The 19 Best Restaurants In Chelsea

"Mestizo is a margarita-filled oasis on the King’s Road that’s all about having a good time. Taco trays stretch over group tables and chilli-infused drinks come with a spice warning, and on a Friday night you might have to repeat your order a couple of times to be heard. Inside the Mexican restaurant, it’s all polo shirts and Made In Chelsea sorts, but once the bowls of barbacoa and warm tortilla pouches arrive at your table, that’s all you’ll be focusing on. The game plan is to come in a group, sit in one of the round booths, and order a couple of taco trays to share. " - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Best Mexican restaurant we've been to in Lincoln, hands down. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was good. The taco tray was tasty and came in a decent portion. The margaritas were strong and flavourful. We'll definitely be back.

Google
Que rico! What a fun Mexican gem in the middle of London. The food is hot, spicy and gets to your table fast. It’s dinner-styled and dinner-quality, so good but not amazing. However, if you’ve had a long day and need some affordable Mexican food (20 quid per person for a sharing plate that is ample) this is a great go-to. All of the servers seemed to be native Spanish speakers and had a lot of fun amongst each other. They do songs and hats and bells for peoples birthdays and the drinks—including the non-alcoholic ones—are all excellent, if a little sweet. The restaurant is big and there is even a private floor downstairs— the whole of it feels a tad bit corny but in a way that creates great vibes by just leaning into it

Absolutely amazing experience! Adriana and Luis provided exceptional service! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming!! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a great night out. Highly recommend! Make sure to try the watermelon margarita 🍹

Google
1st visit today - really different and exciting Mexican food. Traditional dishes we had never come across before. Helpful staff - very happy to explain items on the menu. Great cocktails - I love a classic Margarita and theirs was excellent. Really recommend this restaurant - advise booking as it was very busy.

Though our food and margaritas were delicious, unfortunately, our experience of Mestizo was let down by the service. Upon arrival, we were not greeted warmly and were questioned over our booking despite having confirmed the booking before arriving at the restaurant in plenty of time. We were "told" that we could only have an hour 20 mins and were rudely pointed to a table and not given any menus. After waiting to be acknowledged for over 5 minutes, we had to flag someone down to hand us menus. As mentioned, we did enjoy our food and cocktails. The gentlemen that served us were pleasant, but the whole experience was letdown by one individual. I had been looking forward to coming to this restaurant for a while, but I would definitely never return.

Google
Amazing food, service and atmosphere! The staff are absolutely lovely and made sure we were topped up and looked after. Adriana gave us amazing recommendations. Would highly recommend the Pastel 3 leches for dessert. Most definitely will be coming back here. Thank you so much!!

Google
Lovely dinner here. The portions were huge - very glad I could share a delicious dessert with my friend. Lots of tasty cocktails- only wish I could have stayed longer to try more. Staff are super super friendly and made my visit very enjoyable.

Google
We had a fantastic meal last night, the Chrozio nachos were generous and delicious, the enchiladas were packed with chicken and fabulous sauce. But there were negatives, our two seat table was in an unfortunate spot where staff and guest were constantly rushing / brushing past which took away slightly from the enjoyment of our meal and also the service to my surprise was very disjointed and at times even poor. Despite having an abundance of staff on hand they seems to constantly be rushing about in a disorganised fashion, twice my wife’s margarita glass was just taken from in front of her, she wasn’t asked if she wanted another and the second time she hadn’t even finished her drink. We will return and give this place another chance but only as the food was so good, just a shame about the service which I was still charged 12% for!

Yelp
Good tacos with a nice atmosphere and decent margaritas. Came here with friends from work for a fast bite near our Brock-street office. We shared a big plate of taco ingredients and tortillas. It was all very good and the good news is that with the variety there was something everyone liked. The space was chill and upscale while also feeling trendy. The drinks were also nice, mostly margaritas. In the end, nothing really stood out enough for me to remember or come back for if I wasn't in the area, but it would probably make my easy list of places that won't disappoint near the office.

