We had the opportunity to try Mezzaluna on a recent trip to Fargo and it easily claimed a spot at the top of our list of favourites. We loved the food and cocktails, but the service put it over the top for us. Can't wait to return!

Delicious food served in a very standard American ambiance. My old fashioned was great and the wagyu steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly. They have a speakeasy that serves fancy cocktails. Just got to find where it is!

The food was excellent here! I especially enjoyed the fries with chili flakes! Had to be the most unique and best french fries I have ever had! I had the cabbage special for my dinner and it was superb! The service is outstanding here. My drink was always full. I would skip the dessert. Opt for coffee and or something safe like ice cream.

Google
Came here for date night and was not dissapointed. Our server was very attentive proactively refilling drinks and replacing used silverware between courses. The shrimp and grits were incredible. Probably a highlight of the meal for me. All of the flavors paired perfectly. I got the smash burger and their patty was great and the burger sauce added a great taste. The truffle fries were great as well with a taste of citrus. My wife got the steak, which she loved, but she couldn't stop talking about the mashed potatoes. We will be back.

Great wait staff. Helped with selection of drinks & meal. Being a picky earlier, I had no issues going out of my comfort zone & enjoying the custom 4 option dinner selection.

I went for my birthday dinner, the first visit to Mezzaluna and it was an amazing experience. Everything from food to hospitality to ambiance was amazing and the birthday dessert was top notch!

Fresh delicious food, huge portions, stellar service. This place knocked it out of the park. Our waitress Audra was so kind, funny, and attentive. Every once in a while we would get a little sprinkle of a waiter with a man bun who would sweep our crumbs off our table. ;) My daughter and I ordered off their tasting menu and were so surprised at how large and delicious the portions were! Everything was absolutely fabulous and we cannot wait to come back the next time we visit Fargo.

The food was wonderful, our service was great, and they accommodated our short notice reservation and were able to get flowers on the table for our anniversary. The steak was phenomenal, the duck was good as well. Don't ignore the reviews to try the soup because it was definitely worth it!

Yelp
I stayed the weekend in Fargo and was looking for a special place to have dinner with my sweetheart - found Mezzaluna and it looked like a very nice, high-end restaurant with an great selection. Calling ahead a couple of days to make a reservation I asked if they could have a bouquet of flowers on the table when I got there. The host delivered - when we arrived, the host recognized me from when I called and took us to the table and there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for us. Can't say enough about this type of service. The food and drink choices were all excellent. For dinner, you can order off the menu, normal courses, or order a special 3- or 4-course menu together as two. We decided to order separately and not the 3- or 4-course meal. The salads we ordered were excellent - the dinners we had were amazing, taste, presentation and portions were spot on. At this point, we were full - but we ordered two separate desserts which they packed up for us. As we were leaving they took the nice bouquet and placed it in the original package from the florist so we could take it with us. Definitely a place I'll go back next time I'm in Fargo. Sorry I didn't take pictures.

Yelp
In Fargo for an overnight and Mezzaluna came highly recommended! For the most part it lived up to the hype. Ambiance was great, romantic and fun. The waitress did a wonderful job and was friendly to talk to. We had the following things: seared sea scallops - scallops were VERY tender and delicious. The colors on the plate were vibrant and incredible. My husband loved the romesco sauce - I wasn't as much of a fan. shrimp and grits - WOW. Would 100% go back for this. The grits were seasoned extremely well, shrimp was tender. Very flavorful dish. wagyu zabuton - YUM. Cooked perfectly. The crust on the steak was great and so tender. Sauce was wonderful and flavorful. Will definitely get this again. salmon - This was the server's recommendation and unfortunately the sauce was the exact same as the scallops, which made it a bit redundant. This was the most disappointing dish. The parsnips were overcooked and limp. roasted beets - These came cold and were delicious. There were a LOT of beets. Way too many for 2 people, but this would be a great dish to share with others. earl grey panna cotta - YUM. I don't know how they get the earl grey flavor but it was perfect. I thought there was a bit too much whipped cream and I would have loved a citrus element! Would definitely go back and would recommend it as a very fancy date in Fargo!

