Best Queso, Queso Fundido, Cheese Dip in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"With dishes inspired by Acapulco, this popular restaurant and tequila bar on the edge of Grant Park includes a large patio and serves everything from pork pibil tacos and taquitos dorados to brisket-stuffed quesadillas and steak and goat cheese enchiladas. Kick off the meal with a bowl of queso mixed with chorizo and one of Mezcalito’s many margarita choices or a paloma cocktail. Order online for takeout." - Eater Staff

Best Margaritas in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Located on the edge of Grant Park, Mezcalito’s has been a longtime spot for residents and visitors to the neighborhood for tacos, chilaquiles tortilla lasagna, brisket flautas, and grilled shrimp and cheese quesadillas. Regulars to Mezcalito’s swear by the margaritas, which come by the glass or pitcher, and include a hibiscus margarita and the fiery Devil’s Water made with ten pepper-infused tequila. These margaritas are best enjoyed with a group of friends on the sunny patio out front." - Eater Staff

10 Best Atlanta Restaurants and Bars for Mexican Food and Margaritas | Eater

"A Grant Park staple, Mezcalito’s has some of the best margaritas in town thanks to using freshly squeezed limes and lemons in lieu of a mix and premium tequilas like Cazadores. While their traditional margarita is great, they also have fun spins on the drink like the Georgia Peach margarita. Or, if you prefer to sip tequila straight, they offer tasting flights. Their tacos are served on flour tortillas and come in tasty options like the slightly sweet pork pibil and the grilled shrimp with red pepper sauce. The space inside is lovely, with plenty of eye-catching art, but the patio is also inviting." - Vox Creative

Mezcalito’s Cocina & Tequila Bar - Review - Grant Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"For the days when you want to use brunch as a jumping off point for day drinking, Mezcalitos in Grant Park is where you should start. Their huge patio is dog friendly and especially good for groups, and their classic take on huevos rancheros is one of our favorite brunch dishes in the city. They also serve a wide range of margaritas, which will make working from home on Monday sound like an increasingly good idea as the day goes on." - Sarah Bailey

Went there for brunch. It was dead when we showed up but eventually got pretty busy. The food was pretty good, not amazing, but far from bad. I ordered chips and salsa and chilaquiles. I did add salsas on top of my chilaquiles to give it some more flavor, but overall they were tasty. My gf got the enchiladas and liked them, but stated both the rice and beans were bland.

Google
The food was very traditional, and the drinks were great. The green rice was different but not too flavorful. Black beans were good. I had the chicken tacos, which were well seasoned, and the chicken kabobs were as well. This is a cute local spot. Plenty of parking for sure. Music was greater

Our favorite spot to eat, laugh and enjoy!! The blood orange margaritas are the BRST! The weather was perfect for patio seating and the food was excellent!!!

Google
One of my favorite places in the neighborhood! Food is consistently delicious and service is always great! There is a cool bar inside and a patio outside. The drinks are always fantastic, I recommend trying the devil's water if you are brave but my favorites are the Batida and Mezcal Sour. There is a small parking lot available at the restaurant. The Pablano soup is incredible!

The food was delicious. The rice could use some flavor. And they must have gone busy because they didn't check on us often.

Google
We had great service tonight! Our server was named Rae I believe and everyone we interacted with was kind, easy going, and efficient. The margarita was delicious and taquitos are one of our favorite comfort foods in the city.

Google
The food was great, the bartender was attentive & when brother asked for more soda, he gave him a tall beer glass due to how much he drank. Was a great experience. Would come again in the future

Update: I had the steak and goat cheese empanada. It was really good. Of course our group got the trip as an app. Update: My new favorite is the poblano soup. ❤️❤️. I also tried the goat cheese beet salad, I'd order it again. Can't stop my self from getting the trip as an app. Tend to find the cocktails on the lighter side of the pour. Original: Really good! The stuffed pepper was amazing. Very quick lunch service. Plenty of parking. Salsa and chips by request.

