The food was delicious and the ingredients were high quality. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and the spicy curried couscous. The sandwich had good flavor and the chicken was good quality. I wished it was warm bc it’s a panini press but it was cold. The couscous is a great recipe, a bit spicy. The staff was very friendly as well. Sure it’s a bit pricey but the food was good. Spent $18 for a full sandwich, chips, and a large side. Didn’t love the atmosphere. Lots of sunlight which is nice and the temperature was good but it feels a bit corporate and the seating was uncomfortable. Like it’s designed for people to eat quickly and leave. The music was a weird blend of country and indie. I didn’t like the southern or “conservative” vibes as much. I might order takeout in the future but not somewhere I’d like to eat in again.

I love this place! The food is so fresh, the people are so friendly, and thevibes are chill. We have been here twice and both times I had the Thai mango salad. The flavor combinations are amazing! The flavors just burst in your mouth! My husband loved the Chimichurri steak & bacon sandwich. He said it was a very interesting combination of sweet and savory and the steak is very tender. We also tried the Thai sweet potato soup which was again very flavorful. The atmosphere is so cute and very chill. The bench seats have plugs if you are having a working lunch. There is also a nice patio.

Two years ago I would’ve whole-heartedly recommended this location. Since then, they’ve slowly shrunk the portions, no longer include a side with your sandwich, and cut costs on ingredients. Lowering the quality of the experience to maintain profitability is the oldest death sentence in the service industry. Today might be the final nail in the coffin for me. I ordered my usual sandwich and a side of curry couscous, which I have been paying extra for since they stopped including it. The container for it, which is normally filled to the top, was filled half way… and when I took a bite, it tasted *rancid*- like it’s been sitting unrefrigerated for too long and started fermenting. Horrible experience. Two stars because the sandwich was still good- it used to be filled much more though. If management doesn’t double down on quality, I don’t see this location staying open much longer. Classic restaurant death spiral: avoid increasing prices so you lower the quality to increase profitability, get customers used to your lower quality and you can’t justify a price increase. Eventually you can’t get out of it without taking on a significant loss. UPDATE: Since Mendocino responded to this pretty quickly, I want to make it clear that I will not be emailing them. I’m not looking for discounts or free anything. If they want to document the incident they have all the relevant info in the review. The only thing I want is for the restaurants that I visit to pay at least as much attention to food quality and food safety as they do to their online reviews.

Really delicious salad (baja salad) and the service was so kind and helpful. If I didn’t like it, they were ready to make me a new one for free! Although I didn’t take it, but it being offered was really nice of my server. Tre was his name if I remember. Highly recommend this place. Very tasty.

Average sandwich and super sweet lemonade $20. Not really worth it. If you’re wanting something a bit healthier flower child is across the street with better food options and same price.

Instantly met with great customer service by the staff. They walked me through the menu and treated me with the upmost respect as a customer. I enjoyed this service more than I have at almost any other restaurant I’ve been to. The food was great! I ordered a chicken sandwich with some balsamic glaze and almonds on it. Definitely worth coming back for! If I’m near the area, I would definitely make the stop for this location instead of any of the other quicker lunch options.

I recently visited Mendocino Farms in Addison and ordered the quinoa salad with tofu. I was surprised to find the quinoa crunchy, which was different from what I'm used to. When I mentioned this to the staff, they immediately offered to make me another salad with softer quinoa, without any hesitation. The new salad was absolutely delightful. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, with lettuce that was perfectly crunchy and small tomatoes that were so fresh they burst in your mouth, releasing a burst of flavor with every bite. The tofu was perfectly seasoned, adding a nice texture and taste to the salad. The avocado slices were creamy and ripe, adding a rich, buttery element to the dish. The red onions were crisp and slightly tangy, balancing out the flavors nicely. The mix of herbs brought a wonderful aroma and taste to the overall salad. The dressing was light yet flavorful, complementing the fresh ingredients perfectly without overpowering them. Additionally, their drink choices are so refreshing. We were greeted immediately as soon as we arrived. "Not So Fried" chicken was good, however, I was not a huge fan of the toasted bread. I like how it came with two sauces. The process is you order first then the server will take it to your table. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking. Two restrooms are available.