Yelp
I went to Mezzaluna this past Saturday night with some girlfriends. The host was super friendly and recommended we stop by the Drawing Room (speakeasy) attached to the restaurant during our wait. He came down to get us in person when a table opened, which felt so personal and kind! Once seated, we ordered both our apps and entrees at the same time and the waitress said she would course them out for us. We started with the burrata as well as the crispy brussel sprouts. Both were SO GOOD! The burrata had a sweet sauce with it. The brussels were crispy and flavorful and some of the best we had all had! Our experience went a bit downhill after the apps. It took around an hour for our main dishes to come out after the apps were served, and there was no communication or acknowledgement from the waitress about the delay. They did bring out a little palate cleanser (apple cinnamon sorbet) about 30 min between apps and mains. Once the food finally arrived, we were sort of not even hungry anymore. I did think the chicken entree was super good, especially the potato purée! The lemon pepper fries with the burger were a hit and the burger was cooked well. The walleye and wild rice was also a good pick. So all in all, we did enjoy the food but the restaurant needs to work on timing and communication.

Yelp
We heard nothing but great things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's beautiful inside! Very elegant and modern. I had the sweet potato gnocchi and it was delicious! My husband loved the Wagu zabuton and my friend also enjoyed the smash burger. You should definitely order the beef tartar as an appetizer! They also gave us an intermezzo between our appetizer. We sat at a bar table without a reservation on a Thursday night. It started to fill up later on so I would suggest a reservation. Service was spot on from start to finish. If you go to the bathroom downstairs check out the storage room!

Yelp
I went on New Years Eve for their special 7 course menu. It's one star and the main two reasons are: 1) The "butter poached lobster" was mushy. This means it was not fresh and going bad 2) "Wagyu Zabuton" was absolutely not Wagyu. It was as chewy as hanger steak I could go into more detail but it was such an embarrassing way to spend NYE and over $300 (I ordered scallops and baked brie a la carte as well) and enough of my time and money has already been wasted. Will not ever dine here again, and no amount of ambiance or good service (which neither were great or worthy of mention regardless) could make up for having soggy food and falsely advertising.

Yelp
Top notch restaurant in the Fargo/Moorhead area. Continental menu with imagination. If you want a special treat, sit at the bar and order your drinks and dinner. You'll be located in the center of the room with some of the best service offered anywhere. A restaurant that still takes great pride in staff training and service.

Yelp
Better variety elsewhere.... I THINK NOT!!! I think I need to just say great service and ambiance, classy - SPECIALS, AND AGAIN, THEIR SERVERS-- you could NOT ask for more!! And, I say again ... VARIETY!!! YUM! :D

Yelp
Mezzaluna is consistently great since it opened. The space has also been great since it was Silver Moon Super Club. I don't really know why I haven't wrote a review until now, mostly because it should be clear by now how good this place is to everyone. Tonight though I was inspired to write a review finally because of the great service. Nicole (sp?) was great and made the whole experience even better. We started our meal with the Elote Salad which was very tasty and had a great kick to it. We had the burger and truffle fries which were great. We also had the pork ballotine which was tasty but could probably use a bit more spice to complete the Thai feel of the dish. It was just missing a little kick in my wife and I's opinion. If you are questioning going here just do it.

Yelp
Incredible dinner at Mezzaluna tonight. Our hipster server was beyond awesome - I wish I could remember his name! We did the four course tasting menu. Our favorite dishes were the mushroom second course and the flourless chocolate cake dessert. We'd definitely come back here if we visit Fargo again!

Yelp
The ambiance was excellent, I love their crystal chandelier. We started with their scallops, which were insane. This is a MUST ORDER appetizer. So delicious! We had the wagyu denver steak. The potato puree it came with was amazing. The flavor of the wagyu steak was excellent but the meat was a little tough, which was disappointing. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake and the matcha-lemongrass creme brulee. Both were delicious! I love matcha and creme brulee so I was the combination made me very pleased. I still dream about it.

Yelp
I was in town for the marathon, and I wanted a good steak and nice environment to relax after a long day. Living in Houston, I have a sense of the expectation of grabbing a solid steak at 7pm at the bar. Unfortunately, I sat at the bar when there were a bunch of guys sitting at the bar just drinking, and the bartender was accommodating to just them. It was quite the "bro" fest, and I felt like I was more at a frat party than a high end restaurant. Maybe my expectations were too high. My waitress was solid, but the overall feel at the bar was less than what I would expect at this type of restaurant. When I spoke to the manager, the response was, "oh, it was too much", referring to the bro vibe at the bar. I will not be back, and so it might not matter, but it was a missed opportunity for this place to be better.