Yelp
I have been to this location several times as it is across the street from my best friends apartment. Usually it's a great spot to relax , get a good margarita and some great tacos and sides. Upon this visit my friends and I noticed something was off. Unfortunately we experienced one issue after another. Starting off , the ambiance is always decent , a divey cantina /bar feel with some cool lighting and wood tables and chairs. That hasn't changed. We seated ourselves which is customary for this restaurant. We were greeted by our waiter who was new to the restaurant (per his endorsement) and we proceeded to give him our drink orders and apps (only chips and salsa and gauc). The drinks took about 15-20 minutes to come out and they tasted premixed and the chips were stale. The gauc was flavorless. I ordered the steak quesadilla which did actually come out in a timely manner and it was also pretty flavorless and also not cooked very well (still soft tortilla) or sliced. My entire meal, drinks included, were a let down. I did have a bad and bougie margarita that was good but my original margarita tasted so watered down. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because I have actually had good experiences here before but this time was just not good. At one point my group was even prompted to ask the waiter whether they were under new management (they were not). If you were to find yourself in the grant park area and wanting some Mexican classics id say come here but stick with standard taco dishes and basic margaritas. Hopefully the next time I come back the experience is how I'm used to it being , fun and relaxed with great tacos and drinks.

Yelp
A great impromptu place to dine-(found on Seated app and received 11% back)- checked in on Yelp for a free shot! Hubby stated the "shot" was A+ and Spicy but to me the house margarita did not taste like they use fresh lime(too acidic) Service was excellent, the food was prepared quickly, and our hostess was attentive. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos! The shrimps were massive, and the toppings were flavorful-I really like the concept of buying per taco so I can mix and match my tacos sides. really nice decor, I love the artwork and murals. Some seats are quaint and hidden, very intimate, while others are out in the open. This is a great location for groups and private dates.

Yelp
I've FINALLY found my favorite local Grant Park ATL restaurant bar to relax & make new friends! Only took a year Mezcalito's Cocina & Tequila Bar These shrimps and sangria are everything AND the staff are like family

Yelp
Great location, yummy food, good service & reasonable prices. Definitely want to go back again soon! The inside is very clean and cute. Very flavorful food! If you like Mexican, definitely give this place a shot!

Yelp
The food at Mezcalitos is definitely better than your chain tex-mex joint. I had the veggie enchiladas and the vegetables were a great mix of fresh produce, including squash, and a generous portion to boot. The yucca fries and fish tacos are also solid. It's got a good indoor and nice patio space, with decor that is also a bit different from your stereotypical tex-mex chain. Service was a little slow, came on a Saturday lunch, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Unique, down-to-earth, sophisticated, no-nonsense Mexican food & drinks. When you walk in the bunker/cantina smells delicious. The owner comes to talk to you about your day. The staff is happy and energetic. Lalo, the super nice bartender, is kind and funny... somethings we could all do better at being. But it all comes down to the food, of course. Which is awesome. It's not pure Mexican. I call it high-end Mexican with a Baja twist. It's not cheap but definitely not high priced. You'd spend more at Applebees for Sysco food than here... and there is more for your money here. This is a restaurant that has found a happy medium between classic authenticity and modern flair. If you're looking for something super posh, go elsewhere. If you want a great date night, a fun setting for a party, or just want to chill at the bar with friendly folks, give it a try. And they have an outdoor patio and plenty of parking.

Yelp
I had difficulty using my Upside discount coupon with them. They didn't seem to know what they were doing on that. Also the portions were small for the price tag, and the food was not seasoned well at all. I got a cheese quesadilla with impossible ground burger. there was like no cheese in the quesadilla. I had to put cheese when I got home. that was the only thing that made it tasty. the meat was crumbly and falling out. They said it came with a side salad which was a little bit of lettuce (like garnish amount ) with no tomatoes no nothing extra just some shredded lettuce. I probably wouldn't go here anymore.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
I really liked the lunch offerings here. Yeah there is a $3 charge for chips and salsa. But we found the lunch portions perfectly sized and tasty.

