How to Get FIFA World Cup 2026 Tickets: A Complete Travel Guide | Condé Nast Traveler

"Hosting the final on July 19, MetLife Stadium is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and I like that it’s just a short train ride from Manhattan, which makes staying in Midtown or near Penn Station a convenient option to combine sightseeing with direct transit to the venue." - Paris Wilson

MetLife Stadium is a massive and impressive venue. I went for a Zach Bryan concert, and being on the floor was an amazing experience—you really get to take in just how huge the stadium is when you’re surrounded by it. The way they set up the stadium for the concert was excellent, and the sound system and speakers were very good. There’s plenty to see around the stadium as well, with cool memorabilia and décor throughout. Security is very tight, but it’s well-organized, and there are many helpful employees around the stadium to point you in the right direction. Food and drink options are plentiful, and parking is widely available (we paid $40 to park). Overall, an incredible venue for a concert, game, or event—both the atmosphere and organization make it a top-notch experience.

What a fantastic evening!!! Traffic was typical N.Y.C. traffic on a Friday during rush hour, but hey... I'm going to a Football game at MetLife stadium. Just when I thought that was cool enough, I got even better. Platinum Parking 😉👍 I could hit the stadium 🏟 with a rock I was able to park that close. Upon entry of the stadium 🏟 all the staff that worked there were extremely polite and helpful. On to the seats and was one tunnel over from where we were supposed to be seated. So, back down the stairs and wanted to take a little short cut through what looked to be a restaurant. We opened the door to enter and a woman greeted us right there, noticed we weren't wearing wristbands. So we were unable to enter. This is where our evening took a turn and got even better. She asked us a few questions about our tickets and to our surprise, she advised us that were were entitled to Dine at the Resteraunt. All and anything we wanted to eat and drink... get this... on the house!! 🤯 It did not cost so much as a penny. The food, perfectly cooked rare London Broil sliced to perfection. Chicken grilled, Chicken fried, Pasta, Meatball, Sausage and Peppers 🌶... the list continues. Then deserts 🤯 Specialty Cookies 🍪 😋 Chocolate 🍫 Vanilla 😋 Canolis wrapped in chocolate shells, Many types of Ice Cream.... Good Lord!!! I'm in Heaven 😇 So then, on to our seats 💺 💺 and just when I thought I was in Heaven, I discovered that Heaven has a 2nd floor 🤯 Our seats were on the 50 yard line 15 rows up!! Schwing!!!! The seats were cushioned, the view was phenomenal. The food was fantastic. The whole evening was perfect. I would really enjoy having this experience again and again!!! I can't wait to go there again.

It was my first time at MetLife stadium. It’s quite overwhelming, but the staff were all really nice and good about getting you where you needed to go. We were coming from Brooklyn and took NJ transit with the two transfers. It’s nice and convenient how the station is just outside of it and all the staff were great at guiding people back on to the train and home. All in all, a good experience. Even got to eat a pretty decent cheese steak sandwich. I only had to go to the bathroom once and it was AFTER the concert and it wasn’t even a poop. That’s a huge plus! After eating that cheesesteak sandwich. Must’ve been the soothing sounds of Michael Romance.

Google
I was torn on whether to give this a 3 to 5 star rating. Ive been going to this venue since it's been called the Meadowlands. Last night, I went to see the Giants/Eagles game. Our seats were in section 202B &Omg i felt like we walked forever to get to our seats. Basically, it took us from the last 3 minutes from the 2nd quarter til the 1st 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter to finally get to our seats. Missed halftime show. Any time 1 of us asked a staff member for help. The answers were useless! By the time we got to our seats we were met by rude fans! I am an Eagles fan, my other friend Jets and other Giants. What can I say, we are a fun bunch. The ppl at the seats were rude & said ur seats are towards the middle. Go around the other side. Ugh!! My friend and I were in so much pain from walking we settled on seats that no one else was sitting in. Basically, I've been going to this stadium 🏟 for many, many years and I have to be 100% honest. Last night was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD THERE!!! By, the time the game ended and headed back to car all of us were arguing with each. On top of all that from all the walking, no organization there at all my friend and I couldn't more from the pain we felt!! The only thing I can agree on from other reviews i have read is... YES!! The bathrooms are CLEAN and the lines more fast. Unfortunately, when football fans live in New York we only have Metlife Stadium 🏟 to go to see football games. We have to grin & bear it. Suck it up and put on our big ppl pants to deal with it! For football as fans we will do anything for our teams!! Hopefully, when I go back in November for the Gaints/Greenbay game. I pray 🙏 to god 🙏 I will never have to experience what my friends and I went thru last night. Otherwise, every other experience I've had there has been really pleasant ☺️!!