Yelp
Perfect, love this restaurant for special occasions, too! Food and service is always good and a calm atmosphere.

Yelp
Since it is my fiance and i's tradition to try the most fanciest restaurant in each state, i discovered Mezzaluna as the fanciest restaurant in Fargo, ND. When making a reservation through their site, depending on the number of people you bring along, you can only book a certain time. You dont need to book so much ahead of time, unless there is a specific time you are looking for. You can book the day before even when booking for a Saturday night. For up to 4 people, you can pick any time between 5 pm to 8:45 pm. For more than 4 people, you can only pick 8:30 pm or 8:45 pm. Due to this we sadly had one decide to opt out and have 4 of us rather than 5. Its interesting because in those booths, we surely can fit more than 4 people or just have 3 in the booth and then two in the seats in front of us. For drinks, we ordered mai tais, a palisades, and margaritas. The margarita for the night had a raspberry taste and you couldnt taste much of the tequila. The palisades was my favorite. You can taste a bit of vodka but the cucumber taste made it a bit sour to my liking. The mai tais were strong in alcohol. If you didnt mix the drink around, you wouldnt have much taste to it. For main entree, my fiance and I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Bison Meatloaf. Having Bison for the first time, I can say it tastes like a meatball, but much more of a different meatier taste. My fiance says it reminds him of a turkey meatball, but with a tangier better taste. My uncle in law ordered the Halibut, which he noted was a nice smooth taste. Not dry at all. My aunt in law ordered the Mezz Burger. She loved the many options to choose from for fries (rosemary, truffle, garlic, and regular). She chose the rosemary, but didnt like all the extra salt added. The burger tasted juicy but noted she would rather have the Halibut next time. I recommend the Bison if you have never tried it before. If you have before, I recommend the Halibut with a nice taste. For dessert, we had chocolate cake with pistachios. I'm a huge fan of that nut... so a good mix with some good rich chocolate was satisfying. My fiance, uncle in law, and I had most of the cake. My aunt in law didnt like how sweet it was so she was only able to take a few bites. Overall, we all said we would come back here again. We even found a future date night for his uncle and aunt.

Yelp
This is my favorite dining in Fargo. I order a variety of items each time I eat there, which is once or twice a month. A lovely atmosphere for meeting up with friends. Each item is prepared to near perfection, every time. So many wonderful flavors on every plate. Such warm and efficient service. And the drinks......yum.

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Fargo. Such amazing food and excellent service. And the prices are totally reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Mezzaluna is a casual fine dinning experience. This is a place you would want to take a date to for a relaxing warm atmosphere to dine at. The food is wonderful here. The menu changes from time to time like any good restaurant would, so check their website to see if they have would you may like for that evening.. Service is first class & the food crafted excellent. A can't miss visit in Fargo.

Mary H.

Yelp
Whenever I visit from California, I always come back to Mezzaluna. Everything is perfect, wait staff is acutely knowledgeable about each dish's ingredients and how each dish is executed. It's pretty impressive stuff. Mezzaluna, in my option, has the best dirty martini, I won't even order one anywhere else. And so happy to see The Last Word on their drink menu. That cocktail is a bit hard to find.

Yelp
Let me start by saying if you don't know to look at Yelp first when you're going to a new city, you really should. My first trip to Fargo commenced yesterday and seeing that Mezzaluna was the #1 rated restaurant by Yelp, I made a reservation for dinner here shortly after arriving in Fargo. First impression is that it's got a great vibe. It's in an older building on the main level and has tall ceilings, lots of dark wood accents and some really cool light fixtures that appear to be made out of wine glasses. This has nothing to do with the food, but it's a very welcoming atmosphere and despite the place being full, it was easy to carry on a conversation at our table. So even before any food was served, I was already appreciating the path Yelp had put us on. Service was friendly and attentive. Not pushy, yet our server was knowledgeable about the menu and checked in on us appropriately throughout the meal. We were given a serving of rolls with our starter salads that I assume are made there. A simple but nice touch. We all started with the butter lettuce and frisee salad, topped with apples, blueberries and toasted pepitas. This was a perfect starter. Fresh and flavorful but not too much, yet a good sized portion at the same time. I went with the special, which was a cornmeal crusted striped bass on a bed of dirty rice with blistered tomatoes and an avocado crema. My wife had the seared walleye and my daughter had the duck breast. All three of us were very happy with our entree selections and had no trouble finishing them. We enjoyed our meals with a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel, which was reasonably priced. Wine selection is modest but sufficient and prices were reasonable. While sufficiently satiated from our meal, we elected to split a dessert, which was a piece of flourless chocolate cake topped with a salted caramel sauce. First impression was that it looked like it was on the small side but this was so rich that we could barely finish it despite three of us attacking it with our forks. It proved a perfect ending to an incredible meal. My first night in Fargo will be fondly remembered thanks to this excellent dining experience.