Mendocino Farms offers delicious sandwiches, but their scheduling options could be improved. Unfortunately, you can't schedule orders in advance, and their catering service requires at least 24 hours' notice. I recently ordered individual sandwiches through DoorDash for a meeting. While the sandwiches were tasty, they started to get a bit soggy by the time we were able to eat them about 45 minutes after delivery. However, a definite highlight is their lemon cookies - they are absolutely delicious!

One star for pricing vs quality. For two people to eat, get a drink, and a side, it will be 60$. I'd rather go to happy hour at any of my fave upscale steak houses. Horrible value. Just ok food.

My bf frequents this place occasionally. It's clean and smells clean indoors and outdoors is clean and has sunny as well as shaded areas. Excellent management and honest employees. Both plates were mouth watering and freshly made to order. The vegan bahn mi has a nice kick to it and perfect pickled veggies with tofu that is flavored so delicious that you forget it's healthy for you. Definitely a filling must have experience that we both will be back for.

The Modern Caesar Salad (curly kale, chopped romaine, housemade superfood krunchies, shaved parmesan cheese, red onions, grape tomatoes, avocado, lemon squeeze) with classic Caesar dressing on the side hit the spot, especially if you're looking for something healthy and tasty! Also, their homemade beverages are very refreshing and refillable next to the fountain drinks station.

Love the food from here! My company ordered it all the time for lunch which is how I first tried it, but the Addison location was really great for a quick stop for lunch the other day. The gentleman up front was super friendly, upbeat and service was great! I ordered my go to: the "not so fried" chicken sandwich with the basil pesto pasta shells as my side. The mustard remoulade that comes on it is so good. The chicken parm dip sandwich is an other fav of mine, but a slightly messier option because of all the sauciness. A lot of folks really like the spiced couscous, I order that on occasion. So would definitely try that, it's a side they're known for. Also the strawberry mint fresh lemonade was amazing! I got that for the first time and it was so refreshing.

Food was fantastic and fresh! My first time there but I definitely will be going back. Ambiance is lively and welcoming, service was very efficient.

Ordered the "Not So Fried" Chicken Sandwich and it has shaved, roasted chicken breast topped with Mendo's krispies, herb aioli, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, and pickled red onions on toasted ciabatta with a side of their chipotle BBQ or mustard pickle remoulade. Got the Spicy Curried Couscous as my side and it has roasted cauliflower & carrots with Mendo's signature spice mix (vegan). I was very skeptical when I saw my sandwich come out but it ended up being delicious! It tasted so fresh and had lots of flavor. I wasn't the biggest fan of the couscous, but that might also be because I don't really care for couscous in general. Just ordered it since I was told it was a customer favorite.

The area we sat in had outlets so we could plug in and use their wifi so we could get some work done while enjoying a meal. Sandwiches come with a side and their drink options aren't the normal sodas, so it's a nice change from the norm. Everything tasted good and we enjoyed our time here.

Will always love Mendo's salads! Got my usual Impossible Taco Salad which never misses. I do notice inconsistencies (across all Mendocino locations) where sometimes it comes with a tortilla and sometimes it doesn't. Also got the pink beet salad which is good! Service: Ordered online for pickup. It does typically take them 20+ minutes to prepare the food (across all locations), so order roughly 20 min ahead. Staff are friendly here! Ambiance: This location is spacious with floor to ceiling windows which makes it warm and bright inside. Ample parking. There's a La La Land Kind Cafe in the same plaza which is a plus.

Mendo is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. I always get the vegan banh mi and it's always delicious. There was one time that I found a piece of chicken stuck to my sandwich, and when I talked to the manager they were super apologetic and gave me a free meal coupon along with replacing my sandwich. It's saying something if a vegan is willing to give a place another try/go so often after experiencing cross contamination like that lol, but it was over a year ago and hasn't happened again since :) The way they handled it also played a big part in me coming back; the staff here is always so sweet and helpful!

I was here last week and enjoyed the Black Tie Turkey Club sandwich. I am back one week later for another one. I've been craving it! Clean, healthy fresh food!

