The Best Mediterranean Restaurants In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Located on Guerrero in the Mission, Mezze and Mooore is one of the only Lebanese restaurants east of Twin Peaks. The lamb kabab plate is juicy, tender, and served with hummus and rice. If a big plate isn't quite your speed, go for the beef shawarma wrap. It's stuffed to the brim with thinly sliced meat and makes for a great to-go meal the next time you're trying to make a drinks date on Valencia. But if you're sticking around, prepare to fight for a table amongst intramural soccer teams, high schoolers out for a meal that a part-time job can subsidize, and tech workers who are recharging after a long day of moving their standing desks up and down." - ricky rodriguez, patrick wong, julia chen 1

I am a regular at Mezze and moore and always recommend it to my friends. I only took one star off because I was charged 4$ for a tiny bowl of Toum which is usually served with the plates& wraps based on my previous experience. Also, asked for black tea after food and got served green tea. Although we ordered 2 mezzes, bread wasn't served. We had to ask for it. We usually get a salad, some hot mezze and plates, but this time we went for the wraps. Love the chicken wrap; delicious and full of flavor. Not a big fan of the kofta. The meat quality was okay.

Google
Fantastic food at really reasonable prices. They didn’t serve alcohol but said we were more than welcome to bring our own wine in. We got lamb plate, lamb salad, and chicken hummus plate. The chicken hummus with a little onion on pita was a little packet of heaven, like how my ex wife must feel when she gets her alimony checks every month. The pita bread was warm and toasty, unlike my ex wife’s heart. Very solid spot!

Google
It was decent. I didn't like how firm the falafel was but Boi did I enjoy the eggplants on the falafel platter - definitely worth adding it to you platter. The House pita was.. Decent. All in all, was a good place to be. :) super friendly staff though.

Google
Mezze and Mooore – A Mediterranean Delight! Mezze and Mooore serves up delicious, high-quality Mediterranean cuisine with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The Mixed Grill Platter is a must-try, featuring juicy, well-seasoned meats with rice, hummus, and salad. The Crispy Roasted Cauliflower is perfectly caramelized, and the Stuffed Grape Leaves are packed with flavor. With great service and a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is a winner! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

Google
Not really a fan of the food here. Tried multiple items and overall they all felt too oily with a montonous flavoring. Even the dessert we tried, the kunafe was pretty one dimensional. Felt like it was just an overdose of sugar syrup and nothing else. The seating and management was also haphazard and chaotic. It was pretty much seat yourself wherever, order at the counter or via QR at table. However, this isn't clear on arrival and some patrons stand in line while others directly go seat themselves leading to different wait times and a scramble for seating during busy times. Prices are pretty reasonable which I felt is the only saving grace for us

Simply walked in to try out this place based ok Reddit recommendations, and it was a pleasant surprise We had chicken shawarma plate, chicken shawarma roll, hummus and pita. All the dishes were yum, and the ambiance was good too.

If you're searching for the best Mediterranean food in San Francisco, look no further than Mezze and Mooore. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for a perfect dining experience. The staff here go above and beyond — attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. You feel like a welcomed guest rather than just a customer. Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely phenomenal. Every dish is bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavor, prepared with care and served with elegance. The hummus is silky smooth, the lamb melts in your mouth, and the falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. You can tell that every ingredient is fresh and thoughtfully sourced. Whether you're dining in for a romantic night out or picking up takeout for a cozy meal at home, Mezze and Mooore never disappoints. This place isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a celebration of Mediterranean culture and cuisine. A true gem in the heart of San Francisco. Highly, highly recommended. You’ll be back again and again!

My experience at Mezze Moore in San Francisco was disappointing. As first-time visitors excited to try Lebanese cuisine, we were let down by the unwelcoming staff. Seated in a corner, we were ignored, with no one taking our order. When we approached a staff member, he curtly remarked that we should’ve ordered online or come up, which felt rude and unnecessary. The lack of hospitality overshadowed the food, which was average at best. We expected a warm introduction to Lebanese flavors but left feeling neglected and underwhelmed. I hope they improve their service to match the cuisine’s potential.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Reminded me of when I would go to my Lebanese friend's house back in preschool. Took me right back. Service was quick! Will be back!

