Meze Mazi

Our party of 7 was seated promptly even without reservation on a Saturday afternoon. The interior and the vibe is really pretty. Our sever was great as well. We ordered from the brunch menu and the deal of getting one drink coffee/juice/cocktail free was great. The food was great. The french toast was my favorite, perfect amount of sweetness and so fluffy.

Stopped in after a Candlelight Crossroads Concert and had a lovely time. Atmosphere was nice, staff was attentive and friendly (although I didn't get his name) our waiter was courteous and helpful. We decided on small plates & dined on lamb skewers, feta stuffed eggplant and grilled shrimp, octopus and calamari all of which were delicious, presented well and the right temperature! For drinks we sipped on Sikko & some kinda fig drink that was perfect & not too sweet When in the city, I'd definitely visit again ☺️

Went to Meze Mazi for the first time last night and although the food was good, the overall experience was not that enjoyable. We had a reservation for 3 people and when we arrived the table was only set for 2 people which makes no sense to me but we brushed it off. The waiter kept disappearing so when the salad came, one person still had no utensil or plate so we just walked up to the bar area and grabbed from there. It’s about 20 degrees in NYC and the restaurant was so cold. We asked the waiter if they could raise the heat and he said yes but we froze all night while we were there. Our water glasses were empty and we had to ask to get a refill, and then a while after my friend asked for an additional refill and he only refilled her cup meanwhile the other 2 cups were getting empty as well. In my experience from eating out and just basic customer service, you refill all glasses or at least ask the other guests if they would like their water refilled as well. For us it just seemed like basic service skills were lacking.

I had an amazing brunch experience at this restaurant. The unlimited mimosas and delicious pancakes with salmon Benedict were a real treat. Our server, Marco, To Earth, provided excellent service throughout our meal. I highly recommend this place for a delightful brunch.

Meze Mazi is a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant on 3rd Ave. Because of its corner location, they are able to have a long dining room with glass windows for a nice airy feel. The decor is flowery and inviting. Stopped by for their great value brunch - $20 for a brunch cocktail and entree. That's normally the cost of 1 drink in the city. Excellent quality of food and tasty drinks. Had the Santa Barbara omelet and White Sangria. Great price for a tasty brunch in the neighborhood. Location - 7 Service - 8 Quality - 9 Ambiance - 8

We had a wonderful meal here last night. Both the salmon and the Branzini (Lavraki?) were amazing. My Branzini was really the best I've ever had anywhere. Prefectly grilled and crispy top and bottom. A whole fish the size of the plate. We also had the green beans and Greek lemon potatoes as sides. The Grilled octopus app was really good too as was the dessert of Galakto. Usually I don't like Greek desserts because they're a bit too sticky sweet. This wasn't. Very good. As was our Server Marco who helped to make the evening perfect.

Great restaurant with Mediterranean feeling. The brunch is a great deal: great price, good portions, delicious. The vibe is nice and picture-perfect. Considering we had 90- minute unlimited drinks, I feel the service was a little slow. But still pretty good pick.

The Meze Mazi is an absolute amazing Greek restaurant located in Manhattan, New York. In May of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself to the Meze Mazi to celebrate our Happy Relationship Anniversary!!! We were graciously welcomed by the restaurant’s staff and we both found our meals to be well cooked, seasoned and highly delicious!!! Both my wife, Kathy and I highly recommend that everyone visit and dine at this wonderful restaurant!!!

Food and prices were always good, but the service was bizarre to say the least. It always seemed like there was never more than one person working on the weekend brunch shifts, and it always takes a while to put your order in and for the food to come out, but we did keep coming back because the food and presentation were always good, and the restaurant itself is a nice vibe.

Wanted Mediterranean and couldn't move after this. Close to being a go to. Sat at the bar and it was lit up but the open window area is a nice place too. Had the classic Greek and its whole vegetables which was different and a classic which was great to have after a carby dinner like the gyro. The hummus and pita were great as pita had the warm out of the oven taste which helps for appetizers The halloumi was so addicting and finished it all, hot and juicy which I want again as I'm typing it. Pita was huge so great value and had thin cut cries with perfect amount of salt. Couldn't walk after as we had it all but was so worth it.