Sandwiches are unique & tasty. Somehow, even the tofu (bahn mi) is good... but, hate that they removed the Thai chicken tender sandwich a while back. Cous cous is addictive

This was my first time here this place was amazing the staff was dope asf ! They brought our food out in a very quick manner! Ambiance was fabulous definitely come thru to this cozy spot by yourself or with a friend/ partner they definitely setup the vibe Kale salad brought everything together

This is truly my favorite place for a quick and healthy lunch. I've been coming to this location since it opened and the service is always fantastic, the restaurant itself is clean and the wait is never very long. My go-to order is the half sandwich and soup special, I get the vegan bahn mi + whatever seasonal soup is available. My fiance orders the Not So Fried Chicken sandwich + chips. We love the rotation of juices, this summer they have pineapple tajin lemonade which tastes just like pineapple chile candy we grew up eating - delicious. I would knock a half star just because the corn chowder was better last year than this year but otherwise this place always hits the spot!

Too bad that they don't give a real choice of veggie or fruit side anymore. They only give a tiny bag of chips. The value has decreased for the meals. Bring back the free sides.

Food can be very delicious but a lot of the time you get paper or plastic in your food and this was with their managers manager present (Scott).

Very fresh sandwiches and salads. The Pork Belly Ciabatta panini was very good and I would order again. My wife had the Avocado and Quin Salad, and it was ok. She probably wouldn't get it again, but only because the crunchy texture was not to her liking. Not an inexpensive lunch at $37 for two. The tip request on counter service is always a bit much. Not sure they read the table number you key in for your location as they twice delivered to the wrong table before trying to deliver our lunch to the wrong table (they had to call out the food to get someone to take it).

Listen. I have seen this place a gazillion times and never stopped in. I hadn't had dinner yet and wanted something semi-healthy . This place was perfect . This was a pick up order. Upon walking in, it's clean and welcoming. They were 30 mins from closing . The chicken presto caprese sandwich was amazing at every bite ! The bread tastes freshly baked, an amazing montage of flavors ! It comes with a side that you choose . I chose a spicy potato salad. You need this juicy sandwich !

My final lunch for 2022, I'm glad we stopped by Mendocino farms. We have been wanting to try this place again. We got the vegan Banh mi and turkey cheddar grilled sandwich. Both were very tasty and flavorful. I especially liked the different textures from the pickled carrots, radish(?), and the crunchy cucumber or jalapeños. My kid loved the grilled sandwich. She said it was the best turkey sandwich she ever had and liked the side of apples. The meal was brought to our table on metal trays and luckily the potato salad (you get to pick a side) that came with my Banh mi came in a to go package. I couldn't finish so that was perfect to take home! Next time we hang out in barnes and noble we'll come by here to eat! Fresh, healthy and delicious!

This is definitely a cute place to check out if you don't want your typical salad or sandwich. There is always their own neat little spin on their menu items. They have indoor seating and a cute patio to sit on which is perfect for the fall! I had a very weird interaction with the guy at the register, when trying to order my grilled chicken Caesar salad he informed me that there was no more grilled chicken and I could sub a different protein. He gave me the options and I went with steak. Then proceeded to ask me about having steak instead of chicken on the Not So Fried chicken sandwich. I don't know... just a very odd experience. The salad was good (I was craving the dressing so I stuck with ordering this), I just feel like there was way too much quinoa. My boyfriend's sandwich was way better though and way more flavorful and savory; I think this place shines with their sandwiches.

Since I'm a creature of habit, I always order the chicken pesto caprese sandwich for my main, and the spicy curried couscous for my side. They are consistently good! If you're a fan of savory and sweet flavors, give the chicken pesto caprese a try. The employees are always pleasant, and they do not skimp on flavor and serving sizes. I don't know how they do it, but their sandwiches are consistently full of flavor which doesn't happen often at other fast causal sandwich restaurants.

Great service with tasty food. I came on a Saturday for lunch and it was quite busy but everyone was served fairly quickly. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, plus their Thai turmeric lemonade is so good. A little noisy on Saturday but a good place for families after soccer or for lunch while shopping in the area.

The staff was very sweet and helpful with the menu when I came here for the first time! My friend and I decided to split two sandwiches (would recommend getting a full sandwich since they come with a side) and both were very good - can't go wrong with either. The portions were probably on the smaller sides but it was definitely enough for lunch. Interior is very cute, bright and great for get-together!

