"Mi Barrio serves brunch all day and every day. There’s huevos rancheros and chilaquiles, plus French toast topped with jam, sweetened condensed milk, and Gansitos cookies. Benedicts are made over sopes with chicharrones and hollandaise sauce. Order a coffee, a coffee cocktail, or choose any of seven flavors of bottomless mimosas." - Janna Karel

I was super excited to try this restaurant with some of my girlfriends for a get together. We got seated pretty quickly which was nice. But that was likely the last nice aspect of our meal. The food is expensive for what was given. The salsa had drenched everything and we honestly couldn’t taste anything else. We were only offered one re-fill, even the water re-fill was never offered. Our waitress never checked on us. We weren’t told of a time limit when we sat, and after eating we sat and chatted for a while. We weren’t there for even two hours before we got kicked from our table as a “party was coming”. There were open tables in the restaurant. Not only that, but our party noticed a lot of side eyes from the staff at this restaurant. We noticed them talking about us. It would have been nice to know we needed to leave when we were sat, as it was very interruptive and uncomfortable. Do better at training your staff. We won’t be back and we won’t recommend to other locals.

This place was awesome. Reminded me of being in the Yucatan. I highly recommend the molletes and get chorizo or your favorite meat on it. This was by far my favorite thing and so good. The bone marrow esquite was delicious and decadent too. Everything we had was incredibly good, and the service was great. I could see it being hot if it was middle of the summer, but we went on a cool day in September. So, it was perfect even on the patio.

Located in the Arts District, Mi Barrio is a hidden gem a street over Main Street. My family and I tried to make reservations over their website, but it wasn't "open" to take any was our error. Thankfully when we called ahead to ask about reservations and our difficulty, we were put on the wait list and got in rather quickly! The space is small, colorful, and full of great energy! Seating consists of bar space, booths, tables, and outdoor seating outside garage style doors bringing outside inside. The Mexican twist on American brunch was what caught my interest, and so I HAD to try Mi Barrio. To start, my mother had a Cafe de Olla (coffee infused with cinnamon and sweetened with piloncillo) and I had their bottomless mimosa (lavender). Cafe de Olla came with a cute little pastry to dip into your coffee (it will be dry, but traditionally is supposed to be like that so don't worry). Our breakfasts were delicious! My dad ordered a birria "build your own" chilaquiles, my mom ordered a birria "build your own" sope benedict, and I ordered the arroz con leche pancakes. The savory breakfasts were packed with flavor and well balanced while the pancakes were not overly sweet (was my only worry). I will definitely come back to try more of the menu! Thank you Andrea for a wonderful brunch and the hostesses for helping my family get in to try your lovely kitchen. Thank you bar for our drinks, and a big thank you to BOH with all the cooks cranking out delicious food in the heat. Ya'll beat a bunch of brunch spots in San Diego and I've eaten at nearly all of them!

Google
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was hip and a real vibe. It got super busy quick. Opportunities for improvement, we ordered coffee and drank my first cup within 10 min, we didn’t get our next cup until about 30 min, a combination of waiter didn’t come over often and eventually we asked for another cup but he said they brewed another pot. Needless to say I ate my pancakes cold.

Google
Perfect brunch spot in the arts district! I’ve never seen an avocado toast cocktail on a menu before. Our server Andrea was awesome and walked us through her favorite drinks and food items on the menu. Would definitely come back.

Google
Downtown Las Vegas keeps getting better and Mi Barrio is the perfect addition, cleverly on Commerce, which has better parking options than the main thoroughfare. I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch, and the dishes vary from classic to fun fusion options. Start with the coffee, share a few plates, and you'll still likely have extra for leftovers. The sopes, french toast, and benedicts were all delicious!

Google
The food was good I had the chilaquiles divorciadas with the birria mmmm so delish, the service was mid we kept having to wave the server down to get things we wanted. It’s a cute spot definitely recommend, the mazapán latte was good as well but I wish it was more.

Google
This was an incredibly flavorful meal that was prepared perfectly. I got a lavender latte and the birria hash. The service was great, the food was delicious. The vibes here are great, highly recommend!

Yelp
This place is amazing! I took my mom out for brunch and it did not disappoint! So many good options it was hard to pick out just one thing. We decided to go with the birria sopes and because my mom couldn't decide between the green or red chilaquiles, our server recommended the divorciados as it comes with both. It was DELICIOUS!! The green chilaquiles are the best though. We also added birria to them, 10/10! While the sopes were good, they became very soggy with the birria. It didn't quite feel like an original/authentic sope. The Mazapan cold latte is 100/10! Highly recommend. Our server was extremely kind and the service was excellent. The place was busy on a Saturday morning as any brunch place would be, but we didn't have to wait long for a table for two. It also wasn't extremely loud even though they had music. You could still have a normal conversation without having to feel like you're yelling across the table. Will definitely return!