Stadium is Massive!!! Endlessly long and anxious lines of Oasis fans moved Amazingly Quick and Efficiently when they opened the doors pre-show to my astonishment!! Concession staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient!! Oasis was Absolutely Amazing!! Truly Exceptional concert venue and overall experience!!!

Google
Watched a Real Madrid game here and it was hands down the best game I’ve ever experienced! MetLife Stadium is massive (it holds over 82,000 people), and still feels organized and well-run. It’s such a big and beautiful stadium with great energy and views from all around. Definitely recommend driving if you’re coming. There are plenty of parking spots, or you can park at American Dream mall nearby and walk over. Perfect spot for big games and events!

Google
We were at MetLife for the My Chemical Romance concert. It was a fantastic show!! I didn't think the prices on drinks were bad, since it's a football stadium. The selection was nice. The bathroom was clean. (The one near section 318) The staff were friendly. We got through security rather quickly and they had to check our bag, so we were pleased with that. Parking was $40. A fun trip. No complaints!

Google
What an incredible stadium and arena to visit! I watched Oasis here and cannot praise the facilities enough. Was easy to get to via bus from Port Authority and easy to get back to Manhattan afterwards - just $20! The stadium is huge but well supported with restrooms, refreshment kiosks and all facilities you could wish for. Brilliant experience

Yelp
Not the best stadium I've been to (especially when it comes to food items), but definently still a great time. Usually I go for the classic sports stadium food -- chicken tenders and fries, but this time I decided to switch it up. I tried their Stadium Gyro (chicken) and it was delicious. It was loaded with fresh toppings, sauce, and the chicken was very juicy and flavorful. I would get it again. For dessert, I paired the Welsh Farms soft serve ice cream with a Mrs. Fields cookie. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Happy last game of the season. Lunch Review #6. Overpriced Chicken Sandwich from The Fat Rooster. 2.5/5. Hear me out. This was pretty bad for $17 but its not the most offensive thing here. The issue is my voucher covers $14 so I had to pay an extra $3 to get the sandwich. Oh boo hoo I know. But that knocks it down a bit. AND its not better than the damn tater tot bowl ffs. WHY CAN NOTHING BEAT THAT TATER TOT BOWL??!? Dissapointed but not surprised. A rough way to end the season but it is what it is. Maybe when events start back up here I can find the destined 4-star meal. Doubt it though. Maybe it'll be the mythical 300 level burrito...

Yelp
Conveniently located 15 mins away from my sister's place, getting here was a breeze. I attended a game with my nephew who happens to be a Jets fan. I wore the gear my sister got me, but I refused to take my jacket off cos that would make me a traitor. LA por vida. We got dropped off right at the parking lot so our walk to the entrance was under 5 mins. Getting in was a breeze. Cons: Food choices are limited Same for drinks My biggest complaint is the fact that they have no heaters of any kind. I spent a good chunk of the last quarter in the bathroom cos it was freezing. The hot chocolate I downed didn't help one bit. Do better
google avatar

Eli M.

Yelp
I would have rated this higher but I was freezing my ass of this entire time, I mean I feel like I was gonna freeze but thanks for the hot chocolate atleast Not on the stadium but still maybe add a heater or something
google avatar

Tanisha W.

Yelp
Most of the staff was very nice considering you always hear ppl from NYC aren't friendly. The food was average ball park food, but I must say I was upset that there wasn't yellow mustard to go with my hot dogs . The mixed drinks was a miss. I am from NOLA so my expectations are very high when it comes to adult beverages. Over the stadium was very clean but the bathrooms were outdated.
google avatar

Nischinth S.

