I tried a few flavors, but two stood out as absolute must-tries: ​Uji Matcha: The flavor is deep, rich, and authentic. You can tell they use high-quality matcha because it has that perfect balance of earthy bitterness and smooth sweetness. ​Murasaki Imo (Purple Sweet Potato): This was truly outstanding! It has a beautiful, vibrant color and a naturally creamy, sweet flavor that is incredibly satisfying. ​The Service ​What makes this place even more special is the hospitality. The Thai owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their passion for what they do really shines through in the service, making you feel right at home while you enjoy your treats. ​Summary: Between the delicious, authentic flavors and the wonderful staff, I cannot recommend this shop enough. If you are looking for a sweet escape in a cute setting, this is the place to be!

I've been meaning to review the lovely original ice cream they have on offer here but I fell in love with their winter hot chocolate selection and I needed to tell someone immediately. Walking in I was hit with the aroma of warm caramelized marshmallow, the result of a wonderful, rich, house hot chocolate served up with a toasted marshmallow halo on the rim and fluffy whipped cream. Super decadent and lovely addition to their menu. The ice cream speaks for itself. Beautifully fluffy and unique flavors that are all made in-house. The fruity selections are a highlight, especially the pinkberry and mango sticky rice. They change up their flavors regularly, including their sorbet offering for the vegans, so there is always something new to try. A local gem worth visiting rain or shine.

What a great place to try different ice cream flavors and hot chocolate! I got the peppermint hot chocolate and it was amazing, perfect with that in house made marshmallow around the cup and the cream on top, my friend also enjoyed the smores one . For the ice cream, We tried the mango sticky rice ( my favorite, the mango flavor is so good ), matcha strawberry ( strong matcha, we really liked it), ube malted ( not too sweet ),blue jasmine $ passo fruit( the passion fruit is very light, the jasmine flavor is more present, but it was a great combo, refreshing), the Chocomallow was delicious sweet as expected and the grape one, WOW, it was like drinking a very good quality and fresh grape juice but frozen!!! The prices are very reasonable for a place that offer different ice cream flavors that you don’t find everywhere, the Flight option is definitely worth it if you want to try 4 different flavors at once! The 2 scoop is also a good option, you get big scoops and 2 nice flavors! For a small place with only the 2 owners serving, I think it was fast and good customer service, the hot cholate was a hot commodity so you might have to wait longer Love it and will definitely come back!!

I loved the flavors and the texture of the ice cream! The Thai Tea with Mochi was so good and the mochi simulated boba. I got a flight that includes four scoops. I choose Blue Jasmine & Passion Fruit Swirl, Ube Mlated Crunch, Earl Grey Lychee, Thai Tea & Brown Sugar Mochi. Everything was so good, but my favorites were the lighter flavors, Blue Jasmine & Passion Fruit Swirl and the Earl Grey Lychee. I highly recommend and will be returning!

The ice cream flavors here are so creative and delicious. I didn’t see the sign (3 samples to keep line moving but there was no line at the time) and sampled almost all the flavors! My favorite is the Jasmine Blue Pea and mango sticky rice. Owner is super friendly and sweet. Owned by a sweet couple that makes their own flavors.

I tried the hot chocolate at Melt Me and really enjoyed it. The chocolate was rich and smooth without being too sweet, and the toasted marshmallow on top added a nice touch. It was comforting and well balanced. I’d definitely come back to have it again.

A one-of-a-kind, small and local hidden gem tucked in Berkeley. The shop has a wholesome vibe with unique flavors and kind service. The worker was extremely nice and let me try multiple flavors because there were so many interesting flavors I’ve never tried. The ice cream is rich and creamy but packed with strong flavors. Scoops are priced fairly and are generously sized. I got a flight ($8) which came with 4 scoops of your choice. oolong pineapple crumble (my favorite): strong oolong essence with a subtle note of pineapple and fun crunch from the pineapple cracker bits. Jasmine passion fruit (2nd favorite): hint of floral tea combined with a smooth tart from the passion fruit. Avacado coconut: comes with toasted coconut flakes and has a strong coconut flavor with the creaminess of Avacado. Matcha strawberry: extremely creamy matcha drizzled with strawberry syrup. I will definitely come by and visit Melt Me everytime I come to Berkeley. Shoutout to their superb music taste.