Yelp
Here in a Thursday afternoon for lunch. They weren't super busy, which was nice. I ordered the shrimp tacos and a margarita, which was DELICIOUS! The rice and beans were also great. Always a fav. Everything was light and flavorful. The service was super fast and our waitress was incredibly kind. The outdoor seating was perfect for a spring afternoon as well.

Yelp
Delicious Mexican cuisine in a lively atmosphere. I walked into the restaurant with a hour til close and had a great dining experience that I didn't feel rushed to complete. The chips and salsa are so good. I like the green salsa personally. I'm usually a quesadilla, taco or, fajita kind of girl but, I tried something different during my visit and the Taquitos Dorados did not disappoint. My only request would be that the salad be put on a separate plate. Though quite good, the salad dressing seeped into my Taquitos and took away some of the crisp factor. Oh! And you may thank me or want to fight after but, with checking on on Yelp, you receive a free shot of Devils Water. Just know that the tequila is infused with TEN peppers...it's pretty hot!
google avatar

Yelp
Briny shrimp, shrimp tacos, chicken quesadilla, beet salad, all wonderful! Beware: you do have to pay for all extra dressing, Pico, etc.

Yelp
Honestly, ended up here by mistake but I don't regret it. Food, drinks, and service were amazing! I ordered the tacos, thought 5 wasn't gonna be enough so I ordered it with rice and beans. But 5 tacos was more than enough, I barely touched my rice and beans. I didn't take a picture but ordered cheese with chorizo dip and a Mezcal Sour. Big fan of mezcal so you have to get their drinks. The place is kinda dark so bring your lights if you can't see at night. Not a big deal for me but I know most complain when it's slightly dark. Coming back when I'm in town!

Yelp
My dinner experience at Mezcalito's last night was unfortunate. The restaurant operations was unorganized and overall the customer service was lacking in many ways. When we arrived, no one greeted us. After several staff members walked by us, not until 8 minutes later, we were spoken to. The restroom was not clean with toilet paper clogging one toilet and unattended to. Once we sat at the table we were met with extremely loud music that "could not be turned down". Not only was the music way too loud, but the music was also turning off and on the entire time we were there, making it very uncomfortable. We could barely hear the waitress talking to us because it was so loud. The restaurant had other tables we could have sat at even after we expressed discomfort with the way too loud music. Prices did not match the prices online with what was asked of us to pay. The sides came out 10 minutes before our mains (leaving our sides cold until our mains came). It's apparent the microwave was used on several dishes, as the plates were too hot. It took 25 + minutes to get any drink orders, napkins, or water for everyone at the table. The staff looked like they lacked training and the ability to work cohesively together. At one point both the GM and Manager were trying to solve the same problem along with our server which was just a price adjustment due to the wrong price being listed on the website. Iv lived in the area for 30+ years, this is not a good look Mezcalito's.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVED this place!! I can't believe it's been down the road from me for so long without me trying it. Just classic Mexican restaurant - chips and salsa, queso, tacos, enchiladas, and ofc margaritas! The service was unbelievably fast too. I can't write enough good things about this place.

Yelp
Impossible stuff is back on the menu and it's delicious, so bumping this back up to my original 5 star review. Wish I'd known sooner that they brought it back. Plant-based tacos, quesadilla, and enchiladas are all great.

Yelp
Food was fresh and very tasteful. The restaurant decor and vibe are both very authentic. My server was professional and very knowledgeable regarding the food menu items. My drink was amazing and filled with flavor. The interior and bathrooms both clean. Enjoyed eating here and will return in the near future.

Yelp
The food was so very good and fresh tasting! It came out in a timely manner can't say how much I enjoyed this. Our server was so sweet and kind very very happy with the service. Ambience is ok nothing super special but again the food was so good! I had the poblano enchiladas and the wife had their goat cheese and steak enchiladas in a mole sauce. Hers was so very good if you're even thinking about trying it you should!
google avatar

Amber Q.