Yelp
This is the mecca for soccer in USA. I'm glad most of Argentina games get played here and I'm yet to miss one. My journey following Argentina started with the 1986 world cup which was dominated by Diego Armando Maradona, the world's best player!! Not I have been to a heys game here as well but the energy that a Argentina football team brings is in matched. I thought sports is a mans wold.... absolutely wrong, women get more crazier in Argentina games than men and the atmosphere is unbelievable. The energy they bring now wants me to go to Argentina to watch a football game there. Well it's called soccer in US, though the word soccer originates from UK.

Yelp
While on vacation in NYC my friend and I decided to grab some tickets to a game. Getting to the stadium is a pain so be warned. The stadium was fine, it kinda felt like it was on another planet which was pretty neat. Food was fine but the lines were super long and slow. Fans were great and even the cheap, upper deck seats were pretty good.
google avatar

Jasmine A.

Yelp
Went to a recent concert & the overall experience was pretty good! Bigger signs would be useful in the stadium throughout the sections. Prices for food & drinks were expected for a concert/stadium setting. Customer service at the food stations were great as well. 3 tenders & fries run about $12. Bathrooms are convenient. Security was tight & aware. Parking attendants were seen less & directed less on the way out after the concert though.
google avatar

Tony A.

Yelp
Great stadium with plenty of parking. Once you enter the stadium, the view from most of the seats is very good, the food is ok, all I had was a hot dog ,popcorn and beer. Way overpriced, IMO. The service was actually pretty good. They were helpful and understanding of the crazy prices they charge

Vincent A.

Yelp
This had to have been the worst stadium that I've been to. I know I'm an Eagles fan but it's the team that made the experience even worse. Saquon Barkley has to be the happiest player who ever played against the team that got rid of him.

Yelp
My first time ever going to this stadium I had a great time jets vs bills what a great game. Thumanns hots were really good the chicken tenders were pretty good I have the Philly steak cheese sandwich now thats was really good Stay away from the pizza $14 bucks for a friggin beer really ill stick to the $5 water But the experience of watching a game there won me over I was never a football fan ever but i think im starting to be one now thanks to my crazy bills fanatic wife . Watching how much fun everyone was having together at the tail gate parties The down side is you get a$$ holes everywhere i had a little words with a punk coward 19 boy But it was nothing everyone else was great But other than than everything was great Im sorry i dont back down from a punk !!! GO BILLS !!!!

Yelp
We were here for a 5K race for the Giants foundation. They set up tents in the parking lot and gave everyone a bag with Giants swag (T shirt, sunglasses, rag, number and 20% off coupon) Go Giants!!!

Yelp
Have been to this stadium a couple of times before for soccer matches . First time went to NFL match between Jets and falcons ... atmosphere is electrifying . Amazing it was . Jets played bad but overall loved it . It is amazing to see so many people tailgating and having fun . It's just insane the amount of food / beer people get for the game . Even with so much crowd , parking and entering the stadium was peaceful. It just took us 10-15 mins to park . So many people working outside and helping navigate . If u don't spend on food and beer inside , I'm sure you would save a lot :) a beer costs about 15$ and everything is ultra expensive.. you will easily spend 100$ for a family if u eat or drink there . Lots of bars around . Long queue for restrooms during the break. I liked it overall but super super expensive to eat or drink ... 4/5 ...

Yelp
Great space for events, sports, expos and concerts! Last concert I went to was for Metallica and it was a blast! Staff are courteous and helpful. Could easily fit thousands of people. Parking could be chaotic, when its involving that many people. Food and drinks are good, but expect stadium pricing and long lines. Theres plenty of bathrooms.

Yelp
Ambiance (4/5): Came here for a Jets game in the rain. Overall the stadium is spacious and decent but nothing spectacular. In the rain, the experience is definitely not as good. The football field looked super impressive. I've also been here for an Ed Sheeran concert and Coldplay and had similar decent experiences. It can get super busy during concerts so getting an Uber or Lyft is tough. I highly recommend getting ready to leave near the end so you won't be waiting on a long line for the train. Food (3/5): Mega overpriced food with sometimes long lines. I highly recommend eating and drinking prior. We ordered some chicken tenders, fries, and turkey sandwich. The tenders and fries were standard and a big burnt. The turkey sandwich tasted like it was from the grocery store. Service (3/5): Not particularly friendly but they got the food out fast. I also came to refill a water cup that I got from my initial order and they gave no issues. They also offered some free tenders since it was near the end of the game.