Yelp
I came here for the tantalizing malcajete, marinated meat platter with red sauce in a bubbly hot cauldron. Unfortunately, Mestizo charges per person and the minimum and maximum is two for this item So I couldn't order for one without paying forty dollars , and I'd be damned to pay that much. Having this rule is ridiculous. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant forcing you to order something that can easily be portioned to one. I ordered a marinated chicken with rice and beans. The beans were out of this world. Such a unique flavor I definitely was not accustomed to in the states. The rice was unfortunately bland. The chicken was marinated in this red sauce and was tasty for the most part. However , when I made my way to the center it became dry and had a weird taste. If you're gonna order this dish, proceed with caution. The dessert really outshined and redeemed my visit somewhat. I ordered the tres leches cake. This dessert is basically like a Mexican version of sticky toffee pudding. There are many overlapping factors. One key difference is tres leches uses a milk and cinnamon base , so it kind of tastes like a horchata cake.

Yelp
Interesting place, I was by myself, needed to work while having lunch, so requested a larger table. Restaurant was empty it was 2pm so most likely not many people coming. They say no, you have to sit in a small table.

Yelp
Ended up here after a long work week, and had such a great time. The energy was buzzing- lots of birthdays, in which they loudly celebrate. We got nachos and the taco sharing board, as well as margaritas. All were tasty! Service was a little slow but feel like they pretty standard in Europe, compared to the states :) Overall would recommend

Usha M.

Yelp
Food was good and the ambiance is very upbeat with loud music, good and friendly service. If you are from the US specifically from Texas's lower your expectations way down. Food is flavorful but not what we are used to here. And they give you white rice, not Spanish rice!
google avatar

Yelp
The achiote in the Mayan sauce is AMAZING and would taste good with almost anything. The sopa de tortilla (tortilla soup) was flavorful as well, but it was served like warm. The service is decent and the restaurant has plenty if room for seating. The staff is friendly and mostly comprised of Spanish-speakers. They are more than happy to translate or explain anything menu-related to you.

Natalie P.

Yelp
Terrible service. Sat for 15 minutes without a menu or any contact with a server. Food was room temperature, and was mid. We also only got half of our food and by the time we got the rest we were done eating. The dessert was also mid. And after we paid they made us leave right away to set up a new table (which was the quickest thing they did all night).

Yelp
After months of looking for good Mexican food in London, I'm glad I found Mestizo. The food is authentic and delicious, additionally the prices are fair for the quality of food they offer. The staff is very friendly and there is someone making sure you're being looked after. Will be going back for sure.

The best Mexican food in town is Mestizio ! The staff were friendly and very helpful, great choice of tasty options !

Yelp
Even though the website doesn't advertise it I walked in to see if I could order some food for take away and the staff were more than happy to help me. The staff recommended the carnitas tacos which came with 4 and were amazing. They came with fresh cilantro and onion and salsa verde and fresh tortillas

Yelp
As of food concern, I experienced authentic flavours in the main and the desert. The value for money works great too, roughly £20 per person. The 'must order' is a main course that has rice, Maxican curry and chocolate - the flavour of the slightly spicy curry and the slightly sweet chocolate mix into something new, something I've never tasted before. As of desert, go for the one on the menu marked as 'delicious', it is rich but not too sweet. You won't regret it!

Yelp
Great food. Great atmosphere. We found the menu a little confusing but the staff were more than willing to help. Well worth a visit if you like traditional Mexican food.