Yelp
Great, reasonably priced drinks and good food. I had the house-made red sangria and a caipirinha The caipirinha was very good! For our meal, I ordered the salmon flautas. They seemed as if they weren't as good as I remembered, pre-Covid but they were still good. The black beans were nearly flavorless, however it was nothing a lil salt and pepper couldn't fix. My partner ordered the pork mole, which he enjoyed. Coming from Arizona, it's hard to find good Mexican food in Atlanta, but this one makes the list!

Yelp
Ok so, where do I begin. Oh, yeah! We were looking for some good Taco Tuesday deals but could not seem to find any that we had not tried before of course. Then after given up on that search from with hunger settling in, we decided to go to a Mexican Restaurant anyway. Besides it's really a favorite food choice. Once we arrived we seated ourselves, the water came out to the table almost immediately and our waiter greeted us with a warm hello. We ordered our food, and I should have taken a picture of the finished result to show you how well pleased we were. One of my favorite things to order from here is their salsa. It is amazing. Hopefully you our experience is as pleasant as ours. Enjoy Mezcalito's Cocina & Tequila Bar!

Yelp
I found this restaurant looking for a quick meal with a friend. The decor was cute and on trend for the area. I ordered the veggie enchiladas. They were tiny and lacked flavor. This was shocking for me because the picture on the website looks totally different. Their skinny margarita was actually delicious but service was just ok. Due to the area, I think the server thought she wouldn't receive a proper tip from us (people of color;sad). She smiled and made conversation at every table that looked different from us. Never smiled at us once. Poor girl, probably has PTSD from a previous experience. Anyway, a server should always smile and be kind because you never know who's sitting at your table. I'll return to see if their bar experience is different.

Natalya P.

Yelp
Upon arrival, we were told the wait would 25-30 minutes, so were pleasantly surprised to be seated after just 5 minutes of waiting. Our waitress could have been more attentive, but she was pleasant overall, as well as well-mannered. I had two grilled steak tacos. There was a significant amount of fat in the cuts. The meat however, was tender and juicy. It would have benefited from additional salt though. The green rice was pretty average. I loved the black beans- perfectly firm and salty. The food came out fairly quickly, especially considering the amount of parties occupying the restaurant.

Yelp
Pulling up and parking at Mezcalitos is easy, there's a free parking lot right behind the restaurant. There's a patio with outside (mostly covered) seating and the decor inside is cute and colorful. When my friend and I arrived, we were the only ones sitting outside and our server seemed annoyed by that. We asked about the mezcal drinks offered and he just kept telling us about the mezcalrita, but I noticed the mezcal and sour and the mezcal old fashioned were also options that he didn't mention. The drinks were the highlight of the show for sure! We switched seats to be at the bar after we got our drinks because our server seemed so grumpy. I got the fried chicken mole and i was so disappointed by the lack of flavor in the mole. Mole has 20+ ingredients, but salt and spice were not one of them at this restaurant. I added chipotle sauce, house hot sauce, and salt and pepper to be able to make this have some sazón. The mashed potatoes were undoubtedly the instant flake kind and they were still flakin' on my plate. They needed more liquid for sure. My friend got the taquitos which also lacked any sort of flavor profile. I'd recommend this place for the ambiance and cocktails, but suggest you eat elsewhere.

David C.

Yelp
Food is pretty decent. Too bad the service consistently underwhelms. Patio on busy nights is closed. Service to table and then follow up is minimal and takes forever. Each time we come it is a challenge to get service, place an order, and then the waiter disappears until we summon them for our check. Food is decent though overpriced for the quality and the service is nonexistent.
google avatar

Taylor T.

