MELT Ice Creams - Magnolia

MELT Ice Creams on Magnolia never misses—super smooth, creamy, and always worth the line. I keep going back for their vegan dark chocolate, especially paired with the Salt Lick. That combo is elite. Would love to see a few more creative flavors on the menu though—think Stracciatella, berry goat cheese, whiskey pecan. And Salt Lick with crunchy butterscotch bits? Yes please. I also wish they had roasted nuts (almonds, pecans, pistachios) as toppings. Oh and if they could layer/mix two flavors like Amorino does, that would be a dream. Shakes are on my list for next time!

There's truly nothing negative to say about Melt. This is some of the best ice cream you'll ever have. All of their flavors are well thought out and crafted with love, full of chunks of pie crust and fruit. It's just so refreshing. Today, I tried the peach cobbler, and it was so authentic, with pieces of pie crust inside. I just can't gush about them enough.

This shop has been a staple of life ever since I moved here to Fort Worth. If you live here or come here you have to try it. The food, service, and atmosphere are better than any ice cream shop I’ve ever been to. Everything is handmade and it shows in every bite!

We have been enjoying this ice cream shop as a family since they opened. First, it’s great ice cream. Salt lick and Cup of Texas are a matched made in heaven. The ice cream is rich and smooth and I love the smell of the house made waffle cones when I walk into the shop! Secondly, it’s been a part of so many celebrations for our family. The owner and staff care about the community and want to make each day a little bit better one scoop at a time!

It was pretty good. I got sweet cream with coconut and peanuts. I wish they had pecans. My hubby had the rocky road. Great location

I love sampling the ice-cream before making my choice. I landed on rocky road this time and was not disappointed. It was delicious!

I ordered the regular Sammie. Online and on the screen Melt advertised a brownie cookie with vanilla ice cream. I was handed a Sammie that was vanilla with Chocolate Chip cookie and told "we switched over a while ago." What I was given was at best ok. Melt, please update the menus to reflect what you are selling and make sure your employees are more courteous.

Melt was a fun place to try creative flavors. The icecream was creamy and had interesting combinations. We had the Nuts for Rosie, Berry Basil, and the Cookie Crush. They change up their flavors occasionally, which is nice if you would like to go often. They do have some flavors that adhere to certain dietary restrictions so I would check that out. They can get pretty busy depending on the time so it can sometimes be hard to find seating (or parking). They have the flavors covered so don't be shy to ask to see them or even for a sample!

Salted Caramel. Always! That is all. Craving something sweet and stopped in. Customer service was friendly and the ice cream flavors are different and creative. I stuck to old faithful but a win is a win.

While the seating inside is limited, it's a great place to stop by for a quick bite. As a fan of classic flavors, I opted for the Cookie Crush, and I was not disappointed. It was packed with an abundance of cookie bits in every bite, making it a deliciously indulgent choice. I'm already looking forward to returning to try more of their flavors!

This hit well. From Philly ice cream snob that means a lot. The loader cookie dough was just right. I can't describe it but it was fantastic. Service was fast and vibes were in and out. No restroom which is meh but man this ice cream was worth it.

The shop is very cute. The service wasn't very friendly, it was a business only vibe, but the ice cream was very yummy I ordered the salt lick with salted caramel sauce! I loved it! Next I want to try the lemon/ blueberry pie ice cream.

Favorite ice cream spot! They have rotating flavors and their "always" flavors. I never feel adventurous enough to try their rotating flavors because the "always" flavors are phenomenal. I always stop by when I'm in the area and get a scoop of their Cup of Texas & Salt Lick. The texture is amazing and service is always smooth & quick. Cannot recommend enough these two flavors as they do indeed put a smile on my face! There are outside sitting areas; the inside is a bit messy and could use some tidying up. Their prices have gone up, but you can always expect consistency in the flavors they carry!

Loved melt ice cream! there's a ton of amazing flavors - you can't go wrong with your choice! it's located in stockyards so the line can get pretty long but definitely worth the wait

Amazing ice cream! I had the loaded cookie dough and they even had a cute chocolate cowboy hat filled with caramel for the rodeo season. My son had a strawberry scoop which he said was also really good. Cute shop, quick and friendly service. It's been awhile since we've been here but we will be back - so good!

The service was great especially since it was my first time visiting and they had a variety of flavors that sounded amazing. They were even able to help my friend figure out which flavor she ordered last time based on the flavor profile. You are able to have little tasters of the flavors also! We went around lunch on a Friday and there was no wait. I could easily see this place being pretty busy on the weekend. The portions sizes are also perfect because the ice creams are so flavorful. I felt one scoop was perfect! I got the cookie flavor and it was perfect as in it didn't have too much sugar. It's described as a salty cream base but the saltiness just balances the flavors and isn't like a "salted caramel" saltiness. Definitely would come back again!