Yelp
This restaurant was a fun find as I had never been in the arts district before. It's so much nicer than most areas around the strip. Everything was great. The employees seemed nice, the music was vibing and it was nicely decorated. That's where it ended. Once the food and drinks arrived it was the biggest fail. The chilaquiles are not it. The red ones are worse than the green. They just are not a good flavor at all. Add some beans and maybe that will help on the side. The fries with Tinga were also a big miss. These were more edible than the chilaquiles but still. Definitely a pass and not worth the hype.

Yelp
I came to Mi Barrio Kitchen & Cocktails for brunch, located in the Arts District. I believe it's a new spot since I hadn't seen it before. The interior had a nice and unique vibe, and we sat at the bar, where the bartender was very friendly and welcoming. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict, which she loved, along with a side of fries. The portions were generous. I had the molletes and added chicharrón as my protein choice. The molletes chicharrón wasn't the best flavor but The dish was a good size. I also asked for both the green and red salsas they were okay so that was a bit disappointing as I always judge a Mexican restaurant food base on if they have a good salsa or not as that it's always a good starting point to know how the rest of the food would be for Mexican restaurants Overall, I'd definitely come back. This is definitely more of a brunch spot, as they don't have a full menu and closes at 3 PM.

Brianna C.

Yelp
This place is a whole vibe!! Their coffee is amazing, food is flavorful, and their cocktails are refreshing. The service is friendly and have great recommendations. This is definitely my new favorite spot downtown. Come check it out and make sure to get their bottomless mimosas and Café de Olla! Thanks Tony and Brian for the amazing hospitality and see you again very soon!

Noah T.

Yelp
If you're in the downtown Las Vegas area the arts District cool little trendy spot serving authentic delicious Mexican breakfast. They offer full bar service is great Oscar. Our server was on point Coffee's delicious food is absolutely outstanding. Would highly recommend. This is a spot to check out. HUGE PORTIONS!! Full of flavor

Karina C.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The coffee brought back wonderful memories of my childhood. My grandpa loved cinnamon coffee. The staff is wonderful, venue is gorgeous and loved the background music. This place is an amazing vibe definitely will be back to try the entire menu

Bethany T.

Yelp
This is the second time I've tried this amazing spot and it won't be the last. Everything we tried was 5 stars. The presentation, the detail, the flavor was all on point. The service was amazing as well. The birria Benedicts has to be my favorite out of everything.

Linda R.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and it was amazing. We arrived around 1pm on a Friday and it was pretty empty. The Service was okay. The menu is not too extensive, it had a variety of dishes that I want to come back and try like the gansito French toast. The drinks were a la carte so we both ordered a Mexican Coke.. I had the chilaquiles with red salsa, a fried egg and birria. Every bite was delicious and it tastes homemade. My bf ordered huevos rancheros, it's 3 friend eggs on 2 tostadas, chorizo and a side of refried beans. For dessert we had the cafe de olla with a concha. That was the best coffee I've ever had and they warm up the concha. Overall I will be back

Nanette L.

Yelp
Delicious food!!!! Great food! Thank you for the great service! Ambience was really good. The drinks were Mimosa and delicious food

Montse S.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Everything was clean and the music was a good level for our meal. We weren't impressed by the arroz con leche pancakes but the chilaquiles were good. The enchilada skillet is very rich, so if you love cheese you'll be satisfied. I was missing a carb to absorb the sauce, perhaps something to consider. Concha was a sweet touch with the cafe de olla. I hope to return and try different dishes, perhaps it was an off day. Service was okay, nothing really stood out and there was no information shared from our server, an order taker in and out.

Stefany V.

Yelp
Great experience for brunch - and super affordable at under $20. I came in solo and had the café de olla (includes a mini concha) and the molletes, which is essentially like the original avocado toast but with beans, cheese, and pico de gallo. Not only was it fantastic, their beans are SO good and the portion size was gigantic - basically a whole split bolillo roll. I could not finish everything I ordered. It tasted like a homestyle meal I grew up with in south Texas, really took me back. The vibe here is so nice, with outdoor seating and plants in both dining areas, a large bar and colorful murals. Service from Andrea was friendly and the music added a touch of fun to the atmosphere. I look forward to coming back with friends to try more - like their chilaquiles and skillet enchiladas.

Sergio P.

