Slow AF service but the Cuban coffee here is worth the wait. Don’t go to some well known chain - if you’re nearby and want authentic, stop here.

Food is good, service is if bad. I tend to go here often because it’s nearby to work, I don’t speak Spanish but can get by with basic words. Every time I go there for coffee and a pastry the 2 lady’s working are always without fail very rude and cold, they always have attitude and They murmur in Spanish, it can make for an uncomfortable experience.

This place is amazing. The service is great (even if you do not speak English). The food is amazing.

This place is like an oasis in the middle of a desert. We were driving surface streets back to Miami airport this morning. We stopped at this place because there were several cars parked out front. The restaurant is clean and friendly. The waitress was excellent. We shared a breakfast combo with 2 coffee con leches. Great breakfast and the best coffee we had on our entire vacation by far. It’s only about 7 minutes from the airport and beats the hell out of any chain restaurant. I highly recommend this place and am putting it on my saved places for our next trip.

Perfect customer service and FOOD! atmosphere is 3 stars since there was a homeless guy cursing at everyone. Besides that they are a MUST to visit :)

Was in my work truck headed to a customer in Hialeah! Made a spontaneous stop - What a great group of people in this establishment - I found. Very friendly - quick to serve - professional at the grill - great "Cuban Style" coffees - and some pastries to go - It was a brief stop - yet I left with some wonderful treats!! I was very pleased with my purchase.

Customer service was not present today. The young lady helping me seemed as if she didn't want to be to work today. No warmth or anything. She simply took my order, told me the price, took my money and walked away. No thanks for coming or anything. The reason for the two stars is because despite her lack of customer service, the cafe con leche was made to perfection and also because they only offer one size. I wanted a bigger cup. I guess my job and other cafe's has me spoiled with various sizes.

this place was definitely out of the way but i'm so glad i took the recommendation right after getting off my flight. the chinola juice was fantastic! and the empanadas were so good!!

It really strikes me when the quality, quantity and taste of food is good but the service from several employees is just unacceptable. They have a lady who works here which I don't know her name but her demeanor is always a negative one. Sometimes I'd rather go elsewhere to not have to deal with her. The way they speak to the regular clients is a bit over board in front of the patrons. Pricing for food is absurd and not worth it. Not eating here again

I think this place changed into a different place it not Mercedes coffee shop it's a Cuban mini market type convenience store with produce meats cheese etc along with a small cafe, they didn't have any meals right now, just some lukewarm croquetas pastelitos and empanadas, I got a cortadito which was good and also a chicken empanada that tasted ok but kind of weird like fish, would not eat here again; I also bought an avocado.

Best Cuban food in ALL of Hialeah, would definitely recommend it to everyone I know. Friendly staff, great coffee, and awesome food. The place is very clean. One word to describe my experience... PERFECT!!!
