Great variety in a smaller space. Picked up golden beets, fresh baked pastry, micro greens and local seasonal beer. Has great local wine selection too. Worth the 30 min drive for this happy chef.

Good green chile. Better than previous chile from competitor. Little waste. Cooled with cold water rinse. Cleaner and easier to peel. Nice local produce also (seasonal).

We walked into unintentionally this business. We needed the pottery place nextdoor to the North.

I was quite disappointed that there was very little produce for sale.

Yelp
Never a disappointment at this hidden gem. FARMesilla truly highlights the Mesilla community.

Yelp
This is such a hidden gem! I was in Las Cruces after a running race and after reading awesome reviews I drove here for a me, myself and I kinda date. They have seating space inside and outside. The menu has a wide variety for appetizers and entrees. I had the Avocado Casa Ensalada and the Loaded Yukon Potatoes plus a beer (chelada). Best food and drinks I cannot wait to return next time Im back in town. Service was so attentive and I love that the ambiance is great for people by themselves or with a large group.

Yelp
Their food always looks good on paper, but is rarely well executed. I ordered the blue corn chilaquiles. There were maybe 4 completely soggy pieces of corn tortillas. The serving was ridiculously small. I don't even know if they were properly fried. I know the sauce will make them soggy but there was NO crunch at all. I'm assuming it was just sitting out bc the whole dish was lukewarm bordering on cold. The dish was inedible.

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me this long to review one of my favorite stores in Las Cruces!! Ok, so I've never eaten at the small restaurant that is a part of this business, my review is about the general store. Great local produce from fresh veggies, fresh fruits, local pecans and beans and even some local produced meats, cheese and eggs. Lots of local spices, salsas, jams and other goods. A few local spirit companies and beer. There are a few local sweets and one company that was (might still be) bringing over weekly baked goods including the most amazing sourdough chocolate chip cookies! The prices are a little higher than a standard grocery store, but that is to be expected when you support a small business selling local goods. I'm ok with that! The staff here is great and always helpful. Next time I'm in town I definitely want to stay for a quick bite to eat. I know they have lots of good looking small dishes. This is a great way to support local small businesses and farmers, please stop in if you're traveling through town or even if you're a local!

Yelp
FARMesilla was supposed to be a quick stop, but I couldn't help but just stop. Without the noise and commotion from the city, it feels like time itself had stopped too. Located in historic downtown Mesilla, FARMesilla carries a potpourri of goods, from small gifts to local wines to fresh produce. It's also a cafe that serves breakfast & lunch as well as beer & coffee. If this is your only stop in NM, then this store is a neat showcase of the state's unique offerings like Jo Mamma's fruity wines or Rolling Still's green chile vodka from Taos. I enjoyed a cup of smooth, nutty Pinon coffee that truly lived up to its name, handed to me with a friendly smile that made it smoother. FARMesilla wasn't on my itinerary, but it didn't need to be. An hour there was like no time had passed at all, except that I felt recharged enough to drive the next 4 hours, all on one cup of joe and a new appreciation for tranquility.

Yelp
Great little place with fresh local produce, chiles, meat, cheese, local handicrafts, wine, beer, kombucha, chocolate, etc. Good stop to stock up on snacks for the car on a road trip. Have a coffee or glass of wine and a bite to eat and chill on the very pleasant patio. Nice staff. I always stop here when I'm in the area.

Yelp
I love FarMesilla for their quality food and products that they sell. I was there yesterday at 11:30 am to have lunch with 3 other people on the terrace. The service was not good. A young man took our order, the food was brought by a female server but nobody checked on afterwards us or cleared our dirty dishes . I had to go to the counter to ask for my check. I would recommend a supervisor or a manager to check with customers to maintain quality. Thank you.

Yelp
We've visited Mesilla several times and somehow missed this spot. We're glad to have discovered it this time! We started out with a brunch of mini blue corn waffles, eggs, and coffee followed by a slice of pecan pie. The waffles were lovely, with a light crisp exterior. The blackberry wine syrup is on the strong side, so ask for it on the side if that's not your thing. Our sunnyside up eggs were perfectly cooked, the coffee good, and the pie warmed and delicious. With stomachs full, we checked out the wide variety of sauces, jams, nuts, fruits, vegetables, spices, wines, and more! We picked up a few items to take home and definitely will visit again when we're in town again.

