Mermaid Raw Bar & Champagne Room

My review is based off one drink and one server! Walking by we saw “pretty drinks” and decided to stop and try their champagne packs. We did not go inside the restaurant so my review is based on the outside bar and the bartender alone. She was very informational very sweet upbeat and gave me a great recommendation! I will have to try the food out when I’m back in the area!

Bishop Arts is the place to be, but this location is a whole dang Vibe. You've just been Baed, by Review Bae. Let's start with the ambiance.. 1. There's parking everywhere, so you should have no problem. 2. The location is uniquely styled to perfection for any selfie snap 3. There's lots of outdoor seating and beautiful shade Our waiter was Antonio and he was epic. Best customer service, smile, and personality. He described everything perfectly and we did try his fave, the oysters, $3 a piece and they were good. The drinks in this area are $13 a piece, but there's a full bar inside and a beautiful dining area. I love the mermaids on the glasses, I thought they were gummies....they're not lol. We entertained each other for about 3 hours and it was a good time and great experience. We will be back.

Great bubble bar! Bartender was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (and even patient with people who couldn’t make up their minds haha). Ask for a sample or two. Find a comfy spot on the patio & enjoy!

Chalcedonia is seriously the best. She has the best customer service, she's super friendly, charming, and super professional. She's super sweet and I would definitely recommend this place any day. Definitely ask for chalcedonia if you ever come to the mermaid bar, she's amazing! I will be coming back again!

The cutest sophisticated yet casual spot to drop for a glass of bubbly - Prosecco, Champagne. The sitting is casual and the awnings keep the Texas heat off you. The server was quick and personable. I had a mimosa and was surprised it wasn’t small at all! P.S. great for pretty people

They have absolutely delicious food and a very fun vibe, but I’ve been there twice and had awful service both times. I’m afraid I’d try my luck again, though, and go back. 😜 Love the pizza, the hummus (divine) and Brussel sprouts.

Location and vibe are awesome, but the raw bar options are pretty lacking & overpriced. Same quality and variety of raw bar options as a mariscos place (e.g., oysters come without brine and dressed with salad-dressy seasoning), but at a way higher price point.

I will say I can't review the food since I did not have any but I will tell you why I would recommend this My buddy and I had just come from the Public Market and wanted a few drinks. I did have a few Paloma's or there version of one and it was phenomenal. They are true mixologists at this location. We had a few salads and they were tasty with the house made vinaigrette. The ambiance and the layout of this place makes the place. The outside seating and scenery are a reason to go check it out and have a drink or two and maybe try a noshable treat.

FYI this isn't always open. This place is attached to Paradis and is not its own restaurant. Super cute aesthetic.

Y'all. Oh em gee. Officially my favorite bar in Dallas. Friendly staff, eclectic seating and just an all around feel good ambiance. Be mindful that the space is 100% outdoors and very small but it's literally right behind Paradiso. So meet here for drinks prior to dinner at Paradiso. Boom! Date night idea in 3.5 seconds. Plenty of bubbly but they also have cool cocktail options. On a Wednesday night, we were greeted and seated immediately. Antonio helped us choose the perfect sparkling for a an outdoor summer night in Dallas They have a small seafood menu for lite bites as well. Perfect for people watching and small groups. Pricing and parking might cause some heartache but totally worth it.

Looking for an interesting start or finish to your outing, then The Mermaid Raw Bar is your place in Bishop Arts. Three drinks on tap that the bartender elevates on the spot. I tried both of the Tequila based drinks and enjoyed them both. The lavender and grapefruit oysters paired well with the drinks and patio.

Great little spot to stop for cocktails! The only complaint is they don't have any indoor seating so you'll have to sit outside.

Johnny is absolutely amazing. Johnny suggested amazing meals and drinks to accompany our meal. His Preston's service was amazing!!!! I will be back to request Johnny!!! he's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came here during golden hour for drinks. Got myself the Stranger Tides. This came with this cute mermaid chilling in my drink. I like tequila so I got this. I thought it was gonna be strong but it was just right. Great staff, clean and a vibe ‍

The ambiance is incredible here and the staff some of the best in Dallas. Very welcoming and you feel like you are someone special while here. This is a great date night or day starting point. We tried their signature cocktails and loved both. I highly recommend the one that tastes like a margarita. We also tried half the menu, literally. There are only a few items to choose from, but this is more of a starting point and the full restaurant is inside, so not a big deal. Unfortunately giving four stars solely based on food, otherwise this is five stars the whole way. The food was not good. I am a seafood fanatic and love trying exotic foods! I couldn't take more than a bite of the lobster or crab dishes. It was essentially cold flavorless seafood. My date was very let down as well because the menu makes it sound so good! Again, we have daring pallets, this just wasn't it. It had some hints of something bitter, but that was the highlight. BUT the service, atmosphere and drinks were so absolutely incredible we still would come back here again! Our server saw we barely touched it and just said "sorry" we couldn't eat it. In their defense maybe they were just very busy, or maybe that's just what the food tastes like? Not sure but would highly recommend this place for DRINKS ONLY.
