Shaded Saturday market with strong farm presence, excellent meats, and kid-friendly perks. The Houston Chronicle and Edible Houston praise its quality lineup, live music, demos, and neighborhood feel in Hunters Creek Village.

Google
Nice market but very little produce. Most offered is prepared foods but that may be to more peoples taste. I think there were maybe 5 out of 50 stalls that were selling just regular vegetables or fruits. Some prices were nuts. I'm all about supporting local businesses but $14 for a small jar of jam is nuts. I'd go back with the expectation that I'd be buying my breakfast and some treats but mostly no fruit or veg.

Google
Great farmers market. Wide range of many of vendors including several ranchers, Italian food (fresh pasta), veggies, honey, several bakers, olive oil, healthy snacks, prepared food (tacos, gyros, etc), a few crafts, juice, etc Fun family vibe Plenty of room to sit down and eat. Lots of parking on site and in the neighborhood Children’s playground. Great spot to spend a Saturday morning.

Google
Great medium sized farmers market. Get there early cause parking can be difficult. Lots of different vendors from bakeries, dog treats, flowers, fruits/veggies, etc. I would definitely come by another time to try out other vendors.

This was a nice farmers market. Lots of things to eat from fresh vegetables to baked goods, beef jerky, Indian food, micro greens, gelato, even had a chocolate maker. One of my favorite things to find is a coffee roaster. Purefi Coffee Roasters. Picked up a bag of their whole beans, "Shift", which is a blend, they had some info on their bag, there was a roast date on the bag.....yesterday's date, ground some and it's very good. Also enjoyed a hot cup of their coffee onsite, the day was cold and blustery so a cup of jo hit the spot. We'll come back.

I have been visiting this market for years. My work schedule prevents me, often, but I have to say there are certain stalls I hit EVERY time I go. Scotty's fermented products are SO good for your health. I buy the ginger beer by the half-dozen and the krauts are my go-to. The Rise & Shine Farm products are so delicious, their poultry and eggs are purely organic. Just Pure Flavors makes pure jams, jellies and curds. Very smart maker! He's not kidding- the flavors are crazy good. Baked by Drake, the delicious cookies, precious decoration kits and the really creative icings. Special orders available! I love the popsicle freezer. The fresh juice guy. The candle lady! The sourdough bread. GO! HAVE FUN, bring home foods from the goat cheese farm and the fresh produce stalls!! (Bring your little ones and your dogs, your friends and neighbors. Enjoy!)

Iwonna makes some of my favorite food in the entire world - Polish fare, done with such love and expertise. She makes the Ukrainian boy very happy!!!! Love her and love this farmer's market so much!

Google
#JoeSiteTour we definitely love ❤️ a farmers market, especially to see what local fare is available and how different and various vendors. This particular location has a green space in a park with several benches to sit down and enjoy your treasures, sweet drinks, or choice meals. #HowdyFromHouston #ThePropertyJoes #LivingLifeInHouston #Memorial #FarmersMarket #77024

Yelp
This market has a very pleasant ambiance (although the live music mentioned by other reviewers was nowhere to be found). Ultimately, I wasn't very impressed by the selection, specifically in regards to produce. I came mainly to stock up on produce but all the vendors had very similar stock. Very little fruit. I saw quite a few sellers of bread/baked goods. Friendly vendors. If you've got kids, there's a nice playground right next to the market. Swings, sandbox, etc.

Yelp
Fresh Flowers. Signature lattes. Above ground garden. Fresh plants and advice on how to garden. Specialty party foods. Custom cookies. Live music. Plenty of parking. This farmers market open Saturdays in the heart of Memorial has a little bit of everything.

Yelp
Great selection of food and products! I always enjoy my purchases of eggs, produce, honey, dairy, meat, and tea. All of the vendors offer incredible service and kindness. The ambiance is lovely with good music. Try to arrive right at opening time to make sure none of the vendors run out of what you're shopping for! Parking has never been an issue here!

Yelp
Avsolutely the best farmers market. There are Actual Farmers! Not junk vendors! Must haves: Baked goods from Angelas Oven Chicken salad & pimento cheese from Patsy Goat cheese and milk from Swede Farm Brenham kitchens jams and such Mushrooms from Rich MyCology And fresh veggies galore

Yelp
Fabulous farmers market! They have everything you could want. It's also run by the nicest man. We dropped our salsa by accident and it exploded everywhere. He rushed over to help and see if we were okay and then got us a new one at no charge. How kind of him! He didn't have to do that but I have a little girl who felt much better after his assistance.