I love this restaurant so much and I order it quite a bit from Uber Eats. I do have to address a concern because it keeps happening. Each time I order through the app I always ask for an extra side of dressing because one dressing is never enough. Each time I've ordered they always forget the extra dressing and it's a little frustrating because the salad is so big. It would be really nice if this location would just double check and make sure everything is included in the order. Other than that, the food is great and the staff is very nice. I would just love my complete order each time.

I haven't had a sandwich this good in so long! We had no expectations coming into this place, but we decided to give something new a try. We came in and ordered to go on a slow night and the man behind the counter was so friendly! The restaurant was super clean and bright. They have fresh lemonades in place of soda (the mint pomegranate is my favorite). I went back for lunch today and could tell they were very busy with to go orders but even though it took a little longer, the staff was still very kind, (they gave me my lemonade on the house!) and that can make the wait not so bad! So be aware, they can get very busy during lunch, but it's worth it in my opinion, i already can't wait to go back and try something new again!

Food was really good! The manager was even better. He gave us great suggestions but even better he checked on us made us feel part of the family. We will be definitely be back for the food, but even more so for the experience!! We felt like we were eating at a family member or best friends house with how well he and others treated us. What a great lunch out. Just saw this showed in Addison? We ate lunch in Plano if that matters

Went in to order for lunch this week and was told the entrees no longer come with a side any longer sand just a basic bag of chips. Very disappointed that Mendocino chose to eliminate this and still charge the same amount.

I love Mendocino Farms! Anytime I want to eat a delicious healthy meal and come across any of their locations I always stop by for lunch or dinner. The locations are always clean, plenty of seating and decorated tastefully. I'm never disappointed with a service and the food is always really goods. My favorite is the farm club sandwich, Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada and basil pesto shells . The salad has a delicious crunch and flavor. The sandwich is my absolute favorite. If you have a chance to order the pesto pasta salad, do it! I was also pleasantly surprised to find a location in Dallas when we were in desperate need of some vegetables and food that wouldn't clog our arteries.

My favorite place for lunch! When ever I forget to pack a lunch this is my go to place. I love that you can order online and schedule to pickup your order, it's so convenient. I always order online so I can't really say much about the customer service. You can't really go wrong with anything you order. I love everything that I've tried especially the Thai mango salad. I highly recommend getting the rainbow side salad. It's so good, the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. I think about it all the time. Pro tip if you order online they have a 5 off 15 coupon. If you're in the area and looking for a place to get lunch I highly recommend this place.

Mendocino Farms is some stellar sammies and anyone telling you otherwise is outta their mind. Funny enough, my wife ate in an east bay location back when we were Californians. She had no idea it was chain and she about flipped outta her chair when she randomly saw it as we were driving around looking for a lunch spot. I had never tried it, but after my first experience I am hooked. Their classic not-so-fried chicken lives up to the hype. It is a juicy, tasty chicken sandwich equipped with a lot of crunch of "Mendo's krispies" which appears to be mini morsels of crunchy baked batter. It's a great touch. I ordered the chimichurri steak and applewood smoked bacon that was love at first bite with the marinated red peppers, caramelized onion jam, and herb aioli. For those that weren't paying attention - caramelized. onion. jam. I could eat that like a bowl of cereal every morning! Evidently, this is new to the menu. To the head honcho at MF who decides the menu: Keep this! So good! I had a small side of spicy dijon potato salad. No joke on the spice! I appreciate when a place puts "spicy" in a description and goes full spicy. Not those lame "oh we find some mild salsa and mixed it in" attempts that I unfortunately come across more often than not. Maybe it was a California thing??? If the seasonal soup is butternut squash, you are in for a genuinely delectable treat. I love butternut squash soup and it's a hard recipe to not be repeatedly successful with. I will give MF the thumbs up by saying theirs is one of the best versions I've ever tasted. I'm a fan of the blue sky decor. I'm a fan of the bright lighting. I'm a fan, period. I cannot wait to come back and try more of what they serve. My compliments to the chefs!

OMG SOOOOO GOOD! Had the most delicious, fresh dinner here tonight! I had the pesto caprese ciabatta & potatoe salad & homemade green drink & it was incredible! I don't eat sandwiches that often, but when I N dolce always get good ones, and I think this was the best I've ever had! My husband had the Farm Club and cous cous & gave 5 stars! It was piled high with delicious steak, sliced turkey, avocado arugula, on a party multigrain bread. Looks like everything was made fresh right off the farm! Kevin was the nicest person! Everything looks so good. I couldn't make up my mind so he gave us some samples and everything was delicious! He was very patient as I couldn't make up my mind and super friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend Mendocino Farms enough if you are looking for sandwich, this is the place to go. You'll thank me.