Yelp
My friend recommended this spot when I was in search of a quick lunch in the Mission. I ordered the chicken shawarma online, picked up and ate at the restaurant. This was honestly one of the best chicken shawarma wraps I have ever had! The chicken was so juicy, tasty and flavorful. It was a big wrap split into 2, great portion size for the price. It also came with a chili sauce on the side. The restaurant was fairly empty but well decorated. The staff was friendly and I appreciate that I could eat there even though I ordered takeout :) 100% will be back next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Mezze and Moore is a relatively newer spot I wanted to check out in the Mission; the interior is lovely and you can call to make a reservation or just walk in. I got a Kafta plate, and while the food wasn't bad at all, nothing really wowed me. I felt like the plate could've had more flavor and been served hotter instead of lukewarm. My friends said their chicken shawarma was quite dry.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night and it was so busy! Hard to find a table and many to-go orders, but it's great to see such a wonderful business doing well. My friends and I came here for a casual dinner and loved the food. We tried almost all the appetizers, our favorite being the eggplant and cauliflower dishes. The food was healthy and flavorful. Thank you for the great dinner!

Yelp
Wow! I heard this place was good, but to be honest, it was even better than I expected. The halloumi cheese platter was DELICIOUS. The sauces were perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, and the eggplants were divine. The zaatar pita was also a fun switch up from regular pita, but even the regular pita had a perfectly soft and fresh texture to them. I will definitely be coming back and ordering these same things again!!

Yelp
This is my go-to restaurant for Mediterranean, especially lamb and rice! I've tried the falafel and other plates here, but the lamb is phenomenal. It's never gamey, it's so tender, and the plate comes with fresh vegetables and some hummus & pita. If you have a sweet tooth, don't sleep on their desserts. I'm not usually a baklava girl, but this place has converted me. Chefs kiss good! Restaurant is casual, but has a sitting restaurant feel. Clean, cute interior with wooden tables and lots of natural sunlight. You order and pay at the front and then they bring it out to you. A good amount of tables, but just a few for bigger groups, so I highly recommend making a reservation on a weekend.

Yelp
Mezze and Mooore is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food in San Francisco. Would highly, highly recommend you come check this out. If I could give 6 stars I would. :) FOOD [5/5] ========= + Lamb Kebab Plate [4.5/5] The plate itself comes with the most delicious pita, hummus, rice, and salad. Oh my gosh I cannot emphasize how well made their food is. The lamb kebab was a little tough on the day I ordered it and I have not ordered it again since. + Beef Kofte Plate [6/5] - WOULD RECOMMEND AMAZING. I will order this every time! The beef koftes (best way of describing it would be large, flat meatballs) were so delicious, so good, so juicy. SERVICE [5/5] ========= Super friendly workers! Always greeted very enthusiastically with a smile. :)

Yelp
So so so good. This is a convenient location for my husband and I as we get our tattoos around this area. It's located on the corner, with lots of options for indoor seating, bar area to sit for to-go order and nice glass displays for their baklava Menu is fairly large, but you can isolate based on if you want a plate, wrap, or even vegetarian options. We prefer the plates, and prefer to eat in house they give you a huge basket of pita when you eat here. Service can be fast, but the food sometimes takes a bit longer because they are busy but also the food isn't "fast food." So be prepared and not annoyed to have a slight wait. Enjoy it! The lentil soup is not to be slept on. It's also piping hot

Yelp
I really like this spot. I've been twice and I love the chicken shawarma plate. They add a little garlic sauce on top but you have to pay extra for some on the side- that's my only reason for not giving 5 starts. The space is beautiful. It seems more of place where you get table service but you just order at the front and they bring you your food. The service has always been nice and kind. I have limited interaction with the service tho, I usually order at the self ordering kiosk. I would just this place is worth trying out. I'd love to go during the night to see how the vibes are.

