We stopped here for lunch and the very first thing worth mentioning is the service from Gregory M, which was simply exceptional. I have been travelling around Los Angeles for two weeks and his service was genuinely the best we received on the entire trip. His friendly attitude, willingness to help, and excellent recommendations made the visit stand out. He is a real credit to the company. We were recommended the “November to Remember” special and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The sandwich was a generous portion and tasted as good as it looked. The turkey was high quality, tender and full of flavour, and the cranberry walnut toasted bread was outstanding. Everything was fresh, well balanced, and clearly prepared with care. To go with it, I had the house-made lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing and packed with real flavour. The restaurant itself was bright, clean, and welcoming, and we were served quickly without ever feeling rushed. The whole experience felt easy and relaxed, exactly what you want from a great lunch spot. I would happily come back here every time I visit Los Angeles in the future. Excellent food, outstanding service, and great value for the quality on offer. A must-visit if you are in the area.

Mendocino Farms in West Hollywood offers tasty, fresh food with a creative menu, and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. I tried one of their sandwiches and a side salad, everything was flavorful and well-prepared. However, dining in was a bit challenging due to the constant noise from busy Santa Monica Blvd. The atmosphere feels hectic, and the kitchen area could definitely use some cleaning and better organization. It felt a bit chaotic during peak hours. Still, the food quality and service make it worth a visit, just maybe better for takeout or a quieter time of day.

Loved it ! Fresh and healthy menu, unique flavors in the salads. They have a nice patio too ! (but some tables aren’t in proportion with the chairs in some areas - just a bit too high.)

We’re only in Hollywood for a couple of days, but we’ve already been to Mendocino Farms twice because the salads and food are unreal. Everything is so fresh, flavourful, and genuinely delicious. We were served by a really kind team member named Johnathon, who gave us great drink recommendations and even surprised us with some warm cookies — such a lovely touch! 🍪 We’ll definitely be coming back again before we head home. I was visiting California and was craving a sandwich with fresh ingredients. Oh boy this place did not disappoint. I ordered the turkey avo salsa verde with kettle chips. The sandwich was fresh and so flavorful probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I would highly recommend this place! Please open one in Washington DC!

Quick and fresh! I waw able to order with ease and the menus were very accessible around thr establishment. The options are filled with options that people with dietary restrictions can eat, for instance, peanuts and pork. The bathrooms were clean. But the overall best experience was the food mixed with the outdoor seating. Seating is plentiful from their patio to inside. But I reccomend the not so chicken sandwich and sitting outside enjoying the view!

I never have any complaints about any of their locations. Their food is always made very well; the quality is always consistent, and the customer service is never anything other than great. With that being said, this location is huge. They have a ton of indoor and outdoor seating that is spacious and comfortable to eat at. Are usually get their sandwiches because they're so good but this time I was at the goat cheese salad. It wasn't my favorite item on the menu, but still. If you haven't been here before I would recommend trying any of their sandwiches, especially the chicken ones, and also try literally any of their soups. My only complaint is that they don't have utensils for you to pick up. You specifically have to go ask for more napkins, spoons, forks, and so on.

Pro-tip: don't bother parking on Fermosa , Santa Monica or la Brea. You're not gonna be able to find one without patience, so don't be lazy, park in the garage -- 1st hour is free ! Deserves a re-review . I've held Mendocino Farms in somewhat mediocre regard. When I first moved to Los Angeles, I ordered a bahn Mi sandwich and thought it was overpriced at 12$ with inflation now it's like $5 more, but that's besides the point. It's not a Vietnamese joint, so I should have ordered something more 'them' for a first time. Had a few more sandwiches since, and none too were particularly impressive ; However, I really really love their salads. We're taking about a big , big, Seinfeld like salad! Ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the Chinese chicken salad on another day. Both were fantastic options. Ingredients were farmers market fresh and tasted like they were plucked straight from the garden . I'll give a bump, but I still won't order any sandwiches .

I get the "not so fried chicken sandwich" with no tomatoes & my husband gets the "Prosciutto & Chicken sandwich" .... Every time haha I'm a sauce girl so I really enjoy both the mustard bbq sauce & the mustard pickle sauces on the side for the sandwich! *** The spicy curried couscous is a MUST !! It's not spicy to me, but full of flavor and so delicious They say a large serves 3-4 people, but we can definitely share the whole thing between the two of us, sometimes we just each get a small instead of a large We've gotten catering once and the couscous was HUGE... it was my favorite part haha + consistency is great here, I love a reliable place where I know the food is going to be amazing every time + fills you up!!