The place stood out, with a beautiful little outdoor seating of plants, but unfortunate everything else was subpar. The menu was simple enough, a weekend brunch menu. It also stated all brunches include a drink, but it didn't seem like the server was going to point that out unless we inquired, as he was going to walk away after jotting down our entrees. That could have been a small little mishap, but the service was also minimum for our table in particular. He did not check up on us as he did with other nearby patrons. Food wise, I got a classic Greek Salad ($20) from missing it the last time I had it. It was as good as I was craving it to be, with always the juiciest sweetest tomatoes and other veggies, and huge globs of feta all doused in that olive oil drizzle. My boyfriend's Mousaka Pitza ($20) was a casserole on pizza. The ground beef didn't match or maybe it was the hidden eggplant flavor. I feel like it had potential, but I couldn't get into it. The food was enjoyable and good to try once for a light brunch, but the service could be worked on.

Went here for Sunday brunch with my partner's friends. I have never been to a Greek restaurant before so this was a first time experience. I'm very reluctant to try sauces and spreads, but I can definitely say I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the spreads that I tried. It was a bit tricky to the flavors down as they didn't come with labels, but based on their menu, I had to assume I enjoyed two of the following items: Tarama, Skordalia, Humus and Tzatziki. Our brunch special included a variety of shared appetizers and a main entree item. I had the SOUZOUKAKIA (Greek style meatballs). They came with a warm tomato based sauce. Those were quite delicious. The calamarakia (fried calamari) was delightful, it was very crispy without being too oily. It was not heavily salted, which was a positive for me. The ceviche was okay, not my favorite item. For drinks, we had Bellini's, mimosas, a frozen margarita, drink, and red sangria. I had the Bellini, which tasted very refreshing on summer day. I ended up ordering the chocolate chip pancakes and sausage to go home with the next day for breakfast. And it still tasted good a day later. The ambiance was overall pretty chill; we were the largest group there so it was really our group creating the atmosphere for the place. The staff graciously let us stay behind and willingly took our group photo before we left. The only negative I can say is that the girls who sat next to me had to return several of their glasses as they had stains. One glass in particular had the previous imprint of lipstick on it. The staff was pretty quick about getting them new glasses, so that was good. Overall, pretty solid experience, this was a good first time for me at a Greek restaurant. I would come back to try their dinner menu.

I think this place has the best deal for happy hour! It's $7 for a margarita or sangria and it's buy two get one free! It also goes until 7pm on Friday too! If the weather's nice, I highly recommend sitting outside in their outdoor seating! It's decorated well and kind of isolated from the Main Street too. I recommend coming with a group of people so that you have the option to do family style and get a bunch of dishes to try! This place is definitely on the more expensive side so I'd keep that in mind. I will definitely come back for happy hour!

This place is really pretty. Really good for brunch and affordable. I made it even more affordable by using the pulse app. The waffles and bacon were pretty good. The home fries were not the service was pretty good as well. The drinks were plentiful.

This place is great! Awesome service, cute decor, yummy food! We opted for the unlimited mimosa brunch and it did not disappoint. I had the Greek salad with chicken and the bf had a chicken quesadilla. Both were very tasty and portions were perfect. Salad was super fresh and the dressing was light and flavorful. Mimosas were strong and they weren't stingy! Def give this place a shot if you're into Mediterranean cuisine. Lots of options on the menu. Great location too and fun people watching if you snag a window seat. Our waiter was friendly and attentive too!

Great Greek food and it's always disappointing to not see it as busy as I know it can be. Service is also pretty good as well.

The three of us just feasted under the twinkling lights at Meze Mazi. Fresh beautifully seasoned Greek and Mediterranean food. We were served by one of the owners who had made the delicious appetizers herself and was warm and gracious.