SO DELICIOUS!!! I’ve come 3 times in a week since I knew about this place. I’ve tried the matcha strawberry, thai tea, blue jasmine passionfruit, orange froyo, and cereal. All of them are absolutely amazing and I cannot pick a favorite! Matcha strawberry is extremely high quality, it’s bright green and tastes better than $8 matcha lattes out there. The strawberry gives it a nice tartness to balance the intensity of the matcha! The thai tea is really intense & concentrated, with perfectly soft & chewy boba bits. Orange froyo is tart and refreshing! I’d say matcha, thai tea, and orange are the more intense flavors. The cereal one is so good, more intensely cereal flavored than “cereal-milk” flavored ice cream out there. And the jasmine passionfruit is light, fragrant, floral, tea-forward with a nice sweetness from the passionfruit. This place is easily the best ice cream place I’ve ever had in my life 😭😭😭 Please try it and support their small business!! If I wasn’t moving I’d be here every day!!

What a wonderful creamy experience! I love the inspiration it takes to start up a creamery with Asian, tropical flavors and do some unique stuff, like offer fruit freezes. The quality of the cream is high, and the only thing you might concern yourself with is the paucity of flavor options. However, that's what makes it better! Admit it, Baskin can't do all 31 flavors equal justice. Lastly, go check out the hot chocolate available until the end of the month. That s'more is actually s'good. Flight of 4 scoops $10

Saw this went viral on tiktok for its S'mores Hot Chocolate and decided to check it out. The line is definitely worth it! It took me about 20min to get through the line and get my order. It's a small ice cream shop with very limited stools inside and outside. While we waited for the main event we tried a scoop of their Campfire S'mores ice cream and Pinkberry ice cream which were both very good! The Pinkberry was very refreshing. The Campfire S'mores wasn't too sweet but it was rich. They had many unique flavors like mango sticky rice, Thai tea and brown sugar mochi, ube malted crunch that I need to return to try. The S'mores Hot Chocolate was such a warm treat for a cold day. The hot chocolate was rich and hot but the toasted marshmallow foam and fluffy thick whipped cream balanced out the rich chocolate. It was the perfect combination! They had other versions of it too.

I've lost count of how many friends, family & coworkers I've brought here just in the past 2 months [and considering I'm 1) not a 'sweets' person and 2) the past two months were cold November and December, that's saying a lot]! I love how many of the flavors are "not too sweet" and also offer tasty non-dairy / non-nut milk based options. I plan to go at least once a month to see their monthly rotating flavors. The owners are super friendly and take their time giving samples and recommendations. Even if there's a line out the door, it's quick and there's small stools inside and outside of the store. With the addition of the marshmallow rim hot chocolate, this place will definitely get more and more busy, but I'm glad they're getting the attention they deserve!

Saw these cute hot chocolates all over tiktok and I had to try them!!! Parking is a bit difficult; we parked about a block or so away. When we got to the creamery, there was already a crowd of people waiting outside; some enjoying their hot chocolates and ice cream, and some waiting in line to order. Expect a 30min wait for hot chocolates, due to high demand! The store is also very tiny. Limited seating inside and outside. I grabbed a Hojicha Biscoff cone while we waited for our hot chocolates. They have such unique ice cream flavors and a majority are Asian inspired, like mango sticky rice and Strawberry Matcha. The Hojicha Biscoff tasted very "toasty" and not too sweet! The hot chocolates were yummy and I love the taste of the toasted marshmallow rim and whipped cream topping!!! Their other hot chocolate flavors, matcha white chocolate and Hojicha white chocolate, also sounded really good! Sadly, they were all sold out that day. Friendly staff; please be patient and kind, as they are getting a lot of attention thru tiktok and wait times are longer than usual. Will def come back to try their other ice flavors!