John R.

Yelp
This was one of the best meals I've had. The menu is small, and I'm not too adventurous when it comes to food. That said, this place, which is located in downtown Fargo, is elegant, with a friendly wait staff, and chef(s) who seriously know what they are doing. I went with a shrimp fettuccine. Hands down the best I've ever had, and unlike any I've had before. I couldn't explain the flavors of this dish, but it was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend this place if you find yourself nearby.

Yelp
Amazing dinner. Myself and my wife travelled from Bismarck for a weekend away to celebrate our 5 year anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to dine. Food was amazing. Drinks were great. A special mention to our waiter Nathan - friendly, attentive, knowledgeable... made our evening even better. Can't wait to be back.

Dennis G.

Yelp
Quality food and great service, but what would you expect from a high-end dining experience? The dining surroundings are rustic to some degree. But, comfortable and cozy for that special date or anniversary. My bride and I celebrated 59 years of marriage at this exquisite restaurant. Thanks to the staff for making our experience one we will not forget.
google avatar

Roger Y.

Yelp
Gone are the scallop booths replaced by high back booths which can seat more people. Menu remains the same. The pork belly roulade is wonderful. The red cabbage is soft but yet still has a body and not overly sour. The butter cup lettuce salad is a bit bland for my taste however. Rolls instead of crusty baguette remind me of Thanksgiving just days away. I wish they had small servings of pasta as one of the courses instead of only main dish portions.

Yelp
After moving back to Fargo a year ago, I have heard multiple times how amazing Mezzaluna is for a fine dining experience. My great friend and coworker, along with her fiance figured we would like to make reservations here so that I could finally try it. They had been before and reported that the food was amazing, and they couldn't have been more correct. We got there for our 7:15 p.m. reservation on time and were greeted and seated immediately. The host and waiters were extremely kind and made us feel very welcome from the start. They also were very attentive to us without making us feel overwhelmed. We started with the meat and cheese plate and the fingerling potatoes. Simply put, it was a delicious, opening overture to our meal there along with beautifully crafted libations. We finished those and out came our mains that were timed perfectly as not to rush us with our starters, nor keep us waiting for our dinner. My friend ordered the vegan meal which was a panache of rice and herbed tofu, which she enjoyed. Her fiance ordered the wagyu steak. He requested it medium-rare and it was indeed cooked to perfection. Through a friend a while back, I heard about the roasted duck breast and how she tried it at Mezzaluna and devoured it. So, I ordered the roasted duck breast and was not in the least disappointed. The umami of the duck breast paired with the spiced carrot, kale, and bacon was simply out of this world. We all were extremely satisfied with our mains. Next was dessert. Typically I do not order dessert, but I made an exception during this dinner. I got a scoop of the simple vanilla ice cream which, for me, was the perfect yet simple finale to this great meal. My friend ordered the vegan chai creme brulee, and her fiance ordered the citrus-lavender creme brulee. They both loved their desserts and we sat and chatted for quite some time after our meals. Simply put, Mezzaluna surely is one of Fargo's finest jewels in the crown. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is chic, all while being welcoming, and the food and drinks are simply some of the best the FM Area has to offer. I eagerly look forward to my return.

Yelp
Great service, great food. Highly Recommend. I was here on business by myself and ate at the bar. I had the shrimp fettuccine. Outstanding! Coming from Chicago I loved it. Thank you !

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here. The staff was so nice and welcoming. Nice ambience, food was delicious. Had the bolognese and pea risotto. The old fashioned drink has a M stamp on the ice cube on your first drink. A unique little detail.

Yelp
Fantastic food with a lovely elegant ambiance. Service was great despite being completely full. Sat in bar area for dinner - fantastic. Bathrooms were far away.