Yelp
We made reservations for 4 and got there a bit early so sat at the bar and ordered their classic margarita which was delightful. The place was freaking packed but everything seemed to be moving quit efficiently. Service was great. They checked on us multiple times before we were ready, but we also took a long ass time to decide what to get. I especially liked our waiter because he was SO BUSY but he still managed to make jokes with us, so that's cool. Jokes are always cool. When you initially look at the menu it doesn't seem as though you can change much, but when talking with the waiter it became clear that they would pretty much cater to whatever you want. For example the taco tray seemed like you could only order meat, but when I asked about veggie options he started listing off a ton of stuff. The taco tray is seriously the best. You get SO MANY OPTIONS and can build so many glorious tacos from all the beautiful ingredients! Win. I really wanted to try their mole, and can't say I was impressed, but you know what, that's ok and life will go on. Their quesadillas marquesa was creamy and full of warm cheese and potatoes (I think?). It was a really nice dish. I also had their jalapeño margarita, and tried the cadillac margarita which was super strong and wonderful. Both were different and really fresh and yummy. I would certainly come back here again and bring friends. It was strange eating at a Mexican restaurant when I'm so used to only going to places in Texas. I really enjoyed it though, and would definitely recommend their margaritaaaaaas! aye aye aye!

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food and worth the visit. My favorite was the enchiladas de mole. I missed real Mexican food.

Yelp
I loved this place! As a Mexican it is hard to find authentic good Mexican restaurants in London. This place tops my list after tonight's dinner. We all had vegetarian or vegan options. My favourite was the Chile Relleno with Oaxaca Quezo. The vegan flautas were also super yummy. The salas and guacamole were just right. Every dish was super yummy and rich in flavour. The atmosphere was also vibrant and friendly. I am definitely coming back here again.

Yelp
This was was the worse customer service I've encountered. First time in Europe and I cried all the way to my hotel room in my Uber because they made me feel so ingsignificant. Worst worse worse experience ever! Do not come here if you want an authentic Mexican restaurant impression. I love Europe but NOT this establishment!!!!

Yelp
It's been on my list to dine for a long time, and we finally managed it. We visited there for a light dinner and ordered Cochinita Pibil Tacos and Mole Poblano. Both tasted very good but lacked the Wow factor. The service was friendly and polite, and Jorge was fun to talk to and made our visit memorable. However we asked other server for a dessert menu and she talked to the female manager (?) but they didn't come back to us. Their bar looked impressive.

Yelp

Yelp
The Spanish etiquette is primo. Visiting from SoCal, especially from a Hispanic family, Mestizo helped with some savory dishes that were reminiscent of home. The staff were courteous, funny, and helpful. The price is def $$$ but it is well worth the stop, especially in Camden Town.

Bethany F.

Yelp
Great vibes in the downstairs for reggaeton music. It gets packed and a bit expensive cover fee (30 pounds after 8pm), other than that was a good time!
google avatar

Ines C.

Yelp
I really enjoyed it! I especially liked the mole enchiladas - a must get. The tacos al pastor were also very tasty and came with grilled pineapple which may actually work better than raw pineapple. Not for the taco eaters - load them up bc there are only 3-4 toritillas in the little bag and you'll have leftover filling if not! On Yelp reviews' recommendation, I also ordered the Tres Leches cake, It was very tasty but I have to say after the enchiladas and guacamole I should have probably shared with at least 1 person. I couldn't finish it and it was pretty sweet so if you're not into sweet desserts beware!

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this place!!! The best nachos, tacos and Margaritas in London. Hands down the BEST!!! The service was amazing we will be making this a regular date night!

Brian G.

Yelp
Good Mexican seems hard to come by in London. Two of us showed up and were asked if we had a reservation, and were told that it would be over a 2 hour wait for a table, but that we could sit at the bar without waiting. We sat at the bar, even though the bar stools were half the height that they needed to be to have any semblance of comfort - evidently it was our only reasonable choice. As we hung out, had drinks and dinner over a 2 hour period, I took note that there were at least 5 available tables the entire time we occupied the venue sitting in discomfort. The food and drinks were good by comparison to other London attempts at Mexican fare, but paled in comparison to what would be par for the course in the US. This joint would qualify as average at best, although I might be apt to grade on more of a curve had we actually been allowed to sit more comfortably at one of the 4 or 5 vacant tables that tormented us as we sat like a child in a too short stool with the table at the height of our necks. Anxious to get back to the US where we have diverse cuisine options that put the UK to shame.