Yelp
Came here for the Bruce Springsteen concert and I think that they did a great job--I would come here for another concert. Getting people into parking spaces (Parking is $40.00) needs improvement--parking managers should travel to Los Angeles to see how they park cars for the Dodger games to learn how to move cars quickly into spaces--those boys in LA have it down solid for years. It took forever for Metlife parking organizers to get us into a space--I had a Jeep and almost went over a curb to get out of the mess. They moved us though security and onto the floor easily and fast. Inside things were well organized and not pushy at least in floor section. We were able to shift a few people around between a few rows to get people that wanted to dance next to other people they knew together. I was able to get my nephew who was two rows ahead into my row so he can with us. The sound was excellent. Bathrooms were on the opposite side but easy in and out with great funnel urinals so you don't get splash-back on you. Unlike Dodger stadium, they allow tailgating in the parking lot. We tailgated in the parking lot for almost an hour and I wish we came earlier to tailgate a little more--it was a great scene. Great memories of my first trip to Metlife...

Yelp
Stones Baby!! MET Life stadium, rocking the Stones, place is great, concert friendly, definitely will come again

Yelp
I'll start off saying it's a nice stadium....the concourses are wide and there are more restrooms than the old stadium. There are more food options (albeit expensive) and the lines do seem shorter. It's new so that's the good. The bad is it's boring. For 2 sports teams being here I thought it would be more spectacular or New York - New Jersey themed which it is not. When you look at other new stadiums around the league and look at ours you just get blah. Why is the inside basically battleship gray? Neither team has that in its colors. Some combination of blue, white, and green maybe? The Giants are a proud and historic franchise.....and the Jets while not has successful do have their icons too and we get none of it here. I'm not one of the people who wanted a done either, I think football should be played outside in the elements. It's just too bad that the stadium couldn't have been better. But again that being said I guess it's just nice.
google avatar

Craig G.

Yelp
MetLife stadium is so disappointing first of all from the outside it just looks like a giant air conditioner. Second of all the stadium is super inconvenient to get around and doesn't look nice on the inside. Atmosphere did get loud when Giants were good in 2022. Also good for tailgating before the game
google avatar

Marney R.

Yelp
We had such a nice night at MetLife stadium for a concert. The venue was great. They had lots of food options and everyone was helpful. The view as the sunset was gorgeous!
google avatar

Huai E.

Yelp
It's a big stadium that acts as a concert hall and football arena. Went there for the PINK concert 2 weeks ago. It was really packed but fun. The signs were organized so you know where to sit. Food is expensive and not great, just your fried foods. Stadium was loud with concertgoers excited and singing to the music.
google avatar

Yelp
This large stadium is home to the New York Giants and Jets and plays host to many concerts. I've been here before for sporting events. The place is huge so I do not recommend getting seats in the nosebleed sections - you won't see anything. Like most stadiums, the food and drinks are all overpriced. Getting here is a pain and will be costly no matter what. They have infrequent departures from Penn Station to the nearest train station or buses from Port Authority. Avoid using Uber or Lyft though as it will cost you at least $50 each way. But if you drive, the parking lot costs a whopping $40.