Yelp
As a vegetarian, this is my go-to Mexican spot when I feel too tired to cook at home. I love their fried tofu tacos (the sauce drizzled on top is amazing and each taco comes garnished with a generous slice of avocado). I always order a side of black beans (only beans because the rice is a bit bland in my opinion) and I love that their chips come with both green and red salsa. The interior is spacious but thanks to the quirky decor it has a cozy and homey feel. There's also a bar and outdoor patio seating. The servers have always been pleasant. There might've been one time that I felt a server could've been more attentive, but I'm pretty laid back especially since it's not something that happens regularly. You may experience more of a wait on Friday nights/weekends but all other days you should be seated pretty quickly (or immediately if the "seat yourself" sign is out on display!)
google avatar

Kiah R.

Yelp
Came for a tequila tasting with friends here, it was very educational. I learned so much about tequila from how its made to the different types and you got to taste each type of tequila (we got the most expensive package). It comes with chips and different salsas, queso & guac. You can add on food but we just ordered food afterwards, the tacos were good and we ordered margarita pitchers after as well and they were STRONG. Overall a great time & I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The elote. You must try the elote. Drinks ok but not consistent. Same drink ordered after trying someone else's and it tasted off. Can't get cheese dip with no jalapeños. Kids weren't thrilled.

Yelp
Ordered from this place for the very first time today the Chile Relleno vegetarian. This is how I got it! I'm not sure what pigs have eaten from here but I'm certainly no pig! This looks like pure and absolute slop! Called the restaurant to notify them and the person tried to cover for the fact they did not care! I will never order from here again. My entire day is ruined.

Yelp
Went for dinner on a Thursday and we got seated right away. It wasn't very busy inside but the outside dinning area had more busy tables. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. She recommended several margaritas to us and the two we tried were good and spicy. Our food came out very quickly and it was good.We also got 2 shots which was good because it wasn't very strong. This is a good spot to chill and eat if you're in the food for mexican food.

Yelp
I wanted to avoid a bad review and contacted the restaurant directly in regards to my first complaint. I complained because my enchiladas were horrible. I always order the steak and goat cheese enchiladas from the East lake location. I have previously visited this location. I never will again. The server was great. She was really friendly. My food was awful. My tortillas were raw. Today I went to eat my birthday tres leches dessert to find a bug. I'm am utterly disgusted.

Yelp
My experience at Mezcalito's on Saturday evening was a disappointment. The restaurant appears very disorganized and customer service was lacking. The hostess told us it would be 15-20 minutes to seat a party of 3 and took my number. Despite sitting less than 10 feet from the hostess (in direct eyeline), she clearly forgot about us. After 40 minutes of waiting and then watching other parties being seated before us, I went to the stand to inquire how much longer. She asked how many in the party. When I told her I had been waiting 40 minutes, she got really flustered and told us a table was finally ready. She seated us without menus or silverware. It took quite a while to get menus or drinks. The server for our section was clearly overwhelmed. The food also took quite a while and wasn't really that good. We had to ask twice for silverware. They finally just brought us the caddy with all the clean silverware in it. I'm not sure how many people had put their hands in that caddy to grab their own silverware. The waiter said the hostess hadn't had time to roll the silverware. Yet every time I looked over at the hostess stand, if she was there, she was on her phone. When my friend asked the manager, in front of the hostess, why it took so long to seat us, she lied to the manager. He didn't seem to care about customer service about all. He seemed pretty checked out. I've lived in this area for 20+ years and frequented this restaurant before. I won't be going back.

