This café serves the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had—hands down! The Steak and Egg Croissant Sandwich was so good it brought a tear to my eye. The steak was perfectly cooked, the eggs were fluffy, and the buttery croissant just melted in my mouth. After one bite, I told my husband we have to order this every single time we come here. We usually try to visit at least once a week, and every time, we always order an almond croissant. But honestly, I’ve tried pretty much every pastry here, and they’re all amazing. If you’re looking for a breakfast that’s next-level delicious, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!

Michael is an amazing chef, it is evident by the amount of passion and care he puts into his craft. I HIGHLY recommend the Steak & Egg and Turkey Club croissant sandwiches. I also tried the cheese/strawberry/nutella/apple pastries. All were phenomenal. I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could. Come swing by and say hi to Michael you won’t regret it!!!

Wow a real French bakery! While we waited for Bonchon, we took our niece here for an early dessert. We got the strawberry chocolate macaron. Her favorite. It was giant! Soft, flaky and puffy. Not so sweet. Chef Michael was friendly and even joked, if you watch Emily in Paris, it is not real…haha

Stopped in to get my hubby a muffin after surgery and it was the best muffin he ever ate! Came back 4 days later and got 4 muffins, a bear brownie, 4 croissants, 2 cookies, 2 coffees and these little rum deserts that is better than, well, you know! We will be back often. Everything is made fresh there and you can taste the freshness. I would compare the taste to a five star Michelin rated restaurant. And the service is amazing. Personable, friendly and welcoming.

We had some fruit tarts made for my mother’s retirement party and I knew they would be good because I’ve had some of their pastries from this shop before. I honestly just expected a larger version of what I’d already had. What we got was so much more! We ordered 4 of them and each one was completely different and they were so gorgeous! Each one had different fruit and cream and were delicious. My mom loved them and we are so happy we ordered from here, they made our party extra special.

Google
Excellent!! Very light and obviously made with care. We tried the Apple danish, cheese danish and the chocolate chip cookie ( which was the size of my hand). Each item was heated prior to placing in our bags, everything was delicious, you could taste the butter!! We will visit again our next visit to Vegas.

Cure little place by starbucks. Not a lot of seating but it doesn’t look like it gets crowded. Got an avocado croissant, almond croissant, chocobanana and an iced latte. The croissants were excellent: crispy outter layer with soft inner layers. The veggies that came with the avocado croissant were super nice and fresh. The chocobanana was alright. Not a lot of banana flavor as I had hoped. Docked one star because of this. Ice latte was also so-so, but they did warn me they did not specialize in coffee. Probably still better milk-espresso ratio than Starbucks.

Yelp
What I want to know is, how can all those people be going to the mass produced Starbucks coffee, which they have to drown in sugar because the quality of their coffee is so bitter??! This place is such a little haven. Once inside, you forget that Starbucks is right next to it. It was my first time and I wasn't feeling all that well because of insomnia. I really wanted to have something to eat outside and get some nourishing vitamin D. This little place is spotless with some intoxicatingly beautiful desserts. I ended up getting the vegetable quiche and a latte with almond milk. The latte was incredibly smooth and delicious. No bitterness at all. The quiche, was probably the best quiche I've ever had. I've spent some time in different areas of France and I don't remember eating a quiche or any cheese based dish that was this good! It was fluffy, with a fresh slice of tomato on top and a lovely FRESH spinach salad with a light vinegarette dressing. I took it to go to eat at Nevada Trails park that is close by. It was such a beautiful day, warm but not hot. I'm so glad I stopped in. The chef was working that day as well. I guess that is why the quiche was so perfect. Yes, this place is small, but it's so relaxing. Treat yourself. Hey Starbucks drinkers, you have no idea what you are missing! Plus, I think Mg's lattes are slightly less expensive than Starbucks and oh so delicious!

Yelp
We came across this French bakery with an Asian twist, where they mentioned that most of their customers are Asian--which explains the good selection of matcha desserts. We tried the Chocolate Cake and Mango Matcha Cake, and both were pretty good! The flavors were well-balanced, they seemed to use high-quality ingredients, and we appreciated that the desserts weren't overly sweet. It's always nice to find a place that doesn't overdo the sugar while still delivering great taste. Overall, a solid spot, and we're even considering ordering a cake from them for my birthday! They also have a few tables inside if you want to dine in.

Yelp
Very happy anytime I find canales, as it is not common in patisseries in this city. The store is small, but offers a very pleasing variety of foods and beverages. The selections are on display behind or under glass, and clearly labeled. I ordered my pastry selections to go. There is limited indoor seating, but there is also limited outdoor sidewalk bistro style seating available. The pastry selections I chose were very good. Hooray for canale!