Yelp
First time here and am ADDICTED. I never knew artichokes had beautiful flowers until I saw them here. They also sell beautiful sunflowers and other similar looking flowers in bundles for only $10. My favorites were the raspberry habanero jam, cheddar jalapeño smoked sausage, and the smoked Gorgonzola cheese. I wanted to buy a lot more but I really had to control myself because I'm shopping for only one person. I would definitely bring a friend to split with. You can bring your dog(s) and there's a space in the middle to hang out, listen to live music, and even yoga sometimes.

Yelp
If you want to get the best breakfast and coffee, look no further than this farmer's market. Arrive as early as you can at 9 AM to miss the heat. You can find local honey, flowers, homemade bread, veggies, micro greens, ice cream bars, and a treasure store of other foods and goods. A playground is adjacent which is covered by ample trees. Bring your dog. Local musicians often share their talent as well. There's something for everyone. Bring an insulated bag to keep your food fresh.

Yelp
Great selection of vendors with music and seating area. We always come here for fresh produce and kombucha. They always have a decent crowd but there's parking at two different entrances with clear signs.

Yelp
Great place to be Saturday mornings , shop at the farmers market, grab a snack and sip on some coffee while listening to some live music. Can't ask for more at a farmers market. Nice vendors with good quality produce. We enjoy going almost every Saturday .

Yelp
I accidental found this place by looking for something totally different then farmer's market. First I suggest to go to the market early to avoid stands running out of stuff. The place is located next to the church in church's parking lot. The parking is good but can be bit of hassle when it is busy. They have stands for fruits, vegetable and bread, hot dog, lemonade etc. My favorite are the bread stand and they call yard eggs. A tiny gem. There are a few unique vendors here that I have not seen at any the other farmer's markets around the city. Easy to find literally anything that you could possibly want or need, from fresh fruit and vegetables to miscellaneous household items. What a great place!!! I love starting off my weekend at this market! The location is perfect. On a quite street, with shade trees and good parking. The vendors are awesome and friendly. Numerous veggie vendors so you're sure to find what you want, also eggs, chicken, cheese, bison, olive oil, and so much more. :-) The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. There is a playground for the kids and seating for the adults. The music is great. Dogs are allowed, which is always a plus. :-D The artisan vendors rotate so there is something different each week. Besides food vendors there's pottery, jewelry, and dog treats. You should really incorporate this into your weekend. You won't regret it! :-D

Yelp
A few days after I found out about this farmer's market and that they were voted best market in Houston, I was able to come check it out. Maybe it's too soon to say, but I'm already in love! This is definitely a place I've been missing out on and wish I'd known sooner... So maybe there aren't as many vendors as Urban Harvest, but what they lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. My favorites are: 1) *Chef Evelyn Garcia's food stand* - She is a Food Network Chopped champion! (P.S. I used to be obsessed with that show, so this was a dream come true) The roti breakfast taco though...so unique and well done. Fresh herbs, delicious crisp/soft roti, flavorful Chinese sausage, and mushrooms. I also heard the Thai fried rice was excellent, but I was too full to even have a bite :( 2) *Cadenza Coffee * - I wanted a latte but their machine was down, so I had the cold brew coffee with a splash of half and half. SUCH good flavor, it was way better than I expected 3) *Popcart Handmade Ice Pops* - blueberry lime and strawberry watermelon popsicles both have so much flavor and are so refreshing, with real ingredients 4) *Johnson's Backyard Garden* - great organic produce! There's lots of variety and the quality is awesome 5) *Just Got Layed* - eggs with rich yolks from organically fed chickens 6) *Saint Francis' Meadows Farm* - I tried and bought the lavender berry jam...delicious 7) *Hestia Baking* - I bought a loaf of soft sourdough bread. There weren't any samples, but no regrets...this bread is so good It was hot out, but we still spent about 2 hours there. Parking wasn't super plentiful so I would definitely go early. On top of the delicious offerings, there were also string musicians and baby goats...hard to beat that!

Yelp
Great variety, very establish and consistent market. The best in the city of Houston. Don't miss DellaCasa Pasta.

Yelp
Great selection across the board!!!! Loved the fresh produce, baked goods and artisans. Would love to see more artists too! But the variety of food is fabulous!

Yelp
My new favorite! Great atmosphere with the option of shade. Live music is good. When its not too hot out they have free yoga. I love to stop by Unity Bread and get their turnovers. The peechy keen is to die for. There is also a guy who sells pasta right across from Unity Bread and its the best fresh pasta.