Came here a little while ago because I heard about their hot chocolate! I also was craving a sweat treat after some dim sum lol. To start off, the workers are really sweet and patient. There's a variety of different flavors to try - I've tried their ube before and it was sooo delicious, definitely hit my sweet craving. It's a small shop, so it may look a little crowded & busy with a couple customers, but the line moves fairly fast! Now onto their hot chocolate... I know this item is seasonal but I really hope they keep it year round. When I tell you I slurped it all up, I mean I SLURPED AND DESTROYED IT (even finishing my friends because she couldn't finish hers lol). Would love to come again and try out more of their flavors!

Every year during the week of Thanksgiving, we embark on a tradition: searching the East Bay for its best ice cream. After five years and more than half a dozen shops, we finally found a new favorite, Melt Me Creamery. We loved it so much that we visited three times in one week and even brought three pints to Thanksgiving dinner. Each visit came with warm smiles, generous samples, and genuinely welcoming service. This small, family-owned shop opened in July 2025, and the two owners couldn't be kinder. They shared a bit about the shop's story with us, adding a personal touch that made the experience even better. The space is bright, clean, and inviting, with soft music in the background. There's outdoor seating as well, though we enjoyed staying inside. We tried quite a few flavors, but several truly stood out: · Pinkberry - Bold, rich strawberry flavor, perfectly creamy, not too sweet, made with a secret recipe that keeps the fruit flavor intense but not icy. · Matcha Strawberry - A lovely balance of the earthiness of matcha paired with a ribbon of strawberry jam, neither overpowering the other. · Jasmine Passionfruit - Lightly floral jasmine tea ice cream brightened by a swirl of tangy passionfruit. Melt Me also rotates four seasonal flavors every month. These were the flavors for November: · Hazelnut Coffee Toffee - A powerful coffee base with crispy hazelnut and toffee specks. · Avocado Coconut - Light, less sweet, and beautifully textured with toasted coconut flakes. · Yuzu Honey Sorbet - Bright, refreshing · Oolong Tea Pineapple - Unique take on the Taiwanese delicacy (Pineapple cake) If you're in the area, we highly recommend giving Melt Me Creamery a try. We stopped by after eating KBBQ at Don Blanc, and the ice cream here truly hit the spot. Melt Me Creamery was exactly what I needed to satisfy my ice cream cravings. I already want to go back again. The reviews don't lie; the hype is well deserved. When we arrived, the place immediately had a laid-back, cheerful energy...lively enough to feel fun, but not crowded at all. What I ordered: Flight of Ice Cream = 4 scoops ($8.25 including tip) WHAT A STEAL for artisanal flavored ice cream. Flavors picked (I loved all of it): Jasmine Passionfruit Ube Crunch Strawberry Matcha Mango Sticky Rice Tip: Sprinkles are free! ICE CREAM: 10/10 The ice cream was phenomenal. Each flavor tasted exactly how it was described. The ice cream is rich but not heavy, and with flavors that feel inventive and thoughtful. I could tell they put a lot of care into balancing flavor and texture by not being overly sweet, creamy, but light. It genuinely felt like one of the best artisanal ice creams I've had in a long time. SERVICE: 10/10 The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and didn't make me feel rushed. Ordering was smooth, efficient, and pleasant from start to finish. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Melt Me has a fun, cheerful vibe, bright and colorful inside with pink and white decor, and enough seating for a relaxed hangout (though it's not a big lounge area). It felt comfy and casual. The only reason it's not a perfect 10/10 is that the space is a bit cozy, but that actually works in its favor if you enjoy low-key, friendly ice-cream-shop energy. There's also outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus. I really appreciated how simple and easy-to-read the menu was. I also loved that there wasn't an overwhelming number of flavors, just a thoughtful selection. The options were unique, yet they still offered classic choices like Vanilla. Overall, I came craving something indulgent and a little different, and Melt Me delivered. If you enjoy inventive flavors, care about quality, and want a chill spot to enjoy a scoop (or two), this place is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back. I honestly can't wait to be back LOL.