Yelp
If you are in the mood for dessert I can vouch that the desserts are worth the calories here. MG Patisserie is a small pastry and cafe located around 20 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip. This is all by a two star Michelin Seasoned Chef so it's going to extraordinary! Besides pastry they also offer a nice variety of a few croissant sandwiches and some quiche. We shared something very lemony called, "Lemon Cream," and something very chocolate called, "All About Chocolate." Both were packed with full flavors and you could certainly taste quality. We were even checked on by from a chef there. I'd highly recommend Mg Patisserie and Cafe.

Yelp
Excellent French croissants that are very flaky and not lardy. Would like to get more buttery. Almond croissant was excellent and the filling was homemade with slices of almonds, not too sweet. Excellent ! The cheese pastry was just okay. The filling was excellent but the flaky dough was inconsistent. The edges were flaky but the bottom layers were doughy like bread. I assume the excessive filling requires a dough structure that was more bread like to hold it. Suggest a smaller size, less filling so we can enjoy a croissant structure. Overall a very good place for French inspired pastries. Although next to a SBUX, they shouldn't give up on being a better cafe destination. Memories of France included both pastries and cafe au lait.

Yelp
Wow! Not only is the owner incredibly friendly; the food is amazing! The Belgium chocolate is perfect; not sweet, and is so delicious! I've never tasted anything quite like it. The cheese pastry was so light and flaky and full of flavor. There are some tables to sit while you enjoy your French pastries. Chef was so nice; he brought us out a treat in the house. Again; so yummy! We will definitely be back again for more treats!

Yelp
Every time I find a place like this, I leave tremendously upset that I hadn't come sooner. This is my second time visiting Mg Patisserie this week and there is something undeniably special about this place. It's a small cafe- tidy and well-loved. Their selection is what you'd expect, and a few things you wouldn't expect but befitting to a two Michelin star pastry chef. To my delight, the chef was in today- I decided to have "The Rude French Man" and their cinnamon roll. All with a hot coffee, naturally. The "Rude French Man" is a hilarious misnomer because the chef is warm and friendly. The sandwich itself was delicious. Melty cheese, perfect medium yolk, thick smoked ham, buttery and flaky croissant. The fresh spinach provided a welcome respite to the richness of the sandwich. The cinnamon roll might be the best I've ever had. I did a happy little shoulder shake as I was eating it- not too sweet, light, hundreds of layers, and not doughy. With a Starbucks right next door, I couldn't help but watch their customers and think how jealous they should all be at the experience I was having. A few honorable mentions: The pineapple upside down cheesecake is a religious experience, and their chocolate chip cookie is a texturally decadent delight. Overall, couldn't give a more glowing review. I will absolutely be back, hungry for more.

Yelp
We found it to be a small cafe with limited seating and on this morning we were the only customers during our visit. My wife ordered a strawberry pastry while I settled on an apple (pastry). Affable chef/owner Michael Gillet heated each of these delicious pastries before delivering them to our table. My one regret was we failed to make a return visit to taste his signature MG Quiche Jambon quiche.

Yelp
I got the guava danish and appreciated the balance of flavors and texture. The flaky, buttery pastry outside, soft whipped like cheese on the inside, and topped with pistachio nutty bits. The guava paste was not overly sweet but light in flavor compared to the rest of the danish. I also got the Turkish almond cookies, which reminded me of something between a biscotti and brittle. It was light, crispy, and very buttery. I originally wanted to come to try the little cakes I saw in the photos, but they don't seem to offer it on the regular. I was told they do it for special orders, typically made 4 days in advanced.

Yelp
Small little bakery/coffee shop next to Starbucks. The workers are very nice and happy to answer any questions The almond croissants are phenomenal! I asked for it warm and the outside has a flaky crust and the inside is just soft and delicious. If I could eat one every day I would

Yelp
**UPDATE:** I can't stop laughing because you just keep proving my point about your ignorance and the type of person you are. Stop responding, which is why you've been blocked. I have no desire to continue this pointless conversation with someone who clearly needs help. --- **UPDATE:** The owner decided to personally attack me in a private message, further proving his true character. It's unfortunate that he doesn't seem to comprehend the message being delivered. --- I'm not surprised by your extremely defensive response. It highlights the same immaturity as a business owner that we experienced during our brief visit to your bakery. You've only proven our point. It's completely understandable if you no longer offer certain items, but as customers, we had no way of knowing that. As a business owner, creating a welcoming and positive experience is essential. Instead of offering us to try your current offerings, you made the choice to push us out the door. As huge fans of pastry, you missed the opportunity to gain a loyal customer. Don't be sorry for us as there are plenty of better bakeries around town. But we are certain we will not be back to yours.

