"How did it strike you on arrival?At an elevation of 3,000 feet, this mountain resort overlooks Al Ain and the Oman border. The atmosphere of the hotel itself isn't particularly destination-worthy, but the surrounding scenery is. Nice. What’s the crowd like?A large conference center means lots of local business travelers, but the hotel is popular among honeymooners and couples, too. Headboards in the suites have elaborate wood inlays, and white bedding is accented with tropical hues. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Beds are comfortable, but beware that some double rooms consist of two twin beds pushed together.