Yelp
Attended the Jets v. Giants preseason game on August 26th. Purchasing tickets for the event and parking was very easy through StubHub. The parking ticket (about $30) was available immedaitely after purchasing, but the tickets to the actual game arrived digitally only two days before gameday...which, from my understanding, isn't uncommon. We arrived at the stadium exit at about 5:40 pm, about an hour and twenty minutes before 7 pm kick-off. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the parking area. You follow a stream of slow-moving cars through the parking ticket booths where they validate your tickets. We printed ours...as it was recommended in the email. You then can park where directed...a short walk to the stadium entrance. Be mindful that there are a lot of people tailgating, taking up multiple spaces, grilling and tossing the ball (or cornhole sack) around. We opted to park a little further out to give those people more space and avoind any risk of balls hitting the car. Going through the gate was fairly easy...EXCEPT when I tried to get my Digital SLR (Canon R5) through. The website clearly states that still-photography camera with lenses 6" or less are permitted...though when I got to the gate I was told by a few people that no camera with detachable lenses are attached...after pleading a bit, they allowed me to enter. My lens was about 5" long for reference (a wide angle zoom lens) I did notice others with detachable lens camera throughout the stadium...so, as with many venues...I think this "rule" is essentially left up to the descretion of the gate attendant...which can be misleading and confusing for those reading from the stadium's official website. The stadium is massive...lots of food options but pre prepared to spend about $13 beers and $12-18 sandwiches and meals. Pretty standard for venues in the NYC area. Massive gift shop with lots of the home team's gear. Also some activities like running the 40 or punting through some goal posts were available in the front of the stadium shortly after clearing security. The game was great...good idea to go during the off-season...as I was able to get prime lower level seats on the 50 yeard line for about $100 each...during the regular season, these seats are about $300-350. The environment was great...everything you would expect in a regular game. The NY crowd was very into the Jets-Giants battle...lots of energy in the arena. Lines for food and bathrooms can get long at the end of each quarter and at halftime as expected. Bathroom lines are also long after the game. We actually stayed after the game for about 20 minutes...I snapped some photos as people emptied out...to allow the majority of the crowd to leave the lot. This seemed efective...as it wasn't difficult at all to leave....within 10 minutes from entering our car, we were back in the NJ Turnpike (1-95). All staff, including the ushers to check tickets and direct you to your seats were helpful and friendly.

Yelp
This venue is MASSIVE and easily the biggest stadium I have ever been to! I arrived here via Uber from Manhattan, and that was a NIGHTMARE. Getting in and out if this venue is terrible and I hope they will find space for more entrances/exits in the future. Getting any sort of rideshare is impossible. Trying to leave this venue took us 2.5 hours. Onto the show... I came here to see TWICE! Their stage presence was amazing, but their audio wasn't great. Some microphones were louder than others. Camera work and special effects were fun! Lots of fireworks, confetti, etc. This was an awesome venue to house these k-pop legends!

Yelp
We came for the Beyoncé Renaissance concert on a Saturday night! The concertgoers went all out with their outfits, so it was incredible just for people watching. Be forewarned that this is an open air stadium, so it is exposed to the elements. The initial security line to get into the stadium is actually fairly quick. Getting to your actual seat and out of this stadium takes FOREVER though, especially when you have to follow the slow crowds of people. Taking the train home at the end of the concert takes a very long time, so be prepared to wait. There are tons of places for food/drinks inside, but the prices are obviously outrageously marked up. The bathroom lines were actually not horrible, and there are public water fountains. I thought our seats were going to be less than ideal, but they were actually perfectly centered across from the stage, which was better than being closer and on the side in terms of the view. We didn't have anyone directly in front of us, so we had more room to dance! Overall: Good concert venue for an outdoor show!
google avatar

Yelp
A terrific venue from which to watch a football game! Our family is all in with the Philadelphia Eagles (even though under pressure, they fold like a cheap suit). HOWEVER, we went to a NY Giants' game and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Food was GREAT. Staff throughout the stadium could not have been nicer if they tried! Their parking staff deserves a medal! We had a great time and will come back again!

Yelp
3 stars because I saw the great & powerful Taylor Swift here and that alone SHOULD be 15 stars. But oh man, everything about getting and leaving this stadium was hot garbage. The signs for where to go to park vs drop off were so unclear and messy. I had to continuously keep asking if I was going the right away. And when I finally did park I had to figure out the best way to get to the stadium because I promise it was not as easy or obvious as you'd think. And then leaving was even worse! 70,000+ people leaving one space at the same time is not the easiest thing, but this stadium doesn't seem to have put much thought into it. The signs to get out of here were once again a mess. I kept finding myself in lanes for pick up when I simply was trying to leave. An hour after getting in my car I found myself on the clear open road, still basking in all of tswifts glory. BUT everything inside the stadium was fantastic. It really just was the chaos of parking that made me turn gray a little.