I'm a big fan of Garden Creamery in SF so Melt Me's Asian and tropical flavors are right up my alley. Bring a friend so you can try out a bunch of different flavors (they were all excellent and we had a really hard time choosing which one to get). The staff were friendly and had good recommendations- I also appreciated the different size options including the kids size as I can't eat a whole lot of sweet stuff in 1 sitting. Our favorites ended up being the ube crunch and the mango sticky rice. We will definitely be coming back for more when we're in the area!

Really solid ice cream. Nothing gimmicky, just good flavors done well. I've liked it enough that I've come back multiple times since being introduced, which says a lot. Easy place to recommend.

Ice cream salvors were unique and yummy. Very nice staff. My kids LOVED the hot chocolate. It's only seasonal so make sure you get there before it's gone!

I was amazed with the mango sticky rice. I thought either the mango or the sticky rice would overpower the other but it was perfectly balanced. The Bangkok summer had jackfruit, coconut, other things. Pinkberry tasted like a really sweet fresh strawberry. I was impressed. The pumpkin walnut tasted like a pumpkin coffee, which I was not expecting. It threw me off and I'm not sure if I liked it. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area.

I used to be a die-hard Salt & Straw fan, but lately their ice cream has started to feel a bit heavy for me. If you prefer something that isn't overly sweet or overwhelmingly rich, you need to try Melt Me. Their unique Asian-inspired flavors are so exciting and the ice cream itself has this airy, light texture that makes you want to savor every bite. The owner was so patient with us and didn't hesitate to let us sample flavor after flavor. Trust me, I'll be keeping an eye on those new flavors every month. Points for cute, pink branding!

First time visiting this ice cream shop in Berkeley. We stopped by for the hot chocolate, which had about a 30-45 minute wait. While waiting outside, we decided to grab an ice cream cone since the space inside is very small and most of the seating is outdoors. Overall, it's a nice little business with good service in my opinion.

4/5: The Thai tea & Brown sugar mochi was good. The boba remained chewy and did not freeze solid. 3/5: The cheddar cheese walnut pralines was ok, but not up to the hype. the cheddar cheese flavor was not strong enough; it was more like a generic sugar flavor. The walnut pralines were better than the ice cream.

First time here! Blown away by the unique flavors. I tried samples of the Blue Jasmine Passion Fruit Swirl (pretty good but not for me because I'm not a fan of passion fruit and it was the dominant flavor) and the Mango Sticky Rice (SO good!). I got a split single scoop of Mango Sticky Rice and Ube Malted Crunch for $6.25. Portions are pretty small with this price, but their flavors truly are unique and high-quality, so I can't be toooo upset about it. It's a pretty small store, but they have some outdoor seating and standing tables inside. I wish they had some chairs inside - standing felt a little awkward lol. I wouldn't come here too often because it's pricey but I would come back again sometime to get the Mango Sticky Rice again or try more flavors!

Man this place is phenomenal. Every single flavor I tried was right on point and genuinely surprising how well they hit the flavors in terms of accuracy. The ice cream itself was more airy vs. dense and flavors were light and not over bearing. I tried the ube, mango sticky rice, and campfire smores, all amazing. To get my daughter to get anything aside from chocolate is akin to moving mountains. She got the ube crunch, which was delicious, but I think the malted pieces could be replaced by something else to improve. Outside of the that, my only gripe would be how small the place was, it had barely any seating apart from 4 seats outside, which I imagine are usually filled except we went on a rather cold rainy evening.

We got the mango sticky rice and thai tea split scoop and both were not too sweet. The consistency of the ice cream was a little icier than I usually prefer but it was still delicious.

