Mekong Palace Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant

One of the best dim sun i have had in the US. Probably the tastiest meal i have experienced in 2025. So aromatic and flavorful. Brought tears of joy to my face. I blacked out focused on my food. After eating for 20 minutes I focused and realized I was in the restaurant. Lol. Soo delicious I will have dreams at night that force me to return here in the future. . Favorite was the chicken feet, shrimp with leaks. Shrimp balls. Rice in lotus leaf.

Every once in a while we get a craving for Yum Cha — which literally means “drink tea” and is commonly known as Dim Sum — so we headed over to Mekong Palace in Mesa. The atmosphere was casual, but the service was inconsistent. Tried the har gow and the skins slipped right off, the siu mai was dense (I make a better filling at home), and the har cheung fun was just okay. My wife had the jook and said it was decent. On a positive note, they did have Bo-Lay tea, which we appreciated. Overall, the food landed below average and isn’t worth a return visit. Saluti

Wow, what a difference two year mix I’ve been gone from Phoenix Arizona for two years now and upon my return, I discovered this brand new shopping center with all the best Chinese restaurant around Phoenix. I cannot believe this in Tempe Arizona. I love the Chinese food love to dim sum. I cannot believe how nice it is here. I’m from San Francisco and I really enjoy this area.

I ordered the three-combination roasted meat that day. After we got home, my husband and I started vomiting nonstop. We felt extremely weak and sick. This experience was terrible. How could a restaurant serve food that was not fresh?

Excellent food. We had Peking duck and several other dishes. Authentic flavor. I'll definitely be back.

Extremely disappointed with their ability to give takeout food to third-party delivery services. My roommate and I ordered through DoorDash from Mekong Palace last night for dinner and it was a total mess. Our driver continued to wait for noodles that never came out, and when she asked multiple times where the missing dish was (including showing the employees our DoorDash order) they rudely refused to give any more information besides "we're not making them" and just continued walking away from her and letting her stand there alone. After 45 minutes of employees ignoring her completely we continued to ask her to talk to them - they FINALLY said they were "out of noodles". We tried calling the restaurant directly 3 or 4 times - they continued screening the call and sending us to voicemail. They refused to substitute half of our missing meal for something else - we ended up telling our driver to give up and leave. From the conversation we had with our driver, they were very rude and unprofessional to her. I've attached photos of our conversation with our driver. The food we did end up receiving was well below average, obviously cold, and absolutely not worth the price. Enough sauce included for MAYBE 2-4 dumplings (we had ordered 16). I will not be ordering from them again.

This is a place that can be confidently recommended for authentic Chinese cuisine. While it’s not Szechuan-style, it offers the milder flavors found in many regions across China. The dining experience is unique — dishes are prepared from a wide selection and brought to your table on a covered trolley for you to choose from. If you have a palate for Chinese food, you won’t be disappointed by visiting the restaurant.

Good service, the food circles around quickly and is always fresh and delicious.

I wasn't sure what to expect as the reviews aren't great, but I'll definitely be back! Service was fairly typical but friendly. It's better (and accepted!) just to wave if you need something. We came at dinner so dim sum was very limited but I got the shu mai and they were delicious! Big, juicy, and packed with flavor. We also got the Singapore Noodles and Mongolian Beef which were really good. I'm picky about Singapore Noodles and these were great, with nice big shrimp. There were a few other dishes that I didn't try but everyone liked what they got.

Although I have this four stars, it is our #1 spot for authentic dim sum currently. In person, the experience is genuine. The food is top notch and fresh the majority of the time. Our only complaint is the service can be really slow regardless of how busy they are. This is definitely one of those places where you'll want to have extra time to dine. The ambiance is fine. They have a huge area with lots of tables. It feels more like a cafeteria than a date spot, but dim sum is about variety, not really ambiance. Delivery is also very convenient. The great thing about ordering online is that the menu has detailed descriptions. In person, you're just eyeing things since the wait staff seem to expect that you already know what everything is. You probably can ask for a menu, but that just slows things down if you want to ensure you catch the carts as they pass by. Overall, the food is highly recommended. Service can use some improvement.