Fenny K.

Yelp
The selection was very small and taste is ok. They have clean presentation and decor. Unfortunately, they are next to starbucks and I think locals support statbucks more than local businesses

Yelp
Excellent patisserie. I tried the financier and almond croissant, both fantastic. I absolutely loved the financier. It's a "simple" pastry, but done extraordinarily well here.
google avatar

Vee L.

Yelp
Came here after having lunch across the way. I wanted to try their chocolate chip cookie, but they sold out by 130ish. The chef was there to greet us upon entry and mentioned that their jams are all made in house. He is a two-start Michelin pastry chef! Woot woot! I opted for their apple pastry- it's like an apple danish but is much more delicious than that. They also had a strawberry and Nutella pastry just like it- all are $5.50. It was buttery, and sweet, but not too sweet. I inhaled it. My go-to is normally anything chocolate so I'm surprised I liked my apple pastry so much. The chef did warm up the pastries for us so I'm sure that made it even more magically delicious. There is limited seating, more of a grab and go place.

Alx L.

Yelp
Nasty food. I've had better meals from Taco Bell. Everything is so expensive and the staff is so rude to you, especially the "chef" Michael Gillet. Give your hard-earned money to someone who better deserves it, not to rude people who only care about charging the most amount of money for tasteless "food".

Miley V.

Yelp
Every time we're in Vegas, we make it a point to stop by MG Patisserie. The flavors are so authentic and FRESH. it's truly a must-visit! Our go-to is The Rude French Man sandwich. It's a perfect combination of lemon citrus, spinach, and a buttery, flaky croissant. It's absolutely irresistible! Of course, we can't leave without indulging in a few of their amazing pastries. Unfortunately, we devoured everything so quickly that we couldn't snap a photo this time, but trust us....it's worth every bite!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Delicious! So many things I wanted to try so I definitely will be coming back! Delightful atmosphere. Beautifully presented and 'The Rude French Guy' was only a menu name because the French guy was really friendly!

Yelp
Only took us a few weekends to get here right as they open. We went a few times but have consistently missed their croissants due to being late risers. But here is a long awaited review after a few visits to try more of their menu. Snacks: Strawberry Danish: I love the strawberry and creme combo. Such a fresh flavor and creamy too. The outside is nice and flakey, perfect combo Raspberry Danish: This one was great too. However tasted more like a blackberry rather than raspberry. 3. Nutella Danish: made for more children, but my adult friend LOVED it. Nutella was delish and the pastry was chefs kiss. 4. Canella: really great chew. Rum was baked out, and the vanilla was perfectly sweet. Entrees: 1. Toasted Avocado Croissant: The avocado was nice, fresh, and delightful. The arugula on the side paired nicely with this. 2. Rude Man: this was basic, compared to the ham and cheese croissant. I would opt for the ham and cheese over this unfortunately. Just due to price point and flavor. 3. Ham and Cheese Quiche: oh my! This was custardy and so perfectly sweet and salty. The creme of the egg was like butter and was just a mouthful of deliciousness. Must get. 4. Ham and Cheese croissant: delicious, salty and a hint of sweetness. It was a great balance of flavors. The plain croissant is still the star of the show. It was flakey, buttery, and overall consistent through and through. Hats off to the chef, and the brother that dealt with us!

Yelp
Every pastry they have is so delicious. It's the best I've ever had. I highly recommend checking out this small bakery next to Starbucks.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I am definitely a Starbucks person however as many times as I've come to the location next-door, I have seen MG and I thought today's the day to give back to a small business and I went on and the pictures looked amazing so I will say that the pastries are delightful The owner suggested the Nutella croissant and it was simply divine. However, I did get a flat white and I will say that that's not the strong suit so if you're coming here to me and my personal opinion, it's for the pastries thank you. I definitely will be back. Also the ambience is very quite very serene very French café feeling.

Yelp
Cute place with a good local vibe. Stopped in for coffee and some vegan treats but unfortunately they were sold out of the one and only vegan item they had.
google avatar

Val S.

Yelp
First time I came to this place around 2:55 and found that they are closed at 3pm (please have your new hours updated on yelp too!) Finally I got chance to come here during their business hour, but then I was so disappointed. The canele I got was nothing looking right to me. It supposed to be crispy on the outside and has consistent browning coat, but what I got was soggy from outside to inside, inconsistent browning color, and irregular shape. It was nothing like the pictures on their yelp. I doubt the person who made this didn't make it in a right way. I hope this place can be more responsible to their customers as well as their pastries. It's totally unacceptable for me, I should have taken a picture of what I got... Edit: I suggest you, the owner to actually take a look of the cannele that your employee made, before making a comment telling me if you have to please 9 billion people.

