"It seems that most people still don’t know that one of the best Mexican restaurants in LA (La Casita Mexicana) opened up a sister restaurant in Baldwin Hills. Well, they did and it’s great. The big space is modern and festive, with many of the classic dishes from La Casita making it onto the menu here. Their 4-8pm Happy Hour is easily the best in the area." - Brant Cox

Enchiladas were great with a side of white rice. The shrimp plate was like an appetizer serving, a side of white rice along with the 6 shrimp, seemed a little too plain n not filling, delicious flavor tho. Taquitos were good, no side of rice tho. Chefs michelada was good, tamarindo flavor mix. Atmosphere was nice and love the art work.

Food and drinks amazing. Prices are fair. The venue gives me a mexican beachside feel. Only issue is the staff. They are nice but our orders were constantly incorrect or forgotten. The staffing system definitely needs some tweaking.

I went on a cruise to Ensenada of course the cruise was Amazing and I had a great time with Carnival Cruises. Ensenada on the other hand is a very sad sight. The children walking around asking for money is heartbreaking. I always feel bad for them because they look so poor and sad. The streets smell bad and everyone is in hustle mode, which is understandable. It’s a huge tourist location. The bars have great prices but Poppas and Beer is the ultimate place to party. Don’t go on the excursion, either walk or get a ride because the tour is not as fun. Make sure you bring cash if you intend on shopping.

For the ones that think that a good coffee can’t be found. I suggest to come for the coffee a la olla. The smell and the flavor is so good , the touch of cinnamon... gives you the chance to try something new.