Yelp
Great spot to check out! Mi Barrio has a great menu and good options. Our server Jocelyn was awesome. She helped us decide because everything sounded great. The green chilaquiles with chicharrones was really good, one thing there was a bunch or chips, only one egg and only a bit of chicharrones. The bites I did get were good tho. Recommend getting extra chicharrones and one more egg. The octopus tostada with chorizo was really flavorful. Definitely recommend trying. I like spicy so I asked for a side of the sautéed jalapeños and onions, and she also brought me another spicy sauce that was super good. Definitely recommend trying out Mi Barrio

Jaedi W.

Yelp
Food was absolutely unbelievable. We ordered the chicken fried steak, birra Benedict, birra hash. Every single thing was delicious!!!

Jessica M.

Yelp
Went there for brunch! The decor is so nice and they had outdoor seating options. The staff was attentive and explained the menu thoroughly. I ordered the "Build Your Own Chilaquiles". I decided on birria for the protein and rojo for the salsa. It was so delicious. There were eggs, pickled red onions, crispy tortilla chips, and tender birria. My first time having chilaquiles and it did not disappoint. I also ordered a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. 10/10 must try. So sweet and yummy.

Jenny R.

Yelp
I am a chilaquiles connoisseur and my search for the best chilaquiles in Vegas has ended because I've found them here at Mi Barrio! I had the chilaquiles divorciados (which is half green sauce, half red sauce) with birria. They were SO good. And the chilaquiles portion is VERY generous. As for the other food ordered at our table, a friend had one of the Benedict's, another had the Gansito French Toast, and another had the Birria Hash. The dishes were all plated beautifully and every one of us enjoyed our meal. We also ordered two cafe de ollas (which come with a delicious mini concha) and three iced lavender lattes that came with whipped cream. The cafe de olla is so good! Perfectly sweetened with a hint of cinnamon. We were seated right away (party of 5 on a Saturday morning at 10am) and had good service throughout our meal. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. It's bright from the natural lighting outside and there's also patio seating. I can't wait to go back!

Kelly T.

Yelp
I love it when new breakfast/brunch concepts open in this neighborhood! I especially love that they are on commerce street so it gives the other small businesses a little more foot traffic. The ambiance is stellar, done by the same people as Ser Ve Sa next door. Bright and airy, perfect full bar and excellent outdoor seating. The service was wonderful. I came around 10 on a Sunday and had no wait, but they were filling up fast. By the time I left there was a short wait. They don't take reservations as of now. The menu is really fun, something for everyone. I tried the birria hash and chillaquillas which were both unique and delicious as well as the molletes con chorizo which was like a toast with beans, pico and chorizo. Everything was plated beautifully and tasted fantastic. The cocktails and mimosas look fantastic. I wasn't able to try them this time, but just reading them in the menu was enticing. Really great cocktail creations, I'd even come here just to have a drink!

SeanPaul B.

Yelp
Very cool spot in the arts district. The cocktails were delicious. The food was outstanding. Chicken fried steak was out of this world. We will be back.

Cathy T.

Yelp
Mi Barrio Restaurant and Cocktails is a gem! The setting is perfect, with fun music that keeps the vibe going, and the choice to sit inside or outdoors is a nice bonus. The food? Delicious! We were ready to roll out of there in a food coma. Tostada was delicious! But... one star less for a little "oops" moment. My husband ordered Huevos Rancheros with half red sauce and half green sauce, but it arrived with only green sauce and (wait for it)... no eggs. Yep, no huevos in the Huevos Rancheros! Maybe they thought we were on a low-egg diet? Also, no Bloody Mary's on the menu, which felt like a missed opportunity. But hey, we still had a great time--just double-check your eggs before you dig in!

Kayla H.

Yelp
Phenomenal food & service. The marzipan latte, cocktails, chilaquiles-- tasty & authentic Mexican flavors and cooking, so well done. Good mole!!! Chips made from scratch. Lovely staff and manager. Good area in the art district. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend!!!

Martha R.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! Hidden gem off the Vegas strip! Totally felt my heart beating when I smelt the amazing aroma of Mexico which took me to the memories of visiting family in Mexico! First thing I ordered the cafe de olla and it was served with the cutest "heart shaped conchita", warmed my heart! The food options were great as well. I ordered chorizo & eggs and my husband had the chilaquiles (1/2 red 1/2 green) with nice size steak and eggs and we loved it. The music playing was a nice touch to our experience. I will be looking forward to visiting again and trying their other brunch items. Let me also say, I didn't want to leave! Service was on point! Can't rant and rave enough. Loved it !!

Deb D.

