Healthy choice options conveniently located across from the central library. Friendly staff welcomed us as we came in. Came here to redeem a free cookie reward won at the library and ended up purchasing a pizza melt kids meal. The pizza came with slices of apples and a drink. Drink options are lemonade and other non-soda options. The pizza melt was disappointing. It seems like it's two slices of toast with spaghetti sauce and cheese sprinkled on. It reminded me of what kids would make at home. The taste is exactly what you would expect toasted bread with spaghetti sauce to taste like. A rather small dining area with options to sit outside. During our visit the inside was quite loud with the alternative ambient music. I suggest to management to lower the music a tad. The is restroom access but must request from staff member to let you in. Overall, I suggest sticking to the salads and sandwiches offered. From prior experience those options are much better than the laughable pizza melt.

I got an order to go and got the Mama’s Chen’s Chinese chicken salad. It was delicious, crispy and flavorful. I got the extra dressing to make it even more phenomenal. Probably one of the best Chinese chicken salads I’ve ever had. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.

Out in Los Angeles on a project and needed a quick sandwich for lunch. Mendocino farms was recommended to me and to try the chimichuri steak sandwich. I was very surprised at how tender the steak was, the sauce was super flavorful, the sesame bun perfectly toasted and a good size portion ! The atmosphere is hectic and they do a brisk business just by all the to go orders being seen The staff was very friendly, helpful and all had a smile while helping customers. Needless to say when back at this site, if I need a sandwich - I will definitely be back !

I got the Farm sandwich & small macaroni salad combo. The cashier was helpful by explaining the savings, & different options. The restaurant was clean.

Well crafted sandwiches and decent sized salads. Had the Turkey Avo and the Cesar, while I liked the sandwich entirely I wished it had more meat. I even ordered extra turkey but it seemed to be only a 2-3 extra slices. Not really worth the extra 2 dollars. Mendocino is a great but pricey option if you want to treat yourself. My order came up to 32 dollars even though it was just a sandwich and a salad. No regrets though. 😋

Great, healthy food. Had a MASSIVE sandwich and hearty salad there (could eat one or the other...) yesterday and it was great value and taste. Also gave me a comp drink while I waited (nice touch!).

My friend and I had, the pork belly banh mi salad and the Chinese chicken salad. The pork belly salad was really good, I asked for the dressing on the side to avoid overdressing but I am giving it a three star because for the amount and the style of the salad I felt like it was a bit overpriced (14.95$). The portion wasn’t particularly large either. A good lunch to have if you want to stay energized for the rest of the day. Don’t get me wrong, the food is really really good. It would deserve a four or five star if I had eaten one of their sandwiches (which I have had before) but I’d say for the salad, it’s more bang for your buck if you get their bowls or sandwiches for the same price.

First time visiting here- wow- food is very fresh and taste was amazing- had the vegan bahn mi and Philly shroom steak (half sandwiches)- both so good!! Highly recommend.
