Mi Morena

I went to Mi Moreba at Tunnel Tops. I ordered some tacos from the options presented on the menu, and the server politely and cheerfully gave me what I asked for. My wife was also treated in a friendly manner. Our adult nephew was also not traumatized by the event. In all seriousness, the tinga de pollo and al pastor tacos are both delicious, and the tortillas are legit.

I got the fish tacos at the civic center la cocina food hall and thought they were pretty good. Fish was not overcooked and the batter was nice and crispy. Could have used a little more of the cream sauce.

Good food in a modern-looking food court. Quick bite for when you're on the go. They serve food quickly and to you at open seating table. We ordered the 3 tacos for $14 and the quesadilla for $9. I prefer the quesadilla since it has more toppings for a cheaper price. The meat in the 3 tacos is equivalent to 1 quesadilla. You can fill your own water & grab utensils and napkins.

This is the worst mexican food I've eaten in years. The guacamole is digusting--definitely NOT fresh. The Nopales tacos are also overwhelmingly acidic and gross. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

The gentleman taking orders was rude. I understand that working a busy event especially with long lines can be overwhelming, but the way he treated my husband and my 2 year old was uncalled for. My husband asked for carnitas tacos and a kids' quesadilla meal, and for someone in customer service I would expect them to respond with options or alternatives. A simple "sorry we don't have that" would have been totally understood. But instead the gentleman responded sarcastically and condescendingly with "Is it on the list?? (2x) and then said "we have a long line here". Yes, my 2-year old waited in the long line for nearly 45 minutes for the food handler to project his frustration at her and my husband. I have reached out to the event organizer of Tunnel Tops to rethink about the mobile food facilities they're inviting into the events. It's clearly an event that attracts a significant number of attendees, dealing with alot of customer questions, especially food being the selling point. It's imperative that only the ones with good resiliency in customer service be invited to protect the reputation of this event. A vendor who takes their frustration out on a customer, especially with a young child, is never the right way to present customer service to the public.

Stood in line at the presidio tunnel tops event today. Ordered tacos that i normally would here but today the guy taking the order decided that i was stupid. After ordering carnitas tacos, he rudely asked "are you joking?" WHY WOULD THAT BE A JOKE? If you don't have it today the better response would've been, "sorry not today" or "if you like pork then you could try..." He then proceeded to tell me theres a long line behind me. I F*CKIN KNOW THAT I STOOD IN IT FOR 30 MINUTES. I ended up with al pastor tacos. Since he decided to be a d*ck then I will be too. 1 star

Flavorful food within walking distance in the TL. Tucked away in the La Cocina Municipal Market on the corner of Hyde and Golden Gate, Mi Morena has all the fixings for your favorite latin dishes. From their menu I enjoyed the plato de guisado, and selected the Chicharron Botanero en Salsa Verde - Pork Rinds Stewed in Tomatillo, Serrano and Cilantro Sauce options for protein. Can't wait to come back and explore more from La Cocina and Mi Morena.

Inefficient service, tiny portions. No idea why there was such a long line at this food truck. Spare yourself the wait.

I love this place!!! They have the best tacos! Every time they are at the Ft. Mason on Fridays, I am there!. The cactus salad mix is truly a wonderful flavor kick and is a wonderful homemade recipe. My favorites have been the al pastor (chicken) and the cactus salad. I know it might sound weird or somewhat interesting. But I promise the cilantro, lime and spices make it special. It's always Taco Tuesdays when I come here!!!

There are 2 key factors in running a successful food business, customer service and quality food. Well, Mi Morena is inadequate in both areas. First, the rude cashier needs more training in showing empathy to customer that does not know or understand their menu. Maybe, he needs to take the educational route in explaining to customer than rather speaking in a condescending way like" IS IT ON THE MENU (multiple times)," when I mistakenly ordered something that is not on the menu. Secondly, tacos were very basic for the enormous cost. they don't even support the tacos with 2 tortilla and they serve their tacos with rice and bean on it. this doesn't make sense. They literally just lost all my connections business.

This review is for the food truck at Presideo Tunnel Top. The food was mediocre at best. $14 for 3 tacos of your choosing: Al pastor, chicken, carne asada, cactus, squash. We got all 5 and they were pretty bland and dry. I guess you pay a premium for the food truck.

Absolutely delicious every single time. I love Mi Morena and will be back so soon. The tacos are so good and I really enjoyed the guac. Try the hot orange salsa / hot sauce. Really special.

Not bad, tortillas are good and fresh but the meat was meh. Carne Asada translates literally to Grilled Meat, and yet, people insist on cooking it on the griddle, seasoning was ok but there was no smokiness or enough fat, i believe it was sirloin or some other cut used for stews. Al pastor is made on a big giant skewer(espada) not here, it was more like filipino adobo. Black beans were used, BLACK BEANS!! on tacos, missed opportunity. There was a cookbook you can buy, may be good for some guisados but i wouldn't buy it for tacos.

We got the "organic tortilla chips and homemade guacamole" -- this is 100% Costco chips and Costco guac. Pitiful.