Yelp
The food came out fresh and warm! Eggplant was citrusy. Shawarma was filling and loved the cabbage. Kind service and welcoming. Place is decorated nicely and cute little spot.

Yelp
I always find myself in San Francisco more during the holidays thanks to all the lights and decorations that I go back to every year. That means trying some new spots like Mezze Mooore that another reviewer says reminds her of what she had in Lebanon. Fattet Batinjah of fried eggplant, garlic, yogurt sauce, pita, and croutons was my favorite that I couldn't stop eating it and would've been happy just eating this. Crunch pita croutons, creamy yogurt sauce, and soft eggplant is just the perfect combination. Had to try Lebanese House pita topped with tomatoes, onions, feta cheese, and zaatar which was another great combo. Schwarma plate was served with rice, hummus, and salad but I kept wishing it came with pita bread too as a vehicle to hold the perfect bite as the some of the meat was kind of dry and could've used the creamy hummus and soft pita to offset that.

Yelp
A new favorite restaurant! I'd passed by Mezze and Mooore a dozen times while running errands and saw its excellent Yelp reviews. We were greeted by a big smile and a warm welcome, off to a great start. The menu offered a lot of choice so I asked our server for some suggestions. He immediately recommended the arnabeet hot mezze (lightly fried cauliflower with garlic and fresh lemon juice and parsley), outstanding! We quickly chose our mains: Lamb/beef shawarma wrap ($13) and the Kafta plate ($15). Both were deliciously garlicky and generous portions. I can't resist babaghanouge ($9). The garlic and lemon were perfectly balanced and while I dipped the pita triangles, my son put dollops of it on his shawarma wrap. Even with The Incinerator (10 hours of high intensity swimming a week, yo) we took home leftovers including the lovely baklava the owners gifted us. Wonderful food, fresh flavors, great service- a gem of a restaurant. Highest recommendation, 5 stars all around for food, service and ambiance. Dine in or takeaway, you'll be very satisfied!

Yelp
A vendor invited us out here for lunch as it was near our office. I had never tried Mezze and Mooore before, but was looking forward to it based upon all of the rave reviews. We arrived around the afternoon, and there was thankfully plenty of seating options available as they don't take reservations. The interior is very clean and inviting, however on the casual end and pretty noisy. Definitely not a very conducive environment for a business lunch meeting. Was a bit of wait for our food to come out, but was definitely pleasantly satisfied when it did. The portion sizes here are HUGE, and definitely more than enough to bring home leftovers. I had a falafel wrap, and had enough to save half to take home. One of my colleagues ordered a salad thinking it would be light and quick, and the bowl was so big she could have easily split it into 3 meals. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and huge portions. Highly recommend if you're looking for a filling, delicious meal in the area!

Yelp
Ordered two different plates for grubhub delivery. Even called to ask they seal the bag EXTRA GOOD! The assure me that they would and they did! Customer service was great! HOWEVER!!! The food made both my mother and me very sick. Both of us experienced the same symptoms after eating the food!!! So their hygiene is questionable. I don't recommend this place at all!!!

Yelp
A true gem of a restaurant. Absolutely blew us away because it is such an unassuming spot! The service was great and the waiter who helped us order gave us stellar recommendations and had the best, warm humor. Our favorites: The cauliflower was insane!! Absolutely our favorite dish of the night. Perfectly roasted cauliflower with the best hint of lime on top. (9/10) beef plate with hummus (8/10) and chicken Schwarma (7/10), falafel was slightly dry. Will definitely need to try everything!

Yelp
Yumm! Loved the eggplant & halloumi cheese with all the fresh herbs. It was a pretty good sized wrap. I also ordered a side of fries and they were crispy and delicious. I ordered through my works lunch delivery service, Forkable. The food was still warm and fresh upon arrival. Would definitely order from here again.