Yelp
I went to Metlife a few days ago for a concert. Arrival was ok but my hotel was also nearby and I took an Uber so I didn't have to deal with parking or trains. Pros: The venue itself was in good shape. Check in at the front gates was fine. The employees there were good. Cons: The location is terrible. My hotel was nearby and after the concert, I couldn't even walk back. MetLife is located in the middle of the highway so you physically can not walk out. We checked with the police there and it was a no go. Your other options for leaving are ride share, shuttle and train. Ride share and shuttle are super difficult because there is so much congestion on the road. It's also likely that your phones won't have any data service so you can't even request a ride. If you are able to request a ride, you'll likely end up getting cancelled on because cars can't get into the area so they give up. Security at the event did a good job securing the stage area for the artists. However, they did not enforce the walkways. People from the back were casually walking all the way up to my area and stopping about 10 feet short of the barrier. They then just planted themselves in the walk way during the show and camped there like it was their new seat, blocking everyone in the area that actually had seats. There are ZERO food options in the area at night. After a game or concert, you literally are just stuck there for hours. Stranded.
google avatar

Paul Z.

Yelp
Parking can be a nightmare, but there are a lot of options and there is an NJ transit stop right at the stadium as well as buses for certain events. The stadium is fine and easy enough to navigate with escalators up to the nosebleed section. Concessions are typical rip off, but you were allowed to bring in a certain amount of water and snacks in a clear plastic bag. Overall not a bad location for a concert or sporting event could be way better considering other modern stadiums.
google avatar

Monica T.

Yelp
It's huge, can get crowded and apparently restroom signs mean nothing as to gender (I think it's an unintended consequence of trans people demanding access to ladies rooms since it doesn't seem anyone thought about the age old issue of women having to stand in long lines to get to the ladies room & perhaps being fed up with that). Like any concert venue, food is pricey (the food I got was pretty good and definitely filling), selection isn't the greatest and these days you have to watch out for the aggressive and relentless ride share drivers who'll approach if you didn't drive there. However, I definitely feel like the staff works hard and has to deal with lots of craziness. I was at a P!nk concert with my boyfriend and we actually got better seats than the seats he'd initially bought. The experience itself was great and because I didn't have to pay to get to the stadium from NYC, it was even better. If I went with the same guy or didn't have to pay a fortune to get here from NYC, I'd definitely return.

Yelp
I stopped in here during the dog days of summer to cool down. The music was a little loud for my liking, but the chilled gazpacho really hit the spot. While I wasn't able to try the other cold soup options (cool cucumber, beet borscht, etc.) I do feel comfortable recommending this establishment to the Yelp community.

Yelp
This was my first time at this stadium and we came to see the one and only Beyoncé. The entire experience was amazing! We arrived early to get settled and ensure we were present for her performance from beginning to end. Parking was very organized and they had plenty of staff coordinating the parking area upon arrival and leaving. The lots were packed! My friend and I adhered to the stadium rules and had our see through bags. We passed an area where people had to store their bags that weren't allowed inside. Despite the large crowds, the process to enter was smooth and the only issue was there wasn't signage on where to go for floor seats. We saw signs for every section but had to go up and down before we were directed where to go which was in a completely different floor and area. There were tons of vendors to get food and drinks. The seats were not comfortable on the floor level but we were on our feet for three hours so it didn't matter that much. Overall, I would definitely check out another show or event at this stadium.

Yelp
My older son and I came here so he could watch his favorite team Barcelona play a friendly soccer game against Real Madrid. He loved every moment of it and the stadium was expansive and he throughly enjoyed it. Getting out of there can be quite crazy during matches and games like this but it's worth it for the experience.

Yelp
Maybe it's because I've only ever been here for cold weather events. Or maybe it's because I hate New York teams and am always here cheering on the competition. But there is just nothing special about the stadium that still looks like it has the scaffolding on it from the outside, over a decade later. I get that it would be virtually impossible to build something in the five boroughs, but frankly I feel badly for "New York" fans having to schlep out to dirty Jerz just to see their favorite teams. It legitimately smells bad at times. Maybe it depends which way the air is wafting but I can't get over how stinky much of this general area can be at times. Tailgating is pretty fun here, I have to admit....and becomes about the only reason it doesn't get one star. The fans do come out and represent their teams, lots of fires going in the cold weather and the smell of cooking italian meats in the air all around you. The fans are really nice too, no hostility like you may get in Philadelphia. Inside, there is also nothing special, it just reminds one of a municipal stadium from the 90's. Do the franchises that play here feel uninspired with their play because of how the stadium is? Because over the last five years at least, both teams have been pretty stale and bad. The food was boring, the drinks overpriced which is pretty standard these days and you get to witness bad football. I mean, what's not to love?

