"How did it strike you on arrival? At an elevation of 3,000 feet, this mountain resort overlooks Al Ain and the Oman border. The atmosphere of the hotel itself isn't particularly destination-worthy, but the surrounding scenery is. Nice. What’s the crowd like?A large conference center means lots of local business travelers, but the hotel is popular among honeymooners and couples, too. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Rooms are a bit dated and lack any sort of discernible regional flair. Headboards in the suites have elaborate wood inlays, and white bedding is accented with tropical hues. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Beds are comfortable, but beware that some double rooms consist of two twin beds pushed together. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms are on the smaller side, with dated tiling and so-so amenities. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is free, strong throughout the property, and fast. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The hotel's mountain-top location makes for great views, overlooking the pool and Al Ain below. The pool is spacious, with a bar for you and a waterslide for the kids. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?Al Ain isn't exactly a hotbed of luxury resorts, but Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet gets the job done." - Laura Ratliff

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The pool was nice and slides were the biggest hit with the kids, but the water could have been a bit warmer. Breakfast was really good and the items were fresh. In house restaurants were also a big convenience and offered a decent variety. The hotel is ideally located and offers excellent facilities, making it a great choice for both leisure and business stays. However, I would recommend that management pay closer attention to maintenance and upkeep, as some areas could benefit from a little more care. With more attention to these details, it would truly elevate the overall guest experience.

What a lovely hotel to spend family time with kids of all ages as the location is awesome food is excellent as it is very tasty and has good variety of options in the menu. Service is also very good staff are very friendly and courteous The pools are good with water slides and small splash park for infants toddlers and kids. Playground is good for kids of all ages to play Suggestion that in this weather pool should be temperature controlled so we can enjoy the water activities There is enough activities offered within the hotel to keep one entertained on the top of mountain Room service was very prompt Best part was the mini gold 🤩

We traveled from muscat and enjoyed our one night in hotel. We paid 184+breakfast(100AED). Unfortunately the main pool was closed for maintenance but we were given access to heated pools in hotel next door. The resort is quite beautiful on top of mountain. Great views from hotel. Also there is mini golf, table tennis included in price. Squash and other kid games are paid but not so expensive. We enjoyed our buffet breakfast and stay and recommend it especially if pools are open.

We have a pleasant stay here during our winter vacation. This hotel is a family friendly hotel with a beautiful view to explore. Hotel architecture is great. The pool is big enough for the kids and adults. The location of the hotel is very nice and calm. During check-in time, a staff in-charge, Ms Abi is really friendly and helpful. She accommodates us in a very good manner. I recommend this hotel for family with children.

This hotel does not meet Accor standards and can be rated as a 2-star property. There is a significant shortage of staff. Calls to reception or housekeeping often go unanswered, with only 1 out of 10 calls typically being answered. During peak hours, the hotel must increase its staff to provide better service. The rooms are not clean. When moving the bed, there was a lot of dust underneath. Additionally, the flush in the toilet was not working. On a positive note, the play area staff are friendly and helpful, which is commendable. Overall, you can enjoy the stay if you’re visiting a winter hill station, but it’s best not to have high expectations from the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very family orientated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are amazing, my kids enjoyed it very much. We will most definitely come back. The restaurants and drinks were amazing. A great selection of food at the buffet and very affordable. Thank you so much.

A comfortable stay with standard amenities, though nothing particularly outstanding. The room’s AC wasn’t functional, but it was manageable due to the winter season. The shower had low water pressure, which was a bit inconvenient. The pool was uncomfortably cold even at 10 am, as it hadn’t been heated early enough. However, the property is in a great location with plenty of activities for kids and families to enjoy.