I love going to mekongplaza for the wide variety of amazing Asian restaurants. This time, I tried the MekongPalaceRestaurant which had an ala carte dims um experience along with so many unique and flavorful offerings to try, including a whole roast pig, duck, and more. I couldn't help myself with the dim sum and I ordered 4 varieties including swordfish, shrimp, steamed pork bun, and shumai. Everything was delicious. For the main courses we got the Singapore rice noodles and honey walnut shrimp. I loved the flavors and the feel of the restaurant too, it's one of a kind.

Celebrated a 1 month baby party for a special little lady, Miss Gemma . This Red Egg and Ginger Partyz we had 11 dishes plus the red eggs! Fish maw soup, roasted pig, two Chinese green dishes, walnut shrimp, 5 flavored whole crab, beef fried rice, Cantonese fried chicken, beef pepper steak, & ginger onion lobster. The service was hit or miss.

Quick service, for a weekend carts came by often and servers were attentive. Food is delicious.

I've been to a few other dim sum places here in the Valley, but we always come back to Mekong Palace. We've had brunch here maybe 3x since I've moved here, but we've ordered take out MANY times. We typically will order twice a year and go all out. I've always enjoyed the quality, and just cannot get over how delicious their wontons and dumplings are. We ordered take out yesterday for lunch as our end of year meal before family comes in. It consisted of the delicious following: -chicken feet -spare ribs -shu mai -crystal shrimp -pan friend shrimp and leaks -pan fried crispy noodles with seafood -coconut cream buns -roasted duck We also sometime will get their wonton soup, which is so satisfying and rich! I've never met a dumpling here that I did not like, and I will probably continue ordering from here. If you do come here, be mindful that it gets VERY busy. Make sure you check-in with the hostess. When its time to pay, just pay at the hostess and get whatever take out containers you need.

I came in Saturday morning for dim sum and I had a great experience! I was in a group of 6 and we were seated quickly. My friends knew what they were doing and immediately started rapidly ordering a bunch of dishes. I wouldn't have known what to get so it was great to go with them. Everything was so delicious, but my favorites were the barbecue pork buns and the egg custard tarts! The service was solid and my water glass was never empty. I would definitely come back here.

There is usually a long line and the place is crowded. I liked the shrimp wrapped in the white wrapper. I thought it tasted good. I didn't think it tasted like the ocean. I didn't like the lobster. I was disappointed. It was hard to eat the meat and it didn't have a good flavor. I thought the lobster noodle dish tasted like the ocean. The other dishes were okay. The service was a little weird. The waitress cleaned another table and came directly over to pack our food and didn't wash her hands first.

This was our first time inside the Mekong Marketplace. I've always passed this place and so glad we finally went. They have so many stores and some restaurants inside that I can't wait to try. If you are looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant or stores to shop. This place is a one stop shop. Great experience.

We got there towards the end of the lunch dim sum and only assuming all options were not available. But for the options that were, all of the items were tasty. The fried rice however was dry. One thing I like about this place is they have the dim sum carts that come around- something that I feel has gone away in a lot of place. Service was not attentive and I am assuming because it was the end of the lunch hour. It's has been a while since I have eaten here and prices must have increased - slightly more than I recalled. If dim sum is not your thing- they have an extensive menu to order off.

I want to love this place, but just can't. Mekong Palace is one of the few 'cart style" Asian restaurants remaining in this country and probably only one of two local ones. This classic way of serving Customers is rare and I hate to see it disappear. The food here is okay. Not too notch, not the worst. It is a challenge getting what you want to eat. The Cart Servers speak little English, so it's hard to know if they're placing an order for you or not (for items not available on the cart). What I could not tolerate were the hot temperature and high humidity in the room. They have commercial sized fans, but unless you're sitting directly in front of one, it's of no help. It was so bad, we had to cut our visit short and leave. I certainly hope this restaurant can boost food quality a bit and fix their climate control issue.