I am never disappointed with this place. I tried the limited time street corn chicken sandwich and it was good. I love sauce on my food so I was given one that had a little spicy kick which hit the spot. I would definitely love for them to bring back the rose lemonade drink. The service was great and definitely received some good suggestions from the cashier. The place was clean and plenty of seating inside and outside.

We ate around 3:00pm there. I loved their Pink Lady Beets & Goat Cheese Salad. My husband had the not so fried chicken sandwich and my son had the turkey ava salsa verde sandwich with lemon chicken soup. All items were well prepared and delicious. Their sauces are so delicious. They add a special zing to the food.

I personally love Mendo's, and this is my first time at this location. The staff is extremely pleasant and the salad tasted great, but what on earth is going on with the portion sizes? I only ordered my impossible taco salad without onion or cherry tomatoes - but to not even get close to filling the to-go container is a bit jarring.

I used to be a die hard mendo fan. It would be the first meal I'd order after coming home after a vacation. Recently the quality of food and service has nosedived so much and easy to see. I ordered from them a few days ago for me and my mom and we both got food poisoning. 4 days of having been couched and sick and spent $1000 on IVs. Won't be eating here anymore. Goodbye Mendocino Farts.

I had eaten up the one in Studio City and did not have the best food experience but I decided to try it again and I'm glad I did. First let me give a shout out to Kameron who was the person that took my order and they were lovely and very helpful with a smile on their face and a positive attitude Which I appreciate anytime encounter something like that. I got the pork belly sandwich. It is so big and so good. I only finished half of it and one sitting. The juice options were very delicious. I got the green one and loved every sip. Will definitely be back!

The chicken Parm Dip sandwich was warm and comforting, the southern macaroni salad was tasty, and the Pomegranate Mint Lemonade took me to a garden with hummingbirds and water fountains. It has a very clean and botanical taste. Very calming and blissful. The customer service was exceptional! The managers Jake and JC were kind, patient, and professional. Itzel and Maggie were very attentive and warm. This location is clean, cozy, and I love the long and tall windows allowing just enough sunlight to enter. Overall, I enjoyed my brunch at this location and I will be back :) Thank You for your kindness and warmth.

This place is delicious. Food is high as hell these days but honestly, their sandwiches are worth it. Every bite is heaven. Succulent sandwiches. Nice staff. Clean establishment. Happy customers. My favorite sando is the Peruvian Steak. It gives you everything you want in a sandwich. Feasted to perfection.

Really wonderful place, every single food option is excellent. Highlights for me are the Not-so-fried sandwich and the quinoa salad, consistently excellent every time! The staff is also super nice and friendly: shout out to Maggie, the most awesome of them all!

First of wanted to say thank you for the Host Gregory! The guy was super helpful and had a great attitude! Got the Peruvian Steak sandwich and it was . Gregory recommended avocados and that was definitely the way to go! Could have definitely enjoyed 2 of them instead of 1 sorry but my picture might be a mess since I devoured it.

Always one of my favorite places to get a healthy lunch. There's something for everyone on the menu and the service and quality at this location is top notch. I love that they take care to actually plate your food for dine in with reusable cutlery. So many places that do take out orders have eliminated dine in options and I am very thankful for the pleasant environment every time I am here. Outdoor seating is a must. Mama Chen's Chinese chicken salad is my Favorite!!!

I found plastic in my goat cheese salad. On top of that, there was no goat cheese in my salad -_- this place is usually our go to spot but quite disappointed

I've been to many locations for Mendocino and they have pretty good sandwiches. They even have gluten free bread which I usually opt in for. Their banh mi flavours are delicious and their aji steak is so yummy!

I went tonight for my first time there with my family. The employee working was absolutely phenomenal. Kind, patient, and all around amazing human! Her name was Samantha and we were truly lucky to have her. She definitely deserves a promotion or raise :). BTW the food is incredible.

I paid nearly $30 (!) on Doordash for a vegetarian goat cheese salad -- no meat -- and there was no goat cheese in it lol. Guess they forgot it. So I paid $30 for plain mixed greens. I need a second lunch now.

Salad portions were huge! Right amount of chicken and goat cheese flavor distributed well throughout. Hate when you have to go looking for that flavor and that was not the case here. My friend and I decided to go for the chicken parm which seemed like it didn't belong on this menu?? Haha but it was good, we were surprised at the amount of flavor they were able to achieve with the sandwich and sauce on the side which came with. The sauce was somewhat spicy, I believe it was Calabrian peppers? Not sure but it was a nice little kick. Also did I mention they have lemongrass turmeric lemonade, rose lemonade and green juice ON TAP AKA refillable?? Major game changer! They were a bit sweet but you can always mix them with water.