Yelp
This place is totally worth the hype and then some more! We landed here for lunch on a Friday and had one of the best Mediterranean food we've had in a while. We tried their Babaganoush which was delicious and came with lotsss of Pita triangles (YAY!) and their Falafel plate which had hummus, salad and cut up falafels on a bed of rice. Everything was just so so so tasty and perfect! I had read on one of the reviews here that they make their own fresh toum, so we got a side of that and it was finger licking good. I wish I could pack some and take home cause I would just slater that on every wrap, sandwich or bread I ever have hehe. After a fulfilling meal, we still had space for Turkish coffee and when we went up to pay for that, the owner was SO kind to say "it's on the house". Sooo grateful for little gestures like this that makes you remember a place and wanna come back again :)

Yelp
My partner and I ordered two dishes ahead of time: lamb and beef & chicken plates. Both protein dishes came served with rice, hummus, salad and pita bread. We were originally going to grab our takeout and dine elsewhere, but we saw how open and beautiful the interior was, so we decided to dine in on the gorgeous day. The owner also made our visit so incredibly welcoming, that we knew we just had to sit in to enjoy our delicious meal. The dishes themselves were incredibly good, they hit the spot easily. Each plate is worth its price, such a great portion of pita bread was provided. My only comment is that I wish there was a bit more sauce (but that's just my small preference). We also got the baklava desserts (chocolate and original?). Both were very sweet - but quickly grew on us. We cleaned and finished all of our food easily and happily. Overall, great food, clean and nice restaurant, and AMAZING service!!! 5/5, will definitely return. Thank you, Mezze and Mooore!

Yelp
Love love love the plate here! Had a good amount of veggies, hummus and meat. The rice in the dish was super yummy and well seasoned. I was not the biggest fan of the grilled halloumi. It was my first time having halloumi and it had a funkier and saltier taste than I prefer. To be fair, I don't like blue cheese but to each their own. I think the cheese was well grilled just not my taste. Getting the food was convenient as well with the option to use the kiosk or the register.
google avatar

Yelp
A quick, casual, and decently priced mediterranean spot in the mission! They give large portions and the food is well seasoned. I got the chicken kebab plate which came with a salad, hummus, rice, garlic sauce, and roasted veggies + juicy chicken kebabs. Everything was delicious, but I will say the chicken was a bit tough. Next time, I'd love to try the beef and lamb shawarma plate and the famous lentil soup. I will be back!

Yelp
Such a great spot for a casual meal! Came here for dinner with friends on Monday and we had a terrific experience. We ordered at the counter and seated ourselves. I got the mezze salad with chicken and it was perfect. It was excellent value because the portions were huge (they didn't skimp on the chicken) and the prices were very reasonable. I really enjoyed the flavor of the chicken and the dressing as well. The salad was refreshing and made for a lovely meal.

Jan C.

Yelp
Got this as takeout. Thought the salad had a nice blend of flavors and textures, although I noticed a bit of moisture pooling up at the bottom of the box. I really enjoyed the bites of cheese and the pita croutons. Three bites in and I can already say this is a truly filling salad.
google avatar

Yelp
I was extremely excited to try this place since all the reviews were glowing but unfortunately this place was underwhelming. The amount of food you get for the price is great for value. Beef and lamb shawarma plate (2/5) - The plate consisted of rice, veggies, hummus and beef and lamb. The hummus was delicious and creamy but that was the only thing I truly loved about it. The meat was perfectly seasoned but it was very overcooked that the texture was almost like beef jerky. The rice was a little undercooked. Chicken shawarma hummus (3.4/5)- once again hummus was great and chicken was perfectly seasoned but the chicken was very dry. Pretty disappointing experience but maybe I got this on an off day.

Yelp
Food is consistently delicious and fresh. Love the ambiance and service here Staff are very nice.