Yelp
This is in the top five of the best restaurants I've been to while living in London for just under a year. Not only is the food fantastic but the service is great and unlike sooooooo many other restaurants in London, this one is comfortable and not noisy. You can actually have a conversation - what a novel concept! Back to the food, though. The menu is huge but we ended up getting the guacamole to start, the taco tray which was really fun to eat, the beef molcajete, and two entrees. For four people this was more than enough food. The jalapeno margaritas are tasty as well. I am definitely going back. Really - fantastic place.
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic and excellent Mexican food in London. It's a simple place with friendly service. We started with the flautas and the guacamole. The guacamole was fresh and yum and the flautas were perfectly crunchy and tasteful. For the mains we got the chicken mole enchiladas, the vegetarian and chicken bowls. The chicken mole is made with 25 ingredients one of them being chocolate. I was a bit hesitant but was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. The bowls were huge and can easily feed 3 people. It's a great place for vegetarians as they have a separate menu for it. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We ate the food because we were hungry and it wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't good, nor in any way exciting. Went to this place because my girl friend had been 2 years ago and raved about it. Unfortunately she was even more disappointed then I was. The menu choices were kind of limited - we were hoping for something really interesting, not seen in other Mexican restaurants but it wasn't the case. At the end we ordered the taco platter, which was quite disappointing. I would choose Wahaca, Benito's Hat, or Chipotle any day instead of this place. Drinks were OK but very over-priced in my opinion. :( sigh

Thomas A.

Yelp
YES. yes! yes! I feel like one of those shampoo commercials, but this place made me love eating Mexican again. Jaladas, tacos, tres leches! TAMALES! I could just continue to write menu items with varying degree of excitement, but the fact is, it's all exciting. My BFF Bertha always told me, never trust a Mexican place that doesn't have Mexicans working at it, and alas, the sign on the wall welcomed my eyes with "We don't speak English but we promise to not make fun of your Spanish". I need to go back for the weekend brunch deal... honestly I want to live here... they even have jarritos! Make a booking online, it seemed to fill up quicker than we had anticipated.. Also, they have a gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free menu... so if you're with a picky eater, you can't go wrong.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place - there were hits and misses but on the whole I think they'd entice me back. Probably because I'm still dreaming about their 50-ingredient house mole sauce which I had served over chicken enchiladas for main! It even contains chocolate which explains the gloriously spicy but sweet flavour that I imagine some might not be a fan of but I loved. It was just a shame I couldn't finish the generously sized portion as it was actually quite heavy. In fact I think most of the main courses were, as my friends had a similar problem - especially the two that decided to share the 'molcajete mestizo' stone bowl speciality and sadly ended up wasting half of it by the looks of things! The quality of the mains was good but I was disappointed by the starters - so that might help you with where to focus your efforts! I'm geekily fussy about topping distribution when it comes to nachos and it's fair to say they were off here (esp the cheese and sour cream). The tortilla chips didn't taste very fresh to me either, and the guac I found disappointingly bland. The servers seemed rushed off their feet with the place heaving even on a Monday eve, though our waitress was nicely efficient to start with, particularly given we were a party of 10. It's worth mentioning it's a very veggie friendly place with even a separate vegan menu upon request. The staff largely disappeared for the second half of our meal though and getting someone over to pay the bill took so long we almost walked out. I'd go back with a smaller party as I don't often find Mexican food that I like in London, and it's all quite reasonably priced. I'd know not to waste time and stomach-space on the starters either (except for maybe the stuffed jalapenos), and I'd like to try one of their tequila flights next time too!
google avatar

Natalie W.

