Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Al Ain Hotel

"How did it strike you on arrival? At an elevation of 3,000 feet, this mountain resort overlooks Al Ain and the Oman border. The atmosphere of the hotel itself isn't particularly destination-worthy, but the surrounding scenery is. Nice. What’s the crowd like?A large conference center means lots of local business travelers, but the hotel is popular among honeymooners and couples, too. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Rooms are a bit dated and lack any sort of discernible regional flair. Headboards in the suites have elaborate wood inlays, and white bedding is accented with tropical hues. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Beds are comfortable, but beware that some double rooms consist of two twin beds pushed together. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms are on the smaller side, with dated tiling and so-so amenities. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is free, strong throughout the property, and fast. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The hotel's mountain-top location makes for great views, overlooking the pool and Al Ain below. The pool is spacious, with a bar for you and a waterslide for the kids. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?Al Ain isn't exactly a hotbed of luxury resorts, but Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet gets the job done." - Laura Ratliff

My one-day stay at the Oryx Grand Hotel Jebel Hafeet was a great escape. The stunning location on the mountain provided a peaceful atmosphere with breathtaking views of the city below. The hotel's services and amenities were a highlight of the trip. The “deluxe room" was [clean/spacious/comfortable] and the view was incredible. We especially enjoyed the pools , which were perfect for a quick day of fun. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it for a quick, relaxing break.

Clean and welcoming hotel! The staff, especially the receptionist, were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotless, but the furniture feels a bit dated — a touch of modern luxury would make it perfect. Overall, a comfy stay with great service!

My stay at Oryx Hotel was overall comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean, staff were professional and welcoming, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Dining options were satisfying, with a good variety and attentive service. Facilities like the pool and gym were well maintained, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. However, one disappointment was that the kids’ play area was closed for maintenance throughout my stay. As a family-friendly hotel, this facility is very important for parents and children alike.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the stunning view from the balcony – waking up to panoramic mountain/sunset/lake views each morning was unforgettable. It truly felt like a retreat away from the noise of everyday life. The food was exceptional, with a variety of fresh, flavorful dishes served at their restaurant. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was prepared with care and beautifully presented. We also appreciated the free and convenient parking, which made traveling in and out stress-free.

It was an amazing stay the hotel view and breakfast is always outstanding but the facilities along with the guidance by Mr. Hamed is truly recommended. He gave us extra beds in amazing prices. Its been our 3 consecutive year going to this hotel and we are always enjoying it more then the previous time.