Yelp
I came here to grab a quick lunch. I ordered it on the telephone and the food was ready in 15 minutes. I got the chicken wrap and the pistachio baklava while my friend got the chicken plate. The food was delicious! The accompanying sauces and salads tasted fresh. I love this type of food because it's not greasy so I'm not hit with the food colma afterwards. The pistachio baklava is one of the best baklavas I've had in awhile. Flakey layers, soaked in a syrup that wasn't too overly sweet. The owners of this establishment is also very friendly! 5/5 would come again

Yelp
Food: 5/5 traditional middle eastern recipes, delicious flavors. I came here with my Lebanese friend who got the kafta and the dolmas which she loved. I got the haloumi platter, which I would order again in a heartbeat. I like how they diced up the haloumi and sprinkled eggplant over it then covered it in a green sauce. Plus there were a several Arabic speakers there on a Sunday afternoon which is always a good sign that it's authentic. Ambiance: 4/5 it is a sit down restaurant but you order at the counter; because if this the food is more reasonably priced for San Francisco. Price: $$ it was about $25 each for 2 people, not bad for a Sunday brunch in SF. They also had some sauces and pickled artichokes on sale from Jardin de Carthage, a Tunisian brand. I didn't buy it this time but I would like to come back for the artichokes which are "alla romana" because they looked good. Service 5/5 the guy out front was super friendly in giving us recommendations and helping us get to-go boxes for our leftovers.

Yelp
A spot my friend suggested we go together. On a corner in the mission that I'd somehow never noticed. A walk in a order at the counter sort of place but with a relatively nice tablet setting. A nice ambiance that is clean and welcoming. Came in on a Tuesday for dinner and sat down without any issues. FOOD Halloumi. Soft and creamy on the inside and ever so slightly crispy on the outside. Salty in the middle served with some fresh herbs and tomatoes. A great starter. Mujadara. Lentils and rice with onions that were cooked so perfectly. Crispy and sweet on a bed of flavorful carbs with a nice yogurt sauce to balance everything out. Also a great choice. Combo plate. Goodness. Lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Huge flavors with great texture that was complimented well but the mint sauce to give it some creaminess. Beef similarly delicious and juicy. Chicken was a tad dry, but still had excellent flavor with the tahini sauce. All meats over a bed of perfectly cooked rice to help sop up all the flavor. Hummus and side salad all solid as well. Overall some excellent food and a nice relatively quite spot. I feel like it should be busier for how good the food is. I won't complain, but I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
The food here is amazing! I got their super falafel wrap ($14) to-go and I don't think I've had a wrap this good in a very long time. If you plan to get a falafel wrap and are a fan of eggplant highly recommend "upgrading" your wrap to a super falafel wrap because the pieces of eggplant they add are so soft, subtly smoky, and buttery. The wraps are massive and can easily be split into two meals. They come with a small container of harissa which has a tasty roasted flavor and just the perfect amount of spice. The coleslaw on the side is also surprisingly good. I'd love to come back to dine in because the restaurant interior is so cute and the employees are so kind.

Yelp
This restaurant met all my expectations of fine dining. The food tastes great and the service was very friendly and the ambiance of the place was outstanding. I may go back there again someday. I give this place 5 stars. I encourage everyone to try this place.
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
I've been here twice now, and the fried eggplants are still my favorite! The service is fast, and the food is overall affordable. We got the chicken shawarma this time, and the portions were a bit less than last time but still good! The decorations are also so colorful which I loved. I also highly recommend trying their Turkish coffee just to get a taste of different kinds of coffee from different cultures. You can always add sugar for more sweetness as well.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
great place for sharing food with a large group! my group of 7 came on a friday evening without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us quickly. we got: moussaka (eggplants), batata harra (potatoes), arnabeet (cauliflower), falafel, halloumi cheese, baba ghanoush, and hummus harr. i also ordered a combo plate to share with 2 other people. the small plates were quite filling though so the combo plate was too much food and we had leftovers. all the small plates were great but especially the moussaka. the ambiance felt cozy, perfect for a friend group catchup. very affordable (i paid a little more than $20) and filling as well!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious. Bright halal food to liven up the day! The Halloumi plate was exquisite!!! Service is excellent! The folks who run this business care and it really shows with the quality and flavors of their food! Don't miss out on their fresh mint lemonade!! I had to buy two because one to drink while dining and one to go!!! We came in a group of 14 and they were so gracious and accommodating! Location is great for folks nearby! Will definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
This restaurant is SO good. My friend is from Lebanon and it's his favorite cuisine so we got this for lunch. I like the self service station for ordering- it makes things really convenient. The food comes out QUICK. My highlights were the Kafta and the beef shawrma. Both meets were delicious. The mezzes were also great- we got the labneh (always a must) and the potatoes. Our server also gave us some desserts and tea. I enjoyed the tea a lot but desserts were a little to sweet for me. It's a casual joint w some street parking around the block. Food ig: @twofattrats

