The best fish & chips and chicken & chips we’ve had in Paris! We were surprised to find this lovely restaurant (which opens until late) in a quaint passage in the 7th arrondisement. Their menu is very clear, and it’s easy to make reservations online. Price of food is reasonable. Service was great and the food came within 10 minutes of placing our orders. We were here for dinner on a Friday night – it was busy but not crowded. The fish tasted fresh, and it wasn’t too full of batter, neither was it too greasy. We tried the light waffle for dessert - it was flavourful despite being a little overcooked. Be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs to get to your table if you opt to eat indoors. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner if you’re staying in the 7th!

Great food, great service, great location! + Food There are options besides seafood here, which is great if you're looking for a restaurant to go to with someone who loves seafood, but you don't. +Staff Staff was fast and helpful, they also spoke great English making it a very tourist friendly spot. +Location The location is quite central with a lot of things to see around, there are a lot of outdoor seats for summer and many indoor seats as well. Our only issue was that we ordered red berry drinks, but they tasted more minty than anything. Overall the experience was great!

I don't know who are the people who are leaving nice reviews to the food as that was the worst experience we had for a while. Absolutely not worth the money. Tuna tartar is overspiced so you cannot feel the taste of the tuna at all, served on the soggy piece of pastry. The fishballs were dark brown, overcooked in the old frying oil and had a huge (more than 3 cm!!!!) bone in it. The kitchen explained there is a bone as they're made from the real fish, but excuse me, it's a huge life hazard! I was lucky that I've bite the bone and didn't swallow it. There was no apologies and they took the fishballs from the check only when I asked for the manager. Manager didn't come by the way, just sent the waiter with the new check. We also were very unlucky to try the ceviche which was tasteless and the lobster roll, where you will find a lot of apples, but just a little lobster. Honestly, I didn't think that you can ever ruin lobster roll, but after visiting Mersea and having it for 35 euros I can assure you - you can. Not worth the money and for sure not worth visiting.

The service is really slow altho very friendly staffs, under-staffed, pretty much 2 servers for the whole restaurant. They were literally running all the time even speaking but very hard to fetch, from getting a table, ordering and paying the bill. Management issues. Tried fish tenders and ceviche. Food is nicely presented but I am not blown away at all even tho the freshness.

A fine little spot in the heart of Paris. We had lunch here, sat outside in the sun. The Sancerre was excellent but the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Nothing bad but just nothing amazing either. We were a bit let down by the service - the waitress was friendly and spoke great English but they seemed to just forget about us completely a couple of times.

Loved spending a couple hours here in the afternoon after visiting some museums. Great outdoor space in a courtyard that provides outdoor seating with no wind, and a place to enjoy beautiful fall weather in Paris. We had a few drinks and apps and everything was very good. Service was fast and everyone was very friendly.

Yelp
A lovely stop for lunch. appetizer and entree for $22.95 As you can see from the photo we had gazpacho, and deviled eggs, but with tuna. For entrees we had fish and chips and the tuna tartare. The fish was light and fluffy (if fish can ever be fluffy ) it was served with a big bowl of lovely chips, and two tiny sides of salad. The tuna tartare was with beets and came with a side of root vegetable puree. It was a lot of purple/pink food, but very yummy. A good relaxing choice for lunch in a nice quite passageway. We ate inside because it was chilly, but they have nice outdoor tables.