There isn't much space inside so I can imagine the line often goes out the door. I came at 11pm on a Friday night so it wasn't too bad. There are also a few picnic tables outside, but again, I'd imagine those fill up pretty quickly during the day. I tried the peanut butter explosion on a sample spoon. I was a bit hesitant since it's plant based but it was still really good. I ended up ordering the seasonal lemon blueberry though which was amazing! Best ice cream I've had in a long time!

I got a shake and it was the peach cobbler shake. It was soooo delicious, I am not a big fan of peach cobbler, but I enjoy this shake a lot. My brother got a dark chocolate and strawberry shake mix (customizing his own). It was good, but it had a taste that I cannot recall, but it was not too sweet and it mix well together. The services was good, it wasn't too quick, but moving well enough. The ambiance, it seems like a nice little ice cream shop, people inside was enjoying their ice cream.

Delicious unusual ice cream! Very rich standard ice cream. Texture was tongue rolling delicious ( double chocolate ) the non dairy options were imaginative combinations. It was Saturday so we quickly chose our flavors from the over head menu but were offered tastes for several before deciding ( all with patient smiles from the server). Our group are ice cream experts and everyone agreed there is something uniquely clever about Melt! We gave them a five star because it hit all our ice cream grades. Clean, great service, rich flavors. We will be returning

Yummy ice creams and sorbet!! One scoop is enough two if you really want. It's very rich.

On a hot day, melt is a great option. It had to be about 90 degrees and the ice cream lasted 30 minutes before it started melting. I had a chance to enjoy each flavor on the list. The customer service was awesome and the yellow food truck is eye-catching. Overall I enjoyed the salt lick the most.

Melt! We weren't greeted but the people behind us were, I won't go too much into that. But the shops theme was very bright and fun. Delicious ice cream, I wanted to try so many but ultimately chose the seasonal special Texas Lavender Honey Crunch, it was creamy and sweet, I got some pockets of honey which I loved! I was searching more floral note of honey though. Overall I would go back to try some of their staples.

My wife and I love Melt Ice Creams! We don't get to go all that often because we live 30 minutes away, but when we're in the mood for the best ice cream, we're willing to make the trip here! They have a great selection of unique flavors, about half of which are constant and the other half rotate. They do sell out, so if you see a flavor you're interested in, don't hesitate and get in there quick! They make their caramel on site so it's incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and very patient which is highly appreciated because there's usually a long line of people waiting to get in. You can sample anything you want before you buy and I suggest you do so as you don't want to miss out on any of the delicious flavors! Definitely stop by and give them a try.

Melt ice cream is a typical ice cream shop located on a busy street. There is a few seats to sit inside, but it may be best to eat on the go. The ice cream itself was just ok, nothing spectacular for the prices. I had the cookie crush, which had a bit of frost bite at the bottom, due to it being at the bottom of the tin pan. I ended up chewing of several ice pieces. Not sure when I'll be back, but may give it another chance in the future.

Came for some late night dessert after dinner! They had some vegan ice cream and topping options which was great! I got the blueberry with pie crust topping. It was so good I was full from dinner but I ate all the ice cream!

This place was so cute and I love the merch they have here. The Rocky road was so flavorful and I love love love Rocky road and the cookie crumble's definitely add a nice twist. Really good and recommend! The peanut butter ice cream was really good as well and it tasted fresh. Overall love the ice cream and a nice stop when walking around a hot day.

Unique! What a great ice cream shop. Beyond cute and super creative. I have NEVER had the option to experience such creative flavors. Sadly the flavors are seasonal and not guaranteed but the lavender honey flavor made my taste buds sing! Our ice cream server was oh, so kind! And surprisingly from the same hometown. Highly recommend this local shop.

Melt has my heart! I can always count on having something delicious whether it's my go to cup of TX or a new seasonal flavor. Love their friendly staff and all the fun yellow walls and accents in the store just puts you in a cheery mood every time!

Creamiest most smooth ice cream I've ever had. Most definitely gonna try out theirs new Halloween flavors!

What a pretty day to enjoy 2 scoops on a cone.. had a little rush upon entering around 4:30 on a Wednesday but it was quickly over, I didn't wait that long. I tried the coconut almond scoop and a salt lick scoop. Both tasted good. I'm sad some of my cone broke off and I wasn't able to eat it. The cone is what I enjoy the most and they have good cones.

Service was mid, ice cream sandwich was not very good. We settled on the sandwich because they have signs outside advertising cake. But it's a big cake not personal size/piece. The sandwich was incredibly hard to eat and not that tasty . No knifes available, they don't take cash and menus is way too busy for an ice cream shop. They have ice cream, cake, popsicles, cold brew and lemonade. Maybe next time I'll just stick to ice cream.

My daughter absolutely loves this place. Delicious, flavorful ice cream in a cup or fresh cone. Place is cute but very small and there's very limited space to move around. Parking is a challenge too but it's worth it to my daughter. In the past, we've even been able to get dog treats that my doggies love! Service is always great and ice cream is served by happy faces!

It was a hot day in Fort Worth for this lady right here. I needed something to cool me after walking for a few hours. Melt i e cream was good but definitely not the best ice cream I have had. I am used to a creamier ice cream and this for me just isn't as creamy as I am used to. Didn't love it but I did enjoy it. The cone was yummy. I got the vanilla flavored ice cream.

