Turns Out the LA Robot Delivery Revolution Hasn’t Arrived Yet | Eater LA

"At the Highland location I observed the UberEats app beep to alert manager Jose Chavez when a robot was ready to pick up; a staffer still must run the food out to the sidewalk, but the robot helps cut down on cars pulling in and out of the restaurant’s small parking lot. Chavez said only a small number of their UberEats or Postmates orders are serviced by delivery robots (most remain with human drivers), the commission to UberEats stays the same whether a human or bot delivers, and so far the robotic service has made no immediately appreciable difference to sales or workflow." - Christian Letourneau

This place has unbelievably quickly became my favorite place to get some amazing food. I am personally a huge fan of peanut butter milkshakes, I have had many from dozens of places and this is my all time favorite. The staff that works not only is very quick and efficient here. They are also accommodating, friendly, genuine, and an absolute joy to be around. I recommend everyone to stop and get some food and ice cream from this almost perfect establishment.

The food was excellent for my 1st time I got a crispy chicken salad with fries great amount for the price we also had cheeseburgers fries deep fried picked everything was great for the price, nice and friendly atmosphere and doesn’t rush when asking questions because you haven’t been here before very nice place and would recommend it in the future

Great place to stop for a delicious lunch and the best ice cream around! The staff are all super friendly and courteous, and they're always smiling. The prices are excellent, the selection is awesome, and everything always tastes wonderful. Absolutely love this place!! Thanks for the great food and service!

I couldn't imagine a better mom and pop shop that you can get an amazing sub at for the price it is. I understand there's other options out there but your not gonna beat these guys subs an pizzas it's all HOMEMADE. Fast amazing quality overall absolutely amazing food

I absolutely love this little mom and pop shop. It is located not far from the interstate for easy access. This used to be an ice cream shop and new owners took over and still offer ice cream but have added extras to this little Gem ! I got a medium BLT pizza . Not too greasy .. plentiful toppings also ! Which was super good! My Wait time was minimal ! Very friendly astomsphere for how busy they were! Building is also clean inside and out ! There not much room for seating unless you are outside at the picnic tables.. but that's typical for an little ice cream shop around here. If you get a chance give this place a try and help our local small business owners.!