Yelp
Cute little market where you can find local goods Came in for a quick refreshing drink

Yelp
Food was amazing. I never would've order a plate of potatoes but the great reviews convinced me. The potatoes were roasted and served with delicious sauces and arugula. Taste: 5 star...presentation: 5 star. I added the cheddar farm egg and it was perfect too. Coffee was great! Best meal out of three dining out experiences in the area in the last week. If I could do it over again, I would just have come here each time! Service could you use some polishing. My waiter didn't bring me utensils or a napkin and was slow to get my order. Waiter didn't know the special of the day either. A waitress helped me when my waiter disappeared. She was competent. I sat outside and like the outdoor seating. I could do without the 80s music but I found a seat off to the side so it wasn't too loud. For food quality, I highly recommend! Finally, I appreciated the off street private parking lot for easy parking and that the store and outside eating area sit back from the road.

Yelp
This restaurant and menu felt like a Panera Bread. They have breads and pastries and their menu had sandwiches, soups, and salads. We had been on the road for a few days and were craving something fresh, and the food hit the spot. The employees were all very young and seemed scattered and unorganized, but the food came out correct and it was good.

Yelp
Came here with my vegan sibling since they recommended this cute market/restaurant. We came here for lunch on a piping hot day. We sat outside under shading in front of the market. Our server was friendly and gave us cold waters which helped before we planned on ordering. The food was delicious, I'll admit the turkey torta is not my favorite since I didn't realize they use turkey similar to deli turkey meat which made it very salty. The bread itself was also thick, so it was quite dry. I ended up eating the insides instead of the entire sandwich. It's cute how they add a little bundle of grapes with every dish, they were sweet and refreshing. Everything else was awesome, the salad was great with the avocado creme dressing and the yukon potatoes were crispy. I would definitely order those again. The market itself is adorable with little goodies and fresh foods to pick up. If my trip was longer, I would've definitely gotten some groceries and fresh farmed eggs. I would come back here again the next time I'm in town!

Yelp
I enjoy coming for a light lunch. The produce is local and fresh. I like that if I need something to compliment a meal I'm fixing that I don't have to run to Cruces to get those products. Breakfast is served from 9 to noon. Lunch is from 11 am on. Happy hour is 3 to 6. It's nice to sit on the patio, weather permitting, and relax with a drink and a snack. I must say, food portions are on the smallish side the last time I was in, but the flavor was excellent. They have a good wine and beer selection. The atmosphere is homey and relaxed. When you sit down for a meal, the servers do a great job of checking on you to make sure you have everything you need.

Karen A.

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere and food. Just the best food in Las Cruces. Love it. Such an imaginative menu!

Yelp
My husband and I were very surprised we had never found this treasure before. Excellent variation of New Mexico local products. From produce to alcohol. Kitchen items and personal products.perfect for Christmas presents. They also have food and pastries, which we did not try do to having just had lunch. Great location and parking Very friendly and helpful staff. This is a must try business.
google avatar

Holly C.

Yelp
Excellent all the way around. Not only was the food unique, it was the type of food where every bite was different and better than the next. This is not a menu you'll find anywhere else and I wish I could have ordered one of everything. We also have very attentive, lovely service. We didn't want for a thing. And if a perfect lunch, overlooking the mountains isn't enough, you can spend way too much money at the market after lunch! Which we did. It was wonderful.

Yelp
I love FARMesilla. It's just a really cute place to have breakfast or an afternoon drink. You can grab a bottle of wine or some fresh produce on your way, even pick up gifts for friends and family. They have lots of local offerings which is what I love most. There is some indoor seating, not a lot but they do have a large patio to take advantage of. Everyone has always been so friendly on my visits here which keeps me coming back.

Yelp
This is a piece of heaven on earth. The food is out of this world! Healthy, delicious, divine, absolutely lovely feel good food!!! It was the perfect day to sit outside and enjoy the musician on the front porch. I ordered the Farmgirl Burrito Bowl (without the tortilla) and the Yukon Potatoes. The dressing in the bowl and the sauce on the potatoes left me euphoric. True elevation of Farm to Table Food. I'm am already planning a return trip. I wish you continued success!