Yelp
Owner/Chef Michael isn't The Rude French Man afterall. He wears multiple hats here. We were greeted immediately. Excellent customer service. Michael was staffing and preparing our foods when we were there. Low key environment. Clean and organized. Positive setting. There's a sink physically visible inside the cafe for handwashing. Interesting. Menu is simple. Good selections and varieties. Fruit tarts and cheesecakes are yummy too. Tiny French cafe/bakery which is a bit different than places that I would normally visit, but it certainly is unique and one of a kind. I had the breakfast croissant. Yummy. Delicious almond croissant and other croissants too. We love croissants. I like anything with lots of ham and cheese. Creme brulee and everything else looks great as well, especially if you have the sweet tooth and appetite. Generous portions. Average market prices. Spinach salad vinaigrette was also unique with the lemon drizzle flavor. It's a place with some humor and for relaxation for sure. Not many tables inside. I'm sure everything here tastes as good as it looks. French indeed. Everything was passionately made. Goes well with the signature. Feels very cozy and comfortable inside with wall decors. Toss your own trash. Most foods are served with paper plates or in paper bags. Not a huge place. You can sit outside too. Great stop with no long lines and no long wait times on weekdays around lunchtime. Customers purchase takeouts. Loved the food presentations. Cafes don't have to be huge these days. Food quality matters. This place is for people who appreciate chef/patisserie creations. We will try to come back next time and will try other foods from the daily menu.

Sherrie S.

Yelp
The BEST Butter croissant in Las Vegas! And so are the almond croissants. Michael does not use any almond extract in the almond croissants which most bakeries do, which totally ruin them (imho). I drive almost 9 miles most days to get a croissant here in each direction and it's worth it - it's the next best thing to being in Paris.

Vina Joyce M.

Yelp
Had a turkey club sandwich and steak and eggs. Its bomb! It so delicious and the croissant just super good! Will come back and recommend this place!

Yelp
So glad this cafe survived the pandemic. Always a great place for pastries. Love their warm freshly made sandwiches. Great coffee as well. Chef is awesome and helpful with selecting pastries. Every pastries with had are always so good. Support our local businesses. Can't wait for chef to make some Pasteis de Nata. Follow him at Instagram as he makes new pastries and bread.

Yelp
I just had the jamon quiche, and it was truly one of the most wonderful things I have ever eaten. He suggests eating the quiche with the salad - meaning a little bit of the salad with each bite and it was perfect.. My cappuccino was beautiful.. I have a few other baked goods in a bag waiting for me to devour them later when I get home. Don't miss this place!

Chi D.

Yelp
High quality pastries and desserts. We drive almost 30 minutes to get here and it is worth it. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We've been here twice and we tried different kinds of their pastries and sandwiches, they were all good.

Yelp
Just a walked in never been here before I was delighted with the RUDE FRENCH MAN Very tasty definitely something to recommend to anyone
google avatar

Yelp
I went in for a French baguette, and I should've known by the name that it was pastries only. I bought a Canele' de Bordeaux and let me tell you, it was delicious. Chewy, a little bit, crunchy and sweet on the outside, eggy, soft, almost custard-like on the inside. Perfect! at five dollars it was a little spending but worth every bite.
google avatar

Kyle S.

Yelp
Chocolate croissant and iced latte were very good Reasonably priced and clean atmosphere

Yelp
Best food and desserts in town!! Highly recommended!! you won't be disappointed! Swing by and try them out!!!

Yelp
This is the place you go to either impress a date or to reward your taste buds for a job well done! It's a small little cafe but the food is explosively delicious. I don't want to admit it, but we ordered three different desserts, and they were all wonderful. I thought I had pictures, but I must have eaten them as well. I only have one of my friend smiling, ready to indulge. We will totally return! The only possible hiccup is. It's a bit expensive so come prepared to pay. service is nice, friendly, and quick.

Matt N.

Yelp
I had a custom order for a raspberry charlotte. Came out delicious. Made my birthday!

Yelp
Extraordinaire! The pastries (cheese pastry, Nutella pastry) and the ham & cheese croissant were exceptional. Thick sliced ham with just the right amount of smokiness, excellent cheese melted perfectly and the best pastry dough I've eaten make this well worth a stop. The coffee (hot and iced) were high quality and strong. Reasonably priced. Pleasant atmosphere with outdoor seating, if desired. Efficient, friendly service. Magnifique!