Yelp
Really good lunch here - ruthlessly yet not unpleasantly efficient service delivered two excellent enchiladas and the bill well within our allotted hour. We appreciated them pushing to take our order before a big group's although I noticed their lunches had also all arrived in good time. My pork enchilada was great and I would definitely come back - very convenient for visiting Mancunians as it's near Euston!
google avatar

Arun D.

Yelp
Gorgeous Mexican food served by some of the kindest and friendliest staff in the city! We were offered a cramped corner seat which we weren't too pumped about so they let us (party of 2) take a bigger table for 4 and offered to move us as soon as different table cleared out. Tonnes of vegetarian options on the menu all through out. We started with delicious ginger margaritas, recommended by the waitress. We also got to try tamales for the first time (they usually don't come in a vegetarian variety) and their guacamole as a starter was heavenly. For the main we went with the taco tray which was was much fun! You get to assemble your own tacos with a bunch of different ingredient choices. Be sure to ask them for their spicy green sauce on the side - that will really add a kick to the food. The food was phenomenal. the service was perfect and all for a great price. Cannot wait to be back!

Yelp
My friends and my husband and I ate here last night. We got a wide selection of food from the extensive menu. My veg friend and I got the tamales with queso con rajas to start. The tamales are decently sized and served steaming, as all good tamales should be. They tasted very good, with a decent enough serving of queso and rajas. But not spectacular. I've had better in Mexico. We also got guac and chips for the table and that was fine enough. My husband got three horchatas so no complaints there! My friend and I split tacos: one order of nopales and one of flor de calabaza. The orders are served in smallish bowls, but filled almost to the brim, so a great serving size for the price. Also, there is a separate dish offered for an array of spicy sauces. Lovely to look at. But out food was just... fine. The nopales had a bit more of a zing but the flor de calabaza was very bland. The corn tortillas at least were lovely (served hot, thin and didn't fall apart completely when wrapping food). My husband said his pollo con mole was decent but again, nothing to rave over. I admit my bar for Mexican food is very high after living on the Texas-Mexican border. For fantastic Mexican food go to Taqueria in Notting Hill instead. Or even Breddo's Tacos has fabulous fusion creations (although at a much higher price point).

Sami B.

Yelp
I'm only giving this place a 1 because 0 is not an option. The food here SUCKS. It's not even mediocre, we couldn't finish it and we love Mexican food. Truly, not good food. Not "authentic Mexican". No taste. Not good. Really don't understand where the good reviews come from.
google avatar

Jhenn S.

Yelp
I had a lack luster dinner here a couple years ago. I'm SO GLAD I went back! I went with a couple other Americans who were also dying for some Mexican. We went for happy hour. Happy hour prices aren't that happy, but wow- there are many drinks to choose from and they're very tasty! They even have their own vegan menu! (They have a few diet-specific menus, you can check them out on the website). I had the vegan taco tray for 2. When it first came, I was a bit disappointed. I was afraid it wasn't going to be enough with all those little bowls. But all those little bowls are filled with fun and when added to warm corn torillas, you have yourself quite a filling dinner, mister! We ended up speaking to the owner, who is a vegetarian herself. The Sunday Brunch sounds great and if you let them know ahead of time, they will have extra vegan items out for you! She said besides the meat and eggs, everything else is vegan. They have a very large array of tequilas (I believe the most in London) and the sampling platter looks great. One day. There is a hole in my heart for Mexican food and I'm happy Mestizo is there for me. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Oh wow! I am usually sparing with my allocation of 5 stars, but if I had a sixth star to give, it would be all Mesizo's. In an unassuming location just a few moments away from Euston, I knew I was in for a treat the moment I stepped in the door. Not only were the hostesses and servers SO FRIENDLY, but they were also Mexican! When asking one of our servers about the spice level of a dish before ordering (is it flaming hot? will it make us cry?) she laughed and said, "well, I'm Mexican so I think it's all relative..." SCORE! After a particularly challenging work week, I decided to go all out and order a Cadillac Margarita with Patron Silver and I have to say that it was the most amazing margarita I've had outside of Mexico or Southern California. Mestizo boasts 150 different varieties of tequila and I'll definitely be back to sample some more. The starter of guacamole was a delight - perfectly seasoned with plenty of chips. My carnitas tacos melted in my mouth and the chicken mole that my partner had was equally delicious. For dessert, I decided to go with buñuelos, a crispy fried dough with cinnamon and caramel sauce...again something I haven't seen outside of Mexico and my home state. As if they were trying to outdo themselves, my dessert arrived and was a literal symphony of one fantastic flavor after the next. The whole thing was perfect. I will come back to Mestizo again and again and couldn't recommend it highly enough! I think my stomach is still smiling!