Tracy C.

Yelp
My first visit here was great. The burrito bowl was recommended and it was my favorite. I've tried other things and I always come back to the burrito bowl. The crispy potatoes were delish! I don't eat meat very often so I look for restaurants that have vegan options. The choices are limited but the options were flavorful. I also love the fresh pressed juices.
google avatar

Pat N.

Yelp
Sweet potato salad is scrumptious! Service was very attentive and Emma was very helpful with her recommendations. Wish we had been able to sit outside, but the wind was awful. Next time! Can't wait to try more menu options.

Sydney N.

Yelp
Great selection of location wine, produce and products. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed it on the patio. The tortas were delicious! The girl who helped us was very friendly as well.

Yelp
Everything here always tastes so fresh, healthy, and filling. One of my favorite places to eat now in Las Cruces. There's a lunch menu with a lil grocery and gift section that you can shop around with locally made items.

RJ T.

Yelp
Came in excited to try some farm fresh food and buy some local items. Ordered 2 breakfast bowls to eat inside and it took a very long time we were one of the first to order and then only one bowl came. We didn't question it thinking the waitress would bring the other bowl but it never came. So I asked and she said she didn't know and hadn't put it in. No sorry and no eye contact. A guy maybe supervisor was there also but even he didn't say anything. We didn't want to wait as we had already waited so long just for one bowl. Needless to say my husband got to just watch me eat. The food was very good but customer service def needs some work. I did like the store front and items available. Just wish we had a better experience with the staff.

Sofia D.

Yelp
Nice new place. Farm to table. Small restaurant, very cute shop for veggies, rice, beans, and great selection of New Mexico wine. My potatoes with Arugula were divine! Hearty serving. Inviting atmosphere.

Paula H.

Yelp
Outstanding food with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Service was slow, and 2 of our 3 orders were lost, but the manager on duty was sweet and very apologetic. They have a shop with groceries and great NM options. We sat inside due to the wind, but the patio looked inviting

Yelp
Stopped in on small business Saturday. Live music, exceptional service, warm patio seating and the food was truly 5 star. We had a couple ice cold lagers, the Ham and Gouda torta, Mac n Cheese, and Crispy Potatoes. Sandwich was great, the other two dishes absolutely fabulous. We are still talking about the sauce drizzled across the potatoes on a bed of arugula.

Yelp
So you want to try all of the Mesilla Valley local products and grab a quick bite or drink....this is the place to do it!! Everything from the local brewskies to Los Poblanos wonderful products, even the up and coming local Kind Bread Products. They even have their own baked goods and drinks.

Jak J.

Yelp
Very nice cafe/store. Wonderful selection of local items! I must say, however, beware of cashing out, I was overcharged on 2 items. I should have checked the receipt before I returned home, I won't make that mistake again!!

Masako O.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place and plan on making a visit every time I come to Las Cruces. Came here for food, ordered the mini waffles, polenta, and bacon. Omg all very delicious! Then I picked up some locally made chocolate, cornbread muffins, and salsa dip. Can't wait to gift these to people back home. Also have to mention the very friendly folks working there who were very friendly. There's also a giant outdoor patio that would be great to enjoy on a warmer day.
google avatar

Joyce T.

Yelp
What a great store. Lots of local items to choose from. We were so excited to come today to have lunch for the first time, but were told the Chef didn't come in today. Super disappointed. First time I have heard of a chef not coming in so we could have had polenta, bread, or potatoes and some prepackaged salads. Hopefully next time, you will have a chef on duty.
google avatar

Matilda L.

Yelp
The chef is so sweet and prepares incredible food!!! I will definitely be going back!! Such a cute place!! You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Excellent service! Great place to get local gifts. Easier & better than going to the Farmer's Market. Love this place! Ideal patio dining.
google avatar

Yelp
Delightful shop and cafe featuring locally sourced foods and products. The polenta was like a party of flavors. And the shop had so much fresh produce at reasonable prices, it was hard not to buy too much. Some of Chef Becky's recipes will be featured in New Mexico Magazines' 50th anniversary edition, a very well deserved honor.

Harold O.

Yelp
We got our green chile today and it is the cleanest roasted chile I have ever seen.