Yelp
staple for me and my boyfriend, probably order this once a week! we always get the beef and lamb gyro and it hits the spot every time. they use a lavash style wrap here and you get a very generous portion of meat, good quality too. the flavor is always outstanding. we miss the old side salad though! the fermented one is good, but we loved the previous one. pls bring it back!!

Yelp
TLDR: Yummy Lebanese food for the price point! We went here for lunchtime after church. It was not too busy around 2 pm on a Sunday, order first then find a table. They have a well-sized menu with good food options. We ordered a Chicken Mezze salad and a Lamb/beef swarma plate, it was huge! It was more than enough food for the two of us (I'm an eater tho!). They have really cute tile flooring. They also provided a couple of slices of pita bread with our meal. The salad tasted fresh and hearty, the swarma plate was tasty! Will definitely considering coming back to taste other menu items~

Yelp
A counter service / fast casual joint that feels nice enough that it could be proper table service (with more staffing). The menu is pretty standard Mediterranean with mezzes and shawarmas / kebabs. I ordered the Combo Plate, which was a nice way to try a bunch of different meats. Hummus: Smooth and a little fluffy. Definitely better than that grocery store stuff. Works great on a fresh pita with some meat. Chicken Shawarma: Seemed too thick and chunky to be carved off a spit. Though it was nicely spiced. And cut into medium pieces so you get a lot of nice searing. Lamb and Beef Shawarma: Probably the highlight of the meats. Not the weird lamb beef loaf that many places try to pass off as shawarma. Legit pieces of meat, cut small, nicely spiced. Don't think this came from a spit, but it still had a nice sear. Kafta: Ground meat with lots of nice spices. Falls apart with just a little nudge from your fork. While I'm normally a fan of kofta, the shawarma here was just so much better. Mint Lemonade: Glowing green kinda like Ecto Cooler, but natural. I like how the mint was essentially puréed into the lemonade so you it was extra minty. The lemonade itself tasted of fresh squeezed lemons and was slightly more on the tart side than the sweet side. Refreshing when you sip it, though you get a little bit of a sour aftertaste so best to chase with water.

Yelp
This place right here. Amazing food, great and friendly service and nice decor. I've become addicted to this spot as one of my main lunch go-tos, not too far from my office. The food is incredibly fresh and so well seasoned, full of flavor. My main thing is the shawarma. I get the chicken and it is so delicious. I usually don't eat falafel cause I've found that most placed over cook it and it's super dry - not the case here, their falafels are amazing. Also, the portions are large and the prices low. Incredible prices for the quality of food you get here. Hoping they're sticking around cause I may have withdrawals if I can't get my shawarma fix.. YUM...
google avatar

Yelp
4.5 stars rounded up. Very, very good service. There was an issue with our order, and the main server was very quick to make it right and to make sure we could enjoy our meal. Everything was super tasty. The decor inside was beautiful. It was such a nice day, and a nice meal. We got to try a lot of good food, and the servings were huge. We really enjoyed ourselves and were glad we came in. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Yelp
I ordered the falafel super plate that comes with potato and eggplant for delivery. This place is so highly rated that I had very high expectations. However, I didn't have a great experience. The falafels were large but very dry! I would not order them again. The hummus portion size in the plate was very small and the overall dish was dry. It needed a lot of sauce but didn't come with any. The eggplant and potato's were also quite flavorless and dry, with not a lot of spices added. However I would say the portion size was HUGE. I ended up adding sauces and recooking the meal with plenty of spices to make it taste better, and it lasted me a whole 3 meals. Maybe the restaurants dishes are just not great for delivery, but their food might taste better fresh and in person.