I've been to Mekong plaza but never went far enough to see this restaurant it is amazing. A line on a Sunday but not a long wait. Dim sum immediately at your table and it is so good. I didn't get a menu at first so couldn't tell the price. It was amazing and we ordered multiple. It is a large area and very good service.

To celebrate an anniversary of moving to Arizona 41 years ago today my daughter and I went to dim sum with our darling six-year-old who is a little bit picky about foods but there was a bun with something that looked to him like hotdog inside so he was very happy that along with rice and noodles with hoisin sauce we enjoyed the vegetables shrimp etc. Everything was delicious!

The dim sum was really good. The shrimp one was our favorite. My partner really enjoyed the roast duck and the flavor. The quality of the food was good. I didn't care for the pan fried seafood noodles and the sauce that came with them, almost like a gravy. Service was ok. I also didn't see any dim sum carts that the other reviews mentioned. I think I'd come back and try something else!

Walk through the double doors and it's located inside the plaza towards the back. This place was huge. I have to say this place was better than San Diego but not better than Garden Grove. All the items we got were $5.95 which was a steal compared to CA prices. Came out under $40 plus tax and tip. The chicken feet on this day needed to be steamed longer. It wasn't falling off the bones. The har gow skin was also too sticky and tore at first attempt of pick up. Not sure if it's always like this. I'm not a fan of shu mai but I have to admit, it was pretty darn juicy and flavorful. The quality and price won me over.

We come her about every three months. Usually we come during the week, but weekend has a much better selection of dim sum as it should be. Love the authentic dishes and choices being from San Francisco originally. Servers are very nice and the prices are reasonable these days. So much better than Great Wall. Mekong has a much better ambiance and their food is fresh.

Food is decent. The food is not good enough to be insulted. It was kinda funny but still a little off putting After turning down this cart lady with the fried plates, she said it's okay, maybe one day you try something new. Second time to the table we said we don't have enough appetite for three coconut rolls. She said oh okay you save money by not ordering. Ambiance is a shopping center hallway. I'd only go if Happy Bao is too busy

This restaurant and the plaza shopping mall itself are a little-known secret of Phoenix. I had no clue that Mesa had such incredible Chinese food until my husband took a job in the area. He proceeded to try every restaurant in this entire plaza. Mekong Palace, however, is the star of the show - you get real dim sum (carts and everything!) for a very reasonable price. Will you know what that price is until you check out? Probably not. This is a true experience where you jump up with a card, point to the dish you'd like, and the cart servers mark something down on your paper and hand you food. We tend to avoid the filling noodle dishes and jump on the various shrimp and meat-filled wonton things of various sorts. I have no clue what they're called, but they're tasty. Best dessert on a cart is definitely the yellow egg yolk filled mini pastries. Pro-tip is bring friends who know what they're doing / speak Chinese and can walk you through the process if you've never had dim sum before. They'll know what's up.

I LOVE Mekong Palace - this is my favorite dim sum place in the Phoenix/Mesa area. So much seating, so it's great for small or larger groups. The full Dim sum menu is served until 3pm, so arrive before that! After 3PM they have a limited menu, but it still includes classics such as the shrimp dumplings, shumai, xiao long bao, and a few more. Other than dim sum, their normal menu is also quite extensive, but expect a longer wait if you order these larger plates. During the dim sum rush, workers are quick to come up to your table with the carts - never be afraid to ask what is in their specific cart, they can differ between the workers. I tend to get the same things always (see pics) but it's also really easy to try new things - the workers encourage it but don't feel pressured to say yes :) Prices are pretty affordable and it's easy to come out feeling satisfied and full.