This place is great and you can set your watch it to it never lets you down the ingredients are always fresh everything tasty and service is always good too, if you are in this complex it's honestly the best thing around and it's next door to Formosa so always a cocktail within feet

Appreciate the 1/2 sandwich and side dish combo for someone who doesn't eat heavy, this was just enough to fill me up! Overall, juicy and flavorful :)

I've come to this Mendocino Farms location multiple times, mostly for large work lunch orders, and every single time, my experience has been phenomenal. Not only is the staff reliable and quick, but also extremely kind, professional and will go above and beyond to satisfy all customer's needs. Whether it's a last minute change/addition in an order at pickup or helping track down a receipt, never have a shadow of a doubt all employees will deliver; on top of there being a good work culture and an overall amazing vibe. Special shoutout to the GM Jake, who was so patient and generous with his time in helping me track down a receipt once, as well as Sam, who was super sweet and encouraging over the phone as I was placing orders during a hectic day. Super happy and appreciative for all they've done.

Ordered online via Google "ORDER PICKUP" on Monday, 1/3/2022 around 11am right when they opened. It said pickup was ready in 15 minutes, and it was! Pickup was smooth, no issues at all what so ever! I literally walked in and to my right was a large shelf with all pickup online/postmates/uber eats whatever orders. I walked right up to it and then a staff member greeted me there. I told him my name and that I ordered online and we both saw my name on their paper bag right away (see picture)! I am vegetarian and really like their Vegan Banh Mi. This is the only food I have tried at Mendocino Farms and I always order it. It was delicious and consistent with other Mendocino Farms locations. Will definitely be returning again!

The Roast Beef sandwich was absolutely delicious! So was the staff. Excellent sandwich place!!

This place does not pay attention. I ordered a vegan sandwich and they ended up serving me a meat sandwich. Noticed this after I took a bite. You would think Vegan in the description would be a clue to not add meat. If you can get the food you want, then the place is good. This place has also charged me for items that I never ordered. So, check your credit card statements carefully after visiting.

I come here at least once a week and I don't know why they don't have better reviews. If you want a healthy quick and easy meal to grab and go, this is the place. It bothers me that there are poor reviews about the service because any time I've ever been here, the cashier is super friendly and nice. They recently told me about a rule they have which is to get you to try new menu options. If you don't like what you ordered, they are happy to switch it out for you for free! But there has never been anything I've ordered here that I don't like. I usually go for the Thai mango chicken salad, but decided to try their quinoa salad and it did not disappoint! I love how their dressings are never overpowering and they offer you the option to get the dressing on the side instead of smothering it with dressing. Also they can split your salads and serve separately if you plan on sharing! I tried the fried chicken sandwich and the Peruvian steak sandwich and I think I like the fried chicken sandwich more. You really can't go wrong here. Seating: there's always plenty of indoor seating, they also have a patio for outdoor seating. I saw heat lamps, but I'm not sure if they leave them on Parking can be tricky at night, but there's a side street with metered parking as well as parking on Santa Monica which is metered as well.

Very accommodating for gluten free diners! Many gluten free options and menu items that's can be made gluten free. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak & Bacon sandwich, with gluten free bread. It was delicious, I took a glutenese, but did not get sick at all. My sandwich came labeled as gluten free with a red tamper sticker to ensure my food was safe. Would highly recommend!

Had an iconic chicken parm sandwich today and left feeling so satisfied. I love their green juice and the overall feeling of the food they serve there. Prices are worth it for what you get here: a chill ambience, good portion sizes, and deliciousness!

We walked in and one of the employees was very attentive, answered questions, and ran through some of the menu faves. All the employees were nice. The couscous was excellent, fresh juices were refreshing, the patio was also very nice on a hot day

I just discovered this deli sandwich chain that originated in SoCal and I'm blown away with their kick-ass panini sandwiches. The freshly made panini bread is grilled to crispness but still has the soft element to it. The no-so-fried chicken and the original pork belly bahn mi sandwiches are my favorite. Pickled flavored route 11 chips work very well with the sandwich.

tl;dr - One of the faster and more modern Mendocino farms out there. They have a big pick up and delivery station and you can check your place in the order queue. Server - Ellis and Jerry. Both very sweet guys. Mood going in... In and out - Was a very busy day for me and my coworker. We had to go in and out to get some lunch. Reasons to go... 1. The food is always good at Mendocino. 2. Curry couscous is the best side 3. Menu changes with something fun and new every few months. I had the Air Fried Thai Chicken Sandwich today. Reasons not to go... 1. It's pretty pricy for the portion sizes. Takeaways/tips... 1. Try the couscous 2. They cater if you are looking at an upcoming office event planning.