Came in on a rainy Sunday. Had reservations but seems there's no need because there was just 2 other people dining at that time. Sat down and waiter was quick to take our order. We decided to do the brunch deal they had - entrees and bottomless drinks for 1.5 hours. Got the octopus for an appetizer and although it was delicious, it certainly wasn't worth the $26 price tag. The quality and portion can easily be found in any other Greek restaurant for under $20. The main dishes came out quick. Burger was alright. Although I couldn't really taste the truffle mayonnaise they claimed to put in there. Fries were delicious (could've also been cause I was starving). Now. The "baklava" pancakes. I normally don't eat sweets but love baklava so ordered these. They're supposed to have 3 kinds of nuts and biting into them, I tasted nothing. It was like regular pancakes out of a box. I flagged the waiter down- he came back with some walnuts... I asked what about the other 2? He said oh yeah sorry we're sold out. Something should've been mentioned when he took our order. After that, he never once checked on us. Other servers and bartender were just chatting amongst themselves and watching the tv, We constantly had to flag them down for more drinks. And the last drink I got, I was rudely told just fyi that's it. There's Definitely better way of telling someone when it's the last call... Place has potential but...... don't bother. Also, the "gratuity" is included So the staff know they don't have to do much.

We used the Pulsd coupon and these guys did not disappoint. I wasn't expecting a margarita to be THIS good at a Greek place, but whoa they did it. The Frozen regular one is perfect for a hot summer day. The food was very fresh and had a little flair. Plus we were able to order Iced Coffee with the margaritas - and the coffee was VERY caffeinated. YUM. We both LOVED our dishes and hope to be back soon. Just make sure to make a reservation.

Came for brunch using the pulsd deal on a Sunday. The food was just ok. The service on the other hand was not good for a place that looked so nice. There were only 2 other tables at the time we were there and the server we had was just in the back chatting and not paying attention. However, the worst part is that the waiter decided to rip themselves over 20% without my consent. They gave me the reciept to pay with just the tax amount (after paying used the pulsd app), I handed my card to pay and once they came back with the reciept, the total became 3x the original amount. Definitely watch out for their scams.

Nice blue toned decor except for 2 TV screens behind bar. We had a Pulse deal that included appetizer/small plate, 2 entrees, dessert & 4 glasses wine/beer/cocktail. Grilled octopus to start, whole branzino, mixed grill, dessert, & 2 glasses wine each. Everything was delicious. We also ordered a side of broccoli that we were overcharged for @ $14, on menu $9. They also added $36 tip to the check. Service was a bit laid back.

Meze Mazi...Fabulous! I had dinner last night with my boyfriend in this lovely restaurant on the corner of 31st and Third. I had salmon with a side of asparagus and a salad. I've had grilled salmon in many restaurants but this was so well seasoned so that I savored every bite. Even the asparagus was flavorful. I also had the Roka salad made with arugula, cucumber, tomatoes, black olives, avocado and shavings of ricotta dressed perfectly. It was served with warm pita that was deliciously seasoned. Tony made sure that we were well taken care of and brought us a Greek dessert that was really special. It had crispy, thin layers of pastry over a custard delicately seasoned with orange honey. Just amazing! One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Will be back to try some of their other appetizers and entrees.

The food was excellent, while the service was far from it. For appetizers we had the 4 dips, mussels in tomato broth and dolmades. The dips were super flavorful, except the hummus (which was bland). The mussels were small, but the broth and feta were excellent. The lamb in the skewers dish was tender and flavorful. The service was slow and he was forgetful. He checked on us once during the meal, but then disappeared and we sat and sat waiting to leave. He finally brought the check, then he never came back for us to pay it. We got up and went to the bar to pay the bill. The host took our credit cards. I could see our server standing in the back of house playing chess with someone. There were only 3 tables total and the server couldn't be bothered to do his job.

Nice ambiance, delicious food! Their Greek Salad is so fresh and their lemon potatoes are amazing! Only recently we realized it was a new place and have eaten and taken out several times already. Definitely good Mediterranean food in the neighborhood. Give it a try :)

As a Greek American, I'm always checking out the Greek restaurants in the city. My goal is to be exposed to new and creative treatments of favorite dishes, as well as to receive a plate of Greek comfort food, similar to my mother's cooking. Meze Mazi delivers both. My friends and I decided to experience the cuisine of MM, and it was truly the right choice. Our appetizers were fresh and tasty. Our entrees were healthy indulgences of palette pleasing dishes that would make your Yiayia smile. The serving portion was plentiful and served at the correct temperature. Our server was gracious with a sense of humor, and was very attentive to our hungry quartet. Her recommendations were great choices, although we all agreed to go back soon, to sample some of the other delicacies that were being offered. She was a true pro who was pleasant and cordial. For dessert, we decided to ignore how full we each were by asking for one order of baklava pancakes. TDF. It was a sweet ending to an absolutely lovely meal, which sometimes can be a hit or miss experience in the city we all love. You must give them a try. I got food poisoning from their chicken cubes and had to leave the party early. Cute ambiance upstairs and staff were nice. The food was good, minus getting sick. The starters were great.