Yelp
It's a very nice stadium and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. For NY/NJ, I felt the food and drink prices weren't bad. We didn't eat, but I did look at prices and was surprised by the variety and $15 for a beer at a stadium is pretty standard. I give the park a solid 5 but the parking and getting in/out is the worst I've ever experienced. I know one must be patient when leaving a large event but it was mayhem. We had to get to a specific lot to leave so we asked someone. We struggled to find it so we kept asking stadium employee. Each person we spoke to said something different! We finally found someone that was nice and she explained exactly what we needed to do. I'd recommend knowing exactly what you need to do BEFORE you get to the venue. In case you are curious, the best way to lot B is through the covered bridge to the midway point, then down the stairs and follow the signs.

Yelp
Had an amazing time at 2024 NFL Draft: Day 1 at MetLife Stadium last night. Congrats to @nyjets draft pick Fashanu who only allowed one sack in 29 games for Penn State.

Yelp
Went to two Springsteen shows September 1st and September 3rd. Entry was easy typical phone, keys and etc in plastic container and walk through metal detector, went quickly. The crowd control was good. Got into the stadium and up to our seats in no time. We sat in the upper level the sight line was good. Ushers were helpful. The shows themselves well both spectacular. This was a bucket list item for me.

Yelp
It was packed for 30 degree weather with a. Wind chill that made it feel like 10 so thank you for the real fans who told me about the wind chill ... prompting me to wear my ski gear !!! I was fine expert tip look at the temperature and take 20!degrees off for the wind chill. Despite the cold there was tailgating and real fans there to show their support. Awesome staff to help great snacks plenty of parking and just a great clean place to have fun.

Yelp
Came up from DC for the Giants Cowboys game. We stayed in a hotel 4 miles away, so we thought leaving the hotel at 715 was plenty of time to get there, park and get to our seats...WRONG! We were at the highway entrance to the stadium for an hour, because there was no traffic control. Then once we got in, we waited about 30 mins to get the parking pass scanned. Paid good money to have a better parking spot, but it seems like they just directed all of us to the same lot. Got up to security, another 30 mins in line. So we got up to our seats finally, and to no surprise, people who were trying to sit closer were in our seats, and tried to argue that they were their seats smh. Got comfortable just in time for halftime. They really need some sort of traffic control on game nights. We go to games in DC, and the cops direct traffic to ensure a smooth process. And the people at the stadium in DC are good with the seat stealers too. I'll do my best to avoid MetLife from now on.

Yelp
Outrageous parking fee of $40 for events. Plenty of parking though but it was quite confusing as to where to park. We had looked up the designated parking lots that we were allowed to park at prior to going but when we arrived, the one that was specified on the website was not open for parking. In order for us to turn around, we had to exit and go through the parking gate again. There was no receipt given to us to verify that we had paid but since they only accept credit cards, we were able to show them that we paid and allowed to reenter without repaying. They need to have better signs of which parking lots are for parking both on the website and at the physical location. Overall, getting out was a breeze. I deducted 1 start due to the difficulty of finding which parking lot we were allowed to park in.

Yelp
It's a nice venue. The things that I want to complain about really wouldn't be fair to deduct stars. The stadium holds 80k people so the lines to get in and out of the stadium take a while and to get out of the parking lot takes even longer. TIP: Go back to your car and pull out your tailgate chair and hang out for 60-90 minutes before trying to leave. I've been here for concerts and footballs games. They have a nice food selection, especially when you are in the suites.

Yelp
Edit: went for the Metallica concert day 1. Seating was almost the same, audio was a bit better but still not good enough. Also, I went with the same backpack I brought for Ed's concert and I was stopped by security and asked to check my bag in. 5$. For real? Upsetting experience. I will never come back here. Ruined an amazing experience so much, I decided not to go to the second day of Metallica although I had the tickets already. :(

Yelp
Not a good experience here. Cowboys fans tailgating the entire parking lot, burning Giants jerseys, blasting horrible music. Not a place I would bring a family, a kid, or really anybody. The stadium has zero personality - just an enormous cement edifice that houses a not so great football franchise.