Yelp
A really really good burger!! Burger Royale lived up to is name. Great attention to detail, house made dill pickles were incredible, tomato jam, French onion dip, bacon to die for, brioche bun, ......just really works! Served with fries which were decent and a cold beer, it doesn't get much better. Gets my vote!

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely LOVED our experience at Mezzaluna! If we ever come back to Fargo, we will come back! We got there a little early, so our table wasn't quite ready but we were able to grab a couple seats at the bar. We didn't have to wait long, and our table was ready before my drink was, so they brought it to me at our table. We each had an old fashioned that were delicious! My husband ordered the scallops as an appetizer and loved them so much he finished them before I got a picture! For dinner, he for the duck, and I got the filet. Both were excellent. Not sure why we'd be back in Fargo again, but if we are we will be here!

Yelp
Mezzaluna was a fantastic choice to celebrate a friends birthday! While the prices are definitely fine dining prices, everything was worth every penny. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac disease and even has a dedicated fryer for the fries. Will definitely be coming back again!

Yelp
A lovely dining experience. Amazing vegan food and friendly kind staff. Will definitely return!!!

Yelp
This review is only for the happy hour (in the "Alleyway Bar")...and what a happy hour it was. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that many would not expect much from a restaurant in such a small, isolated town in North Dakota, but as it turns out, Mezzaluna delivers tasty high quality dishes that are on par with highly respected restaurants in much larger cities. If you are passing through Fargo, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. Here's what we loved about our experience: 1) The drinks: we had an assortment of cocktails, and while I totally forgot the names of any of them (which is ok, because the happy hour drinks seem to change frequently), they were all really, really good. At around $7 each, they were also a great value. 2) The food: everything we had was amazing. I will start out with the "bruschetta," which should really be labeled as a charcuterie plate, as that's how it's presented (quite few different meats and assorted roasted/picked veggies, plus some bread)...whatever it's called on the menu, it's absolutely amazing. We also really enjoyed the walleye tacos (also super yummy), the seared tuna (a smaller dish but also really tasty), and the happy hour burger + sweet potato tots (absolutely HUGE for $7.50). 3) The service: very attentive without being overbearing. Food and drinks came super quickly. 4) The atmosphere: really nice (a great place for a date...and be sure to dress up at least in business casual attire to fit in) and comfy. 5) The prices: I don't even think our entire bill came to $60 with tax and tip, which we were absolutely floored about considering we walked out super full, a bit tipsy, and really happy. All in all, a great value. Happy hour is 5-6pm Tuesday-Saturday (yes, it's Friday and Saturday too!). Give it a try!

Yelp
Consider Mezzaluna for your last meal, ever... or a celebration meal, no matter what, this meal is the alpha and omega of meals as everything else after Mezzaluna will be a dull assault to your pallet. I was in town for a girls' weekend, and my best friend had this place on her list of "must do" while I was in town. The location is on a side street of the down/town main street area. Though not "hidden" Mezzaluna sorta pops up on you as you walk by, allowing patrons to feel as if they have discovered a secret. In a repurposed building, that looks to have been some sort of business building (maybe a bank or something) the giant side window allows a voyeuristic peek into the kitchen. Down a corridor, the double doors open welcomingly to the host stand, and bar. The bar area is an homage to art deco. The whole place exudes a 1920s meets speakeasy vibe. Elaborate blown glass halos the bar, high four tops flank one side, beyond lies a larger dining area, as the other side is flanked by steps leading to a more intimate dining area. We were seated in the semi private smaller dining area, which gave us an elevated view of the bar and dining area. The service was top notch during our meal. Starters: a wonderful play on pierogi, the fried dough and filling were paired with a side of pork belly and sunny side up egg. Mixing the sauce with the egg and pork juice with the fried pierogi, heavenly, and the only way to avoid licking the plate (which is really what I wanted to do). Curried cauliflower: earthy cauliflower spiced up with curry. Warming and healthy. Cheese board: Presentation was spot on. Three cheeses with differing personalities served along side nuts, caper berries, fruit, bread, dried fruit all supported by a bed of green lentils. The lentils were surprising and quite tasty. Carbonara with chanterelles: A Chef creation. All other Cabonara's need not apply. A velvety sauce caressed the pasta, while meaty chanterelles playfully peaked though, delighting the eyes and tastebuds. I am forever ruined for all other Carbonaras. Strawberry rhubarb tart with a rose ice finishing off our meal. Tart and tangy, on a bead of pastry cream. The rose ice, cool and bright, cleans the pallet between each bite. We enjoyed our meal with beer and an old fashioned. It was a perfect meal.

