"Mercedes Coffee Shop looks like any of the other warehouses lining 54th Street on the edge of Brownsville and Hialeah. But the cafe con leche is worth stopping for—as is the rest of the classic Cuban dishes. This place opens before the sun rises, so it’s the perfect place to grab breakfast before work. Mercedes opens at 5am on weekdays, and also has a drive-thru if you're running too late to put the car in park.
