Mellow Mushroom St. Louis

Good time and good food! Crust on the pizza was a tad much on the edges but, they are close to the only ones that do 'gluten free ' with special kitchen. All the pizzas turned out fairly good and the chicken wings were also good, would stay with the ranch sauce, bluecheese not so good. Our waiter & bar tender was great, pretty much giving a great service and doing well on drinks as well. Thank you to Mike Z for the great service and the welcoming into this pizza place! First time I've been here and good break for my kids too. Drinks were there and we took the food home for a great Christmas eve dinner. Success for sure.

First time, and I for sure will be back. I got a half and half holyshitake and the other half Buffalo chicken. I had to wait around 10-15 min, and I tried a dirty Coca-Cola, and it was great. A little expensive on the drinks, but that's not what I was there for. The place is awesome, with amazing art pieces, and the staff looks like they enjoy working there. All I gotta say about the pizza is that I haven't had pizza like this here in Missouri ever before. The sauce, the cheese, the toppings—just perfect. Only thing I did not like was the sauce for the free pretzel bites, not a fan of beer cheese.

Highly Impressed by the Local "Maui Wowie" collaboration as well as the lovely "Beer Garden". Everything atop said pizza was an excellent blend of flavors and a soft base crust. Methinks the smokiness of the chicken stood out more than anything even the chili sauce. The service was decent and I definitely should have taken her suggestion on the Sundae rather than the Mary Jane Triple Chocolate Brownie for dessert because it was good but very basic. Overall an excellent dining experience as expected.

I just discovered this place a year or so ago. My favorite pizza is/was the merry prankster. It has sadly been removed from the menu. This obviously has nothing to do with the people at this location or the staff, but I was devastated this evening when I came to eat and realized it was gone. HOWEVER, my wonderful server Clayton offered to see if the chefs would do their best to make me a dupe with what they had on hand. The chefs agreed and BOY DID THEY DELIVER. 100/10 IT WAS DELIGHTFUL. My sincerest compliments to the chefs that made my pizza and to Mr.Clayton who took the time to ask and make it happen. Really made my evening. I felt extremely accommodated. Also, the sun was in my grandmas eyes and the staff swiftly put down some sun shades after it was mentioned. Very kind of them. I would like to mention for customers seeing this, we were there for a very early dinner when it was still slow, so I’m not sure if asking for a merry prankster dupe will be viable if it’s extremely busy!! Please don’t bombard them! I hope in the future it will come back and nobody will have to go out of their way like that. I hate asking for special treatment but it was kindly offered to me! We were greeted and seated promptly. The service was fantastic, our waitress was amazing! As someone with food allergies, our waitress explained how the gluten-free foods were cooked and even shared her own experiences having food allergies. That in itself made this experience that much more worth it. As an appetizer we had the naked wings, omg so crispy, flavorful and delicious. We also had the gluten-free mighty meat pizza, one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. The restaurant offers many options for those with food allergies. If I had to describe, the food tastes clean and not like any pizza chain. I definitely give it 10 stars.

My favorite pizza place! Everything here is top tier. The fresh ingredients used are noticed in every aspect. A wonderful place to take the family, and worth every penny.

Lea is the bomb.com! They have great food, great drinks, and great prices. This will be our new spot when we are in the mood for pizza.

What a great dining experience! From the attention the server paid and the advice she gave regarding certain allergies and how to navigate them based on kitchen protocols. We have had a few great experiences with Mellow Mushroom in general but this one takes the pie!! The gf crust was better than ever! 5/5 will return for more mellow times!! Oh and check out their wall of famous Missourians and see if you can name them all!!

I love the pizzas here. I usually split a vegan pizza with my son. My wife always gets the pizza bread with pepperoni.

Waitress was outstanding and the food was very tasty and fresh! The air was on and I was a little chilly but not there for temperature or ambiance. Salads and pizza was outstanding!

We went relativity early in the morning before lunch rush so there really was no crowd. The hosts greeted us and seated us quickly. The restaurant area looked clean and inviting. The server soon appeared and took our drink orders. Once they came were were ready to order. Our group did soups, salads, calzones, and sandwiches. Everything BUT pizza! It did not take long at all for food to arrive. The food looked and smelled good. And as little as anyone left on the plate I would have to say it was all good. The server visited enough to keep drinks full and make empty plates disappear. I really wish they would ask about straws for I feel the ones left unused on our table were probably just tossed. Minor quibble but still... The place wasn't too crowded and the acoustics were good enough that we could have a conversation without yelling. It was just not warm enough to sit outside this time... soon though! They have a great patio!

Excellent variety. Food always looks appetizing and smells amazing. Particular favorites are the pretzel bites with beer cheese dip and the buffalo chicken pizza.

What a waist of time! I had my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids ages 5 and 6. We arrived and were told the wait would be 30 minutes. We had a couple of drinks, and after 30 minutes still did not have a table, so we sat in the bar area. Even then, nobody really knew if we could or not. It took almost 20 minutes for a waitress to even address our presence. We ordered two pizzas, a Greek Salad, pretzel bites and Mac and Cheese. Other guest who arrived after we did, received their food long before we did. When I asked the waitress what the hold up was, she said "Pizzas take at least an hour and twenty minutes". Why were we not told that, especially when you have two young children? We were there almost two hours before we received our food. I can spend $200.00 elsewhere. I will never go to this restaurant again! The service absolutely sucked!

Excellent food, friendly staff and a great envioment. We loved going there! Have been there several times and enjoyed our evening every time.

Fantastic pizza, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. Not thin crust but love it!

Every time we are Mellow Mushroom I have to try something different. I have yet to find anything I do not love. Everything is amazing!!! Staff is ways super friendly.
