Ok, I am giving the food 5 stars and the service only 3!
We usually go to Tin Lizzy's around the corner but this place had great reviews and was Practically empty for taco Tuesday, so my son and I decided to try them out. When we arrived we were looking for a covered patio, and it was super cute the way they had it situated, but we didn't get a welcoming vibe from the staff. Upon checking in thru yelp, we received a free shot of devil's water so right away I asked the waiter about it, he told me that he was new and he would go and ask about it.... well he left, and my son and I sat there for almost 10 minutes before this young lady came back out and introduced herself as our waitress......again, I was getting a vibe from her also.
So I know that we are going through some difficult times and its soooo much easier to deal with to-go orders, but it was my birthday and my son and I wanted to dine out and enjoy! We ended up ordering the the grill chicken Quesadillas, chips and salsa which was all very very delicious note: you have to pay for the chips and salsa, I believe it was three dollars. I got my devil water (even though she saw the yelp coupon, but I had to remind her to take it off my ticket $6) it seemed like it took forever to get our drinks out and with the place being empty, I didn't understand that.... but the food came out right away. I also ordered the special $6 Margarita, tasty but very light on the liquor.
The quesadilla are good enough for me to make another trip to this place, but because of the bad vibes... I think we will stick with Tin Lizzy's.
Note: If you are going to open up and allow dine in, be nice and welcoming, I mean Atlanta has sooo many Mexican restaurants, when things get back to normal, people will remember how you treated them.
