Wanted to try a Japanized western restaurant. Was slightly confused / scared before, but this was an amazing omakase (tasting menu) that delighted every step of the way. It wasn’t Japanese food or western food. It was amazing Japanese skill applied to western style things. Amazing staff, amazing service, lovely place. Stars included appetisers, the most corn corn-soup, incredible crisp and light fried shrimp, the steak, Japanese stew and pistachio ice (lightest I’ve ever!). Great location next to metro.