Yelp
Food Only reason for any stars. I got the fried chicken mole and it was phenomenal! The sauce was delicious but the portion looked way smaller than the photo. My boyfriend got the goat cheese steak quesadillas and they were delicious but very heavy (not the restaurants fault, truly just a flavorful dish) We also got the trio appetizer. We also had a bug crawling around in the guac (see photo) so until I realized this the guac was great. The bug could've flown in while we were eating but it it did seem buried in there... Their queso was watery but tasted good so I was on board. The salsas were also delicious. Service This is where I am alarmed. Ok I know I sound high maintenance but y'all I promise I worked in the food industry so I have a lot of patience for most things but lord the following was our experience: 1- The restaurant is seat yourself and once seated we were not seen by any waiter for a solid 20/25 minutes (I am usually patient but it truly seemed like no one noticed us) once we got seen it was another 15/20 each time. 2- A waitress brought us two waters and y'all....I kid you not....one water was ice cold (looked like water, totally normal and great) and the other glass was luke warm and the liquid was VISIBLY CLOUDY. To the point of astonishment for me thinking...did this waitress not even notice? I felt kind of crazy. It did not even look like water! It was completely opaque! What the heck? We ascertained that this was filled with the washout water and had some residue. I should've taken a photo but I was so baffled and I was hoping to show the waitress...but no one came again for another 20 minutes. 3- I didn't get a chance to talk to the waitress about the water or the bug because they were always on the go, so I do feel bad. Atmosphere Typical of most Mexican restaurants but there is a cool looking patio. Despite our waitresses being MIA they were polite and nice. Parking There is a dedicated lot but do be careful it gets congested! So overall I am disappointed with the experience here and I hope others have a better one! I think if I ever crave that chicken mole I will do takeout only and check for bugs.

Yelp
Good price points and good food. Everything I got was spicy (including my cocktail! And the portion size and price points are chef's kiss. A cool atmosphere with its own parking, a large patio, and a large menu. What's not to like?

Yelp
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Atlanta! Very cute atmosphere. They have plenty of parking and a huge patio. The food is delicious and very colorful. The goat cheese and beat salad was not only a beautiful dish but lots of complimentary flavors. The beats, avocado and apricot was a great balance. The chicken taco was amazing as well and they were not scarce with the meat! The steak quesadilla was very good as well, the meat was marinated perfectly. We opted for a pitcher of the pineapple gold margs and were definitely glad we did . The Service was top notch! When you go ask for Ryann! She was so sweet and very attentive. Be sure to check in on Yelp you may be in for a surprise ~FOODis£0¥€

Yelp
I'm just here to say that I'm addicted to the Fried Shrimp Taco & Elote & Mezcalito's! That's literally all so eat here although I've tried other dishes like plantains, salad and various tacos. The service here is usually quick and pleasant. I love that you can sit outside on a warm day, have a drink and listen to Spanish tunes. This is my go to taco spot in Grant Park!

Vic S.

Yelp
Mezcalito's is always "closed" for delivery orders. Why offer delivery when you always have it turned off.
google avatar

Avi R.

Yelp
A hidden treasure outside beltline area! Mezcalito was a pleasant surprise. They are open for dine in both inside and patio area. Staff are wearing masks at all times. Seating can seem little close to each other as they get crowded during the weekend. Mezcalito has several options both for drinks and food. Non meat eaters have plenty to choose from tofu, cheese, veggies in most staple mex entrees. Our margaritas were well made. The food enchilladas were spot on, really good sauce! Only drawback is they charge for chips&salsa, yup! Parking can be a problem during busy times. Street parking possible around the area. Decent prices and service.

Yelp
Ok, I am giving the food 5 stars and the service only 3! We usually go to Tin Lizzy's around the corner but this place had great reviews and was Practically empty for taco Tuesday, so my son and I decided to try them out. When we arrived we were looking for a covered patio, and it was super cute the way they had it situated, but we didn't get a welcoming vibe from the staff. Upon checking in thru yelp, we received a free shot of devil's water so right away I asked the waiter about it, he told me that he was new and he would go and ask about it.... well he left, and my son and I sat there for almost 10 minutes before this young lady came back out and introduced herself as our waitress......again, I was getting a vibe from her also. So I know that we are going through some difficult times and its soooo much easier to deal with to-go orders, but it was my birthday and my son and I wanted to dine out and enjoy! We ended up ordering the the grill chicken Quesadillas, chips and salsa which was all very very delicious note: you have to pay for the chips and salsa, I believe it was three dollars. I got my devil water (even though she saw the yelp coupon, but I had to remind her to take it off my ticket $6) it seemed like it took forever to get our drinks out and with the place being empty, I didn't understand that.... but the food came out right away. I also ordered the special $6 Margarita, tasty but very light on the liquor. The quesadilla are good enough for me to make another trip to this place, but because of the bad vibes... I think we will stick with Tin Lizzy's. Note: If you are going to open up and allow dine in, be nice and welcoming, I mean Atlanta has sooo many Mexican restaurants, when things get back to normal, people will remember how you treated them.