Yelp
Birthday brunch for party of 8. Was 45 minute wait on a Sunday. WORTH IT! Bright and beautiful! Oscar was attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered verde birria chilaquiles and a spicy margarita, both equally delicious!

Julia M.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere, employees eager to serve. The food was amazing for our family of 10 birthday dinner. They were happy to allow us to bring in our own custom cake and kept it in the fridge until they brought it out at the end along with a staff singing Happy Birthday. The "Fajitas for Two" combos were delicious and more than enough food for 2 people.

Eric C.

Yelp
The cafe de olla comes with warm mini concha's. So good. The waitress was very nice and the food is the best Mexican food we have here in Vegas. We had the sopes Benedict's and Chilaquiles with chicharrón. Don't miss out on the bottomless mimosas!! I love the cubano music they play here

Shae Y.

Yelp
Service was great, and my watermelon mint Agua Fresca was kinda too sweet but super delish, I enjoyed my chilaquiles but not really blown away it was just ok. I will def come back and try different menu options. Looks like it's a real vibe with a lot of different celebrations happening with guest.

Deanne R.

Yelp
Mmmmmmm so glad I found this place on TikTok. It was sooo good not so heavy just right. Today we had the cafe de Hoya with a homemade concha (Mexican bread) also a cucumber water, huevos rancheros and avocado toast. Our server Jocelyn, was great thank you. Mexican dishes with a simple, yet unique, twist that recognizes the need to stay true to the culture while accepting modernity.

Rose S.

Yelp
Not my favorite... this place was definitely kid friendly and all servers were very nice but the food on the other hand was just not my cup of tea. It took about an hour to get seated which I didn't have a problem with but once the food came I wasn't really happy with how it turned out. I ordered the loaded fries with chicken tinga which wasn't horrible just not great. I also got the chilaquiles diviorciados which was the ultimate disappointment. The restaurant has a strong Pinterest-inspired vibe with beautiful decor, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the visual appeal.

Tina B.

Yelp
Andrea was super friendly. We liked that we asked which to choose from the drinks selection and she was made a good choice. The cafe de olla is the SHiT. I'm not a coffee person and I didn't even taste the coffee flavor. I love the cinnamon flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. Cute small place. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Ernest N Melissa M.

Yelp
Food was amazing the service very friendly the choice of music was perfect. Definitely a place to come back to.

Isabelle B.

Yelp
The food, ambiance and service is amazing. As soon as you walk in the door, all senses are immediately activated. The smell of the amazing food, the sight of lots of different plates being served, hearing every one talk about how good their food is, the softness of the concha's, the taste of the taste of everything. I'll be back, I'm salivating as I think about all the foods we tried. Thank you mi barrio for an amazing experience!

Olivia C.

Yelp
A new mexican style brunch restaurant! i ordered the huevos a la mexicana which came with a lot of food for only $12 there mimosas also come with a lot of champagne so the bottomless is worth it! definitely will be returning (:

Selene A.

Yelp
We decided to check out mi Barrio as impromptu date and we enjoyed it. The decoration and layout is modern and loved the greenery throughout. Lou(?) is attentive and kind. We ordered birria hash and steak and eggs. We decided to order cafe for dessert and loved it. The mini concha is soft and delicious. The cafe De Olla transported us back to Mexico. The manager walked around asking how was everything, I could tell they take care of their customers. All in all loved it!

Eric C.

Yelp
Chingon!!! Not upscale and yes at the same Modern is the word I'm looking for Thank you, Dulce and Johnny, for a first great experience. The food was good....wait for explanation I will not deduct a star, but yes, two major factors for me in breakfast #1 if the plate should be hot. PLEASE BE HOT #2 eggs are the star of breakfast. Please be mindful if we are over easy. We still want to still see that beautiful yolk run but not overcooked. Unfortunately, #1 did apply, but they were super accommodating they immediately changed the plate, but the egg did need more cooking , no problem being honest. The true star was simple but yet so good to have Cafe de la Jolla with added bonus a small concha Yellow next time, please Pink is not my color...lol Chilaquiles were soooo good The drinks were awesome The environment excellent love the happy awesome vibe Will be back more things to try

Mark S.

Yelp
I have been here a couple times. The staff is supper friendly and the food is delicious. They humored me with a side of crispy bacon for my bloody.......it was the BEST! I will be going back!

Lexis V.