I usually write a long review on this app but for this one I'm just going to say that, if you are thinking of going here, go! My friends and I visited this restaurant for brunch and they checked all the boxes that you want in a a good brunch. The drinks was good, food was good, service was good and environment was good. Everything about this place is great don't hesitate and go!

Oriana was an amazing server to my fiancé and I. We came in on a Saturday night for food and drinks which was both equally AMAZJNG! We had a great time and Oriana ensured that everything gm was going well through the night with constant check ins. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends looking forward to trying brunch at this venue.

Was in the neighborhood getting some groceries with my homegirl and we saw the prefixed lunch menu for $29 and for an additional $11 you can get unlimited wine. Boy oh boy that was a great decision. First off I'm not a fan of eggplant but that was by far the best babaganosh I've ever had, the entire pikilia platter was soo good, even the pita. The server who's name was Marco I believe was great, he kept the wine coming. The vibe was nice and the bar counter was really cute. He mentioned that they have brunch, I'll definitely be back to try that. I highly recommend this place.

Another dynamite addition from John & Archie of Skinos fame! Two great guys, and another great restaurant. The fish is incredible; flow in from Greece believe it or not! If you like meats, you will love their rib eye that is cooked to perfection. Wines by the glass are abundant and very well priced. They have a beautiful outdoor area too, which is perfect for summer. If you like the flavors of the Mediterranean, you will absolutely love Meza Mazi!

Such a great new spot in the area. Meatballs, shrimp with tomato sauce, beets, and falafel croquettes were all very very good. They also have done a fantastic job with the outdoor seating area. Perfect outdoor ambience. Highly recommend.

Came here for lunch yesterday with my mom. All the food was absolutely delicious and our server Toni was the best!! Highly recommend the feta/sesame rolls and the side of lemon potatoes was fantastic too. Restaurant is also beautiful inside and out. We will definitely be back!!

The food was excellent. I purchased through pulsed app and the service and decor was great. Side note: I ordered the brunch from pulsed app. For bottomless mimosas or drinks you have to pay extra. But it was a Great restaurant .

Horrible service, we walked in with a pulsd deal, we always tip 20% on original price when we do a pulsd, but the server here did NOT deserve it. Dry tasteless food, chicken was awful. The server literally ignored us, I could not get my water glass filled or ask for ketchup for the fries! He wouldn't help us at all. Then he added the 20% tip himself, without even handing us the check, as if he'd earned it, DO NOT RECOMMEND, AVOID THIS PLACE. TOTAL SCAM, GROSS FOOD HORRENDOUS SERVICE.

We had a nice brunch here. It is located in what seemed to be a quiet (for NYC) neighborhood (Murray Hill?) on 3rd and 31st. We walked in and greeted nicely by the bartender Juan who also ended up being our server, and he was great throughout. It was pretty empty this Saturday morning but he says it gets packed at around noon. The place is pretty, we sat indoors but in the outer section along the floor to ceiling windows, next to the back of the bar with wine and spirits lined up, with bright floral decor up to the ceilings, for the Greek theme. Brunch was $20 and I had a nice spicy bloody mary which was garnished with jalapenos, and a very good "new greek"omelet which was prepared in a small skillet, and came with a side of home fries and toast. It was all very good. My wife had the avocado toast which she said was ok but the avocado didn't appear fresh, was kind of brown. But overall we liked the area, the look and feel of the place, the service, and I liked my food, and would come back.