Fun place for date night. There is ample seating and always new seasonal flavors to try as well as their long term flavors. Apple butter - you can taste the butter in the ice cream and the apple caramel tastes amazing. The apple flavor is subtle, but still there! Highly recommend this fall flavor. Pumpkin spice is their non-dairy flavor. The ice cream itself was very icy and because of that seemed like there wasn't much flavor. I didn't quite get all the fall spice flavors. I would prefer one of their regular flavors over this one. There is street parking. At night there is plenty, maybe on the weekends there is less.

This place is amazing! They need to come to Southern California. I am hooked on their key lime pie ice cream! the perfect amount of tart and I love the bits of pie crust texture in there. 1000 percent will go visit if I'm ever in Dallas again

No matter how crowded or empty always good service and attentive staff, it was quiet today in-spite of the heat, but that's definitely ok with me. I usually come out in the winter, for a cup of Texas or cocoa, but this time I stepped on a limb and tried something new, the Texas butter pecan, and I'm glad I did! Gotta love the smell of fresh made waffle cones I'll be back... again!

Arguable the best ice cream spot in the area! You know those yellow pints you find at some grocery stores that have unique flavors you've never seen before but ALWAYS want to try?! Well, Melt is the place that makes 'em! Butter Pecan (Sometime Flavor) | 8.5/10 Light & buttery! It tastes as though thanksgiving has come early and you're chowing down on grandma's pecan pie - except, without the crust! Peach Shortcake (Specialty Flavor) | 7.3/10 This was a yummy flavor; although I found the chunks of peaches to be a bit big. I was hoping it'd be more "peaches n cream" rather than "peach chunks & cream," but I enjoyed it! I liked the large shortcake pieces even though they were a bit large too! Bringing a variety of Texas- influenced flavors together, Melt succeeds at influencing our taste buds with interest & addiction. Just enjoy it before it melts!

I totally get why people rave about Melts Ice Cream--the ice cream was fantastic! For just $6 a scoop, you get a generous portion, and the option to mix scoops was a nice bonus. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't checked it out yet.

Delicious ice cream. Great location in the Bishop Arts District. A little pricey but not much more than other gourmet ice cream places. The kids enjoyed it.

Ice cream was good and the staff was friendly. Great experience since I been there during summertime. I got a chance to see the longhorn cattle drive at the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

Cute ice cream shop! The girls behind the counter were making sure everyone got great service and were fast! This is the perfect spot for dates. Melt's Ice cream is so delicious and creamy. I regret not getting a pint to take home!

Melt ice cream must be a place where rich people go to get competition worthy ice cream. High quality ingredients, happy staff, cheerful yellow paint on the walls. They are #1 most creative and delicious ice cream to me in all of Fort Worth and maybe Arlington too. They make in house waffle cones and cookie ingredients for their concoctions plus they have seasonal flavors to keep me committed to coming back often. Their peanut butter and blueberry pie flavors are just explosions of taste in your mouth. And I never thought of putting rosemary or lavender in ice cream but they have unique stuff for sure. Vegan choices are available too but space for eating is limited inside.

Melt, Melt, a thousand times Melt! I scream, you scream...you know the rest. Since we were kids it was ice cream. After little league games, dance recitals, Sunday church, or any other excuse to go for a cone, a cup, a sundae, whatever your preference was or you could talk your parents into. Ice cream is a window to our childhood, no matter how bougie the package. Melt strikes the chord perfectly for the foodie-inclined ice cream lover in all of us. You could go to Braums and get a solid cone, or head on over to Melt and experience ice cream transcendence. The wizards behind this cream are not playing. Every flavor is superb. ON a recent visit we went for a couple of "sometimes flavors" Bananas Foster and Apple Butter. Wow. Seating is available outside and, if available, on a shared rooftop patio partially occupied by residents of a next door apartment property. The view of the street from here reveal some of the western architecture of Magnolia. Melt is an instant winner!

As soon as you walk in you're gently caressed by a never ending aroma of buttery goodness that is their waffle cones. I got salt lick with the salted caramel sauce in a waffle cone (you can ask for it all to be in a cup) and it brought me to tears. It's not overbearingly sweet, just good. Will have you coming back for more

We were looking for a dessert place after having dinner and decided to visit Melt Ice Cream. The staff taking our order weren't the friendliest people, but they let me try a sample when I asked for one. I got the Texas Lavender Honey Crunch. I initially really liked the flavor because you can taste a hint of lavender in the ice cream, which really impressed me. There were also huge chunks of honeycomb in the ice cream as well. There was a patio for people to sit outside, but unfortunately, it was raining the night we ate here. Luckily, there was a table available for our group even though the place was kind of tight. I had a memorable experience here.

Melt has a great reputation, and it is usually very busy. Unfortunately, I never like the flavors I order enough to finish what I order. Maybe the flavors here are too sophisticated for my palate.