Yelp
Mi Barrio met all expectations! The food was delicious and the vibe was on point. Its family friendly, has upbeat music, and a perfect brunch spot after a long night out. They even serve colorful dishes that are great for the instagram aesthetic. Can't go wrong with the chilaquiles or the Gansito French Toast. The Cafe de Olla was my favorite drink of all time, they even let me have a refill to go! The s'mores martini was also delicious I recommend if you get the Arros con leche pancakes, order a side of condensed milk Go check this place out in the Art District of Las Vegas!

Evelyn S.

Yelp
Second time here and I just wanna shout out our server, Jocelyn, for putting up with all of our questions and being super hospitable the whole time. I'm super indecisive and she was so helpful in explaining all the food and cocktails. Good service always sets apart a good restaurant from a great restaurant 10/10 would recommend the cafe de olla and the chilaquiles

Magaly N.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere, decent service, strong drinks, great food selections. The chilaquiles were amazing . I added nopales and birria to mine. Cucumber mimosa was amazingly strong Service was eh, our waiter didn't explain much on the drinks. Sketchy walk from the Strat to Mi Barrio Kitchen

Mali L.

Yelp
Everything we tried was amazing ! I opted for the asada chilaquiles and they we're delicious. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. It's definitely a fun place for brunch !

Aldo S.

Yelp
Great food and even better service! Lu was our server and went above and beyond by always checking up on us. Plus, all the recommendations she made were awesome. The mazapan iced latte was my favorite! Will definitely be back!

Cindy R.

Yelp
The service 10/10 they were quick to serve! We were a group of 6. The food 10/10! Honestly everything we got was delicious! Came back again now with a group of 13. So yes I would highly recommend. The music is much better on Saturday. The staff is really nice. The location is perfect! Love that it's inside/ outside area of seating

Letty M.

Yelp
OMG!! This place is AMAZING!! This place pop out on my IG as a suggestion while I was in Vegas for my bday. The breakfast places in Vegas strip are whatever.. This place was amazing, the wait was a bit long cuz I was hungry (an hour wait it not bad ) so we sat in the bar area, thank God we did.. we met the bartender name Lu, this young lady service was amazing she over and beyond. while she was making dinks for the rest of the customers at the restaurant.. all the suggestions she made were on point from the drinks to the food.. First the cafe de la holla fire, the s'mores martin fire. To eat I had Chilaquiles with birria amazing flavors. If you're looking for something more authentic, Mexican style breakfast this place is amazing hands down. Thank you to Lu for making the experience amazing.

Stacey S.

Yelp
The chilaquiles do not miss! I got the divorciados with chicharrones and wow, so delicious. I cleaned my plate lol. Great vibes for a brunch place too. Wonderful customer service too! I'll be back.

Steve C.

Yelp
Sorry guys but i didnt care for the chilaquiles. Very Americanized. Chilaquiles need to be crunchy. Sauces can be improved. Service was nice. Nice place. Not authentic.

Jerry T.

Yelp
Great drinks and even better food. Enjoyed ordering small plates and sharing with friends. The service and environment is beyond exceptional. Our bartender kept surprising us with mixed drinks and they were delicious!

Bee C.

Yelp
Cute new place, I ordered my drink before my meal but the bartender didn't make it, I got my food first and I wanted something to go with my food so I asked her about my drink and that I wanted a coffee instead of the drink I had ordered. She goes to the bar and asks for my drink that the bartender's didn't make, eventually both drinks come but I only wanted one. Food was ok.

Mariesol G.

Yelp
Amazing service! Super chill vibe. Get the arroz con leche pancakes. Always love a dog friendly patio.

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday back in December and it was such a vibe. Cute little spot downtown. From the moment i entered the hostess was very nice. I had a big party and they were able to sit us all together. The waitress was so nice and giving us her recommendations on the bottomless mimosas. Food was great too! Definitely will come again.

Janet C.

Yelp
So excited that we found this place for brunch. The menu is stellar and the food delicious. We had the Sopes Benedict and Huevos Rancheros along with the Avo Margarita which was good with interesting flavors. The Cafe de Olla and pastry was outstanding as well. The service was awesome and both our Server and the Manager were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back when in Vegas.

Jeff G.

Yelp
Mario is the man!! Great service for our party! Food was amazing and the drinks were epic!! The "Mexican Coffee" with bourbon - get it! The regular coffee with the biscuit is spot on! Come on down and see Mario!! Cheers!!

Vanessa I.

Yelp
I came here with my family to celebrate an event and the food was ok. The service was good, love how the restaurant was decorated and very clean. I asked if any of their foods had soy in it, as I have a severe allergy to soy. They said no and that they cook with vegetable oil. Vegetable oil is soy and they weren't sure how to accommodate or recommend anything on the menu for soy free. if you have a soy allergy, it will be hard to accommodate that here.