The top spot for a classic Hong Kong dim sum and Cantonese dinner in the East Valley, hands down. **Dim sum** You can compare Mekong Palace to dim sum in other states and get bummed, but I'll be honest: It always hits the spot. I've been eating here for over a decade, and their dishes are always authentically flavored and pretty reliably available. Even if the carts aren't stocked with what you want, you can typically get a dish just by flagging down one of the floating waiters. I highly recommend asking a waiter for a steamed lava custard bun (liu sha bao), my favorite sweet dish filled with flowing salted egg yolk filling! Carts can be slow to get to you depending on where you're sitting, but don't worry -- they've got you. And they've got pretty much all the dishes you'd expect. **Dinner service** Mekong dinner is a five-star experience. No doubt. When they transition away from the loud carts after 3pm, they also bring in their best waiters to provide personable, friendly service to your table. They're great at managing parties -- and since dinner service is far less busy than dim sum service, they can accommodate huge tables in their expansive space. As my mother puts it, their dishes are "real Cantonese food." Light, yet flavorful. And they don't skimp on ingredients. Most recently, I had their seafood soup, which was packed with shrimp, fish, scallops, and squid pieces (and egg whites only, as it should be!!). Their sole fillet dish also comes with fresh seasonal vegetables and is topped with ginger and golden chives. You'll also get delicious complimentary dessert -- usually a refreshing coconut jelly. I promise it's not my nostalgia talking. I'm always pretty satisfied at Mekong.

This place deserves a zero star, flies everywhere, poor service, expensive, severs can't speak basic English not to mention they over charge you and not provide a receipt, so you really don't know what you're getting charge for. Please save your money, time, and health and stay away from this place.

Great dim sum, and wonderful place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food is very reasonably priced, as well as fast service. There are only a certain number of carts that we really order from, and I wish they would come around a little bit more frequently, but other than that, it has always been a great experience. We've been here dozens of times, and we will continue to go back. Best dim sum in the valley.

Everything we had from this place is delicious from sweet breads to dim-sum. I've been here 3x but still I have a hard time understanding the system and how each order is priced. Everything written on your paper is in Chinese. You go pay and they let you know total thats it. Not a lot of people speak English or maybe they do but they don't want to deal with questions so they pretend they don't. Not friendly service but gets the job done. Sometimes they skip tables so you have to get their attention to get dim-sum. Anyway, food is satisfying so we will still return!

With my Wife being Thai, we shop in many local Asian grocery stores. Mekong Supermarket in my opinion is the best Mom and Pop style large grocery store. We have eaten in many restaurants in Asia so I kind of have a taste for things. Overall I would give this place a 3 for food quality and taste and 4.5 for staff. Wonton soup was a bit sparse. I would like to have seen a few slices of bbq pork, bok choy , more broccoli and a bit more taste. The ribs were very fatty and oily. My wife rated the chicken feet as a 3 as far as taste and 2 on presentation. I think this is one restaurant that will remain in the rear view mirror.

Ok... first, I'm not a Dim Sum connoisseur so don't grill me. There are no carts (at least during dinner), but the bao and shu mei were excellent. Fresh and hot! I ordered green tea upon being seated and the tea was piping hot and served in under a minute. Ambiance - ok, this place was a bit hard to find because I'd never been in the strip mall before but just so you know you need to enter the main part and go straight ahead and then right. This whole place is an Asian food and goods paradise so come for the food and check out the rest. After I finished my dumplings I asked the server what he liked and he pointed me to something I've never heard of and definitely never eaten before - Giner Honey Chicken. If I could give ten starts I would! Tons of pickled ginger mixed with red and green bell peppers in a semi-spicy honey glaze. Best part - the chicken. Is NOT fried

Always looking for new places to try, we've been to the Mekong Market a lot but have never stopped in the Palace Restaurant. Today I saw an ad on Instagram and we decided to give it a try. We decided to go with the Dim Sum to try a little of everything... Glad we did. They also have a full menu; we'll try that next time. The food, that we tried, was delicious! Service was okay. The servers that came around spoke very broken English. It's a huge place and pretty noisy. Great place for large groups!! Give them a try, if you're in the area.

Dim sum is impressive. Can't wait for my next visit. Hope I can figure out how to do it right before to long.