Delicious and affordable Lebanese food! I came for lunch and had the chicken shawarma plate and was SO impressed. The chicken shawarma came with the best garlic sauce on top, rice, mixed greens salad, and hummus. We also got free pita for the table. At $14, this was so worth it! Can't wait to come back and try the wraps. I heard the falafel is delicious as well. The workers are very friendly and it wasn't too crowded for lunch. Mezze and Mooore is a great casual spot to grab a quick lunch!

Yelp
So delicious!! The flavors were amazing and everything complimented the other dishes so well. Our favorite was the potatoes, which were tangy and savory.

Yelp
Lovely little casual spot. The decor gives a nece atmosphere. For we who sometimes don't want to interact with humans, or like to look at pictures of your options, you can look through the menu and place your order on a screen at the counter, and probably on the QR codes at the tables (noticed these later, didn't use it). They do bring the food to your table rather than have you pick up at the counter, which is nice. I had the falafel salad, which was tasty and had a good amount of fresh greens! Of course balance brings joy to life so with my healthy salad I also got fries, which were perfectly crisp, dusted with some spices, and comes with some ketchup. They did say that the fries came from frozen, but I and a friend who is a bit of a fry connoisseur chowed down on these bad boys happily. I also had some delicious tea which was served in a lovely traditional tea pot and ornate glass, with sugar if you please. Soothing warm tea was a great way to cap off the meal. I also had a bite of a friend's chicken that she ordered. It was nicely charred with juicy flavor. The food I ordered came out in the order I punched the items into the screen, although that may have been a coincidence. Regardless, if you want a drink before your meal maybe order that first? Would have been nice to have tea while drinking my meal rather than at the end. Overall, tasty meal, cute decor and ambiance, and convenient service!!

Yelp
Was super hyped from the reviews and i was not disappointed. the restaurant has a huge entrance and there were many convenient ordering options which made me feel very at home. Their hummus was delicious and some of the best i've ever had. We tried two of the plates and both were good but the juiciness of the kebab stood out to me the most. the price and quality of everything has made this spot a staple for me.

Yelp
The food is absolutely 1st class, both in terms of quality of ingredients and preparation. The interior of the place is elegant; an up-scale feel with great service, but only $15-20/person!

Yelp
Got a nice chicken shawarma plate, the most popular dish on Yelp. Also came with hummus, rice, and extra pita bread. The Mediterranean breads/pastries on the menu were also fun to try Nice blue color and cozy interior with friendly service

Yelp
For the price and portions this is a must try neighborhood gem. For under $20, you can get a huge plate of protein, rice, hummus, and salad. This is practically unheard of in SF! Def sharable and I recommend that so you can try other tapas on the menu. The meat is a bit dry, especially the chicken. The eggplant app is delicious. Crispy, tangy, savory, and juicy. Probably my favorite on the menu. Good place for to go! Super quick service and nice ambiance if you wanted to dine in as well$

Yelp
This is a family owned restaurant with FANTASTIC home cooking!! The entire family is kind and friendly. The service is top notch and I HIGHLY recommend eating here or taking out. Also, a good amount of times I go in, they are catering something.....you won't be disappointed. PS my favorite is the lamb/beef shawarma plate!!!!

Yelp
Food was great, decor is really nice, location is excellent. I had to drive five minutes to find a parking for free. Service is timely: pay before you order, which, in my opinion is smart. Fatteh eggplant was great , shawarma was really good even though it doesn't have the same spices as in Lebanon or Syria.