The offerings are Asian-inspired, but much more adventurous than the usual matcha-or-ube lineup. Think creative combinations (like matcha with a twist) rather than just the basics, which made it really fun to sample and explore. I also really appreciated how clearly everything was labeled--vegan options, nuts, eggs, etc. A lot of people don't realize how common eggs are in ice cream, so this kind of transparency is a big plus. The shop itself is super cute, and it was fun watching the videos of how they make their ice cream--it adds to the experience. As for the ice cream itself: very creamy, smooth, and the flavors really shine through. I honestly wish I lived closer so I could come more often. Wow, the flavors here are so unique. I tried the Bangkok summer and I literally said out loud that it tasted like a Bangkok summer with all the fruits in the scoop. I also tried the pandan pistachio tres leche which was ok. The cheddar cheese walnut praline is probably my favorite taste. It is so unique and absolutely love the creaminess and savoriness of the ice cream. Samples happily given and limited to 3 flavors. Cones are not homemade. Casual. I walked over from the Trader Joe's. Please come and create your own adventure.

I saw this place on TikTok for the hot chocolate. I was excited to take my young son. We came on a Saturday around 2 pm. The place is very small so it more of a grab and go. There was 4 options of hot chocolate and 2 were something we couldn't order. They said it was going to be 15-20 minutes I just felt that was extremely long for a hot chocolate. We just decided to get a scoop of strawberry ice cream that was $7. I wish it would not have taken that long because I really wanted the hot chocolate

Was looking my for some good hot chocolate in town & found it!! The environment is super cute, staff are great, and wait time wasn't too bad despite there being a line. I definitely recommend this spot for their hot chocolate and ice cream!! (Their thai ice cream was yummy! )

Melt Me Creamery opened recently in Ono Bakehouse's space. Same infrastructure. No inside seating. Bakes display area converted to ice cream display cases. Limited stool seating outside. New Signage on central wall. Sign outside near window shows special flavors of the month, fruit freezes & classics. Standing board in front displays popular flavors. Offerings (ice cream): Asian-inspired flavors, fruit freezes, classics. Was greeted friendly, courteously, quickly. Offered samples. I tried 2 I've never seen before, like them. Ordered it. Turns out they're specials of the month. Licks: 2 scoops (7.95) in a cup. Comes have issues when dripping starts.:) Black Sesame Cookies & Cream -has velvety creamy, crunchiness from crushed cookies so it's a child's favorite. -subtle sugarness so it's appeals to adults. Black sesame seeds imported from Japan. Specks can be seen in the ice cream. Sadly, subtle black sesame taste subdued by slight sweetness. Dalgona Coffee Chip -has the rich creaminess & carmelized sweetness of Dalgona candy along with semi-boldness of coffee. -some crunchiness from pieces of Dalgona candy present. 4.5 stars Worthy: YMMV. Quality: very good-premium ingredients tasted. Quantity: Reasonble-solid scoops, no airiness *doesn't compare with Ben & Jerry's. Both are fun & deliz to lick. Nothing comparable to Melt & T & J.

Nice service and cute tiny ice cream store. We got a flight (4 flavors) for $8.25. Flavors were nice and creamy and not artificial. Would recommend the ube and lavender. Also you can have free sprinkles (rainbow or chocolate)

After a really warm day, I was craving some ice cream. I found this place and thought the flavors looked interesting. I ended up ordering the Bangkok Summer Scoop which was coconut with jackfruit chunks and the Pinkberry which was a creamy strawberry flavor made with real strawberries! The ice cream texture was really smooth, soft, and creamy which is so refreshing. I'd highly recommend if you're ever in the area. I also appreciate being able to split a single scoop with two flavors-- especially when there's so many novelty flavors and only so much you can eat at once.

So I went at 3:00 pm, opening time on a Saturday and there was a line down the block. The line was for people getting the special hot chocolate and also ice cream. If you're just getting a scoop of ice cream, you can just go inside. Don't wait in that line. The ice cream is delicious. Creative flavors. They let you taste up to 3 flavors. My favorite was peanut butter brownie. I waited almost 2 hours for the hot chocolate. That included the wait time to order it. But by the time I got mine around 5:00 pm, there was no line and people just getting there probably waited about 20 minutes or less. There were only 2 people working that day. I don't know if that's normal, but on busy weekends they should have an extra person making the hot chocolate. I enjoyed the hot chocolate but the wait time made it less exciting and not as worth it. So I recommend going but if you see a line, maybe go another time.

