Barcelona’s Best Markets: Where to Eat at La Boqueria and More | Eater

"A working-class neighborhood market notable for its modernista architecture and reliable selection of fresh produce and ready-to-go meals, popular with commuters and travelers heading out by train. Counter stalls whip up excellent sandwiches piled with paper-thin Iberian ham and cheeses, and vendors offer classic takeaway dishes such as fideuá, stewed beans, croquetes and empanadas — perfect for a meal on the move. The market’s practical focus and proximity to main rail links make it an ideal stop for grab-and-go sustenance." - Chris Ciolli

Excellent market. Amazing fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. Historical building. Absolutely, worth a visit. Avoid going during August as a lot of stalls and shops are closed due summer holidays.

Beautiful market a little bit tuck away for tourists to see. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and prepared foods. Be aware of opening and closing time

Very nice local market. Bought hand sliced Jamon.. the price vs the quality this place offer is a steal. If you have a kitchen, get a piece of toro tuna. The price is less than 10% to the tokyo market.

We were disappointed by our visits to this "market"! There was not much to show for. Though this place looked news, it was as if it had been deserted for some time!