Yelp
We got here really early to find a stop to tailgate. I couldn't believe how quickly it filled up! The line to get in moved quickly. There's a lot of stands as you walk around. Of course everything is overprice and not very good. The pretzel and hot dogs were Ok. The steak sandwich was really good! The pizza tasted like elementary school lunch pizza. NY/NJ has the best pizza and this is the best you could do at their stadium? I was impressed with their condiment station. The traffic getting out is terrible. I recommend using the back ways and staying off route 3.

Yelp
I came here last night to see Lady Gaga. There was some traffic getting into the stadium. Parking was $40. We went in pretty late, security was quick and we had no issues. Once we got to our section there were people in our seats. I went to a staff member in the area to make sure we were in the right section but this person was too busy recoding the show on their phone to help. This experience was pretty annoying. The show itself was great! The sound was good. The stadium was packed with people. The most chaotic part of this experience was leaving the stadium. It felt like we were cattle being herded out. Make sure you remember which lot you parked in or else finding your car will be a nightmare. Leaving the stadium took forever! They need to do a better job with directing traffic.

Yelp
If I were rating the stadium just on the concert I saw, it would be an easy five stars! I saw Elton John here on July 23, 2022. The concert was epic and I am very grateful for the experience. I drove and left plenty of time to get there. Then, 4 miles before the stadium, traffic came to a complete standstill. It took me 45 minutes to go the last 4 miles. Parking cost $40. At the line to get into the stadium, security was extremely strict about what size purse or bag visitors were allowed to bring in. Security actually had pieces of wood that were the dimensions of allowed bags, and held them up to people's purses to compare size. About every 30 seconds someone got turned away to put their things back in the car because of the strict rules about what could be brought in--not just pocketbooks but also cameras, beverages, food, and stadium cushions. Lots of people argued with security. This made the line move very slowly. If you attend a concert here, I urge you to look on the website ahead of time and familiarize yourself with the list of things not allowed. This will save a lot of anger and frustration. By the time I got inside, Elton was already on the second song, so I entered the concert cranky and thinking how I would never come to this venue again due to the overcharged parking, rules, and the traffic. It was 98 degrees out so I had to stop to buy water, which was five dollars for a 12 oz bottle! After the first 15 minutes, though, I really got into the mood of the concert and started having fun. Elton John is such an exhilarating performer. As I took in all the joyful energy and awesome performance, I forgot to care about traffic, expensive parking, rules, and overpriced water. I had such a great time and loved the show so much that I would have gone back for the next night if I had had the opportunity to.

Yelp
Came here for the Giants game and my experience was just meh. First of all, parking here is a sh*t show. Nobody regulates the lanes, or where to turn...its just a mob of cars entering in a state of unknown. Pro tip: if you plan not to tailgate, arrive about 30-40 minutes before game time as the tailgaters clear out their extra parking spots and you can grab a spot close to the stadium, once they pack up. Also, don't forget where you parked (yup, it was a disaster looking for my car after the game). During the game, the energy is amazing. Bathroom lines are long but quick and the bathrooms itself are kept fairly clean. Food and drinks are overpriced (of course) and just mediocre. Another tip: buy all of your alcoholic drinks before halftime ends. Apparently they stop serving alcohol at the start of the 3rd quarter, very inconvenient. Overall, this is a typical sports venue- parking sucks, traffic sucks, food and drinks are overpriced for what you get...but it's the home of my favorite football team (go Giants) so I have no choice but to deal with it.

Yelp
This name of this place will forever go down as "Giants Stadium" in my book. Can you tell which team I'm rooting for? LOL I had an amazing tour guide whose name I cannot recall ( but he's got an off beat sense of humor and gnarly eye brows ). My group had the pleasure of hearing his random Snapple facts and dad jokes... about any and every topic - not just football stadium talk. He showed us around the stadium in areas like the press box, the Legacy Club, and outer grounds where some pregame festivities happen. It's a nice facility and one of the greenest stadiums in the world ( or so we were told ). It isn't the prettiest looking stadium though. Our tour guide jokingly said it looks like a big air conditioner and I couldn't agree more! LOL Still, nothing gets my blood pumping quite like to roar of the crowd on a packed out game day. Go Giants!!!!!!!