Yelp
Quality Mexican food in London is hard to find, until you get to Mestizo. The food is delicious and the drinks are strong and tasty. I've been here twice and have not been disappointed. The first visit was quite a few months ago and I had the enchiladas mole and although there was quite a lot of sauce, it was cooked without fault. More recently, I went without knowing that there was a "Chile Festival" on meaning the main menu wasn't being served. I'm not a chile fan (seeing as I can't handle spicy foods) so passed on much of it, but was still able to have a good meal. We started with a selection of empanadas - there were 3 types - cheese, mushroom and one with meat. They were all very nice. Then we had a taco selection tray for two - so much food! We had a selection of meats - pork, beef and chicken, prepared differently. My favorite was one of the pork fillings, very tasty and tender. I could only eat about 3 until I was completely stuffed. Then there are the drinks. Delicious margaritas. Done.

Yelp
Mestizo serves a delicious range of Mexican food from Tacos with guacamole, beans, pico de gallo, salsa roja/ verde and sour cream, to Enchiladas (to only name a few). The food was good, very filling and we had a huge platter of different meats and sauces with piles of hot tacos. However, I can't quite say the atmosphere was all that great in comparison. Because there was a group of us, a table was booked in their downstairs dining room, which felt quite detached from the main hub of the restaurant. For a Mexican restaurant you sort of expect a more vibrant, lively experience. The only thing 'vibrant' and 'lively' here were the fire engine red walls which contrasted greatly with the bright white seating. There is a downstairs bar/ lounge area, which, unlike the upstairs, is a little bit better designed, where the use of the red doesn't seem as offensive. I think a downside is its location being on Hampstead Road as this means that it's away from the more bustling parts of town, and a place like this should be in an area where there is more of an abundance of life!
google avatar

Lusea W.

Yelp
Set in a strange area of town, which feels a bit like no mans land between Camden and Centre Point you probally wouldn't take a trek across town to get here. Saying that, I came here for a quiet bite with a friend and had an enjoyable time. However for a Mexican I was expecting a slightly jollier time. I found the Deco a bit mainstream and it didn't feel traditionally mexican at all. The food was very good, I wasn't that hungry so i just had Guacamole and Tortilla chips to starter and washed it down with a bottle of wine. This place doesn't ooze character, its more for the slightly conservative suited and booted Londoners who need a starting point before hitting a club. I had a little boogie in the club downstairs, but was ready to leave after an hour.

Yelp
Great place. Authentic Mexican food. Be sure to make a reservation as it is packed. This place is perfect for a nice date or a nice evening with friends.

Yelp
Awesome food. Awesome customer service. Great ambiance. This coming from a family born and raised in the west coast and has tried some of the best Mexican food.

Yelp
This is also El Burrito by Mestizo on Deliveroo. I got the Rajas Con Crema veggie burrito which has the very hard to find (in this part of the world) poblano pepper in it. Very yummy and I wanted more of it! Could have done with more heat overall but hey ho, heat tolerance is so subjective! My main critique is the packaging. They came only partially wrapped in foil (!?), in a cheap, Styrofoam, environmentally unfriendly container. Burritos should be completely (and tightly) rolled in aluminium foil which makes them super portable, even for a Deliveroo person! C'mon people - get with it!