this place is very ok. i went because we had a pulsd voucher. the server was overcharging us with our final receipt despite showing him the voucher, and we had to explain it to him and then a different person (manager?) came out and redid our receipt and brought it over, but that was messed up too (also overcharged). i felt like the manager knew what he was doing and hoped we were too tipsy (from the bottomless drinks lol) to realize differently, but i did and he happily corrected it a third time lol. the food was entirely okay, nothing memorable about it (i dont even remember what we ordered). they were strict about bottomless (everyone had to drink the same thing per round and nothing new until everyone else finished their round). we went on a saturday for brunch and the place was EMPTY. cute decor. i wouldn't go back tbh

The food was not good. We came for brunch and had ordered three different things and they were all very bland and disappointing. Our table ordered the Huevos Rancheros, the Baklava Pancakes, and the Salmon Benedict. Even with Salt and Pepper and Hot Sauce, it was not edible. My friend who ordered the Salmon Benedict found a hair in her potatoes as soon as it was set on the table. We didn't say anything though, she just threw the potato away. Its a very cute space, but I had to get up from my chair twice to get the waiter's attention who was in the back each time and there was only about 5-6 tables of people there. It was very empty for a saturday brunch.

UPDATE: it's been one month and THEY NEVER REFUNDED ME THE INCORRECT CHARGE. THIS RESTAURANT IS LITERALLY A FCKING SCAM!!! terrible service. they charged me the wrong amount and pretended to refund (and refused to give us a refund receipt) and the refund payment never came through!!! the server was also speaking to us in a very negative tone. do not come here, this place is a scam and the food was very average. overpriced af We used pulsd voucher for bottomless brunch. And I see that other people in the reviews had similar experience of being overcharged!! The manager definitely was hoping that we were all too tipsy to realize what was going on. Please do not support this type of business!!!!!!!

Very cute inside and outside seating. The place was pretty empty on a Saturday night but not for good reason. The food was great, especially the zucchini appetizer. No ice bucket for wine was provided and they were out of the entree we originally ordered but other than that overall a really good meal worth a try for sure

Brunch service couldn't have been slower. It was nearly empty and I saw one group after another walk out because it took so long for someone to take their order. Such a shame because the food isn't bad and the place is adorable.

Delicious food and great service! Stopped here for a work lunch and everyone enjoyed - and they gave us drinks on the house as I think they were a fairly new business and had just opened when we went!

Great prices and fair amount of food for the price. The Mediterranean French fries are 100% better than the home fries so if you go for brunch ask this as a substitute.

I give this place a 0 (zero) star rating. Went to this establishment for an Easter Sunday brunch with friends hoping to enjoy the holiday. Unfortunately, this simply did not happen. Staff was absolutely unprofessional. Our orders were wrong, our reservations were not honored, the bathrooms were not serviced and our waiter was verbally abusive. He became quite aggressive after we brought to his attention that there was a mistake with our orders. When we asked him for a manager we were told that there was no manager and he was in charge. At that point, my friends and I were no longer comfortable at the establishment. We paid our check in full and left prior to our 90 minutes of bottomless drinks ending. I do not recommend patronizing this restaurant under ANY circumstances.

George and Marcos gave our group SUCH great care for the bottomless drinks and breakfast! The ambiance was stunning with great views of the city and the indoor decor! The cannoli French toast was TO DIE FOR!! Please come here, 10/10 would recommend!

One of the best Greek restaurants I have been to. We loved everything we ordered. Iman (stuffed eggplant) was a delicious appetizer. You would think that a red and yellow beet salad would be boring. Nope. It was so tasty with the goat cheese and the vinaigrette. The seafood orzo (aka Greek Paella) was was better than any paella I've had before. And of course you can't go wrong with the chicken and vegetable kebob that my friend ordered. The interior of the restaurant is so pretty. And the outdoor dining shed will be great when the weather warms up. This restaurant is a winner!

Delicious food, outstanding service, very friendly, beautiful outdoor setting with cute vines. Had 4 small plates and all were so good - grilled shrimp, gigante beans, stuffed eggplant, grilled vegetables. Pretty presentations, generous portions. Excellent wine. What a great addition to the neighborhood!

Extremely slow restaurant. Owner to be improve kitchen . There are not enough workers inside the kitchen. Single item took 40 minutes. Can't recommend here for weekends