Yelp
Wow! Very impressive. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the dish that I ordered and it was a little too sweet for me when it came. The management caught word of it and came over to comp the meal for me and offered me a different one. That was very kind of them to do. All of the food that everyone ordered was absolutely delicious. Top-notch place, very classy.

Yelp
Food and service excellent! Reasonable prices and drinks for fine dining experience

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in Fargo. I save it for special events. The menu is interesting and unique. The flavor profiles are tantalizing and will excite your palate. The food is visually pleasing. The service is always excellent, and that have a corkage fee so you can bring your own wine. They also have a great selection of their own wine as well. Great location for Date night with your spouse.

Yelp
Beautiful spot with a gorgeous dining room suitable for a very fancy dinner. However, I recommend eating at the bar for a great local experience. Even if you don't drink alcohol, the conversation around the horseshoe is always great, both with the bartenders (best in the business) and the other patrons (nicest folks you'll ever meet). The food is excellent, service is the best I've had anywhere, and desserts are out of this world...although I wish they'd bring back the grapefruit creme brûlée. This is a Fargo gem!!

Caitlyn P.

Yelp
Amazing food, romantic atmosphere. 5/5 definitely recommend. Highly recommend making a reservation if you plan on going during the weekend, as it fills up fast!

Yelp
The food was extremely delicious here. The burrata for appetizer is a must. The pastas were all really good. I didn't enjoy the salad too much, it def need more dressing but the timing of how they brought out food was just right. The service and staff was very good. Def recommend!

Yelp
I booked a reservation online which was an easy process. They had a section to write if you were celebrating an event which I thought was a nice touch. When we presented to the restaurant they made it a point to acknowledge our anniversary and even provided a complimentary dessert at the end of our supper which was not expected but made it a little more special (& was delicious). Overall great experience!

Yelp
I've been going to Mezzaluna for almost a year now, and consider myself a semi-regular. The staff is so friendly, considerate, and attentive. The atmosphere is fancy but doesn't require formal clothing or anything. The food is great, though as a vegan, there are limited options. Just recently they added a few designated vegan items to the menu: the brussels sprouts and spinach-mushroom Wellington are fantastic. Sweet potato fries are also delicious. And they have fun, constantly-rotating cocktails. Pro-tip: if you're going for drinks, wait til 9pm. That's when their happy hour starts -- you get half-priced apps, discounted wine, and one of their draft beers goes down to $3 a glass.

Yelp
I had the shrimp fettuccine and a couple of Masons old fashions. The fettuccine was delicious, however the old fashion was one of the top 5 I've ever had. And that's huge props to Mason, the bartender. Mason was great and I'll definitely be back next time I find myself in Fargo, North Dakota. Get the old fashion, it truly was amazing.

Yelp
I love the roarin 20's feel of this restaurant, the oversized booths, the pressed tin ceiling all adds to the ambiance. Our server Torrey (sp?) was great, she talked us through the menu, made suggestions without being pushy, was always on top of drinks, and checked in enough but not too much! I ordered the steak while my husband got the bison meatloaf. Both were phenomenal! The steak was so good my husband teased me for doing my happy food dance, I have no shame, it was THAT GOOD! We will be back!

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in Fargo. The staff is fantastic and welcoming. Wonderful food, great choice of appetizers. The bartenders make extraordinary drinks. We love the bar area and the vibe. Great for a quick bite or to celebrate a special occasion.

Yelp
For a fancy place that seems to only really care to charge high prices so that it seems like what you're getting is better than it really is. Very small portions at high prices. I would much rather eat a steam at Texas roadhouse.

Yelp
Mezzaluna is probably the nicest/priciest fine dining restaurant in the fargo area, and people do have high expectations when going. Ive gone a fee times and will confirm that the food is very good, although some dishes are smaller than you'd think. The menu is varied, with lots of options for all tastes. We've had the rack of lamb, the glazed salmon, bison meatloaf and beef sirloin with shrimps which were all really tasty. Servers are very knowledgeable and will make sure you have a good experience. However, note that it gets busy, and during rush hours on weekend it will take a while to get your food (sometimes over an hour) and it will come out barely warm. Id suggest going during the week to avoid having to send your plate back. It's worth trying for sure, just make sure to go at a time when you'll enjoy the full great experience.