Great place for a light and refreshing meal. Came after hiking at the Hollywood sign. They have outdoor seating, great for people watching on the sidewalk. Parking: easy parking at the parking garage Ordered the "not so fried" chicken sandwich and it was great! I liked the little crips included inside the sandwich that made the "fried/crunch" texture. The toasted ciabatta also had a nice crunch which didn't make the sandwich soggy quick.

Mendocino Farms always hits the spot. I get the Peruvian steak sandwich on gluten-free bread and add avocado usually. This particular location features an underground parking lot with an hour free after that you have to pay. I came in for a work lunch and they were able to make my order in about 10 to 15 minutes on a relatively non-busy day. The customer service was great and everybody seemed happy to help with a friendly smile. Mendocino Farms always seems to get a five star from from me usually and this location seems to be the same as other Mendocino Farms restaurants.

Great service, everyone is really on their game here. Very busy spot for lunch, can get loud and be difficult to find a place to sit but the staff is great, get your order out quick and clears spots as fast as they can for the next customer. Food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable for the portions.

Great fresh food that is always consistent in flavor and portion. I've always received excellent service at the different locations I've been to. Not sure what management is doing to find their employees, but it is working. Everyone has always been friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. Price point is pretty decent and I'm comfortably full. I actually always end up getting two menu items and then saving half of each for my next meal. Or forcing my husband to eat the leftovers. I can't NOT get the avocado superfood salad (love the textures and delicious dressing) but I also want a sandwich because the bread is delicious! Love this option for lunch, or even dinner when I tell myself I need to be healthier... which is always the case, but a voice I typically ignore.

Need a quick brunch meal before heading to work. Stopped by on my way to another spot around the corner from the job. Was before thanksgiving so, the sandwich with turkey, stuffing, cranberries etc. was calling out to me. The other sandwich's on menu sounded delicious & the place was busy for a weekday morning. Staff was super nice! Waited a little to get my food but was fairly quick to be so busy. Sandwich was not so good. I've had thanksgiving sandwiches before & this one needs work. Had lettuce, which did not vibe with the other ingredients. Ratio of other ingredients was off, plus the bread was grainy and a bit hard. Arnold Palmer was delicious.

This particular Mendocino is close by so I always wonder why I don't frequent it more often. Mendocino reminds me of a Californiafied version of Panera: sandwiches, salads and soups with a bit more avocado in it and established vegan/vegetarian choices and options to make things Gluten free. I'm not knocking it, it's just the general vibe that I get. I've gotten the sandwiches here and despite their weird sandwich classification system- I have no idea what criteria they have for 'foodie favorites' but I usually go for one of their steak options. My latest visit I met up with a co-worker and got the bistro steak sandwich-a 'craveable classic' with a side of their potato salad and an Arnold Palmer-they were out of the beer I wanted and found a seat. They ended up bringing the food out to us. The sandwich was about 7.5/8 inches or so and a Californiafied steak sandwich. They swapped out some of the classic toppings with slightly upgraded ingredients that, didn't make that much of an impact. It was decent but the roasted tomatoes instead of fresh, arugula instead of lettuce, onion jam instead of onions didn't make it any better. If anything it kind of made the small amount of steak on the sandwich a little more noticeable. It's a decent place for a healthier lunch but nothing I would be super excited to go back for.

Destiny and Greg are the best! They both recommend great meal pairings and help you figure out with menu items suit your palate. Mendo's housemade beverages are also very delicious. My favorite is the Turmeric Lemonade, so refreshing!

I'm assuming that you know these spots and that you love these spots. You're right -- these are some of the most cleverly conceived sandwiches out there, and the staffs at the different joints I've visited have been unfailingly friendly. A great experience every time!

This is my favorite lunch spot. I've been coming here since it opened. The current staff is by far my favorite iteration. The food is truly fantastic. I used to be a sandwich loyalist. Not So Fried and Farm Clubs were my staples. They've had a few recent salad revamps and now I'm hooked on the Pink Lady Beet salad. Everyone who works here is super friendly. Almost everyone here has taken the time to learn my name and favorite dishes. I'm a super fan and eat lunch here roughly 3-4 times a week. It my favorite place to grab a quick and delicious meal.