Incredible! A small business ice cream shop opened by a husband and wife. We got the flight that has around 4 flavors in kids scoop for I think about $8 something which was perfect it share for 2 people. We got the dalgona coffee, ube malted, mango sticky rice, jasmine passion fruit. They were all amazing. I did wish the dalgona coffee had more of the brown sugar pieces and the malts in the ube were smaller and more spread apart so each bite can taste the malt. The owners were so sweet and they are having monthly special flavors. Excited to come back to try next months flavor. Parking can be hard. We had to park on another street for street parking and walk over

Great selection of flavors, not a huge overwhelming menu but also definitely something for everyone! The texture was phenomenal, it was very smooth, slightly rich, and also had a less dense texture. Not overly gummy like some ice cream places! I love that the flavors highlight the actual flavors and not just sweetness. The Thai tea was very tea flavored and just enough sweetness. The ube was perfectly nutty. Cute store as well!

I can probably count the times I've went out for ice cream in the last 10 years on my hands since I don't care for it much over frozen yogurt. HOWEVER, I LOOOOVED the ice cream here. Not only was the service amazing, offering us multiple samples each so we can choose our favorites, but the flavors themselves were all so great and hard to decide on. As a group of three, we settled on a flight which was less than $9 for 4 small scoops which was insanely worth it. We were able to have a variety and feel really satisfied with the flavors and the portion. I love that it's catered to tastes that prefer less sweeter treats and they each had perfect textures/consistencies without feeling heavy, despite being ice cream. I wish I was able to visit a few more times before leaving the area :(

PERFECT! Five happy souls visited for the first time on Sunday, 1-25-2026. Other than we live in San Mateo and Santa Rosa, this would be our regular go-to for custom-made wonderful variety of flavors! And they change their menu. Not fixed like the chain ice cream places.

Opened last Friday (7/11/25), Melt Me is the ice cream shop Berkeley needed, move over iscream. After the closure of an amazing ice cream shop (you know who you are), Berkeley was in short supply of ice cream shops with a focus on Asian flavors. I am ecstatic and simultaneously worried for my sugar levels that it's a short distance from where I live. Today, I decided to make a spontaneous trip down MLK to this cute little shop a stone's throw away from Trader Joe's. First off, ovaltine! YAS. But bc I wasn't in a chocolatey mood, I opted for mango sticky rice+ blue jasmine and passion fruit. They went really well together! The mango sticky rice was bursting with mango and the passion fruit although normally very tart was subdued by the jasmine. Both very tasty! I got to try the Bangkok summer scoop. Kind of wish it had more jack fruit bc the coconut ice cream was def the stronger flavor. Other than that I can't wait to come back to see what other flavors they scoop up!

Very intriguing, Asian forward flavors. They had a bit of everything from ube, mango sticky rice, to miso peanut butter and Korean corn latte. I like that they have a split single where you can try 2 flavors in a single cup instead of having to get 2 full scoops. Their ice cream is very creamy and they give good generous scoops. The Korean coffee is a nice medium roast flavor with the lingering flavor of corn at the end. It was really yummy. Their mango sticky rice tasted mainly of fresh mango. We enjoyed it even tho we didn't get a coconut flavor. We had the last scoop of the mango in the tub so maybe we didn't get the best representation of it. It was delicious nevertheless. We will definitely revisit for other flavors in the coming months.

I ACTUALLY screamed for ice cream when I saw this cute new place finally opened and did a (legal) U-turn to check it out. It had been 2 days since they opened around 9pm so they were just closing up, but the staff was so nice and wrapped my order as the last one of the night. They have samples, flights, and split scoops so you can try their wide variety of Asian-inspired flavors. It's a smaller store front, but the inside has plenty of pink and a welcoming feel to it. Some flavors rotate monthly and keep things interesting (the cheddar cheese walnut pralines is not as weird as it sounds). Sprinkles are free! Was a huge fan of their blue jasmine & passion fruit, mango sticky rice, and black sesame/cookies & cream flavors. I'll definitely be back!

