Menudo was great, the flavor is 10/10 there. I liked the fact that they brought a lot of all the fixings. The small size was more than enough for me but I also added a taco de tripa which was also so good with the homemade tortilla. The service was good too, very fast and attentive. I will say though it was my first time here and the not having a menu kind of threw me off but I will be coming back for sure.

This was our first time coming here we ordered Menudo and Posole it tasted great with great flavor. The tortillas were the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for some great food to give them a try. We will for sure be back.

Delicious home made food. We are from Colorado and if we are ever in Omaha you bet we will stop by and have pozole and menudo. The tortillas are always fresh hand made. Tacos, tortas, quesadillas, soft drinks and aguas frescas are always served. Service is fast once you are seated (A couple of times we have had to wait for a table but it is worth the wait). Highly recommend.

Please stay away from this place. First there is no menu the prices are outrageous $50 to $60 for a small bowl of menudo and the food is not all that. Food just tastes like it was from a can..DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME AND MONEY PLEASE.

This family run and owned restaurant serves the best menudo in town. The rest of their menu is just as delicious. You are getting homemade quality food, and service that merits your generous tips. You can even bring your own container. They will serve you up some menudo to go.

Menudo was bland. You can find better menudo elsewhere, like Sam's or El Ranchito. Also they're too expensive. 2 bowls of menudo and a quesadilla was $50.00. You can find a cheaper price at the other places mentioned previously. Lastly, we asked for water and they gave us water bottles just to charge us.

People usually don’t like menudo but La Purisima serves the BEST menudo in South Omaha. Reminds me of abuelo’s food! I won’t eat any other kind of menudo, there all trash except this place!

First time going in and the food was good. The restaurant had a lot of old furniture but it looked and felt clean. There were no paper towels in the women's restroom so maybe that was an oversight. The only part I am left questioning were the prices. I felt as if I was overcharged for the food. There were no menus to look at so I went off the website and I still don't understand. The owner was nice and respectful but he wasn't the one handling the register. I may rethink going back.

Yelp
Tony the owner is soooo nice! He goes out of his way to make you feel like you are eating in his home! We had pozole, delicious Chile relleno, and awesome menudo!!! It hit the spot! They only open from fri- Sunday and the menu is pretty small but solid!

Yelp
Their menudo and tacos were good and fresh. Menudo is too pricey. Small 10, Medium 12 and large 14.
However, the restaurant overcharges on sales tax.
City tax 7% and restaurant tax 2.5% and take it times 2 it's what I was charged. See attached receipt.

Yelp
Excellent place for Menudo and Pozole. Family owned and very friendly. We ordered menudo and Pozole and they were delish!! The menudo does not have hominy but if you want it, you can ask for them to add it. The tortillas were not the best...but they got the job done. We ordered menudo, Pozole, shared a soda and it came out to nearly $30! It was a bit pricey but was well worth it. The restaurant is one of Nebraska's hidden food gems!