Yelp
Unbelievably rude and overpriced. Waitstaff were kind but manager and possibly the owner were patronising and condescending. In what was purportedly an effort not to waste food, they brought the 3 of us a portion for 1 person, charging £54 -- or 1,328.18 Mexican pesos -- and claimed that food is never wasted in Mexico. Well, this geographer and Latin Americanist is very supportive of genuinely green efforts and cultural authenticity but not some kind of scam bs with a lot of unnecessary tension and shouting. Also, the food was cold when served. And the staff involved made no effort to check with us at the end or apologise, despite our efforts to be diplomatic but honest, forthright and not cowed by a rugby-sized manager attempting to talk over us. If you want to start invoking Mexico as your standard, as they did (not us), then this -- all of this -- would be a damn shame, un escándolo y una vergüenza total si estuviéramos en México. Just no. No. Basta. And bye.

Yelp
A Mexican restaurant run by Mexicans. This is really rare in London. Try the molcajete - chicken or beef served in a stone bowl, with salsa roja, cheese, chorizo, spring onions, coriander, avocado and tortillas. Really excellent. Service can be slow if it's busy, but generally this is one of the best mexican places in London. If you are used to good mexican food (ie you have lived in Mexico or the USA), then you should definitely check this place out.

Yelp
Big shout out to yelp! for helping save me from overpriced hotel food while I was traveling to London today from Chicago. I found this gem of a restaurant two blocks away from my hotel and never would have without Yelp! From the first look as I approached I was a believer in Veronica's review. This is an authentic Mexican Restaurant in the UK. It got even better from there as I was immediately greeted by Carla my waitress who I entrusted my entire meal recommendation to from drink to dessert. I am very thankful for her recommendations as I'm sure you will be as we'll. cheers!

Yelp
Food and drinks were good. However, I didn't ask for a receipt and when I checked my account I noticed the male server over charged me. Not happy with the integrity of the employees.

Yelp
Chimichanga was dry and flavorless and didn't come with any of the condiments promised in the description (sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo, etc.) Totopos were stale and also flavorless. The only good thing was the salsa, which they serve hot (Is this a thing?) but would have been better cold.

Yelp
OK Mexican food. To get a sampling of different types of foods we got an assortment of the small plates (tapas). They were good. However, we had to ask for extra jalapeños to add some spice as they were a bit bland. Definitely could use more seasoning. Another star removed because of some poor customer service. When we arrive we were told that they had a tequila on special. I asked the price (£8.50). When the check arrive I was billed £10.50. I informed them of the discrepancy but was told they miss quoted the price. Ugh.

Yelp
The best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in London. No frills, no gimmicks, no Tex-Mex. Straight up excellent comida, efficient and typically Mexican service - the head waitress is fantastic... super charming and takes no ####! Lunch deals are great, £6 or £7 for quesadillas or burritos. Seasonal menus and specials. A very dangerous tequila selection - you've been warned. Aye carumba...que rico...

Yelp
This place is my everything. We have a few 6/10 burrito joints in the vicinity of Euston Station, but Mestizo wraps them up in delicious tortilla-y goodness and wipes the floor with them, at a decent price too. I get the mickey taken out of me at work because I usually take someone from the office there about once a week. Their chicken mole rocks, you can get a decent glass of horchata, their nachos are a hungover treat, the staff are friendly, the service is quick, their lunch menu is the tits...I could harp on, but if you like Mexican just go there, and you won't be hungry for a long time after. Everyone I've taken there now bypasses the burrito stand outside the office and walks the extra 5-10 minutes in the name of deliciousness. Get on it.

Yelp
We have been traveling through Europe for the last 4 weeks. Spain France and England and this is the best Mexican restaurant by far. Carlos, our server did an amazing job explaining all the menu options including all the ingredients of the food and drinks. I can't tell you enough how good the food service and drinks are. I strongly recommended.