Most UNIQUE ice cream in the East Bay!!! This place is so fire. I got the Honey Lavender and the Blue Jasmine and Passion Fruit Swirl as a split single scoop. The Honey Lavender was amazing -- floral, sweet, strong. Classic flavor pairing. The Jasmine and Passion Fruit Swirl was phenomenal -- the perfect floral tea base from the jasmine butterfly pea, with a refreshing pop of fruity brightness piercing through from the passion fruit. I absolutely looooove a good floral-fruity moment! My sister got a split single of one of the flavors of the month, the Korean Coffee Corn Latte, and the other flavor was the Matcha Strawberry from their regular rotation of flavors. An aside -- Matcha Strawberry was smooth, rich, and not at all gritty. Even Matcha Cafe Maiko, sometimes their matcha can be gritty, and Maruwu Seicha too -- but this place was very good. Apparently, the kind of matcha they use is from Mizuba Matcha Tea Co. -- I'll have to check them out later! The Korean Coffee Corn Latte -- very coffee, very corn -- both strong and present flavors. One, I love that they offer a split single scoop in general. Two, all of their curated starting flavors are so unique and wonderfully picked. I can confidently say I've never seen SO many distinct and palatable flavors before in one ice cream shop -- although it may be a lot for people who prefer simpler, less complicated flavors (not I!). The quality of their ice cream -- I sampled half of them -- were all really, really good. So creamy, very consistent in quality, strong flavors. I'm not having to fight to taste and figure out what flavor I'm eating. This place is newly established in Berkeley, not a chain. The pink decorations in and outside the storefront are really cute. Their cups are cute too -- pink cow-print to match. Their menu layout is clear and appealing. Everything looks crisp, bright, and eye-catching. Also, service is excellent. I tried so many samples, and the employee helping us (one of the store's cofounders!) was very kind and patient, not pushy. The place is still pretty low-key -- they just opened a week ago, so I'm excited to see it gain more attention and flourish, hopefully becoming a mainstay in the Berkeley food scene. I may come back just to try the rest of their monthly flavors!

Best. Ice cream. In Berkeley. Full stop. I'm talking about the creamiest, dreamiest ice cream. The kind that disappears after a few minutes and makes you wanting more. When you walk in, it's a feast for the eyes. Every flavor has a distinct & colorful look and makes you curious to try them. So far I've had: * cheddar and candied walnuts -- the hint of cheddar is perfectly balanced with the crunch of candied walnuts * jasmine and passion fruit -- floral with a hint of tartness * ube malt crunch -- a classic flavor that never disappoints * Korean corn latte -- love the sweet corn puree in every bite My favorite flavors so far are the savory & sweet combos because they're the perfect balance of both. Seems like some flavors are seasonal so try them before you miss out!

Unique asian flavors! Owners are lovely and so nice! Eating their ube & cheese ice cream together is weird but classic filipino pairing of flavors. Their ube ice cream is my favorite. Highly recommend. Would go again.

Get ready to wait if you're going on the weekends. Well for the hot chocolate anyways. They have Asian ice cream flavors which are not super sweet. Cute small little shop. Can also look for parking on the side streets as well. Definitely worth the try.

Melt Me Creamery is my new favorite ice cream spot in Berkeley. They offer so many unique and delicious flavors, and you can really taste the quality in every scoop. The ice cream is smooth, creamy, and made in small batches, which makes a huge difference. I tried a few flavors and loved them all, the Asian-inspired options stood out the most. You can tell a lot of care goes into creating each one, and the balance of flavors is perfect. The staff was friendly and patient while I sampled a few before deciding. The shop itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. It's a great spot to stop by after dinner or while walking around Berkeley. Whether you like classic flavors or something a little more adventurous, there's something here for everyone. Definitely worth checking out if you're an ice cream lover or just want a sweet treat made with real ingredients and creativity.