Good food selection with lots of variety. Service was ok. Ordered half order of Peking duck but never came. Food trays should be labeled as A,B,C so customers would have an idea of the price point of their order. Would recommend to friends and family.

TL DR: If you're looking for traditional Cantonese style flavors, or really authentic dim sum, that rivals out of the bay area, the greater Toronto area, or other metropolitan areas with a robust dim sum scene this place is not it. Ambience: Consistent with that of a Cantonese style banquet hall that you would find in any major metropolitan area. Clean, lots of red, fresh seafood. The good : Staff is very multilingual. Staff is able to speak. Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Staff is also friendly and attentive. Best part of the restaurant was the staff. The tea: Chrysanthemum tea was made very well. Whatever base they use is fantastic. Tea tasted fresh very clean, really helped with the meal. The stuff that could use work... dim sum: Firstly, very very limited selection of dim sum. When you googled/yelp dim sum this is one of the few places that comes up in the Phoenix area. Unfortunately the selection of dim sum is very limited. I'm wondering if I went during the wrong time which if I did I can't fault them for that but do you know that if you go later in the afternoon or evening there's a very small menu. Please see picture attached to see the options of dim sum. I ended up ordering the har gao (shrimp dumplings) and the sui mai. I also went on a weekend. Assuming there would be more options. I was very incorrect. Both were very bland. There was a chew in the shrimp dumpling. The wrapper/skin was fine. The sui mai had zero flavor. Skin was again fine. Not worth the cost. 2/5 Cantonese style barbecue : Char siu and the duck Hands-down this was the worst Cantonese style barbecue I've ever had in my entire life. The meat had no flavor overcooked and dry. The duck lacked any flavor on the skin, the accompanying duck sauce, really elevated everything, but that was not enough to rescue meats. It comes with a lot of rice. Also does come with bok choy, which was done well. The price for this dish alone was about $20 which was comparable to what you might find in the bay area. However, it does not taste like what you would find in the bay area, Vancouver, Toronto, Portland, or Las Vegas. I was also really surprised that on a Sunday at 4 PM they ran out of the roast pork and some other staple barbecue dishes. This is the first time I may not venture back in a restaurant. I realize I often give places more than one opportunity, but there was so much negative with regards to the taste of the food, the flavors of the food where I would be very hesitant to try again. If you're craving Cantonese style cuisine, a place where maybe they don't have dim sum, but where the flavors are more authentic go further down the road. There's a little café with an excellent looking menu that would be my recommendation.

Been coming here off and on for years now. It's my relative's go-to dim sum place in the Valley so whenever we have dim sum with them, we always end up coming here. We've come for dim sum here both on weekdays and weekends and unfortunately what I've noticed recently is that there is not much difference in selection between the days any longer. This wasn't always the case. Before, they used to have many more dishes offered on the weekend days, we're talking at least like ten other dishes, that they didn't offer on the weekdays. But now however, there were maybe less than five other dishes that they didn't offer on the weekdays. Some of our favorite items from their dim sum we always end up getting include, the bean curd skin rolls, shu mai, har gow, beef cheung fun, and the shrimp cheung fun. We also get other items but those tend to be a hit or a miss depending on the day. For example, the gai lan on one day can be on point but overmature on another day, becoming tough and harder to chew. Overall, service is understandably either a hit or a miss depending on how busy they are. Not much for ambiance since it's a sectioned off space right next to the food court. But food is always consistent, taste wise.

