Chinese food option, good for groups and a fun spot at the mall. Nothing stands out as being particularly well done but I love the variety and they are accommodating for groups of lots of different sizes and have high chairs for the kids. Service is great and the food comes out pretty quickly.

Yelp
Very over priced for mediocre food. Small inside dining area. Waitress was not energetic or happy at all. She did not speak clearly or loud enough. Skip this restaurant and go somewhere outside the mall, anywhere. Hardly any meat in the beef tofu dish. Yelp check-in was a bland vegetable chow mein and Boba tea was too sweet.

Yelp
When the wait for Din Tai Fung is too long, you won't be disappointed with this place. The service is amazing and you can't go wrong with any of the dishes. The wonton soup and cold noodles are some of my favorites.

Yelp
The braised pork in brown sauce had great flavor but for the price tag, it should be a bigger portion. Mongolian beef was great too but needed more meat. Food is overpriced. Most dishes are $40+ food comes out quick. They should validate parking

Yelp
Located in the large mall in Century City, it is one of the many restaurants to choose from. As my family walked towards the host podium, we were greeted by friendly, professional hosts who were dressed very nicely. I liked the dim lit ambiance and decor inside the restaurant. It was busy, so the food came out one by one which was fine. Overall the food was tasty but for a Michelin restaurant, I expected more. We ordered the oxtail tomato soup which was pretty much good for one person--the oxtail wasn't tender and flavorful enough like what I'm used to. Same with the texture of the pork belly dish which wasn't really melt-in-your-mouth though tasted good. We had the soup dumplings that were decent. The stars of the table were the Peking duck and large sweet sour fried fish. So good and crispy and go back for these! Finding parking is a challenge during peak hours, so plan accordingly. Note: The restaurant doesn't validate the parking ticket.

Yelp
No need to go to Chinatown. Eat here. This is OG stuff not Panda. Look around the room lots of native Chinese eat here, including my hubby. Get the whole duck then ask for the carcass to go so you can boil it into a delish rice porridge or soup at home. Learned this from my sister-in-law. Ciao mein till next bite.

Yelp
Wow amazing food!!!! We initially checked Ding Tai Fun and was told 2.5 hours wait. We were hungry so we decided to check this place out. They had everything we would've ordered at Ding Tai Fun and the quality was honestly just as good, if not better! We will be back!!!!

Yelp
Just tried the Mungbean Jelly Noodle, it was so good I forgot to take a photo. I definitely recommend - and then I remember to take photos of everything else!