Yelp
After having the worst breakfast of our lives, we were going to the neighbor Starbucks, when we noticed this French patisserie. We had a nice conversation with Chef Alex, we shared chef life stories and he gave us some amazing meal locations that out of town food lovers would enjoy. He and his brother have opened up this shop just over 4 years ago and still doing well. The desserts are amazing. Alot of them were sold out so you should stop in early as they dissappear quickly.

Yelp
Came here to get a special birthday cake. It was amazing. Beautiful and delicious.Their other pastries were just as delicious as the cake. The service was outstanding.

Yelp
Located at 6365 South Rainbow Boulevard, inside the former Peridot Sweets' adjacent Starbucks, Mg Patisserie & Café features the talents of Pastry Chef and Owner Michael Gillet, a former Michelin Star recipient with nearly three decades of experience. Established in June of 2019, a mostly turnkey transition from Tiffany Jones' well-liked bakeshop, it was in short-order that a line of Cupcakes, Cookies and Muffins transitioned to Viennoiserie and Dessert, prices from $4-8 par for the course though the former were previously found Freezer-cold when picked up early morning. This time received as a gift, two Cookies flat and fairly basic in comparison to others in town, Desserts were highlighted by a Blueberry Lemon Tart inside a delicate Shell plus airy Cheesecake, while Tiramisu lacked any trace of Mascarpone making it nearly as rich as Gillet's poignant Chocolate Cake. TWO AND A HALF STARS: A graduate of CFA Marzy Pastry School in France, Michael Gillet spent nearly two decades preparing elegant Desserts at some of America's top hotels before striking out on his own in 2019, the results of time with Caesars, Red Rock, The Peninsula and Ritz-Carlton evident in items such as airy Cheesecake and Tarts but little else across two tastes.

Yelp
I've only tried the crossiants here but they're pretty good. They make a really tasty ham and cheese.

Yelp
This Friday lace was recommended by a pastry lover and I HAD TO try! Small little place about 4 tables, the pastry selection great and very very French. The croissants so buttery and flaky and the chocobanana loaf just out of the oven and the smell to drive you crazy even if you are not a chocolate lover. Price is moderate about $4.50 a pastry the mini loaf $6.50. Super clean and the attendant courteous.

Yelp
I was told by 2 men on the airplane headed to San Francisco to come here. Today I did my field trip and wow was it worth it I love smoke salmon on a plain bread topped with gorgeous spinach with just a touch of oil and taste. Delicious!! I took home 2 desserts: Naughty me. an almond croissant, i took a bite,, the crust is to die for, delicious, tasty, flaky and the other one is an apple which i am saving. Unbelievable discovery is this cafe. I am sorry I hadn't known about it sooner. I absolutely think it is a hidden treasure. WOW!!!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I love an independent. This place is teeny tiny, but charming with outdoor seating to expand the space. A beautiful array of small batch handcrafted desserts. The most unique looking chocolate croissant I've ever seen. The quiche was a smallish portion and came it with a lovely salad tossed in a very light dressing. The portion of ham was generous compared to the amount of egg. Cappuccino was excellent. Mind you it's a bit pricey but quality isn't cheap.

Yelp
WOW, JUST WOW!! I stumbled across this amazing pastry shop by accident and I am so happy I did! I can't express enough how groundbreaking these pastries tasted. We tried the chocolate croissant, the guava cheese danish and the chocolate banana cake. We were speechless at how good they were. The cafe isn't very big, just a few tables but very cozy and intimate. The gentleman that greeted and served us was very nice and respectful. I HIGHLY recommend this patisserie. If you know what good things in life are supposed to taste like, please do yourself a favor and drop everything you're doing and go try this place! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Courtney M.

Yelp
Service was very nice and attentive - Michael worked alone but was fast and got our sandwiches out in a timely manner. The food tasted amazing. The best croissant sandwich ever!! The food tasted great, very fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Would definitely come back when we're in Vegas.

Yelp
I had driven by this place many times and never got a chance to stop in. It is next door to a Starbucks, and that may be one of the reasons it is looked past, but I value local businesses and decided to give it a try. The place is very cute and clean. I got The Angry Frenchman and added avocado to it, and it was delicious! The egg was cooked perfectly and the textures of the crunchy croissant and perfect thickness of the ham... Will definitely come back again. Support local business! My only complaint is about the other people -- please don't park in the reserved spots meant for MG to go to Starbucks. It's rude. There's a sign for a reason!