Yelp
List of farmesilla Must-do's: 1. Buy the local produce - especially the amazing tomatoes. 2. Try (and buy) the carrot-pepper hot sauce made in-house. I admit that I was skeptical - carrots and peppers??? but it is so good - with sweet and spicy flavors. 3. Pick up some stocking stuffers from the back room with the Los Poblanos products. I got the Man Bar for my son. 4. Sip the Pinon Coffee, which is the real deal, not the flavored stuff. 5. Order the chicken/hatch pot pie or the frijoles barrachos or the crispy potatoes or just about anything on the menu. Yes, it is over -priced for Las Cruces - it is also much better than other places. Usually the term "farm to table" is a lot of hype - but not here. 6. Finally, get some desserts to go - like the dark chocolate beet cake (yep, it is good - and I am NOT a vegan). I can't wait to try their local eggs and frozen beef. Did I mention that they have live music? The staff members treated us like family. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My first time here. It's hidden behind La Casa Bonita across from Acton Academy. I had heard about it but had never come myself until today. This vibe is super chill and rustic while having a modern atmosphere. Very clean and there's a clear indication of pride of ownership. We got the salsa/guac and chips which were more than enough for two. I saw others enjoying glasses of wine outside but after being attacked by mosquitos (how do they find me!) we went back inside. They actually sell bug repellent without Deet! I should have purchased it but I didn't realize the mosquitos had a GPS on me. They have local meats and eggs with fresh local produce. In the back they have beautifully packaged lotions, scrubs, and soaps. Would I go back? Yes. There's nothing else like this in Cruces or Mesilla. I posted the first few photos and noticed the website isn't up to date so I didn't link it here. One area that I would recommend progress on would be to have stand alone bread and hot sauce on the menu.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place today. Everything was excellent but top reviews for the BACON. it's a SIDE DISH!!! Absolutely a must order. And if you happen to see the hibiscus strawberry sangria order that too. We sat outside and saw the mountains. Great find!
google avatar

Yelp
What a delightful find! I wish I had snapped a picture. Very cute and well-decorated. They have several artisan food items to-go, but they'll warm it up for you if you'd like to enjoy it on the nice patio. The Serrano glazed bacon was a delicious snack! We also grabbed a sweet potato and goat cheese quesadilla for later. They have some produce, rice, and beans in the market, as well as local meats, pecans, and fresh chile. We grabbed a frozen fresh chile to take with us! They also have the cleanest, best-smelling bathrooms (their local lavender soaps and lotions are for sale as well). Both employees helping us were absolutely lovely. I'll definitely be back on our next time through Las Cruces for a local kombucha and snacks!

Laura B.

Yelp
We had such a great experience at this place! Food was awesome, fresh, simple and chic. Service was great, attentive and very friendly. Outdoor patio was perfectly calm and inviting. Everything local made it even better. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something different. A small town vibe but with big city elements gives Farmesilla a perfect balance.

Rebecca G.

Yelp
What an absolute gem. Fresh, local vegetables and wine/beer on tap. Very personable owner, clean and delicious light fare. Beautiful outdoor seating.

Jordan C.

Yelp
Stopped in for a light lunch while we were out and about. Patio was perfect. We had one of our dogs with us and the server brought out water for her. Service was great, very helpful. The waffles were incredible the cherry wine syrup is to die for. I added the bacon which I believe was candied, no regrets. We also had the nachos and they were flavorful. Definitely will be eating here again. Also can get a little shopping in when you're finished eating, for such a small location they have a great selection of produce and even meats and dry goods.

Kelly G.

Yelp
This place has easily become one of my favorite places to eat! They always have awesome new things to eat pretty much every other day I'm definitely the type of person that wants to try something new all the time so this place is perfect for that. They're also very clean and everyone's always friendly here.

Aug M.

Yelp
Very friendly and helpful staff! We weren't going to eat but one staff offered suggestions, felt like you were being invited to eat at someone's home. And the food was delicious had the quiche, a scone , bagel, and a cherry pastry. The scone was amazing! No pics too busy eating. Great place to stop!

Diana S.

Yelp
Love this store...have so many different things to choose from. Goods things to eat, good things to drink, Chile (I especially love the red Chile).