First off, let me say sorry for sleeping on this place. I grew up in the Bay Area so that'sy Dim Sum cred right there. We all know the valley doesn't have much of a selection of great dim sum, I usually would go to the Great Wall off Camelback if I'm craving some, but I live in Gilbert and it's a drive. We came here on a Sunday morning right around the time they opened up and it wasn't packed, so I was a little worried, but we were seated promptly and they had a few carts out. Let me just say the Har Gow and Sui Mai here is good. They were big and the Har Gow had large pieces of shrimp. One of my favorite dim sum dishes is sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf... these 3 were bangers. We didn't see any tarro or turnip cakes on the carts and saw them by the kitchen where they had someone frying dishes to order and we asked for one and got a turnip cake freshly fried/grilled and was piping hot as it should be. This was another hit for me. Chicken feet, I always order and it was probably the best I've had in AZ. Again this is given out of the limited choices we have in the valley. The fried shrimp balls my girlfriend loved. The didn't have a dipping sauce for them as some places will offer a sweet and sour sauce or like a mayo type sauce to go with it. Not everything was a banger, but still good. The Tarro puffs were good, but I would have preferred more filling as to how big they were, I wanted more meat. This was the same for the Ham Sui Gok (fried meet puff) the dough was thick and there wasn't enough meat filling to balance it. The chow mein was the first thing we ordered because my girlfriend wanted a specific crispy fried noodle dish and saw noodles not knowing (she's a rookie)... the chow mein was really average and it would be something I wouldn't order again. The seating is here seems open because of the high ceiling and it's part of the entire indoor plaza and it was nice and cool. Service was great for us, we had no issues. To give you a reference on price, before tip, it was a little over $70 for just the 2 of us. It was 10-12 dishes and we had leftovers because we wanted to try a lot, as you should with dim sum. I don't know why people were complaining about this place and if you say this place isn't a good spot in the valley for dim sum, I would like you to make a suggestion as to were in the valley you would prefer. For me, this is my go to spot for now and there is still more I want to try here. Let's be real not everyone is going to like every dish for dim sum and I doubt anyone will try every dish in one sitting from a restaurant... but this day they gave me bangers for the dim sum dishes I enjoy.

It's been a few years since I've returned but I would always order a large family meal to go, and it would be great for large gatherings. My recent experience was only a shadow of the past. Some food was still great and reminded me of the dishes had previously but most left something to be desired. Phone service is almost non-existent. Multiple times and reports from relatives will often call in, be put on hold, and set off to the side to hear the ambient sound of cooking or being rung up. I've since skipped any sort of calling to this place and either drove to them or ordered through the online system. Dim Sum is still probably okay and for AZ standards in the area, Ill take what I can get. Roast pig, delicious--but again service for ordering is its own adventure.

Great spot to grab dim sum in Mesa! Our friend ordered so many dishes for us to try. I loved the shu mai dumplings and fried bread with chives on it. The carts are coming around often to bring you food or order additional dishes. The table is great, so you can rotate frequently between your party. It is located inside the plaza. It is nice that you can pay at the front once you are finished. The restrooms are located within the plaza and the restaurant was very clean!

This dim sum spot has my heart. I've been here several times with different friends and it never disappoints. I should've written a review long before but always end up in a food coma after because my eyes are bigger than my tummy. The duck today was amazeballs. The tenderest of tenders meat wise and crispy heaven on the skin side. The fried shrimp was on point but there were so many that I took some home. Every classic dumpling was comforting as it it should be. I ate the folded noodles stuffed with shrimp and topped with that sweet sauce before I took a photo so that's missing. The egg custard tarts were also sacrificed before their photo ops. The service is fast. Most times, I'm waiting for the carts to come around at other dim sum spots, but here, they are fair about making it to each table. The ambiance? Well, it's very clean and functional but not exactly the prettiest I've been to by any means but I don't care, as long as the food is good and staff friendly, I'm happy as can be!

Mekong is a solid place for dim sum in Arizona. We don't have many options out here and this place just has it all. Not to mention a great oriental super market just a few steps in the same building. I would highly recommend Mekong Palace for their dim sum if you are out in the East Valley. But be prepared to wait if you don't get there before opening. The line is always out the door.

Roast pork plate take out was the old dried up pieces. They just hung out the new ones too. It was hard and the meat was so dry. Basically I don't reccomend ordering take out. It's their way if getting rid of their "old" food. Instead of turning it into fried rice, they sell it to tgeir patrons. Shame on you!!!