Such a cute and happy place to grab a lighter meal! I always leave Mendocino feeling satiated and guilt free They have a variety of interesting flavors that really tickle your taste buds. Salads are bigger than one might expect, the salad/sandwich combo is such a good deal, and the curry couscous side is truly one of the best things I've eaten.

I generally try not to do this but I could not find a way to contact the store to provide feedback. I order from MF every time I am in Dallas but this time I am very disappointed - the salad was fair at best as I had to pick out rotten pieces of lettuce - I finally gave up and stopped picking through it and just tossed it - the bottom of the salad was pretty much all brown or wilted. Made me sad as I do love their food.

Mendocino Farms was indeed created by foodies, for foodies. I am so disappointed I didn't discover Mendocino Farms earlier. Food: "Not so fried chicken": 11/10 I'm not a sandwich person, but since this was the recommended "Foodie Favorite", I gave it a try. The chicken was moist and delightfully cold against the warm, toasted ciabatta. The crispy bits layered at the bottom of the sandwich made eating the sandwich FEEL like you were biting into a fried chicken sandwich and added a much-needed crunch to keep the texture of the sandwich interesting. The mustard pickle slaw wonderfully provided acid and freshness to cut through the denseness of the chicken and ciabatta. This sandwich comes with a side of either tangy mustard barbeque sauce or mustard pickle remoulade, and I tried the mustard pickle remoulade. The remoulade was tasty, but this is a sandwich that can stand confidently on its own without any extra remoulade or sauce, since it already has a saucy slaw to add moisture to the sandwich. Spicy Curried Couscous: 6/10 The couscous was alright. It has a slightly spicy kick to it and tasted like the standard powdered curry seasoning you can get at the grocery store. I wasn't too impressed with the flavor profile of this side. Green juice (one of their house-made beverages): 11/10 You know how green juices are often leafier, vegetable-y, or bitter? And you pay $7 or $8 for a cup? This ain't that. This juice is more on the sweet side, just how I like my green juices. It's exactly what I want when I want a green juice. So next time I'm craving a green juice, I'll stop by Mendocino Farms instead of a juice place. Atmosphere: 10/10 The interior is SO cute. Great for a casual gathering. Decor is light and airy, and the seating area is spacious and comfortable. Service: 10/10 The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with menu recommendations.

My partner and I were craving a snack following the Addison Oktoberfest. There is ample seating and parking is not too difficult outside this restaurant. You can take a seat wherever you choose after placing your order at the counter; when everything is ready, your name will be called. The "Not So Fried" Chicken Sandwich and the side of basil pesto pasta shells were what we ordered. The sandwich was delicious and had a nice crunch. Additionally, the side of pasta shells with basil pesto had a nice balance of flavors.

There's a nice little patio and some vegetarian options. My husband liked his vegan banh mi and said it was sweet and the vegetables were pickled well. I enjoyed my Chinese salad with tofu, and my friend said the potato salad was good. It's counter service, and they have alcohol.

Such a great place. Met up with a friend to do work here. We arrived right before they opened and got to hear their pep talk. They were so hype to start working, I loved to see it. I was their first customer of the day and they made it a big deal. It was so cool The food was delicious and clean. Healthy vibes. They have some great juice options. The pesto pasta was delicious. I'm not too big on cheese but it was yummy. I got the Cesar salad and that was great as well. So spacious and clean. Great friendly staff. Highly recommend

I love the decorations inside this place! It's very unique and pretty! They have a diverse menu. Lots of international and unique flavor options, which surprised me given the name. I got the pesto chicken sandwich with a side of curry cauliflower couscous and a lemon cookie. The food was fresh and everything was very flavorful! I would get this again BUT there are several other things I must try first! The young Asian guy behind the counter was so very polite and helpful! I wish I remembered his name, bc he was great and needs a raise! That kind of service alone makes you want to come back! Thankfully their food is good too, so we will be back regardless!