Yelp
This is a wonderful restaurant with great service, reasonable priced, and delicious food. The server was very attentive and got help from others when needed. Thank you for a memorable time.

Yelp
This is a no for me! A friend told me it was bad, but I had to see for myself. She said the drinks were good and they have an avocado sauce that good--it was not. I ordered cheese enchiladas and it came with rice and beans. All items were not tasty. The guacamole and key lime margarita were really good so all in all I paid $50 for guca and a drink!

Yelp
This place is super cute. Me and my family sat outside. Our server Marcos was extremely helpful with recommendations. He was very friendly and gave great service. Whenever it's my first time, I like to try a few menu items. I ordered the Chicken taco and the steak taco... both were yummy. The jalapeño Mayo was delish. I also wanted to try the tamale. The order comes with 1 tamale. It's HUGE. I definitely could not finish it. Overall, very enjoyable experience. My only small hang up... the allow dogs on the patio... in my opinion I don't like eating around pets. I'm also allergic so being around dogs are never good for me...The good news is there's social distancing and adequate spacing so I was still able to enjoy my food.

Yelp
I've been in Atlanta since 1997. And one thing I've learned is when you find a place that serves excellent food generally you're gonna have to pay a higher price. But here the food is great and the price is reasonable it literally contains the good hard work they put into it. Even their drink seems organic. The picture is them squeezing fresh lemons or limes. One of the Lana's best kept secrets So I have to chang the rating down to one star. They are very deceitful in there portrayal of being clean and sanitary. I saw a young man grab a handful of straws and literally play the drums with them his hands are all over the straws. And then as he's about to bring some of the straws to the other guest. He wraps one end in a napkin. After that. I see a man filling a trashcan with food from previous guests. Ases filling this trashcan up with garbage he then walks to the to go window and begins putting the tops on to the Aluminum containers Perhaps I'm being unrealistic perhaps it should be assumed that if you go out to eat you were going to be eating something utterly and completely disgusting or at least if you saw how they treat it your food you probably would choose not to eat it

Yelp
Great place for Mexican food. I've been here several times. First time since the pandemic started, it hasn't changed much. Great service and great food. Lots of beers to choose from and good music. I ordered the Taquitos dorados ($13). Like flautas but better. You will enjoy it. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
The food is good, but the service is a little slow at times, especially if you aren't a regular. They have a mezcal sour- made with mezcal tequila, pineapple, and jalapeños that is the BOMB! I

Yelp
Order from Mezcalito's through Uber Eats, two out of three items were missing from my order. Pretty simple order l, but they couldn't get it right. One coke, not there, one queso chips and salsa, no queso, and chicken enchiladas, actually there. What a bust.

Yelp
I've written a review before but I had to make another one just for my server Jier tonight. My partner and I came here after a long day at work, and I LOVED my server Jier's energy. So sweet, attentive, and friendly. Plus, our food came out in 8 MINUTES!!!! I didn't know I could love this place more, but Jier and the kitchen were on point tonight and really made our day. You guys all deserve raises !! Thank you !

Yelp
This is the best authentic Mexican spot I have had. Though our food did come a little late due to a waitress mishap it was definitely worth the wait. My friend and I enjoyed a dinner date here. We ordered the chips and queso. I got the chicken and cheese quesadilla and she got variations of their tacos. We also quenched our thirst with the Berry margarita pitcher. ( you also get to take leftover drinks when you leave! Major bonus! ) I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or get together with friend. There is a private parking lot Seating inside and out Mask optional 10/10 would recommend