Yelp
I had a great experience here, I love how there are organic fruits and vegetables along with meats and shrimp that you can order straight from the producer. There are plenty of baked goods here and fresh pasta stalls! The only downside is that this farmers market is very expensive. To think that farmers market should be a little cheaper since you're buying directly from the person yourself, and it's not going through distribution or shipping or any of that, it's a surprise that these are significantly steep prices. I got the Fredericksburg peaches, they were $10 per bag. Each bag had about 8 to 9 peaches but they were extremely juicy and Delicious and sweet! I also got a sweet bourbon pie from this sweet woman, she did such a great job with this desert that I definitely want to come back! You can definitely tell that she put her heart into this. I have yet to try the lasagna I purchased from the Italian chef himself. But the lasagna was about $26, so I'm hoping for deliciousness. Aside from those, we sampled some brownies from different vendors and they were good, but not good enough for overprice.

Yelp
What to do in Houston during a pandemic? Visit this farmer's market. They took measures to make sure social distancing was observed and vendors wore masks. The selection was nice and we made sure to spend some money there!

Yelp
Wow! We visited this Farmers Market for the first time and picked up some pastries, breads, goat cheese spreads, and lasagna... I have always enjoyed goat cheese, but this is a new level and spread on the fresh bread loaves makes the PERFECT light snack. Everything has exceeded our expectations! Will be back this week for more goodies!!!

Yelp
This was actually my first farmer's market experience, believe it or not. Time constraints and distance have made them difficult to get to in the past, so I was thrilled to find one close to home with longer operating hours. I've been here weekly since discovering it a couple of months ago. This isn't the biggest farmer's market, but there is certainly enough to choose from. You can expect veggies, raw cheeses, baked goods, homemade jam, fresh pasta, and even Indian food. Unfortunately, no vendors seem to have much fruit. I've seen a few boxes of strawberries when I arrive earlier, but they seem to go fast. We almost always get some ravioli from DellaCasa Pasta, and some mini muffins from Awesome Bites Co - these muffins are so tasty, and they basically contain only fruits and veggies. They're a big hit with my toddler. A 2nd Cup is here weekly as well, and their iced lattes are on point. The main parking lot isn't super big, but there is a lot behind the church you can park in too. There are a couple of people directing parking to keep things organized. Overall, I think this is a great way for families to start Saturday mornings. There are some tables on-site, so you can enjoy coffee and pastries. There is also a playground attached to the church with well-maintained swings and jungle gyms.

Yelp
Not bad for a new farmers market. They have a variety of options- baked goods, vegetables, honey, mixed nuts, granola, etc. I didn't see any fruits tho. Hope to see more vendors soon! One that stood out was awesome bites co., they make the best vegan muffins. They are moist, tasty and not pseudo healthy.

Yelp
I love that there is a new farmers marker in town. This area has been in need of a farmers market for a long time and I am thankful for First Congregational Church of Houston for organizing one. So far there are about 13-15 vendors there. It's a great mix of artisan products, produce, and meat products. I look forward to getting the majority of my groceries from here. Last week I got some gulf shrimp that was fresh of the boat from the day before, a boiler chicken and beef bones from Richardson Farms, honey, bell peppers, and some super clean tasting aquaponic lettuce. It was perfect for me to cook my dinner for the week. The location is great for me and there is always someone out to direct traffic. Because people are in and out fairly quickly I have always been able to snag a parking spot no problem. For a new farmers market, it is well organized and has a great selection of vendors. I look forward to seeing what more this farmers market has to offer.

Yelp
Wide range of products, definitely food and farmer oriented. Bread, eggs, produce galore (some of it certified organic), both cow and goat milk and cheeses. Coffee and prepared food for breakfast or lunch under the trees with live music. Parking, a great playground, and real, honest to goodness restrooms rather than portapotties!

J M.

Yelp
Love this market. I think the food and vegetables are very good quality and they have a vendor that has the most beautiful "wild" flowers in mason jars. Give this market a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Great farmers market. They have good food vendors to buy breakfast, lunch, fresh juice while there. They also normally have live music, and sometimes baby goats for the kids.. Pun, intended

Yelp
I had no idea this little gem existed in the Memorial area, which of course I'm super happy about since it's close to home. Hubbs and I per chance passed a sign with the address and times. Even though we were already on our way to Trader Joe's, we couldn't resist. So, it's definitely on the small side, perhaps holding maybe 20 different stands... From local honey to local raw milk cheese to soaps to vegetation. Everyone we talked to was really friendly and knowledgeable, and it was an overall pleasant experience. I think it might be added into our routine as a monthly visit to stock up on homemade pickles and rustic kale

Yelp
I literally come to this farmers market to eat at Chef Evelyns Pop Up Shop -- SO GOOD. Get the naan tacos, so flavorful and delicious. Great to order and then shop around the market. Seriously check her tent out, you won't REGRET IT.

Karen K.

Yelp
This is a great farmer's market. Many different vendors and a lot of variety to choose from.

Jim T.

Yelp
Now up to around 50 vendors each week. Even more rotating musicians, plus a playground for kids, and air conditioned indoor restrooms.