Food is good and service is okay. What warrants their one star is their shady billing. You see, they're aware that they just can't double stamp. Now they'll just mark it up at the register. I ended up paying 98 with tip for 12 plates and hot tea for three people. I went two weeks earlier with five people and was charged the same amount. My advice is to use a card and not apple or g pay. Match the stamps too. Will never eat here again after this.

Visiting my brother and sister in law in Arizona this weekend and they took us to Mekong Palace after church on 3/31/24. They are located in a plaza where they had lots of Asian food and restaurants. Mekong took over the whole area and set up tables. They are busy! The dim sum was delicious and fresh. We ordered some items off the menu and they were also really good. The pan fried noodles was good, the duck was moist, tender and very flavorful. Everything from the dim sum cart was delicious. There was this round thing with shrimp and greens that was so good , forgot to ask the name of it. Service was friendly and efficient. Everyone was nice and helpful. The ambiance was loud and felt like we were in Chinatown! Must try if you like dim sum and make sure to order the roast duck.

The fish filet was pretty tasty but very spicy. Some pieces had a slightly fishy taste. Otherwise the pieces that didn't have that flavor was good although it didn't have a distinct flavor other than that of the sauce. The sauce was a oily orange color but very tasty. It was a spice peppercorn flavor. It was like a soup in a soup bowl. Some might like this flavor and others might not. I think it is a polarizing flavor. I also got the mushroom, snow peas, with chicken. It all came with a bed of white rice. The white rice was good that day and the next when microwaved properly. Quite fast service and ordering was not too bad. They have a large parking lot although it can get busy and may still be hard to find parking or navigate the lot.

If you want Dim Sum there aren't too many choices here in the Valley of the Sun. Mekong just passably satisfies the itch. They have all the major dishes and served by push cart. Food quality and taste was disappointing given my itchy, three stars but when there is minimal choices what is one to do, LOL

Pretty good dim sum for the area, super friendly service and authentic to some west coast areas I've been to. The food wasn't too warm which I understand happens when you're carting back and forth but there are some really strong flavors to make up for it. My particular favorite part, however, was the ambiance. I loved digesting my food over some tea after dinner. They really do let you take your time and entice you into another sweet treat in the meantime, lol! Usually no prices until you check out but the bill was surprisingly fair. Thanks Mekong : )

We frequent here for dim sum with family and friends. This time a guest ordered eel, $39.99 a pound, it probably weighed just around 3 pounds, was charged for 4 pounds, then charged $20 to cook it, which they didn't do well, it was overcooked and chewy. $180 for one dish. Just dim sum next time.

After searching forever for a GOOD dim sum spot in town, finally found it! Excellent classic dim sum served 7 days a week. Lots of seating and helpful staff. We ordered both dim sum off the carts and entree plates off the menu. Delicious food. Will be back esp to checkout the Mekong plaza where several other restaurants and shops are located. Nice ambience 4 stars because I found a couple of hairs :(

There were dead fish in the tanks. You get accosted by women pushing cafeteria carts of dim sum as soon as you're seated, and no one offers you a menu or any items besides dim sum. I only discovered that they serve chow mein because another customer that came after us requested it and got it. The meat seemed low quality and the service was crass-y, not classy. I hope to never go back. It was edible, so 3/5 stars. I get better frozen meals from Fry's, sorry.

First timer at Dim sum and this was a great intro. I wasn't sure what to expect but did feel like the options were a bit limited on the carts. Happy to see the number of veggie or seafood options vs just pork and meat though. Next time definitely want to order off the menu. Lesson learned ! We looked on the way out and there were way more options. Staff was friendly. We didn't feel rushed. Would go back.

Dim Sum was fresh and amazing. Service was friendly. carts came by many times and all was hot. We will be going back!!!

We were seated quickly once our party was all present. We came for dim sum and multiple carts came to feed us right away. We had a vegetarian with our group and initially there was only a braised bok choy dish and everything else had meat after two carts went by. It was fine, the food was just as expected. We ordered from waiter a tofu dish and soup dumplings and they were fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to return for the food, but the plaza has so much going on, it was my friend's birthday and she really wanted dim sum. Dining area clean and spacious.