Both S'more & Peppermint Hot chocolate were yummy! Service was great! Place is small but clean. Only downside there isn't any parking in the front so just be prepared to walk a few blocks, HOWEVER definitely worth the walk.

Amazing and delicious! Had the regular hot chocolate and it was gluten free and celiac safe.

This is my FAVORITE ice cream spot! I recommend to literally everyone! I've brought my whole family and partner here and we've all been obsessed with this place. The owners are very sweet and attentive. The overall atmosphere is great. I've discovered this place back in August and have consistently come back few times a month. Their staple ice cream flavors are amazing. However, I always look forward to their new flavors every month because there's always something that becomes my favorite for the month.

2 of us (+ dog--just a nibble) shared the "Flight" size, which is 4 mini scoops. It was $8.25 (a great deal when you're sharing and indecisive). Sprinkles were free! We tried Blue Jasmine & Passion Fruit Swirl, Classic Vanilla, Matcha Strawberry, and Ovaltine Flocos Crocantes. All the flavors were fantastic and we loved the blue jasmine the most! The vanilla together with the jasmine or matcha made it taste like a latte. The strawberry in the matcha is a little faint unless you stir it. Stools are available outside for seating and there's a couple standing tables inside (small space). Staff were so friendly, letting us try flavors and checking for allergies. I appreciate that all the flavors are labeled if it is vegan, gluten free, has eggs, or has nuts. Love the diversity of fun flavors and will definitely be back to try more!

Very unique flavors. I'd say they're a fusion/blend between Asian teas & fruits. Super nice people and good service as well. They're also very open to feedback, which I appreciate. You can tell there's true passion in the flavor profiles that they try to produce. The flavors we tried were: - Thai Tea w/ brown sugar mochi: Probably the best Thai tea ice cream I've had. The brown sugar mochi mimicks boba so it's a nice addition - Matcha strawberry: Very good. The strawberry is very subtle so you taste 90-95% matcha. - Hong Kong: My first time having Hong Kong ice cream. I usually only have it as a drink. This ice cream version is good. If you've never had HK flavored things before, be prepared for a strong tea flavor - Ube: Very solid - Bloodberry: If you like raspberry, this is a very strong raspberry sorbet in a good way. I enjoyed the very fruity flavor - Honey Lavender: Very solid. Sometimes lavender is overpowering, but this place balances it very well. If you ever had it at Salt&Straw, I think this place does it a bit better IMO.

we came to melt me creamery after hearing incredible things, and it completely exceeded our expectations with its artisanal, asian-inspired ice cream that tastes so thoughtfully crafted. the thai tea and brown sugar mochi was our absolute favorite, with a rich, authentic tea flavor and chewy mochi pieces that added the perfect texture. the earl grey lychee and matcha strawberry were beautifully balanced and refreshing, each letting their unique flavors shine without being overly sweet. the pandan tres leches pistachio was so unique and memorable. they rotate new flavors every month which gives us every reason to come back. the staff are so sweet and kind and super patient when trying out flavors. it does get busy although the line moves fast and so nice to sit with friends and enjoy our ice cream and feels very social inside.

This is a very cute shop! It's on MLK way and the inside is quite small. I would say possibly 5 people comfortably to order inside at a time. They had really good flavors, such as their Thai tea , Honey Lavender and their s'mores. Surprisingly they were able to make the s'mores flavor taste have a slight smoky taste as if you roasted a marshmallow! The staff is very kind and helpful! I was able to try 4 different flavors before I ordered.

This place is so good! I was so excited to see a new place that had some unique flavors of ice cream as well as fruit freeze. We tried a few flavors of ice cream, and they were spot on! I definitely recommend trying a few to get what you truly want. I had the strawberry matcha and it was very good. The fruit freeze is so similar to Gunther's from Sac. So refreshing and delicious ! The owner was so friendly and encouraged us to try flavors in their cute little shop. Definitely will be back.
